East Village Tavern

Excellent atmosphere, excellent food. Classic bar food (burgers, chicken, wings, etc). Seems like they focus more on the food than other bar scenes. Service was a bit slow, but food was brought out timely and accurately. I HIGHLY recommend the pretzel bites as a starter. Wings were either 10 bone-in or 6 boneless. They allowed you to split it up for the flavor (example: 5 BBQ, 5 buffalo). EVT Burger was great too. I will 100% be coming back here.

We had the pain in my evt(4.5)and the cucumber blossom(3.5) drinks. The buffalo wings were dry and very little buffalo (2.5). The street tacos were dry and lacked flavor (1.5) the sliders were average (3). The reviews and pictures advertised definitely hype this place up. However it was a massive let down.

New outdoor area is great. Plenty of space and well lit for a late dinner meal. Had the fish and steak meals, both were delicious. Staff was attentive and even the owner was involved with our service, making sure we had an enjoyable experience. Will def be back.

What an amazing experience. My first time to craft 32. The servers were attentive and gave the best suggestions. The food was incredible. The salmon was cooked to perfection with the most amazing savory Cajun risotto I have ever had. There was great live music (friday) and such a pleasant atmosphere. I will 100% come back as soon as possible. New favorite spot

The food was solid and enjoyable, but the service was quite slow. We waited about half an hour for our meals while sitting on the patio, and when it came time to pay, we had to wait again. Eventually, I went inside myself to settle the bill. Overall, the food was good, but the service definitely needs improvement.

LOVE this place. Highly recommend for any day of the week. They have Thursday Trivia and a great atmosphere to relax and enjoy some amazing mixology and great cuisine with proper proportions, we always leave happy and full. I usually get the fish tacos but I tried the Salmon and my boyfriend tried the steak firtts. The new management is fantastic the place is a pleasure to visit!

I want to love this place but something is just holding it back, it's okay. You will definitely like it and not regret your visit! The service: we had the pleasure of meeting a partner of the upcoming East Village Tavern. He was attentive and pleasant. The staff were also helpful but seemed frazzled, perhaps they were down a server that night, the girl in our section seemed super busy. The bartender didn't put garnishes (cherry for a fruit drink and olives for a martini), no biggie. We ordered bone-in wings and got chicken tenders instead. It was the little things... The food: still remains imaginative, and hip. But other places that serve similar dishes use less fats and oils. The food here remains very heavy. It's very fatty and buttery which makes it taste amazing but really makes you sluggish. I wish they would cut back on the oil and butter a bit. And offer lighter options and dishes. The Ruben was great. Fries were thin and crispy, with the option of sweet potato and truffle fries. The highlight of our meal were the fried edamame that come with a spicy aioli sauce. We've never seen this done before, very creative and tasty. The atmosphere: remains pretty loud, the bar in the center creates a lot of noise that's hard to get away from as the booths are built around it. It's an impressive setup with the long bar but not too practical. Other restaurants sperate the bar and dining for a reason, so the dinners can have intimacy and quiet and the bar can be rowdy and fun. The place right now is sort of in-between a transition, turning from Craft 32 to East Village Tavern. So it's in a bit of a rough shape, walls are bare and unpainted. I hope to see the final product soon. They plan on building a big patio on the side.

My first time at this establishment. This was as a wonderful experience. Excellent service great food. The chef, Bryan, stopped by my table to ask if everything was to my satisfaction. Very impressive! The food was hot and freshly prepared! Thank you!! We’ll be back….

From the first step inside where I saw a few friends until the perfect espresso martini to top off a date night out, everything was to a tee! It was freezing out but very warm and comfortable inside, Brussels app prepared perfectly and our entrees delivered at just the right time, no waiting but not rushed either. Delicious, priced correctly for the quality and ambiance, and the staff is very consistent, friendly, and accommodating! A must stop during the week for a great experience

This is a place you come to when you have absolutely no time restrictions, and don't mind that it takes 45 minutes to get your food. When it's busy it gets really loud and hard to hear the people at the table. The food was just ok. Ordered the cod tacos and the corn tortilla was cold and it broke apart into pieces as I tried to lift the taco so I ended up having to eat it with a knife and fork. Also ordered wings and those were ok in taste but seemed overcooked as they weren't really moist. Service was good but they were definitely understaffed for the amount of people that were there. My overall feeling is that even though it wasn't terrible, it wasn't great either, don't know if I'd go back.

