I never really get to use these words so here it goes. Truely a hidden gem! The vibes are amazing, the drink and food menu are both creative and executed at high levels. Staff are actually FUN! I also appreciate the extensive N/A menu. You must try the smoked pastrami, pork belly burnt ends plus the pit beans, you are welcome for this pro tip. Brisket is good and done at a technical high level, combo platter is definitely the way to go. This is the type of place you've passed by a million times and never knew what you were missing. If you want a chill laid back down to earth bar that not only cares about you and their staff. Don’t go to boozys across the street!! The atmosphere has a wonderful tropical Asian Pacific Islander vibe with a nice Hawaiian aesthetic touch I was looking for to make my rainbow paradise cocktail for my birthday on pride month! Barbara was the first best bartender I ever had and was able to make my drink VERY DELICIOUS. House of shamrocks kicked me out for being black and a pokemon player. Boozys had an average ghetto atmosphere with some random jealous black girl cursing next to my ear with smelly seafood im allergic to. Boozys couldn’t make my drink but Barbara mastered it with not even with the right ingredients!! She mastered the flavor and technique of my Tiger fursonas tropical drinks and actually made my dreams and pride month come true! Making it a very special day of my last days of the heatwaves in June! If you like rock or anything and anything Japanese Korean or Asian related go there! James has been trying to make it a Pokémon stop and he actually did! Can’t wait to try the barbecue next night Barbara when I saw the lotus flavor I got really excited because you guys have the perfect pokestop for me to get some Korean barbecued beef! I LOVE IT HERE AND TARO THE BANTAM GUAR BAKER WILL DEFINITELY BE COMING BACK TOMORROW! I made friends with not just 2 of the customers but Barbara the bartender as well! BLOOD ISN’T THICKER THAN WATER AND YOU WILL DEFINITELY FIND BEAUTIFUL WATERY BAR TABLES THERE! A perfect bar for water Pokémon lures! And I’m dying for Karaoke night! Unlike grass lures for shamrock for people who get way too drunk and rude to people tying to talk to the manager pretending they work there when their drinking.

Definitely will return, all you can eat brunch…everything was good & Most importantly it was clean.

Lemme start by saying exceptional service across the board. Drinks, food, attentiveness, speed, & the best part is they will make you feel like you’ve been friends for your whole lives. PLUS every bartender absolutely KILLS karaoke. Highly highly highly recommend this for your fun night out. Plus Sierra is hilarious so that is a huge bonus.

Went for karaoke night with some friends, we had a lot of fun! It was fairly busy but there was a lot of open space. It took a long time to get service and drinks came out slowly, even the simple drinks like vodka & water. The food was …. Not great. We ordered ribs brisket greens and beans. The ribs and the brisket were kind of tough and tasted like the only seasoning was black pepper. The greens were the same way, way too much pepper. I love spice, I love a seasoned food! But ya gotta give me something more than just black pepper.

I came out for my birthday, had a party , had a blast . Love the people & the atmosphere! New fav spot . Can’t wait until I check out karaoke night . Food was also bombbbb

This is a quirky tiki bar with cabana style seating for your group, full bar and a bbq joint, take out style(it's hot), pool, skeeball, pinball, janga, connect four. Go see Molly at the bar! Lions games watch party on the projection screen every game!

We feel extremely lucky to have eastern palace club as our neighborhood bar. The drinks are always fabulous, the atmosphere is so fun, and every employee is so incredibly kind. If youre hungry, definitely stop by smoked lotus which is a bomb BBQ place inside the bar. Such a great establishment!

Fun atmosphere for sure, decorated like you're in Key West & the air-conditioning inside is on high- I was freezing. The staff were awesome by the way, super attentive, kind and sweet. But...I'm really sorry, the drinks were way too sweet (I even asked for less sweet in my House Margarita) and the Old Fashioned was just okay-also too many small cubes of ice. We ended up moving outside as they have a decent size patio to warm up and enjoy the sunshine. Glad we tried it out as it seems like a fun place. Plenty of parking on their lot and it seemed like multiple people were coming for the BBQ which is also located here.

