This is easily the most charming, cozy cafe in the Inner Sunset. Our drinks were delicious, and I loved the special touch of dried flowers on our cups. We will definitely be back!

Nice coffee shop with beautiful decor. The coffee was good, a balanced blend of smooth and flavorful. The baked goods were decent but not impressive - we tried the curry puff and the banana bread. Service was nice if a little scattered. The barista forgot my son’s order but apologized for the error. We would be happy to return.

This is the sweetest little cafe, you’ve got to try it! The coffee and homemade pastries are out of this world- and so is the kind atmosphere! Also I loved the cups, such a lovely touch! 🌼

My list is always evolving as I discover new places, but Earth Tone Cafe is currently my favorite coffee shop in San Francisco. It's absolutely charming, adorable and welcoming and the people working here are the best. Oh, and the drinks are clearly made with love. 🥰 This is such a tiny shop, but there is so much attention to detail. There is one table inside and a couple of cute tables on the sidewalk to enjoy your coffee while watching Inner Sunset passers-by. Enjoy!

Came here for the oat matcha latte — I ordered 2. There is an option to make it unsweetened which is a plus. The nice lady who works there was very accommodating to my dairy allergy but somehow on the second cup I started feeling the reaction 😔 I don’t know how but maybe it could have been the milk frother that had dairy residue? No clue… ordering out is always a risk I accept so I’m grateful I carry medicine with me everywhere. I brought it up to the lady working there to ask if she remembered to double rinse the metal frothing cup, but she said she did just for me and she was also very apologetic. The spot is super cute and cozy but if you have a dairy allergy and don’t have medication on you - then just fyi ^

Stopped here on a whim while waiting for food at San Tung’s and was pleasantly surprised. We ordered the Peach Lavender Iced Latte and it was refreshing and delicious one with regular and one with oat milk. It is very small and quaint with a couple tables inside and out, but very nicely decorated. We were waiting outside walking our baby around and she brought our lattes out to us. Overall great experience and would definitely come back.

Kind welcoming spot w delicious matcha latte for a great price! It’s adorable w a few seats insight and outside. Doggo friendly too! They sweetened it with condensed milk but you can sub for something else - I went w honey. So good! Thanks! Very cute neighborhood coffee shop with Thai specialty coffee and treats.

I loved the ambiance!! I spent my morning here and read my book before I visited the Green Apple Books bookstore close to here. It was so relaxing. I got the lavendar latte which I normally don't go for when going to coffee shops but I really liked theirs. I would definitely get that again next time!

This is a very nice coffee shop with a very good assortment of hot and cold drinks. Some delicious Thai coffees and teas as well. The sweets you can get as awesome as well! The place is calm and quiet. Very clean as well. I highly recommend Earth Tone Cafe if you are looking for an excellent place to enjoy a coffee or tea and support a local merchant as well.

We stopped by about 30 minutes before closing and were pleasantly surprised by how quickly our drinks were made. We ordered the Matcha Oat Mango and the Thai Milk Tea and both were delicious. The Thai Milk Tea was not overly sweet but the Matcha Oat Mango was on the sweeter side, which I think is from the mango jam. Some matcha places make their matcha really bitter and here it wasn't. We're not from the area, so parking was a little tricky to find, the store is on the smaller side, but it's super cute inside with a cozy vibe. Overall, a nice little stop.

My friend and I popped in to try a few drinks. I had a perfect Americano, and one of the three teas he ordered instantly became his new favorite. I'm still obsessed with the cups, too. I'm not big on writing reviews, but I had to for this place because the owner completely melted my heart. He clearly loves the neighborhood and knows every dog that comes in by name. I didn't bring my dog this trip, but I wish I had after finding such a warm, welcoming spot. Come for the drinks, stay for the people, and bring your pup to meet their new best friend. Truly a special place.

Very cute place with good coffee. Own by a Thai woman and it was fun to chat with her in a little Thai since I have learned a bit of the language in Thailand. She's super friendly and often feed dogs treats to dogs visiting with their owners.

