Dumpling Daughter to Expand to Brookline From Weston and Cambridge | Eater Boston

"After closing its original Braintree shop, the owner reflected on how that little location taught him a lot about himself and what he’s capable; the Revere counterpart remains open and the business plans to expand to Everett, with the Braintree shop having first opened in late 2011 and Revere joining in September 2017." - Dana Hatic

Google
What a great surprise to bump into Easy Pie! Family was starving after a flight in to Boston- on our way up to Maine, we found this great little spot. Food was great, but the star of the show was our server, Jessica! Great service, and such kindness… what a gem! We ordered the Boom Boom Chicken sandwich with fries (perfectly light and crisp) and the Thai salad. Both excellent. Compliments to the chef! Oh and that giant tater tot- a must try! So tasty! Great visit and happy we found it!

I hosted a surprise party here over the weekend in the back patio area for 30 people. I was pleasantly surprised but how private and quiet the back patio is considering it is right off a main road! I worked directly with Domenica to setup a menu ahead of time and it went great, everyone loved the food and the atmosphere of the private space. The waiters and bartenders all did a great job helping us with whatever we needed during the event. I would definitely recommend for an event or stop buy for lunch/dinner. Thank you Easy Pie!

OMG! I was never treated so well like I was today! Michelle is an amazing server, so friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. My mom has a severe seafood allergy, and at most restaurants we have to adapt every dish, but not at Easy Pie! They made everything so easy and safe for her, and that meant so much to us. The food? Absolutely delicious! I was so excited to find sweet pizzas (something I’ve only ever seen at Brazilian pizzerias) and they were incredible! We also tried the Honey Bee Tots (HUGE and sooo good!). My brother got a sub, I had the chicken parm, and my dad went for the tacos, and everything was perfect. We’re so happy to have found a place like this (even if it’s a two-hour drive from home!). Totally worth the trip, can’t wait to come back! 🍕💛

Easily one of my favorite pizza places ever! Such unique options and they have more than just pizza too! Everything was so amazing and our waitress Tara was amazing as well. Cannot recommend this place enough!!

We visited this place on our way to Maine from Boston Airport. This place is just beside the road beside a Harley-Davidson showroom. Here is my review of my experience for a quick bite here: 1) Ambiance 5/5: This has a quirky vibe with open metallic structures. This looks like a place where the cool kids would hang out on a weekend to get drinks. The place has a lot of incoming sunlight and a bar on site. The menu is also creative with movie-named dishes which was a delight to read. 2) Service 5/5: The service was quick and delightful. They also helped us with suggestions on dishes since I was looking for some vegetarian options and also helped customize a burger where we did not want steak. 3) Food 4/5: Here is the summer of the food we had: a) Zorba: The "healthy" spinach pizza was good but it was not very salty and the small pizza felt less for a single person as I felt hungry within an hour b) Dazed n Confused: I believe we had this burger without hamburger. The chicken was a little rubbery and I wasn't a fan of their mac n cheese addition to it. The presentation was good though. c) I do not remember the salad we had but it was good. 4) Value for Money 4/5: This place is not cheap so the stuff we had was good value but not a great value. Our total for 4 people was around $80. In summary, worth a try on a weekend for the vibe and quirky quick bites with a little cash in your pocket. The Good: 1) Vibe 2) Quirky names and burger presentation Not so Good: 1) Price

Great Place! Anthony was our server (sorry if I forgot the right name) He's definitely worth all you're paying him and likely more! Kids loved it too! Great food. If we are ever back in the area we will come again!

Google
I haven’t been in this area in some time, I moved south and just got back. today’s stop in Revere was the perfect welcome back. Anthony is an amazing server, great vibes, great and honest recommendations. He welcomes you with the biggest, warmest smile. The music and atmosphere are upscale with jazz and instrumentals and dimmed lights. Even the menu and marketing is top notch. There’s so much attention to detail. The food is delicious, prompt, and the portions are more than reasonable. 10/10 recommend Try the gangsta tots, fully loaded pizza!! And idk how but that was delicious water- maybe it was the rum bottle!

Yelp
So nice inside. The girl at the counter was super friendly and helped me decide on what Tots I was going to get .I got the "OG gangsta" it was a huge tot covered in crispy bacon, scallions, sour cream. I was shocked at how good it was legit cooked perfectly crispy. We also got a cheese pizza well done. That could not have been any more perfect. I'm so glad we finally got a chance to come here.

Yelp
Are here for a company dinner and had a great time. Kinda an open restaurant, they had a side that was open, had a bar. I got the Pineapple Express and it was very tasty, good portions, they look small but sure do fill you up. A couple people got sandwiches and they are pretty large. Service was great as well.