This was our first time here, the impetus of which being a friend of my husband was playing an exotica music set there, this evening. Roland Remington is worth the trip! But it is kind of a cool place, not quite a tiki bar per se, more of a tiki VFW hall atmosphere. The tables were crowded, the chair mismatched and full of the cigarette burns of yesterday. And it was oddly bright. The staff was all friendly and nice, but the crowd was kind of a mixed bag; stoic, bordering on gruff. A few people were laid back and cool, but it was a very clique-y scene. I enjoyed the drinks, but they were not the most inventive tiki cocktails I've had. All in all, it was an interesting experience, and I would probably go back if there was an event that piqued my interest, but it wouldn't be my usual hang-out.

They have nailed the camp tiki aesthetic in the most perfect way possible. Sierra is a fabulous bartender/server and I couldn't get enough of the vibes. officially this location doesn't have a kitchen, but food is on offer from smoke Lotus barbecue next-door but you don't actually have to walk outside to get it; it's a business within a business (or so always to be). 10/10 wholeheartedly recommend! Will be back.

Fun tiki themed bar. Came out for the Happy Ending Dance Party. Appreciate a bar that free pours the drinks and makes a great gin and soda.

Went for Happy Hour this week, got some great beachy drinks for inexpensive. If you join their rewards membership program thing, you get a double discount for Happy Hour! Highly recommend the Rum Bucket or the Rum Runner. Also amazing that they have mocktails for the folks who don't drink, especially since I'm seeing more and more people taking a break from booze. I love this place, and plan on taking advantage of having a fun new bar in the area. Great, unique theme and wonderful staff!

EPC is new to the bar scene. We were excited to stop in for an Always Sunny in Philadelphia spin off celebration. This place is over the top cool and the drinks were fantastic. They have fun events planned for the summer; I would most certainly add them to your list of must stop bars on your itinerary.

I have wandered into this fine establishment on My various raccoon themed travels multiple times. It is a riveting experience, if not a little haphazardly thrown together. The staff, on the three or so occasions i have wagged my tail through here, are kind, cordial, and quick to explain the rules! I am not much of a drinker, but the offerings of succulent barbecue were enough to get my tail wagging. However, the food part is very confusing. The BBQ stand is not actually apart of the tiki bar; it is its own business tucked in an awkward corner away from all of the tiki assortment. Unfortunately, I must declare that the folks working the BBQ side of the establishment do not have the same wonderful demeanor that the Tiki Bar staff does. I and multiple other guests were slightly accosted for asking for substitutions or information as to what items are included with our order.

A.W.E.S.O.M.E. Our gaggle of girls celebrated a birthday here last week and we had a fabulous time - excellent well crafted cocktails - smashing service - we even got BBQ from the Smoked Lotus - a great night with great friends! I'd go back - I like that there's a parking lot.....haha... you can tell when an old bitch is writing a review when the place is a plus because it has a parking lot.... hahaha... go go go try this place.... you will like

We really enjoyed this place. We sat outside on the patio and it was really nice. The smoked meats were great, try the pastrami, it was incredible. They kept bringing us out samples to try which was a nice touch. Parking was across the street.

We unfortunately came on a day of heavy rain and the lobby was flooded when we got there, though the staff worked quickly to clean it up. The ambiance was delightful with straw huts and shuffleboard. most tiki drinks are a little sweet for my taste, but the Grouper was a very well balanced bourbon cocktail that hit the spot.

This place is pretty cool. The drinks were good and I like all the post cards on the walls. I went for an art thing so it's was mostly us in there.

Had my Birthday party here and I couldn't have asked for a better location! Me and my guests were super happy with the food, drinks, service, and ambience. Eastern Palace Club is the perfect place to host big get togethers. There's plenty of room and games, definitely a unique experience for you and your friends. We'll definitely be back!!!