The restaurant was so fun to sit in. The lights around the bar are so much fun & extremely cozy. The food was good but I think you'll have to pick your entree wisely. The service was awesome and this seems to be a busy location and spot!

It's too small. You can't play what you want on the jukebox. Unfriendly staff. I went in at 11:45 on a Sunday night. At least 8 patrons on the bar. They didn't look like they were going anywhere. The barmaid said, "We're closing already. Yeah, 11:30 on Sunday night." Website says 12 AM. Not impressed. The Meadows was a much better East Longmeadow establishment. If Manny was still open he would bury this crap hole.

I have been to the EVT a few times and the service is always great! The food is generally really good. Tonight's dinner was exceptional. Had the special Baked cod with garlic fingerling potatoes & garlic broccoli. Great place to hang out with friends or a date & have a cold beer & good food.

Been here a few times. This is a good place to bring a friend or date for dinner. The venue is on the small side with tables lining the walls and a tavern-like bar at the center with a large draft beer selection. Because it's on the smaller side, the place can get quite loud when its busy. The food is average tavern restaurant fare, good but not fantastic. You'll be fine going here if you've been thinking about stopping in.

Stopped here for a quick bite to eat. Not a bad menu. Favorite bar foods. Prepared well and served hot. Drinks were good too. Bar is nice and they have Keno. The service was great. We would return for sure.

Been thinking about stopping into this spot for a while. Finally found the opportunity and made our way in. It's a typical pub style spot with a U-shaped bar with seating in addition to seating on the walls surrounding the bar area. They have a modest menu of food and good selection of beer on tap as well as other drink options. I orders the patty melt and she had the lobster roll. Her lobster roll was really good with the exception of the side of fries being over-salted. My patty melt was not so good, the burger actually had a burned taste and charred exterior. Ironically it was ordered med well but cooked to medium. The ladies working the bar and service were good and the spot has a cool vibe. Maybe I'll come back and try something else another time, the verdict is still out on this one. For now they get a middle of the road...

Everything here is ok, not world class, but more in line with pub grub. First impression, parking is almost impossible and they have a large lot, so the place is jumping busy. Good sign. We went inside and it looked like a considerable wait so we asked for outside seating and they seated us immediately. The beer list, it's good, it's extensive, another plus. I asked for the Frost Beer Works "Lush" and my wife had a red wine. The wine came right out, the Lush didn't. About 5 mins later I was told it kicked. Bummer. I'll take a Headway instead, came right out, crisp, cold, like beer should be. When I asked what replaced the kicked keg our server didn't know. Also a bummer, but overall she was good. We ordered apps, fried Brussels and calamari. Meh... the story of the night was ok, could be better. The Brussels were about 5 minutes away from being the right texture, a little under-cooked but the flavor was there. The calamari was fair, but the sauce with it was watered down. Again could've spend a few more minutes in the fryer. Salmon and Bolognese for the main course. The salmon was cooked well, came with the skin, I've seen it done this way and without, just posting for awareness if that's not your thing. Wife removed the skin and approved of the flavor, texture and degree to which it was cooked. The potatoes were hard, again under-cooked. The bolognese was cooked well, the right amount of sauce and cheese, some places overdo it. This was done right, I took some of it home and it was just as good on day 2. They don't skimp on portions here. So overall, food is fair, ambiance is fair more in line with a small bar/pub, and the service is good. The beer list is solid, and it's pretty easy to get to from almost everywhere. They are transitioning to a new name, not sure if it's a new owner, etc. that could explain some of what wasn't working. The problem with not be excellent is that there are so many other competing for your dollar that the first impression may be the only chance you have to win a new customer. We paid $150 with the tip for 2 apps, 2 meals and 2 glasses of wine and 2 craft drafts. We will probably wait until this place transitions completely before we offer it another shot at our business.

Parking lot was packed, so I wasn't sure I'd find a seat, but was seated at a table right away when I went in. Super cute place. Lots of sound dampening material in the ceiling and wooden walls, so even though the place was full, it wasn't crazy loud. Ordered the EVT burger which was AMAZING. Definitely way more than I expected out of this place. Burger and toppings were fresh. Bun was toasted and caramelized. The garlic aioli really made the burger for me. So tasty. Fresh cut French fries, garlicky pickle on the side. Truly delicious meal with prompt service. Absolutely recommend this place.