I stopped here randomly to get a matcha latte (hot). With just a touch of sweetness, and an unexpected dusting of matcha powder, it hits the spot. She's resting on the marble cafe table, while I write this review. Yes, "she" because you'll have to look at her portrait to understand how beautiful she looks in her decorated cup in this eclectic, romancy cafe. You can get a variety of dainty snacks here, including brownie bites, mixed nut crackers, and almond cookies. If you need something more, there are egg bites, potato puffs, scones, and Thai curry with rice. Doggie treats and a water bowl too! Next time I'll try the specialty, Thai milk tea. My new favorite little cafe.

Really a lovely cafe. The piccolo is a well balanced espresso drink with just the right amount of milk. I also enjoyed the sesame and almond cookies. Terrific service. The coffee cups have this sweet flower and message on them, "plant dreams, grow miracles." It is a very small space with just a few seats. Would definitely come back!

Very small -- but it doesn't seem crowded when I got there around 11:20! It has two tables for outdoor seating (but seats two each). Came to do work -- works nicely if you don't need too much space but not super ideal. A lot of the people who passed through came to talk and catch up with friends. They have a nice selection of specialty drinks -- got the Thai tea coffee iced latte and it was tasty. This is a nice spot for a quick drink and to have a small chat with friends. Will not recommend if you want to do work (I did tho) only because space is limited (thought there's an outlet available for charging).

I visited Earth Tone Cafe and the service is what really brought my rating down. On the menu, the rose tea is only listed as a cold drink, so when my order was given to me as a hot tea instead, my boyfriend politely pointed it out. Instead of acknowledging the mistake or asking for clarification, the server bluntly said that we never specified hot or cold, even though the menu itself shows it as a cold drink by default. She did remake the drink, but the way she handled the situation just felt unfriendly. On top of that, she took back the hot drink instead of letting us keep it, which just came across as a bit stingy. Otherwise, it's such a warm, cozy, and cute spot. The decor is aesthetic and inviting, making it a great place to sit and relax. The drinks and food also look amazing, and I was excited to try them. I ordered a blueberry scone, which was flavorful and had a nice tang, though I wish it had been warmed up. The rose tea was tasty as well. It's a shame because the café itself is really lovely, and I would have rated it five stars if the service had been more professional and welcoming. I really hope they work on that, because otherwise, this place has a lot of potential.

A sweet little (the space is tiny) cafe. There was room for a couple of tables and people were working on their laptops. You order at the counter and the drinks came out quickly. I tried a cookie and it was delicious.

Cute cafe that has a little seating and a good Americano. Hot and cold drinks even Thai tea. Nice decor and there's WiFi and a few plugs. It's not a huge spot but welcome addition to the neighborhood! I recommend.

I came out to the city because my sister had some errands to run. My mom wanted to find a coffee shop in the Sunset, and found this, and it was a hit! I ordered the mango tea since I don't drink coffee. I asked the employee if the tea they used was green tea, and she said they use black tea. Regardless, the tea was really good and helped energize me from the first swig. I loved that the tea was iced, because it was such a refreshing drink for a relatively warm day in the Sunset at 70. The employee was super friendly and even though the interior is kinda cramped, they have a table and bench outdoors for customers. I don't have many reasons to come to the Sunset, but I would come by here again if I was ever in the neighborhood.

Earth Tone Cafe has been in my bookmarks for a while now, and I finally found some time to visit them during a weekday afternoon. The shop was mostly empty, which is what I hoped for as I wanted to enjoy my book in a comfy spot. It is a smaller sized cafe, which makes it feel very cozy, with both indoor and outdoor seating offered. The shop was bright and clean, and the staff was also very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. I really wanted to try their ube latte, which I saw photos of on their Yelp, but it wasn't on the menu. I asked the barista if they still offered it, and she said she could make it for me! It came out a very vibrant purple color and I could taste and feel actual chunks of ube in it, which I was surprised by as other cafe use some sort of artificial syrup or powder. Definitely check this place out for a slow and relaxing experience with great coffee options!