The food and drinks are great, but the people and the vibe are BETTER! A great place to meet up with friends and have a drink. :)

Great new addition to the Park!!! Lots of mocktails and boat drinks that are reasonably priced . You can see the attention to detail with the Key West and Tiki Theme. A large selection of botttled beers and rum punches. I liked the cute cabana booths . I ordered a mocktail that was amazing and a Mezcal cocktail. They do not serve food , but will be bringing in food trucks soon and have the Smoked Lotua BBQ in house to order from. This place is off the beaten path, but a super quick walk or bike ride from Ferndale ! I can't wait to try more drinks soon what a cool atmosphere !!

A bit kitschy, but cute. The service is phenomenal, everyone is friendly and seems to enjoy their jobs and you can tell! Had the sangria which was good and not overly sweet. Definitely would come back.

The vibe is awesome. My girl and I just happen to notice it while driving and decided to spot and I'm glad we did. The drinks were amazing and the price wasn't unreasonable. The employees were super nice and they seemed very happy working there. Definitely will be back since we are so close. They also have food there it's basically a food truck with out wheels and omg some of the best BBQ ever. If you go get the pig Candy you will not be disappointed.

Just visited EPC this evening. My new favorite place for a drink with friends or family. Delicious drinks, super fun decor, cool games and incredibly friendly staff. The word charming comes to mind. Delightful experience. Too hot for the patio today but can't wait to visit again and sit outside. Such a cool and wonderful little oasis on a hot day. Will be wonderfully warm and cozy in cooler months too. Super impressed! Can't wait to introduce more friends to this total gem right in our general neighborhood. Tiki bar goodness!

Came here for my buddys engagement party and I'll have to tell ya it's a pretty cool place. Didn't stay for long but the Smokehouse connected to it inside smelt and looked pretty good. I'll have to come here hungry next time. Kinda ate beforehand because from what I found it was just a tiki bar that served drinks. Crowd seemed pretty chill no matter who walked through the doors and the staff were very cool as well. Pool table looked even and clean also so next time I'll come dressed to play some stick.

Old name, new spot! This place is an amazing vibe, great people there to host you, amazing drinks and food (courtesy of Smoked Lotus BBQ) and best of all, inclusive af! Best new spot in town, hope they're here to stay!!!

Great tiki drinks (been here twice so far and they were great!) and bar staff super cool. Wonderfully chill/fun place to hang a get a drink or two... and they have Simpson's pinball! Nice to see the tiki in Hazel Park.

I get that someone wanted to do a tiki bar in Hazel Park, untapped real estate, but this place is certainly lacking. Upon first impressions, it looks like a KFC hall that someone decorated with a beach/tiki theme for a 40th birthday party. Too much space with little ambiance. Also, sitting at the bar you look straight into the men's bathroom. Doors not included? The drinks were too sweet and I didn't even finish mine which is saying a lot for $14 bucks! I get that times are hard for restaurants and bars but you're not going to keep people coming back for those prices and the lack luster first impressions. I really wanted this to be a cool hang out but I'll pass on going back.

This place is SO cute and fun!! We had an amazing waitress and great service. However, the music is absolutely terrible, and sitting in a hut is quite cold. I put money in the juke box and nothing ever played. They basically played jazz or sad, depressing music the entire time. Other than the music-this place is great!

When we walked we didn't expect much, the place looked like a bar that I didn't think would have very good bbq. We ordered 2 tri meat combos and they were delightful, the service was also amazing and the all around vibe was great. 5/5 stars this place will definitely be on my top 3 best bbq in Michigan.

Good barbecue at Smoked Lotus especially the baked beans and brisket. Good place to drink and dance.The DJs are awesome at new wave night and the vibes are great. The bartenders are friendly and the drinks are fairly priced.

Best Tiki Bar, ambiance and staff! The cabana's are cozy and the open space and games are great for large parties!
