East Fishkill Provisions Smoke Haus & Deli

Been here plenty of times, bike night, ice cream and for their amazing deli selections. Their hot lunch and breakfast sandwiches are delicious. Also, I love their macaroni salad and baked beans.

Absolutely amazing food and customer service! Staff is super friendly and helpful, we just had Christmas Eve catered and did the Sliced Roast beef with gravy and Mac and cheese, roasted potatoes and the green bean almondine will knock your socks off! 10 out of 10 all around! We had 20 guest and still had plenty of leftovers to send home with family and keep for ourselves to eat!

Often one of my favorite places. Slightly negative experience this morning. Ordered breakfast sandwiches, some had the wrong ingredients from what was ordered. We also ordered several of the sausage egg and cheese. I know SH makes all their own meat, but I think there is a certain expectation for a SEC sandwich. The sausage in question was odd. It was far more akin to leberkäse or some sort of baloney. I'm not opposed to either of these meats, but was expecting a typical sausage with more tooth to it. The website should go into more detail describing the nature of the meat, since this is house made and not what most would expect (at least for myself and the others who had the sandwiches) on a SEC.

Food is always good here! People working here are all very friendly and aim to please. Ice cream "Specials" are the best... ,$2.00 Sundaes on Sunday, $4.00 Flurries on Fridays, etc. GREAT canopy/porch to escape the sun, and sit under when eating! Great place to go. Give it a try!!

Food is delicious! Seating area is small, needs a little updating and needs to be cleaned more often, but it’s decent. Fries aren’t worth getting a side of... but the Mac & cheese bites are AMAZING! The sandwiches are delicious... my opinion they can be bigger for the price they charge, but food is good. My husband LOVED the chicken south west sandwich (I might not be saying the name right!) and the raspberry white chocolate scones are to die for! Omg!!!! MUST TRY!

I love a tasty cone at the Smokehaus under the Pavillion. Inside you can get a slamming BEC w SPK as the perfect morning pick me up or the best Franks around. They did a full pig for our Christmas party years back and it was amazing!!! Thank you!

Full service deli with cold cuts prepared fresh on-site. Ever changing sandwich menu. Small but well stocked food store for sundry groceries, snacks etc. There is an adjacent ice cream stand with a large selection of ice cream flavors and frozen custard. There's a covered seating area perfect for groups and families. Plenty of parking.

This morning we craved what we remember as a delicious bacon, egg and cheese on a roll. Ordered 2 . What we ate was bread. Had to search for the rest. Nearly 13.00 to eat a roll. While we all understand our economy, this was inexcusable. You need to be ashamed

I'm. Sucker for soft serve custard icecream! Provisions has 24 flavors of yumminess. My go to is usually cheesecake flavored. The girls at counter are always pleasant and never give me any issues on how I order (sprinkles on the side lol) they have a nice lil outdoor that's covered so you can enjoy weather is sunny hot or pouring rain. I have had a couple breakfast sandwich from here too that were always cooked nicely as well a the Italian Hoagies. I would recommend calling ahead for your sandwich so you're not waiting on the long lines in the afternoon.

Had my sons 2nd bday for family catered here. The absolute best penne vodka i have had in my life. And ive had my fair share. Great food and plentiful- everyone took stuff home.

They never disappoint!! Cater from them all the time they're the best. Chicken nuggets heroes bourbon chicken it's awesome. I definitely recommend this place.

Excellent place. Bacon is amazing. Bratwurst is fantastic. We had them provide the catering for a party. The guests loved the food. Fresh and well done. Also has ice cream and a nice place to sit while eating.

This place makes a heck of a sandwich! Great mac and cheese too! I feel terrible for the person that got ketchup on their egg sandwich. Maybe instead of giving a 3 star review, just say no ketchup next time?

Overall, a very good and kinda funny experience. The food was awesome. The pastrami on rye is spot-on. The half-sour pickles and onion rings were also on-point. We were waiting at a table for our order to come out and I went up to the counter to get some napkins. I spotted the lady coming out from the kitchen with our order on a tray, and I caught her actually snatching an onion ring off the tray and popping it in her mouth! Funny as hell...