A cute mini coffee shop open until late afternoon! Dropped by around 3:15pm for afternoon coffee. Got myself a banana latte and it was great! Definition of "not too sweet" for a flavored latte. There were chunks of banana in the drink, which added to the banana flavor of the latte--it reminded me of a dirty (shot of espresso) banana milk from Boba Guys, but less sweet. This place is great for one-stop coffee, a small snack (I saw some egg bites on display and other trinkets), and/or catching up with a friend. Mini tables are provided inside and outside, as well as a dog water bowl for passing by dogs. All in all a cute coffee shop on Irving with interesting flavors on the menu. Will definitely return to try them!

This café is so cute and so perfect and lives up to its name! There aren't very many Thai cafés in San Francisco, so this one was a treat to find. It's very earthy and soft vibes. The woman behind the counter was so kind and so sweet too. I got a banana Thai iced latte! Such a rare find. I loved it so much. And they are dog friendly!

Earth Tone's lavender latte was impressive!! Reminded me of Vietnamese Coffee (with a lavender twist), which was a pleasant surprise given lattes are usually on the milkier side. And of course, the crunchy ice made the drink that much better! Would definitely be a regular at this spot if I lived closer to it.

Cute coffee shop. Friendly people. Loved that they had a dog bowl for water outside and treats inside. Ordered a hot chai since it was a cold day. Good flavor though a bit light upfront but a nicely lingering spice mix.

First off, me and my friends walked in around 5:45pm and we didn't realize they had closed at 5. Once we did, we said we would leave but the lady working (by herself, mind you!) said it was fine and we would be her last customers for the day. Not only did she make us all drinks wayyyyy past closing, but she was so sweet!! The decor is very cozy, feels very hole-in-the-wall. The drink was a pretty standard matcha and she had a handful of nondairy milk substitutes. Please support this business!!

I usually don't like banana flavored things but the banana kafe latte was delicious bc it didn't taste artificial and had lil chunks of banana in it so they probably used real banana. would have liked a bit of a stronger espresso ratio tho

I ordered the banana coffee and it was interestingly delicious! My husband usually gets an americano but had half of my coffee this time :) This cafe is also small but very cozy. I will definitely visit this cafe again!

OMG!! This place was everything and more! First things first, it was really cute and clean. Actually such an adorable place. Along with this, the service was super quick and personal. I got my drink handed directly to where I was sitting! Although it's a small spot, it has quite a bit of seating inside and outside, about 7 people inside and 8 people outside. I came here to study and it was great, lots of lighting and enough outlets around to charge. Now to the drinks and food!! I ordered an Iced Thai Milk Tea and it was honestly very delicious and perfectly sweet. My friend ordered their Cafe Latte and it was super basic and delicious, which is what you want from a simple coffee choice. They also have very funky and cool flavors to try out in terms of sweetener for coffees which I will definitely be back to taste.

a cute little cafe in sunset! i ordered the thai kafe latte, which i figured would be a cross between thai tea and coffee. the coffee was actually really good, but it did completely overpowered any thai tea flavor. so the drink itself was really good and strong, but next time i might just stick to a regular latte :)

Delicious espresso! Flavors blend together perfectly. Cute spot - only thing is it's super tiny. Not much seating so don't plan on coming with a bunch of folks, but for a stop and go spot it's great.

My fiancé and I completed about 12 miles of the crosstown trail today and ran out of water about 1.5 miles ago! So we simply had to stop for some provisions. The smoky iced Thai tea is delicious!! The ambiance is cute and they have unique beverage offerings, both hot and cold. Also sweet and savory small bites/snacks/pastries! I'm happy we stumbled upon this place

I wanted to really like this place because it's so cute and inviting. The only nice thing is the dried flowers they put on the drinks with a nice note. Sadly I have tried their drinks 3x, got their matcha latte twice, just tastes like water. Their iced chai latte is disgusting! It's like doing the cinnamon challenge when drinking it. Also, one server seems to be very unhappy and frustrated both times I visited. No smile, no hello. The older woman was a lot nicer. Do not let their pretty aesthic of the drink fool you.

This is my favorite coffee spot, so I want to sing their praises. The drinks are fantastic, the location is super convenient, and the owner is an absolute angel. If you're curious, my go-to drink is an iced Thai cafe late.

