East Texas State Fair Administration Office

Small town fair. Can easily see everything in 2 hours. Parking lot is the worst I have ever seen. You need a pickup truck to get through the parking lot. Very dusty and dirty. The fair itself is ok. Remember it’s a small town fair. One food vendor should be closed down. He was touching food with his sweaty dirty hands for nachos. Glove only on one hand. Extremely nasty.

Y'all think it's better? You've got to be kidding me. The size (carnival) of that thing is horribly small. I bet Longview Fair is bigger than ours. Yes, the grounds are bigger but they downsized the carnival tremendously. We went from having 5 thrill rides down to one. Ring of fire 🔥 which happens to be the most boring one of them all. You guys don't remember at a point of time we had The Hi-Roller, Kamikaze/Renegade, Spinout, ZIPPER, Freakout, ghost house, and the Ring of fire to top it off? No....way. This thing is sad 😭 and the carnival at the mall has more thrill rides than the fair. That's where I'll go for now, Louisiana State Fair and Texas State Fair.

So fun for the whole family, the fair gives discount for local students on certain days. I wish they gave discounts for toddlers paying adult price for a toddler is kinda crazy

Love the East Texas State Fair, I have went every year since I was being pushed in a stroller and I am now 47 yrs old, for the best fair food, turkey legs, sausage on a stick, freshed squeezed lemonade, and some of the juiciest hamburger you ever will sink your teeth in, and so much more , All the exhibits and good deals , and of course the thrills of the rides and games , so much fun for family and friends, absolutely love the smells of the fair and the fun atmosphere. And the time of the year is the best!

Complete waste of time and money. The parking lot is nothing but wood chips and logs. $37 Just to get in after walking 10 minutes threw the wood crap. And then you still have to pay for tickets.

If you are planning on attending the East Texas state fair in 2021 please know that four of the big rides are all down and the manager informed me that they don’t know if they’ll be up and running this year. I wish I had known this before I spent $84 coming in as I didn’t come for kiddie rides. Very dissatisfied.

They were great, I got to have questions answered in a timely manner, very detailed oriented and over all a great experience! Can’t wait for the next fair!