I called for some advice to feed a party of 70 co-workers and got expert help and a warning to reduce my portions, not increase them! The food was delivered on time with assistance and it all tasted great. The plan is to do this again next year. Thank you Kris and Gus for your expert service and delicious food. You made a lot of people happy.

I hadn't been here in about 12 years, and my son was visiting with his wife and baby, so we were in the area and stopped in for lunch and ice cream. Don't know how I haven't been here in so long, but I will be sure to return soon because I had the most amazing bratwurst! My son and daughter-in-law had sandwiches, and they raved about everything. After lunch, we had ice cream, and that was wonderful too! Great visit and I will be back! On a side note, this place has a long history and I remember going to the original location on the day my son started pre-school (23 years ago!), so it was really neat to go there with him and his 4-month-old son! Great memories!

Paid $9.82 for a sandwitch that is smaller then my hand. This is an absolute joke. I get the pandemic made things go up but this is a price gouge.

This is a great neighboorhood spot which has great authentic German food. When I'm in the area I always stop by to grab some homemade sausages including knockwurst and bratwurst. Also, they have great soft-serve custard and nice seating area. Overall, I can recommend this place for quality food and service.

Friendly service. Delicious sandwiches. The pastrami Rueben is the real deal. Italian sub was nice and spicy.

Quality is top notch. The specials are always great. Service is excellent. Been here for lunch a number of times, but what finally had me post a review was the breakfast sandwich I recently had. Phenomenal bacon egg and cheese on a roll. I'll be coming here for breakfast more often. Only downside is it can get a tad pricey. Breakfast sand which was over 5$ but you pay for quality. Still 5 stars.

Custard is good. Whole family likes it. The sandwiches are pricy for what they are--decent but not great. I had a pastrami rubin and word to the wise, if you're going to get this, stay and eat it there. The 10-15 minute drive home caused it to steam and make the bread super soggy. Seemed like such a waste.

Ordered a sliced 1/2 boneless ham for Christmas dinner. They asked if we wanted to pick it up at the Rt 52 or Old Hopewell rd location. We said Old Hopewell rd. When we went to pick it up they had it in the order book but said we would have to go the the Rt 52 location. Not a big deal but heading away from where we were going. Christmas Day we followed the heating directions and glaze directions. The ham was tasteless and had significant waste. We paid, with tax, for about an 8 pound half ham $90+. We thought we were getting a top notch ham only to realize the grocery store hams that we have gotten in the past are about 1/3 the price on the top end and are far more tasty. Won't make that mistake again.

I won't be giving this business my money after I saw the entire staff not wearing mask when I went inside walk right out. The owner is careless is helping the cause of spreading it and the numbers are going up in the Dutchess County area. If all people are vaccinated then why are the numbers still going up?

I used to come here often and always enjoyed the food and the pricing. I would have to say therefore that it's probably best to stay away on a Sunday. I came in to order a western omelette with cheese to go. I stood and waited for it for 25 minutes. What I got was a dried up over cooked omelette with the cheese on top of that instead of inside, horribly burnt potatoes and equally burnt toast all for the ridiculous price of $9.50. It was completely inedible. They should've thrown the entire thing out and started over from scratch. Apparently no one is paying attention to what kind of food they are putting out any more perhaps because they are preoccupied with their new catering venture. After all these years. I will not bother to try again.

Their soft serve custard was very delicious, 26 flavors, and several hard ice cream flavors.

this is a good place to visit. they take credit card with no extra charge. i've been to diner that says the menu is cash discount price to pay by credit card they add 3.25% to the price. back to Smoke haus. The staff members are friendly and helpful. it's a "full service" deli, after you ordered, the staff can either pass your food through the window or bring it to you if you are seated outside on the terrace. Kid's meal has full size hot dog, french fries, juice box and ice cream. We ordered some BBQ sandwich, and Texas brisket sandwich. The portion is very generous and huge and the price seems reasonable. Ample parking. the bathroom is unisex one at a time at the back of the kitchen area. The Deli is located up on a small hill next to the highway.

