Such an amazing experience! They have some of the best beers on tap that I’ve ever seen! one of the best selections I’ve seen in all of DFW! Also, last time I was there, I ended up locking my keys in my car, the employees were so helpful and allowed me to use a charger to charge my phone as well as their phones to call someone to come and help me out! Without them, I would’ve been stranded for who knows how long and I will always be grateful for them helping me out in this situation! Genuinely if you were one of the people who helped me out tonight thank you so much you know who you are! I wish nothing but great experiences to you!

Google
Wife and I went here last night for date night, had a great time catching up and people-watching. The selection was superb as always and we were pleasantly surprised with the variety of mixed drinks they provide on-site. It made my wife's taste buds very happy. The area was well-lit but not blinding and the umbrella covers helped thwart the suns rays and accompanying heat. Their partnerships with the food trucks served us well as there was no shortage of options from which to choose. The staff stayed focused and busy, doing their due diligence to keep things clean, customers satisfied, and glasses full. We will be sure to swing by again in the future.

Google
While searching for a dog friendly lunch spot we decided to try East Side. The chill vibe was perfect for us and our Yorkies. We were welcomed in by Patrick who was awesome. Offerings include a huge variety of Whiskey, Beer & Scotch. There are several Food Trucks with more to come and a huge pet friendly patio equipped with TVs, games and heaters for those chilly days/nights. We were impressed by the service, The Pet of the Month Contest held on Sundays (sounds like so much fun) and the good quality food. The location is great for the college students in the area. Parking was easy and convenient.

Google
Eastside is one of my favorite bars to go to in Denton. The environment is so relaxed, and the drinks do not disappoint. They have food trucks parked in the back where you can get something to eat.

Google
Love the large outdoor seating area and variety of food trucks! Kid-friendly (they were finishing a big-screen projector showing of A Bug’s Life when I arrived around 7 pm on a Wednesday); more adult-vibe afterwards, but very laid back and low-key; not too crowded, no long waits for service. HUGE selection of beers on tap! Enjoyed; will return soon.

Donavon Pietzsch

Google
It feels like a poor man’s version of truckyard. There is only one big screen so you have to hope it’s the game you want. The staff creates an authoritative hierarchy and isn’t a fan of consumer feedback. The beer is mid at best as most of the menu is lacking depth which is disappointing with how many options they have. If you’re looking to experience Denton while having a drink, this is not the place for you. Check out harvest house or oak street drafthouse to really feel denton.

Google
Great bar in denton. Huge draft list. Huge outdoor area full of picnic tables with great food to choose from out back at the food trucks! Since Mexorean doesn’t have its own profile on Google maps, just a quick shoutout to them here! Great fusion tacos!

Matthew Ellis

Google
Beer selection is always fantastic here, and the bartenders are awesome. Food truck selection is great too. Highly recommend for a chill night out.

Yelp
We went for their 11th Anniversary Party and had a blast! Great Live Music! Good Food Truck options and wonderful service in the midst of high volume crowds. HERE IS THE BEST PART: Winds were swirling and knocked over our umbrella and table and beer bucket slid off and crashed to the ground. Within 3 minutes we had a fresh bucket on our table free of charge to replace it. You can't beat that kind of customer service and look forward to future events at East Side!

Yelp
It's always a good day for a stop at East Side Denton, where friends gather for celebrating life and find happiness in Denton's thriving craft beer garden and gathering spot; catch your breath and enjoy a peaceful day or evening immersed in the city's thriving economy. It's a covenant between the owners of the enterprise and its paying customers, who have already survived the most disruptive world health threat, the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, which cost a lot of damage to our non-well capitalized venture. It's time to get out there, safe and sound in the knowledge that the secrets of managing assets of the enterprise must continue to the customers of a beer joint called East Side. Cheers, Mark F.

Yelp
Cool place with tons of outdoor seating, beers, and food trucks. I never had to wait for a beer or cocktail, there were plenty of bartenders. The food truck selection was ok but could have some better ones. Looked like cafeteria pizza at one, burritos at another, and the one i ordered from was only taking orders in waves so i had to wait 15 minutes just to put in my order, this particular food truck was an organized nightmare. I think of they got better food trucks and they got more efficient this could be a 5 star place