Great pub to grab some grub with friends or on date night. Always a good crowd of people on weekend nights. They have an outdoor patio if you would like to sit outside. They have a bunch of TV's if you're looking to watch a game, touch tunes jukebox is on to play tunes. The lasagna soup is delicious, and the burgers are great too. Staff is very friendly and attentive.

Eating here food was pretty good but the service sucked. Angie was our server and she never greeted us, you might wonder how i know her name, well the customer next to us got a greeting with her name. She took a long time to acknowledge us, she did not check on us when the food came, no drink refresher, and never asked if we wanted anything else before she laid the bill down. The first time and probably the last time. The ambiance is what you would expect for a place that is called a tavern.

The staff is wonderful, even on their busy nights they are very attentive! Went last night for the 2nd time and parking lot was packed! Thinking we would have to wait for a table we figured we would try but not the case, walked in and the owner or manager (not sure) had us seated right away! Nice cocktail and beer selections, my husband is obsessed with this German beer they have. I had a great dirty martini, very well made. We started with the Brussel sprouts, don't skip these!! They, along with the dipping sauce were amazing! We both had the steak frites which was cooked to perfection and instead of the frites they were kind enough to sub with a salad. It's a great atmosphere, nicely decorated and clean. So happy to have found this place!

This is quite easily the best restaurant in town. The decor and ambiance are very comfortable and inviting, the staff are beyond friendly and accommodating, tons of beer on tap, the menu is stacked and always changing and the food is AMAZING!!!

Have you ever heard of Craft 32 Restaurant in East Longmeadow? We stopped in last night with friends and kids for dinner. We had calamari for app and mozzarella sticks for kids. These arrived hot and the marina sauce was excellent! Sliders and Mac and cheese and kids were happy. Recommend the margaritas! Along with the short rib dinner and asparagus, and fish and chips. Guys had burgers and fries and everything was hot and served as ordered! Great food, great friends, great atmosphere here. We will certainly be returning again and again. Thank you Craft 32!

Amazing Ruben. Stoped by on a Saturday night for an early dinner the found was great and love the atmosphere!

Stopping in today for a reuben which has reliably good in the past.Bar was fairly busy,only one bartender/wait person seemed to be working.Stood by the door waiting to be seated,not noticed.Sat down across from bar's cash register.Still not noticed for another 10 minutes. Finally the waitress came over to take my order.A while later my sandwich was delivered,without my glass of wine. Reuben corned beef was very very dry,overcooked,saurcraut was barely present.When I finally got the waitress's attention to ask for my wine I receive an $8 glass of room temp white wine. 45 minutes,$25 later I should have gone to McD's.

Stopped in on a whim. 7pm on a Wed night. Place was dead. Food was decent. Wings were very good. Service was pretty good. The thing that kills this place is the atmosphere. If a restaurant could be a dorm room, this would be it! Looks nice from the road, but weeds, garbage and cigarette butts litter the front area. Inside the walls have holes, gouges, scuffs, all over the place, and decor is just a bunch of beer signs all over the walls. Bathroom had graffiti in the stall, and most of the staff was sitting at the back booth talking it up and socializing. It's just seems like no one cares about the appearance, and that it's just "good enough" for the cocktail crowd. Next time I might get some take out, but I'll be waiting in the car if I do. Good luck.

Names of drinks were so fun but they were all waterbed down food was just mediocre not disgusting but not the best. Also our food took awhile to come out. Nevertheless Atmosphere was good and our waiter Ryan was great!

We were excited to try this place last night as it's near the house and recently opened! We made a reservation for 8pm on a Saturday without any issue- we opted for an outdoor table. Servers are friendly and attentive. We started with the artisanal salad and lettuce wraps with shrimp. For entree we got the steak and pomme frites, and the fried chicken sandwich. The steak was good- came with an overwhelming amount of truffle fries that were Ok. The salad was also ok- lightly dressed greens but served with candied porcetta? No one should order the shrimp lettuce wraps - way too much of a sweet sauce and shrimp just didn't taste right. The friend chicken sandwich was inedible. Three stars for outdoor dining, friendly staff and the steak. Would definitely recommend sticking with apps or burger (bar food) at this place. Would come back for drinks a snack, but not a formal dinner

Been waiting to try this spot for a while now and my word patnah keeps blowing me off so I'm here by myself fixing to drop the hammer on one of their rueben sandwiches and fries. The sandwich was great, not too much meat and it was chopped up and mixed with sauerkraut and thousand island dressing making it easy to eat. The fries were delicious and the service was fantastic. Parking is easy in and easy out with two separate entrances. Would like to try one of their burgers next.