Yelp
Can't believe it took so long for me to come here. This has the trifecta: convenient location with ample parking, good prices, and delicious options you won't find anywhere else. As someone who can't eat cooked tomatoes, I sometimes struggle with offerings at pizza places but had a ton of options here. We got the Booming System and it looked like a salad on top of a pizza, but tasted like a revelation. The crust was especially great. Now I want to try their other specialty pies!

Yelp
Pizzas are unreal, definitely two meals in one!Love the open atmosphere as well as the laid back vibe

Yelp
I loved my experience here, this place was so nice and welcoming, they have a back patio that isn't visible from the front and it is such a vibe back there beautifully done and just so pleasant inside too. The food was excellent and everything on the menu is fairly priced and well done to me. The service was above and beyond our waiter was so nice and accommodating the entire time! I loved my time here. Will definitely be back to try other things

Yelp
There was an issue with DoorDash that could have easily resulted in Easy Pie cancelling my order, but they went above and beyond to contact me on the phone and get it sorted out and get the food sent over to me. The food was delicious. Give them a shot

Yelp
Located off of Route 1, right by the Harley store, there is ample parking for the restaurant. There is indoor and outdoor seating (although there tend to be a lot of bugs outside). I first visited Easy Pie in 2021, based on the rave reviews of my friend who is gluten free. They have gluten free crusts, which can be used with the savory and sweet pizzas. There are QR codes on the table for the menu. However, the code didn't work and we were given paper menus. The paper menus had all of the prices crossed out, as well as several menu items. Both on my recent visit, and my previous visit, I ordered a Gangstah Tot, sans bacon. The tot was delicious and the only thing I would recommend. I originally had ordered the Boston Common salad. It sounded delicious and at first looked delicious. However, as I began to eat it , I realized that a large amount of the lettuce was wilted and slimy. I ended up asking to get something else and the salad was taken off my bill (albeit no discount for the inconvenience/having to wait for a new dish). I also ordered the peanut butter cup sweet pie both this time and my first time. It's loaded with toppings but the crust is blah. I tend to scrape off the toppings and just eat them. My friend who has Celiacs ordered a sweet pie with just Nutella. They charged her the full price for a Chocolate Thunder plus the extra $3 for Nutella- so she ended up paying $19 (pre-tax) for a pizza crust with Nutella. When she asked the waitstaff about this, it was evident they didn't care about the ridiculousness of the price. Our waitress seemed to be new, but was friendly. The other waitress she turned to for help was the one who was indifferent to the price. After this visit, I have no desire to return to Easy Pie, and do not recommend the restaurant to others.

Yelp
Food service amazing. Upbeat with music. Buff/ chic pizza. Tater tots. THE BOMB!!! Check out dessert pizzas to wow. Drove from Peabody. Will definitely put this place in my fav. AA

Yelp
Good friends recommended this place to us. We live in Malden and Neapoli's is our go to. They happened to be closed so we decided to give them a try. My husband did the ordering and selected three pies - antico for no, basilica and one other. They were all good, very complex and competing flavors and textures. I'm all about experimenting, and this menu is quite creative. Delivery was quick and easy and the food was of good quality. Pricing was a little high for my taste, so I am.not sure this would be on our regular rotation, but I would try it again.
google avatar

Yelp
This is my neighborhood staple. Burgers, chix sandwiches, pizza it does not matter, everything is always delicious. My husband and I are here 1x weekly and we've never had a bad experience. As a self proclaimed foodie, Easy Pie is where it is at for american bar food in a hip scene with excellent service and diverse local beer and bar options. The patio is a vibe nestled off of a convenient location off of route one. Worth every penny time and time again. Thank you to Dominca, Deina, and BOH who make EP what it is!

Yelp
Got the Verona pizza. Best decision I've ever made. It was alfredo, broccoli, chicken, and cheese pizza! Crust was thin and crunchy; I loved it! They have a cute outdoor patio area with a bar but it was a bit to cold for me, so I stayed inside. Steak Quesadilla wasn't the greatest but the pizza pie made up for it. Bar tender is super friendly! Wish I got her name but we came the night of Oct 29th at 8PM. Great spot to pregame in Malden. Highly recommend if your a pizza lover.