Decent sandwich, but I don't like ketchup on an egg sandwich. Got it that way without asking for it.

Ordered food. Waited at least 20 minutes for food to come out. After waiting once my food was ready a person who ordered after me who's food was ready at the same time as mine was VERY slowly checked out before I was even acknowledged and then finally got my food. I went outside to sit and eat with my very hungry and bored family to find out they forgot part of my order. When I tried to go find out about it the doors were locked. I pounded on the door and finally got someone to come. After I explained their mistake they then had to cook my fries. So I went out to try to enjoy my dinner with my family waiting for my fries which after eating the rest of my meal I then had to get up and ask for after another 15 minutes. To be told it'll be out in a minute. Horrible service! Won't be back.

I was looking for a place to get a good sandwich what I got was a great sandwich! I had the roast beef thanks to Wendy. I also had the bratwurst both are amazing. The deli is super clean the people working their are nice. Very helpful. The deli meat looks and taste amazing. I will be back.

Excellent smoked meats. The smoked Kielbasa is some of the best I have ever had. The staff were super nice too!! Will definitely be coming back

Came here the other day and had flies in my face the whole time while ordering my food and then went to get ice cream and a women with reddish brown hair served me my caramel sundae which had a piece of mold in the caramel. I asked for swirl ice cream and got vanilla instead. Very disappointed with this experience and disgusted with the mold and flies.

I'M GOING TO HELP YOU GET THRU THIS MAZE FOR LUNCH. DON'T LOOK AT THE SPECIALS, OR ANYTHING ELSE . Just go to the back meat case for the real winners. The House made Roast Turkey for you (unfortunately they don't serve them warm after roasting) I like my turkey sandwich with a lot of black pepper, tomato and mayo. The house made Large Bologna for the kids. They have bad hero bread, so if you have time, go to Mario the baker in Hopewell, grab a few fresh Bastone bread's, stuff them with the cold cuts, and have a picnic at the East Fishkill Park, sitting near the river! ( NICE )

So two days before christmas I needed some curing salt, 1 tsp. I ran out in the middle of my recipe. I called East Fishkill Provisions. I know they use it for curing meats. I ask if I could buy a small amount of curing salt. Now remember I only need 1 tsp. I was told they only buy in bulk and could not "sell" me 1 tsp of curing salt. I ask if you can give it to me as not to be a sale and I was told "NO" go to Amazon they have it. I did do shopping there with many lunch sandwiches also. BUT will never return again, thanks EastFishkill Provisions for the NO SALT. Such a community minded store two days before Christmas, bah humbug.

Always stop here whenever we visit my husbands family. Great sandwiches and soft serve ice cream. Their breakfast sandwiches are excellent. Good NY style. Living in the south I miss these a lot.

I haven't had too many things on the menu at the Smokehouse. My husband and I usually go here for a breakfast sandwich. The sausage, egg and cheese is pretty good. There have been a few times where it seems like the sandwich was just thrown together. Once, I actually got the end of the sausage, I'm guessing, because there was just a large round chunk under the bread. The coffee at this place is pretty terrible. I'm not a coffee snob or anything and even I find it hard to stomach. If you go to their Route 52 location, make sure you have time to spare. It takes FOREVER for them to make a breakfast sandwich. The hot dogs are good!

Tried this place for the first time today. They have an impressive selection of store made cold cuts and an ice cream stand too. As a BBQ fanatic I opted for the brisket sandwich. Minus the jalapeno and onions since spicy food is not my forte. Not cheap fare,as my sandwich drink and small bag of chips set me back forteen bucks. The sandwich came on a club roll which is a short sub roll. The meat was piled high and delicious. Not spicy but good tasting. I will be back to try the cold cuts. They also sell fresh made sausages and hot dogs, going to get some of them too. If you're in the area try this place for lunch,you won't regret it

Smoke Haus is such a great spot to have lunch. The ice cream is the best in the area. Friendly staff and comfortable environment.