Matty is the best. Great owner. Food is good prices of drinks on the high side. Parking sometimes a challenge.

Eh. Came here for brunch one morning and it was meh. I got the breakfast tacos and they were mediocre. Their house sauce was sickly sweet on top of the tacos. I wish it was just a chipotle sauce or even no sauce at all. Wife said French toast was mediocre. Not the best, not the worst. Will come and try dinner sometime just to see if that experience is better, but overall brunch was just OK.

Was Craft 32, changing name to East Village, possibly with the word Tavern if town regs allow that. I kept looking for staff to change to East Village People outfits. Where's the Indian chief? I guess they can't get them since the Costume Closet, a couple miles away, was closed by the Spears. Parking is really bad on a busy night at this spot. Leave your giant pickup truck at home! So far the interior looks the same as a few yrs ago - nothing wrong with it. I hope they don't change the walls to the '80s fake brick look with random garbage on them (they aren't antiques!) like at other places decor from the last century. I ate a few things. I had an app called the meat lover's flatbread ($15). Think of it as a decent-tasting, small cheese pizza with microscopic bits of meat. Area CSI teams are still trying to find the bacon bits. I also had a hamburg ($14) that was very good. Service was really good too. The mostly female bartenders were very quick and knew what they were doing. The one male bartender could've been in that old Comcast internet commercial with the Slowskys, the 2 turtles that were soooo slow. He mostly chatted with certain bar patrons and took forever to make each drink, as though each one would be memorialized forever on various media sites, if only any photographers would take a picture. Maybe he's the owner, hence the skull resemblance to Jeff Bezos, and the casual attitude.

This is a great spot, a huge difference compared to previous restaurants at this location over the years. A wide variety for a menu and it's very creative as well. Well rounded drink meadow and they have seasonal specials. We will be coming back.

East Village Tavern has the Best Chicken and Waffles I have ever had and there vegetable omelette is absolutely amazing and wash it down with a nice Mamosa. It's a good start to anyone's day.4 Star all day long

A nice pub! Excellent brunch, good service, clean. The steak and eggs comes with a nice thick steak and the hash benny is yummy! We will be back.

Overall a nice place! Sat at the bar with friends, prompt service, great bartenders. The wings and the spinach artichoke dip are definitely things to order!

Just left, was seated at the bar for about 40 minutes. The bartender that was serving us completely ignored us and multiple other parties and just sat and talked to another couple. The people next to us came in after our we got our first drink and left after 10 minutes because no one waited on them. The other bartender was running around trying to cover the entire bar. When our appetizer came out the bartender waiting on us didn't remember where it went, and she never returned after 20 minutes to ask if we were going to order more. Left completely irritated and without ordering entree's. Complete waste of an evening out with my wife...I've never had such horrible service. Never got the bartender's name, but we will NEVER visit this establishment again.

Drinks were awesome, delicious and pretty! Food was okay! Got the fried chicken dinner and vegan cactus tacos looked like it was going to be phenomenal but unfortunately very bland in flavor. Especially the chicken, it was super tender and perfect crisp but no seasoning or anything to make it stand out but will definitely try to come here again

Came back to my hometown of EL after several years away and was pleasantly surprised to see a few new restaurants. My mom and I stopped in for dinner on a Wednesday night. It was pretty slow but the service was great. The staff were friendly, quick and attentive. Plenty of craft beer to choose from and a pretty extensive menu for a small town. Food and drinks were great! Perfectly sized portions - not too big but not too small. Would recommend!

Elevated bar food. Excellent service. Very good beer and drink menu. Wish the space was a bit more welcoming. Spend a few bucks and repaint the walls and take down all the tin signs that cheapen the feel.

Everywhere else was booked up in Valentine's Day so my husband and I ended ip here. the food was not great wuality and tje service was a hit scattered (it was busy so I get beingrga little off your game). I wouldn't go back again personally

Went there Saturday night. Party of 6. Our waitress was Amber. Service was fantastic and food was awesome. Young, local vibe. Live music started at 8pm and we had a wonderful time. Great brew selection and fun cocktails.