Yelp
Crazy pizza options!! Really cool spot inside with light up signs and table set up. Service was good when we went and was very busy. Perfect spot for sports fans to grab and bite and watch the game. And the left overs were perfect for breakfast the next day.
google avatar

Yelp
I went on a Wednesday at 5pm. It was a beautiful day to sit on the patio which is a decent size. Ordered the sweet chili chicken small pizza. It was good but could have been great if they added the sweet chili sauce drizzled on top as well. The sweet potato fries were too salty for me but otherwise were great. The peanut butter cup dessert pizza was way too much nutter butter- literally couldn't taste any of the peanut butter sauce or Nutella or Reese's cups. I think the desserts would be way better if you could order just a slice since it's just too rich as a whole pie. I would definitely love to try more of their menu but I don't recommend getting dessert here unless they start offering them by the slice. The waitress was super nice and made sure we were always tended to.

Yelp
First time coming here thanks to a tiktok recommendation. We came right after they opened on a Sunday and were met with friendly staff ready to serve us. The servers double as bartenders so they're constantly on the move, but that didn't stop our server from checking in on us often and keeping our drinks filled. The Boston Common is probably my favorite salad at the moment. The dressing is *chefs kiss* and I could see myself coming back for the salad alone. We also ordered the Last Dragon and it was perfection from the flavor profile to the crispy crust. I saw a lot of reviews saying the crust wasn't good and I hope those people come back because they've perfected the crust. Cool vibes in the restaurant and good music (I'm old so I appreciated it wasn't too loud) rounded out the dining experience. I will absolutely be back next time I'm in the area.

Yelp
How did I not know this place existed?!? I ordered off or grubhub, and I can't wait to go to the restaurant. I was immediately won over based off the fact that they have a Thanksgiving style pizza. If there's anything with turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, gravy, and corn, I AM IN! The fact that this place has a pizza version almost made me cry tears of joy. It was everything that I could have Imagined, and I am addicted. A small pizza was plenty for me to have left overs for the next day because the toppings were packed on there, like a pie and it was reasonably priced at less than $15! Can't wait to eat my way through their menu.
google avatar

Yelp
Was doing work training in the area and stopped here for lunch. I was a bit disappointed they called themselves 'Easy Pie' and didn't sell meat pies of any kind. However I got a burger I forget the name of it had an egg on it. It was fantastic but after tax and tip I paid $23 total and I only got 6 onion rings. I was disappointed at the portion size but the food was good.
google avatar

Kelly P.

Yelp
Always order through Uber Eats but the pizza is always so perfect. The Pineapple Express and Bel Giardino are my favorites. The Fully loaded is also great! I always go for the small because it's more crispy. The Mac Daddy wasn't my favorite because there are too many pickles and not enough sauce to balance out the sourness & with the lettuce topping, it's a no-go for leftovers. They also have the BEST onion rings ever! Seriously the best!
google avatar

Marni M.

Yelp
They are not kidding when they say gourmet pizzas. Each slice is like a meal of its own. My friends and I have been ordering from here for the past 2 years and have yet to be disappointed. Both their burgers and pizzas are monstrous portions. This will definitely satisfy any hearty cravings you may have. Our go-to pizzas are the sweet chili bang, Shepard's pie, and recently the fully loaded pizza. But don't forget their sweet pizzas too (s'mores)! They are far from the traditional tomato sauce with cheese. Dough is chewy and on the thinner side which works well with the plethora of toppings. A little pricy but given the quantity it's well worth it. Haven't had an issue with the service either. Will always come back for when I'm treating myself.
google avatar

Lourdes J.

Yelp
At a place like this you either go big or go home and we went BIG! To start we had to get the Queen Bee Monstah Tot and O. M. G. When I tell you it was gone in 2 minutes I am not kidding! This smashed potatoes turned into a tot is topped with sweet and flavorful honey mustard chicken, crispy bacon, cheddar jack cheese, caramelized onions, and topped with MORE honey mustard. Every bite was delicious! Now for the main event: The Last Dragon Pizza (aka their pu pu platter pizza)! Everything you want in a pu pu platter you'll get on a pizza! Fried rice, egg rolls, spare ribs, fried chicken, teriyaki beef, finished off with scallions and duck sauce. I mean HELLO!? It could not get any better!! It's their pizza with the most toppings so if you like to share, it's highly recommended! Overall great staff, and great food!
google avatar

Mary D.

Yelp
Ummmm, NO. First time here bc it was on my way home. If you're from MA, like me, its not the quality we're used to. I wish I went to The 621 Tavern in Malden, as usual. One & done!

Roni G.

Yelp
I hosted a surprise party for my boyfriend here and it was incredible! The staff helped me plan the perfect party with food everyone loved. They even closed their blinds to help surprise my boyfriend when we walked in! The food was delicious, everyone was obsessed with the specialty pizzas. Sarah was the best and made everyone's night more fun. We also had the monster tots and the dessert pizzas which were a huge hit.
google avatar

David R.