Yelp
One of my favorite spots in Denton. The place to be on a weekend night! You're always bound to find something to satisfy your food cravings here. My personal favorite food trucks are The Saucy Hibachi and Mexorean. It's a fantastic place if you're out with a group and can't decide on a place to eat. Something for everyone. The drinks are cheap and the pours just right. I'm not a huge beer fan (typically just sours or a cider if I'm in the mood), but there's always something I like. Usually just a jack and coke for me, but sometimes I'll have one of the premade frozen drinks. The pink one (Strawberry something?) on a summer night is DIVINE! I usually sit outside with my dog, but inside is great too. Heated lamps will keep you warm in the winter and high power fans help keep cool in the summer. Dog friendly outside. The music is eclectic; sometimes pop, sometimes rap, sometimes 80's, sometimes alternative rock. Always enjoyable. The employees are always friendly. They're always familiar faces, so I assume they're treated and paid well! The recent addition of the outdoor screen is fantastic. It can be a tad difficult to see in the light of day, but it's manageable. I always take family here when visiting. Always a good time without killing your wallet. A must stop for any pregame, chill night, or bar crawl!

Yelp
Best sports bar in town. Huge Jumbotron, awesome drink selection, great food trucks, amazing service. A must in Denton

Yelp
Fun place. Always people there for socializing and people watching. Variety of food trucks but also walking distance from other restaurants and the square. Definitely a place to check out for a beer or cocktail.

Yelp
The finest greasy spoon this side of the Mississippi. Friendly faces, fresh food, and the finest facilities I've ever seen. Take it from an old trucker, like me. I've spent plenty of time in truck stops and seen all manner of untidiness. But, the bathrooms and showers at this truck stop are THE cleanest I've ever had the pleasure of using. They're so clean they would make that goofy lookin beaver mascot from that glorified thrift store bawl it's eyes out. Also, if you're thirsty, they make the BEST Chilton. Ask for it.

Yelp
Incredible beer and whiskey selection. Love the laid back, rustic vibe. Outdoor seating might not be seasonally appropriate but a fantastic beer garden feel when it is. The various food trucks provide an awesome range of options. Their website tells you what trucks are there on what days and times. Helpful service offering multiple beer samples, too.

Alexandria N.

Yelp
Great spot to meet friends, watch a game, eat good food from the food trucks. The people watching from the elevated patio is impeccable. Tons of space heaters for chilly weather and fans for hot. Seems like they really thought of everything. Drinks to get - Irish whiskey and coffee, margarita on tap.
google avatar

Yelp
Tons and tons of craft beers to choose from on the monitors and wall... but they also have domestics in bottles. The bartenders are very attentive and friendly and the place is comfortable and fun. I was there one evening while the Stars were playing in a playoff game and there were tons of Stars fans and tons of jerseys, it was neat.

Yelp
Drinks: 5/5 East Side has a MASSIVE draft beer selection and also musters some great cocktails. Service: 4/5 It's truly a hit-or-miss if you'll get friendly staff here. Sometimes they are having a good day, and some days we've seen people get kicked out for bizarre reasons. We typically get great service here though. Environment: 5/5 East Side does everything right to fit any occasion. Plenty of TVs to watch sports, amazing outdoor area, and you'll never have trouble finding a table. The foodtrucks out back are absolute winners.
google avatar

Bree A.

Yelp
Really fun place- only a few tables inside but tons of outdoor tables in the back. Easy to grab drinks and chill environment. Staff was nice and helpful. Would be a great place to watch a game or bring a group.

Yelp
Between Eastside, Miss Angeline's and Oak Street Draft House, there's something for everyone. Incredible craft draft selections at Eastside--too many to count! Plus a delicious variety of food trucks including Pickled Carrot. The beer, the food, the atmosphere ...the very best!!

Yelp
I love the vibe of East side Denton. Huge beer selection and truck yard right there for some good food. Also giant liquor selection at the bar so if your thirsty love a good food truck yard and a chill environment this is the place. Love it

Jordan C.

Yelp
Drinks, atmosphere, and food trucks good but service was poor. The bartenders were rude when asked a simple question about politely changing the TV to a game. They had multiple of the same games playing and when asked to change (called beforehand and they said they would be playing this specific game) they replied with "well does it look like it's on". Won't be coming back.

Christine D.

Yelp
If you get anything with a higher ABV, they started only filling the snifter glass 75% full - why?!? Hence the one star... I hate to be a cheap tipper, but when told to only fill my glass 3/4 full - it's on the management. Highly disappointed. Go Mean Green. Also, thankful that most people outside are not smoking despite the nasty ashtrays on every table - gross. The only person I have seen smoking so far is the employee checking ID's at the back gate... nice.