Stumbled on this restaurant and turned out they had a brunch menu only during this time. Ordered the $20 Chicken and Waffles because it had been a while since I had some good chicken and waffles. I would have to wait till another day to get some good chicken and waffles. It was uninspired and overpriced. The chicken was very thin curly strips. The waffles were nothing special. The coffee was meh too, served in a weird glass cup. Really wanted to like this place but could have done better by going to KFC and getting a box of Eggo waffles. Atmosphere seemed alright for what that is worth.

What took me so long to try this place? The menu was interesting without being too overwhelming. Service was wonderful. Drinks were well crafted. My only suggestion us get rid of the high tops and put in more booths. High tops are not comfortable if you're short or over 50. I will be back (but I'll ask for a booth :-)

We got take out and we were really excited about it based off the items on the menu. Unfortunately the food looked better in the pictures than it tasted. I got the pasta entree and the only flavors to be found was salt and garlic. Definitely could have used a few more spices and flavors. The fried chicken was also very bland and it was the type of fried chicken cutlet that belongs on a sandwich- definitely not what we were expecting when ordering a fried chicken entree. The staff was really nice when I went to pick up the food which is why I give the rating of 2 stars. Hopefully that was just an off night, but I don't think we will be returning.

The server was very nice but also the only one on. We didn't order food as service was slow. We ordered two margaritas and it was only tequila and lime juice. Couldn't drink it.

Chicken and steak tacos were great. The chips appetizer was hot and extremely flavorful. Our server was attentive and helpful in suggesting food for us. The bartenders know what they are doing with their signature cocktails. We will definitely be back for more. I recommend making reservations for dinner because the restaurant is large but with covid requirements the spots fill quickly!

Can i just say how AMAZING this place is every time i go in? I wouldn't say I'm a regular but i live in the area and this is one of my favorite places to eat out when I'm able. Today i ordered a Ruben to go. It was SLAMMEDDD there. While i waited they offered me a drink on the house! I've never had service that good before and was definitely wowed! The manager herself deserves 5 stars as well

Have been here on two separate occasions, and will say the service and food have been outstanding!!! The first instance, we came 30 minutes before closing, yet they still were happy to quickly serve us despite their kitchen prepping to close. The food was delicious, so we came again within just two weeks. Cozy interior, beautiful plating, and unique tasty food. They do have a smallish menu which I'm sure helps them focus on the quality of each dish. Will be a regular in the future. Keep up the great work!

It hurts me to give a 4 out of a 5 because the food was beyond amazing. However, we were greeted at the front door by a bartender who told us they were understaffed and she didn't really know how to help us get seated. We e def up deciding to wait around until something opened up because I've heard such good review of this restaurant. We ended up sitting at the bar and the same bartender eventually came up to us and wiped down the counter. We sat there for a little while before we were asked what we would like to drink etc. While we waited we noticed someone walk in and not be greeted for at least 10 minutes. I'm not sure if people called out or what happened but it seemed to be a semi organized chaos. When we got our lettuce cups (beef ones) for an appetizer, we were instantly amazed at how delicious they were. The bartender recommended the salmon and I ended up ordering it. Well, that was the best entree i have had in a very long time. It was so good !!! Not overcooked salmon and the middley ( i think that's what it was called) tasted amazing This restaurant has great food that is so unique and fresh. However, the service needs a little fine tuning. I plan to visit again and hopefully update tis review to 5 stars.

We arrived at about 1:00. The restaurant was almost empty. We were greeted promptly and given menus. The server was well versed and answered our questions about the menu. Pleasant decor and dining experience. All of us thought our food was excellent. I had the ropa vieja tacos. They were delicious, but the tacos were tiny. I was still hungry when I finished. My companions had the fried chicken sandwich and the grilled tuna wrap. Both were large and served with fries. The fries were excellent! We will definitely return.

Unfortunately out of stock on any cheese except Swiss, and same with most of the bourbon. Perhaps it was the recent St Patrick's holiday, but so be it. Ordered Tina poke which was warm had gone sour. Beer choices were good and the service decent although a little overwhelmed - 1 server for the whole place

Amazing food & the menu has something for everyone. Bar staff and wait staff are always attentive & friendly. Drinks are tasty & fun as well, def give it a try if you haven't

Lovely chill vibe, solid food (from what we ordered off the brunch menu) and decent beer list. So often brunch is overdone and pretentious, this was as relaxed as a sunday should be... will repeat next time I am in springfield.
