This is one of the smaller farmers markets I’ve been to and it’s still has everything a farmers market would supply. Fruits, veggies, a taquero, miscellaneous trinkets, and some stuff you won’t find anywhere else. I believe it’s important to know who you buy your food from and this is a great way to do it. I understand it can be pricey buying your produce from a local farmers market but you can ask the grower directly any questions you have about what you’re consuming. Can’t do that at a grocery supermarket. I got lucky finding some parking, but I did see a line of people waiting to park. This farmers market is also at a community park and on a weekend people have games to play. People were friendly and it was very clean. It’s a nice set up for the space acquired.

First time, Farmers Market on Saturday Only small but lots of nice Fruits and vegetables options, ( they just stocked catfish for the 9/7/2019 Fishing Derby ) went there, caught 3 catfish, Great place to rest, chill, Picnic, BBQ, for Families and pets too. Give only 4 stars because the restrooms are filthy with Homeless remnants and no toilet papers, also saw a few homeless hangouts, a lady yelled some profanity at the Sheriff's office and 1 guy that thinks he owns a fishing spot on the lake. Other than that, it's not a bad place and since there's a Sheriff's office next to the Lake, it should be fairly safe, but I would not be there after hours though.

Love it! And for those that have WIC, they can have extra $20 for fruits and vegetables to use there once every summer

Such a good variety of friendly vendors. So many creative clothing, jewelry, self care items and much more. Wish there were a variety of food vendors. Skipped grabbing food to eat today. Arriving earlier than last visit, I was able to buy from the produce. Plants and herbs plants are reasonably priced. Great citrus fruit selection. Fresh farm eggs. Good selection of tomatoes, leeks, cucumbers, carrots and greens. Strawberries looked delicious.

I think this by far is one of the best Farmers market I've been to in a while. They have so many different vendors selling a wide variety of things from fresh produce, to herbs, hand crafted items, and many other things. For families receiving WIC, WIC offers a $30 coupon/vouchers you can spend on fresh fruits and vegetables you can use from now until November, 30 2023. All you have to do is sign up for it and use it at any farmers market that accepts these vouchers/coupons. Also, I forgot to mention there is a guy that is selling a wide variety of plants herbs, chilis, aloe just to name a few $4 each, 3 for $10 , which is a great deal. Check him out. If it wasn't so hot outside I would have stayed to explore the whole farmers market. I would most definitely recommend. I would also recommend to get there early because parking can be a little hectic. The location is great especially since it's near a park, like a few feet away, make it a family event.

Yelp
I adore this farmers market! I have been coming here every weekend for the past month for fresh and quality produce. I recently picked up hummus and a crochet accessory for lighters or lip gloss from one of the vendors (as shown in photos) & I loved it. The pupusa vendor here is also good! I enjoyed a matcha latte here from East Blue Coffee. Would recommend! Magia de Terria often has samples and I love them, would recommend this tea business!

Yelp
Great location and ambiance for a local market. It's more focused toward Latinos and that's what makes it great. Food vendors are pupusas, tacos, agua frescas. The plant vendor had Jamaica plants, a variety of chili plants (lol), bunch of herbs I am not familiar with, and fruit trees (guava, passionfruit, pomegranate) . Vendors for eggs, honey, tea, nuts, couple fruit vendors, and veggies. Even a sports injury consultant/masseuse. If you come on 3rd sat of the month it gets more interesting with Queer Mercado. Live music, artisans, and vendors that sell cool stuff with a Latin edge. Enjoyed that section immensely. the music lineup is eclectic.

Yelp
[Time]: Every Saturday starting at 8 AM and ends at 1 PM at East LA Civic Center Plaza. [Size]: About 10 vendors for fruits/vegetable/food stands and another 10 vendors on miscellaneous arts & crafts. I noticed a peanut stand with a roasting oven selling $6 per bag of freshly roasted peanuts and most of food vendors here are selling Mexican food. [Parking]: Free parking and I didn't have any issues finding a spot to park at 12:30 PM. [Atmosphere]: You can hear lively Latino-theme music playing in the background. Feel free to explore the park lake and I also noticed a COVID vaccination tent right next to the farmers market. On certain days the city government would host additional local community events adjacent to the market. Yes it is not the biggest farmers market, but overall good vibe here. P.S. - The city government was giving out a box of emergency food (canned and dry food) for free and I took one back home.

Yelp
The Farmer's Market has moved a block north on Mednick in Belvedere Park next to the community garden. It moved from its previous location on Mednick at First Street near the Gold Line Light Rail Line to make way for a Covid Vaccination Site. Today there was a great selection of gigantic strawberries, the biggest I've ever seen. Only Fuerte and Haas avocados three for $5. Bigger avocado varieties such as Pinkerton should come into season in two months. Large bunches of enormous fresh picked red radishes, orange colored carrots, and sweet rainbow carrots $2 each/three $5. Fresh roasted peanuts, tacos de Birria... Guava, Loquat, Pomegranate, Passion Fruit trees... The new location has very limited parking and a parking lot with only one entrance/exit.

Yelp
East LA Farmer's Market has temporarily relocated to Kern and Whittier, not far from other location, for 6 weeks. Great location visible to local community, providing fresh food and produce. Also great collaboration with local organizations and service providers onsite. Come through!!

Yelp
It's a great array of custom stands. They offer fresh produce market, fresh tacos, freshly roasted peanuts. The stand my wife & I is the one that sells handmade Mexican handbags with Frida Kalo. They offer an array of souvenirs that make great gift items. This business is family owned & we love visiting the on Saturday mornings. There's great parking, public restrooms are is close by near the park & public access tables if you choose to dine in. Of course, there's the park next door if you're in a pick nick mode. The Saturday we were there it was very quite, bc it was overcast we believe other vendors did not show bc of chance of rain. Also, there a great amount of local neighborhood outreach stands that provides from WIC sign ups, state & local informational that deal from social security info to health plans sign ups. All the workers are very helpful & generous with their time. Vendors are both accommodating & are reasonably priced. If your in the area, it's great for family outing event.

Yelp
Very tiny compared to other farmer markets I visit. I was very bored of their offerings but the man selling a WIDE variety of nuts, dried fruits and basically finger food caught my attention. He literally filled my sister and I'd PALMS with free samples. After doing so, I couldn't help but buy something from him. He was a great salesman. Kept throwing out deals if we purchase more items. He seemed very passionate about what he was selling and I adored it. His dried chili mangos were the best i've tasted. You go dude.

Yelp
A great local farmers market with SO much variety of fruits, vegetables, nuts, & eggs.

Yelp
Don't bother coming it's a waste of time. There is no selection in either veggies or fruits. You still only have one vendor that sells any real veggies despite the number of years that this market has been around. Too bad, I had high hopes for it. I like to buy local (my home is in East Los) but it has nothing to offer.

Yelp
Went here with my buddy and got some potatoes, calabazita and eggs. All fresh and certified organic. Some things are a little pricy but the quality is excellent. I recommend getting the honey as well.

Yelp
This is a great market. nice and small, but good variety of vendors. The food is really good. Great location, right by the park. Ample parking, in the lot and structure. Highly recommend this one.