Yelp
A very good time, every time. Great patio, beer selection and overall vibe. I really enjoy coming here.
google avatar

Yelp
I came here with some friends and it seems like a very lively place on the weekends. It was always full of people, and while the bars were busy the service was quick. I love how many beers are on tap to try, especially local beers.

Yelp
This is what all beer gardens should aspire to be. East Side features a huge selection of reasonably priced Texas craft beers, a massive outdoor patio, and access to food trucks. It's an unpretentious place to enjoy good drinks with good friends. What more could you ask for?

Carson W.

Yelp
Whoever the dj is needs to be fired immediately, terrible Christmas auto tune ridden music ruined everything on a Friday night before the 25th

Yelp
Great place to visit with a group! Very respectful and nice. I would recommend this place as a go to hang out. Beer great and prices awesome

Yelp
This was one of the first bars I ever went to, so it holds a little hold on my heart, but every time I go I get a little more upset. I do love the outside, and of course the food trucks. However, every time I go the bartenders are very rude. I know a lot of people say "oh that's just east side!" But for the prices they charge I feel like you should have to deal with it. Don't get me wrong, some of the bartenders are very nice and will answer questions you may have. However another issue I find is ordered into any thing other than beer here, results in something unpleasant. Most of the cocktails I've tried here from their list were horrible. More often than not, I've had to just leave my drink full there on the table because I did not like it. This last visit made me a little upset, I was sitting down and got a beer from the outside beer trailer. It was rather warm out of the tap. I understand cause it's a 100 degrees outside, but don't have a outdoor service area, if you can't provide the same quality as you can indoors. So, I decided to place my glass of beer, inside another glass of ice, makeshift bottle service if you will. This helped cool it down a lot, until the cleaner came and took it, without saying a word. Didn't ask if I was done, just took it. I tried to stop him but he was too fast. Goodbye almost full 6$ beer, you were meant for so much more! Anyways, I think I'll stick with going to Harvest House for the time being. The selection isn't exactly the same, but I like the vibe over there a lot more.

Shaterrica C.

Yelp
I love the atmosphere, bars, and food trucks. The staff is fantastic, the prices are unbeatable, and they're dog friendly! Absolutely love this spot!

Yelp
This is another awesome patio hangout. We always migrate here after our Wednesday night run club. Amazing beer selection! You really won't crave anything that isn't on their beer list. I am not sure what it looks like on the weekend but during the week the service is exemplary. Hats off to the owner, the staff, and the crowd. We will revisit this location for years to come! Make sure you check it out on your next trip to Denton!

Yelp
Never had an issue with any of the staff here, they're all really cool, fun and knowledgeable about their craft scene which they rotate periodically so you get a great feel that they love what they do. Now, if it is super crowded, yes, you better know what you want - the onslaught of people needing beverages behind you suggests that courtesy. We've been coming here since they've opened and it is a terrific place to meet up and expand your brew palate. It's also got a covered patio and some TVs scattered around the bar/patio areas. At night and most days, you'll find food trucks behind the building, easily accessible through the gate - just leave your brews behind as you place your orders. When it is not as busy, you can talk to the staff about new cocktails they've brewed up or discuss their knowledge of your favorite style of beer. But, all these reasons, and why I haven't written a review about one of my favorite hangouts near the square is this. I like that some people don't know how cool it is. I like that, for the most part, no kids are in the building past 10pm. I like the pet friendly patio area and long picnic tables that encourage networking. Yesterday, I found something I like even more that pushed me into writing a review. We signed up for a beer & food pairing with the very talented Justin Bonard a certified Cicerone at ES and dishes from the Chestnut Tree. Chestnut Tree is right on the square, only serving brunch on Saturdays. Each sample of food was matched with a beer that not only complimented the tastings but enhanced the experience. It was amazing. So, if you're looking for something to do around town that is a little out of the ordinary, check out their upcoming events - and sign up, these classes fill up fast. Until next time, ES, may you continue to delight your customers as you have me. Life is too short to eat boring food and you've stepped up that game with what you have to offer.