It's kind of expensive for my taste but I always loved the baby-sitter taking us to the old one a long time ago for Cyclones. Also, their BEC's are where it's at. Delicious. Whenever we go on a road trip, we always stop at Stewart's for coffee and gas and then here to grab breakfast. Mmmm..

We had Smoke Haus cater my husbands 60th Birthday at the Lake. We had the standard BBQ menu and "kicked it up a notch" with their short ribs and grilled chicken pieces. It was amazing! Everyone was blown away with the food and the great guys, Edson and Johnathan, who came to cook for us! Favorites included the shells mac and cheese, the special recipe baked beans, extra fresh fruit salad and the ribs! Everything was top quality and it really added to a special day. Also, we chose the Black and White Sheet cake which was another favorite of the day. How often does a sheet cake for 50 have no left overs to enjoy the next day?? This cake was un-pass up able!!! Chocolate and white cake, vanilla custard and chocolate mousse and a light buttercream frosting! Thank you to Kris and all the staff at Smoke Haus East Fishkill Provisions!!!!!!

One of the best place to eat in Hopewell. They have the best liverwurst I've ever had in my life.

Food here is great. We are new in town and ordered catering (brats and pulled pork) for a Labor Day party and we were not disappointed. The bratwurst comes with homemade saurkraut and was excellent. Ditto the pulled pork. Came with tons of rolls and everything else too. No one had anything bad to say about the food, including me, so we will be back.

Extremely rude people every time we've tried going there. Non-accommodating, annoyed if you call first to see if they have something that day (because a lot of the times they don't), rush you at the counter or ignore you while you're there. This has been NUMEROUS times

Expensive for the smallest "wedge" ever. What a joke! I'm a small girl and this didn't cut it for my lunch. Any normal size wedge I've had can typically last 2 lunches, not here. I've had more meat put on a roll than this place put on my puny little 5 inch "wedge." $28 for 2 sandwiches and 3 drinks! Wouldn't have minded if it was worth it! I drive past this place everyday and I will gladly keep driving to find a decent sandwich.

Got egg sandwich. Had to ask for the roll to be toasted (that should just be standard practice), so cheap on the amount of egg and cheese..was that half an egg? And then they didn't slice it in half. No attention to detail. The staff just doesn't generally seem interested in their customers.

Good bologna, turkey, and tuna salad. Bread could be better though!

This is a popular spot and we're surprised we hadn't visited prior to this week. It was controlled chaos during lunch time, with staff barking orders and commanding the crowd will military precision. We loved our pork schnitzel and kielbasa with dripping cheese sandwiches. The combo deals were great deals, and we had overflowing potato salad and cole slaw. With drinks, our huge meals were $10 each. They were two meals in one. The deli sells hot dogs, salamis, hams, etc., presumably all smoked by the deli itself. We tried the salami, bauerwurst, and hot dogs. Mrs. Soy loved the bauerwurst. We expect to be back to try some of their other specialties.

OMG this place is fantastic! The catering items are always delicious, from the pulled pork, brisket, mac and cheese and their big gem is the homemade bread pudding. I order catering from them for most of my parties and have never been disappointed. Great staff, family owned. You must stop in and try them.

Love the Smoke Haus! I'm a big fan of their pulled pork especially! Their ice cream isn't bad either, great place to take the kids after those baseball and softball games

One of my favorite places in the area For lunch, I love the Texas Beef Brisket Sandwich for Lunch. The sides are mostly "meh", but the sandwiches rarely disappoint (the Reuben is pretty good as well). Besides the occasional lunch, it is my main place to get delicious ham, deli meats, sausages, etc. - the quality is not even remotely comparable to the stuff you can get in supermarkets. Not even close. Just SO GOOD. Love it

I promised Chris in June2013 that I would review this establishment. I finally am, sorry. This place is amazing. My son was getting married in Duchess County and being from Tennessee I had no idea where we could have the rehearsal dinner. I called many different places and could not find anyone interested in helping us on short notice till I called this place. They came up with a menu and said we could use a section of their outdoor eating area. Everyone in our party remarked on how good the food was. The service provided to us was more than I could have asked for. I gave this Deli a 5 star because of food quality, service and how they went up and above to make the occasion special.
