"This is one of Newport’s most popular beaches (which means you’ll be braving the crowds) but it’s a worthwhile stop if you’re traveling with kids for its playground, old-school merry-go-round, dime-size aquarium, Del’s Lemonade (an RI classic), and lobster rolls at the snack bar. There are better swimming holes, but Newport’s only ocean beach boasts the most attractions."

This is the best lobster rolls I have ever tasted! The simplicity of the rolls makes it stellar. The fries were not greasy. The buns were toasted with butter perfectly. The lobster meat were tender and FRESH. The employee at the counter was friendly and our food came out promptly. Lastly, the signs were helpful because we were planning to eat out but realized that the seagulls may attack the food.🤣 Nevertheless, I highly RECOMMEND to get these when in Newport!!

Being a foodie, restaurants and great food are the first few things I always look up before traveling somewhere. I saved up Easton's Beach Snack Bar in my list when we finally drove from NYC to Newport this past weekend. We were allowed early check in at our hotel so we were able to make it a Cliff Walk + beach day right on day 1. After completing that famous walk, we finally headed to the snack bar. Social distancing and masks strictly enforced which is very much appreciated. Got the twin lobster rolls for almost $18 which came with fries while hubby got the $19+ plain lobster roll with drawn butter. WOW. Expectations met and exceeded! These were both incredibly delicious! The bun was toasted perfectly and still warm, the lobster so fresh and delicious, and the mayo was balanced, not overpowering! The fries were also so good! And I normally don't even eat a lot of fries. What also adds up to the experience is the view of the whole beach. So so worth it. We loved it so much we decided to go back and make it our last meal before we drove back to NYC. This time though I also wanted to try the clam strips and I will say my only regret is not trying these on day 1 because I loved every bit of it and would have happily indulged in more! I guess there's a reason to come back again soon, Newport!

Loved this local beach restaurant, located at First Beach. The Lobster Roll sandwiches are very tasty. Don't drive by without trying this sandwich combo with French fries. (2 sandwiches and fries for $28.48 (w/tax and 10% tip). Order then they give you a pager, that notifies you your order is ready. Very quick service and nice deck with great views of the beach, surf and Atlantic Ocean. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommended!!

Lobster Roll to Dive Into! The Plain and Simple Lobster roll is fantastic!! We have been sampling rolls around the area and this is by far the best!! So much tail and claw meat with a great toasted roll and a generous amount of butter. The price is great, the crew at the snack bar is friendly and efficient, and the chance to eat this delight while sitting on a beautiful beach is unsurpassed--if you don't try this sandwich--you are missing out!

What a surprising gem where we thought we would find a "tourist trap" kind of restaurant. The sans mayo lobster roll was excellent. The lobster was super fresh and skillfully de-shelled to be delicately put together for this lobster roll. The fried clams strip basket was huge and really tasty! I was sad it didn't come with fries but I could barely finish the basket anyway! I was a bit disappointed a regular sized water bottle was $2.75 because that just seemed absolutely absurd but I suppose out of necessity it's what it is. Other than that, we loved eating along the dock next to the beach/ocean. Very beautiful views with a pretty nice lunch!

The staff are wonderful - all smiles and very helpful. Perfect. The seating on the deck is not comfortable, stools instead of chairs. I guess they want it to be uncomfortable so you eat quickly and leave. As for the lobster rolls... I've never had lobster rolls before. If these are "the best," then it is probably wise for human beings to avoid eating lobster rolls altogether. That's not a criticism of the snack bar, but of the concept of a lobster roll. There are so many great ways to have lobster, and the "lobster roll" presentation is not one of them.

What a nice friendly place! The host was so helpful and friendly. The lobster roll was to die for! You get a chunk of lobster on every nite and my husband love that! The price was quite cheaper than I was expecting to pay so the trip to this shack was worth it.

The best lobster roll we had in all of Newport and the most affordable too. Two lobster rolls and fries, on the beach, for just $16.87. Don’t waste your time going to a sit down restaurant paying that price for one. Enjoy the sunshine and the waves with Easton.