Yelp
I love a good beer and I love trying new ones. Anyone who lives in Denton knows about the Oak Street Draft House. East Side is it's brand new little sister bar just down the street. Similar philosophy but different attitiude. Where as OSDH&CP is about the retro old school charm of the 1890's house with mismatched chairs, and tables and eclectic music being pumped throughout, ESSC is more of a sports bar with Flatscreen TVs, a 15 foot(?) mesquite wood topped bar with lots of copper and taps galore. ESSC is about a really nice porch with booths and an upper area with wicker seats and a large beer garden area with red umbrellas an two giant flat screens primed for football or any other sports viewings. Cornhole on the side and darts on the inside and an amazing display of all of the taps. OSDH&CP has this great hand-written list of all the beers on tap. ESSC has a vertical computer display of all it's beers listing the alcohol content and where the beer is from. ESSC also has one other big focus. Texas whiskey and bourbon. After a really nice pretzel stout from Martin House (Texas beer), and the various drinks my friends all tried, we switched it up and all of us discovered TX Whiskey from Fort Worth. The bartender and one of the part owners turned us on to it. First off, at both bars the guys behind the bar are all beer lovers and know what to recommend. Trust them. As for their whiskey prowess? They did well there too. The TX Whiskey had alot of vanilla notes to it and being that I had it with a splash of water and an ice cube, I have a new way to appreciate some good spirits. My friends all had it with Coke and they all agreed that it tasted like a cream soda. ESSC is a welcome addition to the east side of the Denton square and I'm sure both ESSC and it's big brother OSDH&CP will continue to have great success because of their uniqueness and what they bring to the community. John had a great idea and him an his friends were able to put together two great places to relax and enjoy yourself. Support Denton businesses! Especially these places.

Yelp
Walked into this establishment and the female employee did not let the two females of our group in in after letting the three males in. She said we walked in "stumbling" when we were not. There was no reason for her to do this, as we were very friendly while entering. Staff are very unfriendly and would not recommend coming here. We are repeat customer and this is not what we all expected of Texas hospitality. Disappointed. Bartenders are cool, female checking our ID was not. Would give zero stars because of how rude the employee was to us, but have to give one star.

Yelp
Most amazing bar in Denton! Me and my college friends enjoy coming here, it's a little quieter than Fry street but still has a fun atmosphere. I really enjoy the green tea shots and the St. Bernard cocktail. The staff is always very helpful and decently friendly. I've never had a drink here that I don't like.

Kevin B.

Yelp
This is the first time I have written a yelp review. I was traveling from California trying to escape communism. Anyways, I was assured Northern California is the cultural hub of all things beer and atmosphere. As most things I've been taught here I learned that is indoctrination. Eastside is the quintessential brewery bar. The perfect blend of dive bar and brewers brewery. From vibe, to layout, to booze, and hidden gem food truck destination, this IS THE place to be. I've frequented many a pub in my day and if I lived here this would without a doubt be my first and only watering hole.

Alki H.

Yelp
horrible establishment. i was asked to leave for being on my phone LOL. Ordered 2 mules and they were vodka sodas made by the MANAGER of the place. would rather give my money to the less fortunate than this ass wipe. 0 stars

Yelp
Sunday afternoon with kids. Great beer selection, great food trucks, spreadout and good covid protocols. Would definitely go here again. They also made kid friends cocktails
google avatar

Yelp
I came here for my 20 year reunion. It was extremely packed, but the bartenders and the wait staff were able to keep up with the high demand. I'm more of a wine drinker and the selection for wines were very limited, so they were very helpful in helping me selecting a beer. I think the really cool thing is the food trucks behind the building. There are many choices with pizza, sandwiches, Thai, and tacos. It was fun going to the different trucks and trying a little from each one. All the choices were yummy! It is different concept and it was a fun evening!
google avatar

David S.

Yelp
Probably my favorite bar in Denton. They have a massive selection of beers to choose, a great bar-tending staff, and a huge outdoor area to enjoy. Prices are very reasonable, there is pool tables, darts, and corn holes outside. If you're hungry, there is usually one or two food trucks parked outside for you to divulge in. Pup friendly as well, so bring your 4 legged friends with you!

Jim A.

Yelp
This bar was disgusting and the manager was screaming at patrons as they entered the venue. Took 10 minutes for some people to get a drink and seconds for others. Can't say for sure if race was the reason.

