East Hampton Sandwich Company Makes Its Montrose Debut Next Week - Eater Houston

"East Hampton Sandwich Company, the upscale Dallas chain known for offerings like lobster grilled cheese, is ready to make its Montrose debut. The chain’s Montrose outpost at 907 Westheimer Road will open next week, bringing the total number of East Hampton locations in Houston to two. The chain arrived in May, opening its first location in River Oaks. That location has already made a splash, thanks in no small part to an early visit from extremely famous visitors Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott. East Hampton’s Montrose location will bring the same menu of lobster rolls, Fluffernutter sandwiches, and breakfast tacos to the neighborhood. On the boozy side of the menu, look forward to frozen cocktails and wine. As Eater reported when the chain was announced, East Hampton makes pretty much all of its offerings in-house, including the thick-cut potato chips that accompany its sandwiches. Diners can get their hands on East Hampton’s sandwiches starting on Thursday, June 28. The restaurant will be open for dinner service only, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m." - Amy McCarthy

We ordered lunch from here again today. Everything was spot on today, no issues from ordering, delivery, items received and items labeled. Everything was correct and in the correct bag. Food was again warm when delivered. I ordered the cheesesteak sandwich, it was very good. If you decide to have lunch from here you will not be disappointed. Ordered lunch today and had it delivered. We ordered at 11:00 and did not get the food until 12:00. We had 9 orders total, the fries were cold by the time we got them, should have ordered chips. They had the bags marked by what the order was, but 2 sandwiches were put in the wrong bags. I ordered the Cuban Sandwich. It was very good, I really liked the flavor combination they did and the sauce. Good thing I noticed the sandwich in my bag was not the Cuban before I started eating so I could switch with the person that got my sandwich. Would order again, the food was good, they need to pay attention to detail when putting the sandwich in the right bags. Also knowing it’s being delivered make the fries last, but will probably just get chips unless dining in.

I ordered from here on Uber Eats because I was craving a sandwich and wanted something flavorful. THIS SANDWICH IS SO GOOD! I had the Honey Grilled Chicken and added bacon. The only thing I would change about this sandwich is adding pickles. That would set it off for me personally. But I know many ppl don’t like pickles, so I understand. The store made chips were really tasty too, may be a bit salty for some. I will definitely be ordering from here again. WOW.

This little gem has the best food. Super healthy and super friendly environment. LGBTQ friendly. The staff here is super nice and the orders come out super fast.

Quite possibly the worst sandwich I have ever had. I ordered the Italian, sounded good in theory but it was literally drenched in mayo. I had to wipe it off there was so much. May as well have been a mayo sandwich. And the fact that it cost $17 is truly outrageous. I would never eat here again.

I love this place! My go to is the country club wrap. I get it as a lettuce wrap with a balsamic side salad. Sooo good when you’re in a hurry and trying to make a healthy food decision.

I had the Connecticut Lobster Roll with warm butter!! The bread is so buttery. It was delicious with crispy sweet potato fries. The fries could be bigger but over all yummy. My husband got the Philly cheesesteak, they forgot to give him a special ranch that comes with the sandwich but luckily the manager was walking around checking on everyone he got it for my husband right away which I guess made the sandwich for my husband. I had the watermelon cucumber lemonade... so so good!!

Make sure and eat before you come here. The Fried chicken jack sandwich should of been a veggie sandwich it had so much lettuce and a tiny piece of chicken. $15 and it was bite size. Too many sandwich places within 1 mile to come back. Posted a picture of the veggie sandwich and it’s tiny piece of chicken after one bite. Go somewhere else if you’re hungry or leave enough time and money to eat after!

I ordered the fried chicken Jack. Very disappointing. The sandwich was not served hot and the cheese was not melted. The fries were pathetic. More bread and lettuce than actual chicken. Fresh ingredients but very little much flavor. All of this for $14. What a waste. Will not go back.