Such an adorable cafe! I absolutely love walking here because it's right on Irving street, there's some nice seating inside and outside but not enough to settle and study. That being said the drinks are creative and delicious! I've gotten all sorts of specials here and I always end up enjoying it. The staff are very accommodating and are always very helpful when I ask for suggestions. Would definitely return again!

Cute, tiny store front. Really not too much space inside the store itself, but was tidy, and the decor seemed thoughtfully curated. Marina behind the counter was super friendly, answered a bunch of questions about the menu and gave great recommendations. The drinks were good, prices were reasonable. Would come back again if in the area.

Basing my review solely on the customer service. I was driving into work and decided to stop and get a coffee. I saw this place has great reviews, when I walked in I wasn't greeted, as the only customer there, I expect at least to be acknowledged. Then I asked about a specific latte and she was very dry. I got the impression she did not want to help me, so I decided to leave.

Such a cute local coffee shop! Love how they have seating both outside and inside so you can sit and enjoy your coffee. I got an iced mocha with lavender added and my partner got an iced banana latte. They were both delicious! I was pleasantly surprised with the iced banana latte; not too sweet and even had banana bits in it without the banana flavor being over powering. Service was also great. When we went, there was only one staff member but the wait wasn't long. She was so sweet to bring us our drinks as we were sitting outside with our dogs.

Literally the worst place ever. I was excited to try a new mom and pop's for coffee, it seemed cute and so I thought I would give it a try. When I arrived I said hello but did not get an answer or a smile. The barista was dropping a coffee on a table so maybe she was too busy. There was no one else in the miniature coffee place but hey some people cannot multi task with a greeting so i will not hold it against her. I proceeded to order when she was done moving things around the back area rather than greeting and helping me (no big deal) but then what followed made me crazy. I politely asked if she could do an iced flat white. She said "NO". There was no explanation. I asked how come (nicely) and she said "we only do cold latte's" in a super unfriendly way. I said "ok well it's basically a latte with less milk, are you able to make me that, i don't even need the foam if its easier".. after another (im not joking) 5 minute conversation about why it didn't make sense (to her) for her to put less milk, she decided to charge me an extra dollar than the hot flat white. I asked her why the extra dollar (because im tired of being robbed in SF with crazy unjustified prices) and she said "i have to add ice". Also it's funny because she had told me she would put one shot less in the iced one (why? I don't know lol but i was not going to argue about that either.. though i should have reminded her when she wanted to charge me more because she didn't think to remove a dollar for that lol)! The whole thing was off putting and exhausting. I already needed coffee but this made me want an extra shot lol. I didn't care about the dollar i wanted that Flat white lol but she was so rude I ended up walking out because honestly she would probably have put a spell on my drink. I sincerely hope she is not the owner of this place but if she is, there is no way her business will survive with this attitude. It was really funny because i walked into the next coffee shop and asked for a flat white on ice and he said in less than ten seconds "sure thing we can do that" and he didnt charge me anything more either!

We noticed this cute shop while on the way to Golden Gate Park. The drinks were just okay. We tried both the non-dairy & dairy version of the Thai Kafe Latte, but they both tasted watered down. Their Jasmine Milk Tea Latte was too sweet but the jasmine flavor was decent. The service was wonderful though, the lady behind the counter was lovely.

Such a lovely cafe! The interior is beautifully decorated and the staff is pleasant and helpful. My friend and I walked in to get some work done and found ourselves seated at a table with an outlet nearby. While other groups were seated outdoors or inside chatting away. This homey style cafe is the perfect spot to catch up with a friend. We both opted for the Thai style iced latte and it was delicious. Reminiscent of a viet iced coffee they use condense milk to sweeten the drink. We also got a strawberry scone to snack one which to our delight came with banana chips as well. We will definitely be coming back to enjoy more great coffee!

My friend and I were walking around and looking for a coffee shop and we saw this one! The store's small but has a few tables and a countertop to sit at. We both got the banana kafe latte and it was really good! The banana flavor wasn't too overpowering and the flavors mixed well. The coffee's also pretty strong!

my friends and i went here during a hot saturday around brunch time and it was packed in the small shop. service was pretty slow because only one lady was taking orders and making all the drinks, but she was nice. i got the chai latte was pretty good but my friend got the "special banana coffee" drink which was not pleasant AT ALL. there was just banana chunks floating in what tasted like bitter, almost bile-like coffee. not sure if id try again - maybe only on a slow day!