Yelp
You have to understand, I was so extremely thrilled to come check this place out. I'm not from Denton, but we wanted to make the drive out there and check the town out. This was one of the first places I bookmarked because it just looked so different and cool. We arrived, walked inside to an area that said they check your IDs there. There wasn't anyone there, so we kept walking. Made eye contact with the bartender who gave us a friendly smile. Then we kept walking to the back area with the tables, food trucks, and dogs. We had entered with energy drinks because I'm constantly tired. Anyway, we were about done with them and even noticed a trash can we could dispose of them in. As we had entered, we looked for signs saying no outside food or drink. We didn't see any, but we knew they probably wouldn't allow it... So of course we would toss them in the trash can. We were outside, and as soon as we stepped out there... This male employee ran over to us like a bat out hell. And then he berated us for having the cans (like straight up power trip / make a scene berating). I honestly thought he was coming over to us to show us an open table because he was pointing... But no, he decided he wanted to come get stern with us about our drinks. I get rules. I get not having outside food or drink, and I 100% understand someone asking us politely to dispose of our drinks. The way he came at us and was so rude, I just couldn't. I don't take kindly to someone acting like that when it's not called for. (based on a few other reviews, people have also had issues with rude staff). I told my girlfriend we should just leave. Yes, the attitude this man gave us was just not worth my time. The place looked amazing, but sadly I didn't want to deal. I'm giving the place two stars because of the food trucks and the nice set up. Also because... It's dog friendly! (huge fan of that). I would love to come back here the next time I'm in Denton. Hopefully it would be a different experience. I want to like this spot. *update: management has gotten back to me about talking to his staff about my concern. He was very professional and reached out to me. I appreciate his kind words. I will be checking them out again the next time we get out to Denton (hopefully soon) so that I can experience East Side the way it was meant to be experienced. I am sure that my rating of this spot will change once I get a chance to experience it to the fullest.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots in Denton! Bang next to the Denton Square! Laid back patio bar with plenty of outdoor (non- covered and covered, there is actually a porch before the outdoor patio) seating and some spots inside as well... I usually stick to the beers and they do have a brilliant collection of micro brews and local beers! There is an add on patio, at the back with quite a few food trucks parked! The service is fast, friendly and fun!! On weekends, you can take alcohol to the food truck section, but on weekdays they do not allow, given staffing limitations I assume. Still, you can buy food and bring it to the main patio! So never an issue.. Given its location, its right in the thick of the action with easy access to the buzzing Denton square area! Will be back as always.. might try that bourbon collection I hear about!

Yelp
Great to place to catch up with friends over a drink. There is a decent amount of space inside, but the back beer garden is large, and a bit classier I think than that over at Oak St Drafthouse (although you can't really go wrong there either). Here the draft list is even larger and you have to order by number. They have nice large electronic lists showing all the varieties, but sometimes on weekends they do run out. They also allow dogs in the beer garden, and it seems this is where all the socialites with dogs bring them, probably saw 1 per table. And right outside the back beer garden are some food trucks, because sometimes you just have drunk munchies and need them quenched asap. Everything about East Side is great, right up there with OSDH as the top place to go drink socially. I had the Revolver Blood and Honey, a solid golden ale brewed with wheat, and it had a hint of honey, but not the orange zest mentioned on Revolver's website. Good and I would recommend it, and East Side.

Don W.

Yelp
Been here a few times. Went originally for the food trucks, but went inside to see what they had to drink. Wow, I think it's like around 96 different taps. I'm not a beer drinker, so I'm very happy they have a lot of different flavors of hard ciders and ales. The bartenders are very friendly, helpful and patient and are more than happy to assist you with making your choice.
google avatar

Gert-Jan W.

Yelp
Went here Friday night with some friends, was my first time going. I loved the set up of their beer wall with the numbered beer tap handles. It made it convenient to order as you could pick your beer while waiting in line. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the wait at the bar was often a little long. I might have just caught them on a very busy night, as it looked like the bar was properly staffed. The outside patio is excellent, and has a convenient gate to the food truck area right behind east side bar. Would definitely go back here to try more beers and hang on the patio.

Michael T.

Yelp
Changed my rating see below! It is not showing my new rating of five stars for some reason but please know that I would now rate them five stars. I am leaving the original post so you can see from my update how good customer service and good management are still alive and well. I ordered a facemask to support our local Eastside Bar. It looks nothing like the one on the online website. I am happy to support a local business in hard times or just in general but if you're going to offer something up claiming it is a facemask it should be as advertised. This was one of your t- shirts cut out around the logo with some slits cut in the fabric for ear slots. Advertise it for what it is, don't do something like this. You all are better than that. Disappointed customer! Update: I am pleased to share that management emailed me and apologized and provided a refund. I will definitely find other ways to contribute and help this business in the future. Thank you Eastside for contacting me.

Dinkle P.

Yelp
Disrespectful bartenders need a reality check. Dude said "we got 90 beers I need a number" yah sure bro y'all only serving 30 though . With all the other bars around I won't be tipping here anymore. Enjoy peddling amber liquid the rest of you life. Wish you the worst.
google avatar

Ally D.

