After yelping places to eat for lunch, my friends and I stopped by East Beach Tacos on Sun 3/12/2023 at around 2:15 PM. This place was packed, and the line was long..but I still enjoyed my experience + food!
The Triple Play - 3 Classic Tacos $10.50 (price as of March 2023)
I enjoyed all the flavors (I chose the more Asian-y flavors) and felt like the tacos were filling! The Triple Play is definitely priced reasonably and you get more bang for your buck.
+ Gangnam Style: Korean Style marinated steak, cabbage, cilantro pickled daikon, carrot, cucumber, spicy chili vinegar, East Beach aioli, corn tortilla (normally priced $5)
-- I really enjoyed this one. The steak was seasoned well and this taco reminded me of Kogi tacos.
+ Ahi Poke - raw ahi tuna, napa cabbage, marinated red onion, chili flakes, sesame seeds, wasabi aioli, wonton shell (normally priced $5)
--Delicious, def has a sesame oil taste. The ahi poke tasted fresh.
+ Grilled Shrimp - shrimp, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, tomatillo sauce, queso fresco, corn tortilla (normally priced $5)
--Very good as well, but since I got to this taco last, the corn tortilla was already breaking. They were not skimpy on the shrimp either!
Seating: only outdoor long table seating is available and they are facing the batting cages. We came at a prime and busy time so it was hard to grab a table. If you come with a few people, you can split up with some people grabbing a table and some waiting in line for food.
Restrooms are available! They were not dirty.
Parking: Since the place is basically located at a batting cage, the parking was a nightmare since the lot was pretty much filled. We had to find parking at a nearby supermarket and walk over.
All in all, I had a great time! I would still recommend this place.
