I've lived here for about a year, and at this point I can say this is the best apartment complex and neighborhood I've ever lived in. It depends on your perspective, of course, but if you like a quieter neighborhood with easy access to busier areas, Eastlake is a great choice.
The common areas are kept tidy and attractive, and maintenance has responded pretty quickly to service requests I put in. The building itself is great, too. Utilities are reasonable, and the construction seems solid. I stepped outside when I had music playing, and I could hardly hear a thing.
Management is easy to reach, and they greet people by name. I love that it's a smaller team rather than a cast of rotating faces.
There was some property crime that happened a few months ago, which stunk, but I noticed that management responded each time with real changes and not just platitudes about crime. They've changed locks, hired extra security as needed, and communicated with us about it all. That more than meets my expectations around crime.
Overall, I feel safe and valued as a resident here, and I'd definitely recommend living here.