Yelp
Everyone here is super nice, always. They have beer we like, always. They have a huge selection, but also a good variety. It's not just for people who love IPAs - they have plenty to choose from. It can get crowded, and on days that are hot or cold, it can be a challenge to find a comfortable place to sit. That said, when the weather is nice, all I want to do is go to East Side. We love to go for pint nights and events they have, and enjoy the food trucks. Sometimes, it's not clear whether you can take beer to the food truck area or not, but the trucks are always great! We bring friends who are beer snobs, friends who drink wine, friends who drink Miller Lite, and people who like lighter craft beers. Everyone always finds something they love! The vibe here is always relaxed, and the crowd is mixed in terms of age. Everyone feels at home here, and we always have a good time! I wish there were more chairs than benches, so that everyone could sit comfortably, and I wish they had more effective heaters so that the outside could be remotely comfortable on cool evenings.

Yelp
If you are looking for an amazing selection of beer, micro brews, cider, etc... This is your place! Not only do they have around 90 brews to choose from, they are constantly rotating new beers into the menu. Usually when I am there, I have to spend a few minutes looking over all the choices before I can zone in on the beer of my choice. They have great prices for their pints and they have an awesome wall collection of what each beer's tap looks like if it were on the draft line. If you are into whiskey, no other place to go but here as well. I believe there are over 100 different types of whiskey they offer here (at a great price as well) and you are bound to have a great time here. They have a fantastic indoor lounge area with a good amount of seats and plenty of TVs to go around. Their outside is awesome! Tons of outdoor seating, there are also TVs outside as well, and you can't beat having a chilled brew, hanging out with friends, on a warm summer night in Denton. This is usually my go to place when friends/family come into town as well as my favorite watering hole. Love this place!

Yelp
Came here to celebrate christmas with some friends. They're open on christmas. They offer a rather low key bar. Their menu for beers on tap is massive! Some of my favorites were the jaberwonk (IBU 114) ipa, and the Noel Jolly pumpkin from Michigan. If you're not a beer enthusiast they offer lots of top shelf liquor as well that can be hard to find; at least what my friend had told me. Overall, the bartenders here are excellent. They were all very friendly and quick to help out. They have an awesome patio here in which dogs are welcome! Probably on leash though. I know this from seeing a dog hanging out with it's owner there as well. On Christmas, the bar was an eccletic mix. They offer some large screen tv's near the bar to catch up on your Sportscenter highlights, etc while hanging out. Their darts board is some of the better dart boards i've got to play with around denton. The actual darts are a little cheap though. So if you must bring your own darts! To get the darts you have to keep your Id for collateral.

Yelp
They have a really impressively curated selection of whiskeys - including some pretty highly regarded and hard to find boutique bourbons and scotch. All that to go along with what's obviously a good selection of microbrews and craft beers. The staff working the bar is very friendly and attentive, they never you leave you hanging with your elbows on the bar hoping to make eye contact and get their attention. I'm not often in Denton, but I'll make an effort to drop in for a bourbon or two at East Side from now on. My only complaint is their ice. It's the typical cheap stuff from an ice maker - which melts extremely fast and waters down your whiskey almost immediately. If they switched to ice spheres or at least deep frozen ice cubes it'd be a much appreciated improvement. Until then I'd order the whiskey neat.

Yelp
Another great bar in Denton! It's hard to beat a beautiful day on a patio with a good drink in your hand. East side has a huge patio with numerous picnic tables and lots of space. They even have many heaters for when it's cold. Maybe the best part is that you can bring your furry friends or meet some new furry friends. Every time we have been there we have met multiple dogs! Also they usually have a food truck or two right by the patio. They have an extremely large amount of draft beer, most are craft and specialty beers. Great selection! They also do mixed drinks and they are made well. Prices are pretty good and the bartenders are usually very friendly. They do seem to have a more college crowd than most of the other Denton bars. This makes me feel a little old, but I guess that time has come. East side is one of the many fun denton bars and you should go check it out.

Yelp
This is my favorite place in Denton to stop for drinks. They have so many options! I love a place that has multiple ciders since I don't drink other types of beer. I strongly suggest this place if you just want to hang out and have a few beers.

Yelp
East Side is my favorite bar to hang at in Denton. Laid back spot with plenty of outdoor seating. Pet-friendly for all the dog lovers. A huge selection of beverages on tap to choose from!!! You can always find a food truck or two parked in the back to grab food while you chill and drink.
