Not exaggerating when I say this is the best pasty I’ve had. They had regular, veggie, and curry pasties when we stopped by. We were told they don’t have condiments because the pasties are made to not need them, and they were so right. The crust on the pasties is soft and buttery, but they still hold up very well. You can tell the veggies in them are fresh too. I also really enjoyed the outdoor seating setup. It’s super cute and comfy. 10/10 experience.

These pasties are amazingly delicious - no ketchup or gravy needed. If they were open every day of our visit we would be there!

*So good ya don’t need ketchup* Fantastic pasties. I was introduced to them because they donated a large amount of pasties for a fundraiser ❤️ They have to be the best pasties I’ve ever had. The crust is amazing, and they don’t skimp on the meat 😂 I’m super happy to support them!

The Best Pasties in the UP! When you’re in the Calumet, Michigan area I highly recommend you checkout East Fork Pasty Company. Their pasties sell out fast and they’re only open a few days a week I highly recommend preordering them. You won’t be disappointed.

Followed them here all the way from the PNW haha. But I’m all honesty they have become my family and I favorite pasty. The jalapeño pasty is to die for and each pasty is seasoned so well where most places don’t do much with their meat. If you’re looking for a bit more spice they sometimes have a habanero pasty that’s absolutely bangin, perfect level of heat while have a whole lot of flavor not muted from the spice. Nicest owners ever and it’s nice being able pay $10 flat and get a pasty fresh on the spot. Could go on all day bragging about east fork. They are the real deal

I think we hit the pasty jackpot. When we arrived, the traditional pasties were sold out. This turned out to be a most fortunate turn of events. Would we like to try a new recipe? Sweet potato, butternut squash, ham, potato, cranberries and other tasty ingredients made for a perfectly balanced savory, lightly smoky and sweet festival for the tastebuds. And the crust was perfect: buttery, tender, flaky but not dry. I do hope I find this offering on the menu when I return to Calumet!

Having now visited East Fork Pasty Co. several times, I've had the pleasure of experiencing their pasties through both online-preorder and walk-up methods. The process of reserving an order online was very user-friendly, and the service has consistently been personable and efficient. The standout feature of these pasties for me has always been the perfectly crisp crust and flake that holds its shape, making it a great convenience food. The pasty not only eats well but, from my experience, I have not yet cared to add any dressing or gravy of my own. The filling, in all of their varieties of pasty, has proven to be consistently balanced and decently seasoned. Additionally, it's worth noting that East Fork Pasty Company operates exclusively on Sundays and Mondays from 12:30pm 'until-sold-out’ or 2:00pm, adding to the allure of their exceptional small-batch, handcrafted pasties. The limited opening hours contribute to the unique charm of this establishment, where the demand for their delectable products often results in quick sell-outs. This only adds to the allure and exclusivity of their fantastic offerings. I highly recommend this new pasty window shop based out of Ramona’s Bakery.