If you can't make a decent black brewed coffee- not even hot enough to pass for "kept warm"- I don't know what to say. I was sad. Good thing there are several coffee shops within a walking distance

This adorable little cafe is one of my favorite hidden spots in the inner sunsets! They have really great matcha that is high quality and vibrant green, and their ratios for matcha lattes are perfect. The seating area is really cozy and my pup loves the treats they give out. It is a few blocks removed from the main streets that are usually busy from park visitors and tourists hopping off the red-double decker buses, so I really hope they get enough business to stay afloat. If you are a local and find Beanery a bit too full on a weekend, this is the best alternative since Snowbird got rid of their sit-in space.

tiny little coffee shop in inner sunset. the service is very friendly and the vibes of the place are super cute. there are a few small tables for people to enjoy coffee at or work from. i ordered the matcha and it was pretty good, but definitely not the best matcha you can get in the city. i might come back if i'm in the area but wouldn't go out of my way to visit again. would recommend if you happen to be nearby!

Love the banana latte here. Perfectly flavored and the coffee was strong although it does take a little bit to get used to with the banana bits in the coffee. But at least you know it's real banana milk used!

If you blink you might just miss Earth Tone Cafe's small storefront, but it is well worth the visit if you're in the Inner Sunset area. My partner got the Banana Kafe Latte and I got the Purple Yam (Ube?) Latte. I was also going to get the Banana Kafe Latte like my partner, but decided to branch out so that we could try both drinks. The Banana Kafe Latte had a nice, subtle banana flavor, with chunks of banana mixed in (although it was not gritty and did not have a bad mouthfeel). However, I was surprised that I actually preferred the Purple Yam Latte, which was a little sweeter than the banana latte, and had a nice smooth purple yam/creamy flavor. We will definitely stop by again if we're in the area!

Best cappuccino in the neighborhood! If you're looking for a cozy spot to hang out, this is it. Not a lot of space inside but there's a perfect little corner and a couple of high top spots to plant yourself. Excited to visit again and try their fresh baked scones!

Cute little shop. Matcha wasn't my favorite, so I would stick with the coffees. A bit of line, but was attended pretty quickly. Can't wait to try more.

Tried only one thing here so far and so rating is for this single item: Banana Caffe Latte. It is so good! Didn't think it'll be something that would leave an impression for me but boy, it sure did. I'm writing this review 3 weeks after. Looking forward to going back and getting another cup for myself and another to share.

Came across this cafe while I was on a walk with my kids today and I'll have to say it's such a beautiful cafe and what makes it even more beautiful is the nice people who work there I felt so welcomed and comforting they kept conversation and were super nice to my kids I'll definitely recommend this place to others. Can't wait to revisit also the danish is delicious!

Ambiance was good; cute quaint cafe in the Sunset area. Ordered a matcha after looking at the high reviews but was disappointed when they pulled out bulk Costco matcha powder. Matcha was very light and lacked flavor. Milk & syrup did not have prices next to it, so we thought it was free. To our surprise, milk choices were +$1 and syrups were $0.50. This would have been fine, but this was the only item with a price unlisted thus we thought it was free. Overall, 1/5 for the matcha, but 2/5 for the ambiance. Service was great though would not come back again for the quality of drinks.

This was my first time going here. I got the Sweet potato latte under the impression that it would have espresso, since it contained the words latte. I asked the employee for her opinion on the drink and she seemed very uninterested and unfriendly. She said " oh it's good" when I asked if she recommended the drink hot/ cold. I received the drink minutes after ordering. I tried the drink and it was a 1/10. Tasted like powdery water. There was no flavor to the drink. Highly disappointed in the drink since it was $7. I never write bad reviews and this is the one time where I felt highly disappointed.

Thai kafe latte 4/5: I've never had Thai style coffee with condensed milk but it was nice, not too sweet either! Purple yam latte 2/5: my partner had this one and did not really enjoy it Very small coffee shop, do not expect to come here and lounge around or work.
