This was our family’s party, and unfortunately the overall experience did not meet expectations.
The birthday noodles were bland. The lapu lapu had a strong fishy smell and taste. The shark’s fin soup was too watery, overly loaded with seafood, and had a strange, fishy, unbalanced flavor. The taro curry puff had a sharp, tangy aftertaste that was unpleasant.
Service was also an issue. The waiter, Jasmine, seemed not properly trained. Despite having two vacant chairs, the food was repeatedly served from the side where the kids were seated, which made things uncomfortable and inconvenient.
On a positive note, the pigeon was good juicy and well cooked. The crab rice and malayko were okay but not memorable. The dessert was too bland.
Overall, aside from one dish, the food and service were disappointing for a family celebration.