Yelp
This is a great new spot for pizza and drinks!! We ordered a salad with chicken which was enough for two and tasted great. Decided to stick with a standard pizza since it was the first time dining here. The pizza came out looking fantastic and tasted just as good. Cooked correctly with great crunch for the crust. The drinks.... what can I say, the drinks are amazing, great martini's with almost anything decorating the rim...even fruity pebbles...lol.... Definitely will be returning. I give Easy Pie a Solid 4 Stars.
google avatar

Charlie M.

Yelp
Chicken sandwich was fabulous and the atmosphere is great. Can't believe this place has been here so long and I've never had. Pizza is next, it looks great and the types he makes are original and will blow you away! Do yourself a favor and check this place out!

Yelp
Stopped by a few times and they were closed, so finally one night actually looked at times before I went to visit. Got a Cheese pizza and a Reese's Dessert Pizza for the kids. Menu is limited for kids (picky ones that dont eat anything) Got some chicken fingers at least. Pizza is really good, Kids loved the Reese's one as well. Location has some seating but isnt crazy large, I only did pick up so cant comment on eat in service, but the people I did interact with were super friendly. Will def be back, especially now that they deliver to me via GrubHub!
google avatar

Sarah B.

Yelp
Delicious pizza - I would rate the food 5/5. They offer tons of options from dessert pizzas to an Indian style pizza. They really have quite the variety of flavors and know how to make it good. Their prices are more expensive than what you would expect so I wouldn't necessarily purchase more than one. The small size is good for 1 person or 2 kids and the large is decently sized for about 4 people. I'd suggest ordering to go as there's limited seating but a large parking lot for convenience. I'd absolutely come here again for the food even though it's in the higher range for the cost of pizza.
google avatar

Claire N.

Yelp
Came in for drinks, they were actually trash, I mentioned that my drink wasn't good. Got a different one. Was still charged for the first one. And I had 2 glasses with MASSIVE chips in them lol. When you work in a restaurant and serve drinks with chips you take them off the bill. Girlie was obviously in a rush to get us out. Will be calling for a refund. Do not waste your time coming here.
google avatar

Nkem A.

Yelp
I came in for the first time on a Wednesday night and yes, there was only one worker tending to customers, but all of our food came out pretty fast. Our server was attentive and nice. I enjoyed the speciality pizza (bbq fried chicken) and dessert pizza (strawberry nutella) as well. I would recommend this place to anyone that want to try unique pizzas and entrees.

Yelp
I love the decor and the idea behind this place. The advertising, logo, etc. is all excellent. Even the door handle to enter the restaurant is an axe, and their business vehicle's license plate is "BE EASY." The details are great! I came here and got takeout, and I was super excited to try their rendition of the "Big Mac" Pizza. I figured that I'd also try another pizza since I was already making the trek, so I ordered an "Any Given Sunday" as well. I was expecting to like the Big Mac Pizza better than I did Any Given Sunday, but to my surprise, the Any Given Sunday was more flavorful than the Big Mac Pizza. Although, I do appreciate the little details with the Big Mac Pizza (including the chopped up pickles and onions and the sesame seeds that you'd find on your Big Mac,) but I think that there could have been more of the "secret sauce" on the pizza to give it more of that tangy flavor found in a Big Mac. I mean, it was good, but it was more savory in flavor than I was expecting. The crust of both pizzas was really good and flavorful, though. I ate every last bite of the crust on both varieties I tried. I don't know that I'd ever order either of those pizzas again, but I feel like I'd definitely visit Easy Pie again to try some of their other menu items.

Jj G.

Yelp
Ordered a meatball sub and a cup of chili. The chili was so-so kind of tasted like spaghetti sauce with some beans and meat. Not great. Also the meatball sub was a goopy mess. The meatballs were not very flavorful at all.

Yelp
My son randomly found this place when I asked him to find somewhere for lunch near the Harley shop. AMAZING! The black sign with the crossed knives was a little off putting but the inside was really fun and friendly. The food was unique and SO GOOD. see pictures

Yelp
What a gem of a place!! You must sit on the patio! So inviting. The food is different and fabulous! If we are back in Boston- we will come again!

Yelp
Friends and I came here late on a Friday night. We were excited to try it out since it was fairly new. We were pleasantly surprised. We got some a couple of pies that were great. However it was the "Monsta-tot" that stole the show. It was amazing!
google avatar

Yelp
I was hesitant to try Easy Pie for two reasons. First, some of the reviews here on Yelp. Second, their menu is gigantic, and I figured there's no way they can have such a big menu and still be good. Despite those reasons, I tried it anyways, and I'm extremely glad I did. And I've been back for it multiple times. I've only had their pizza, but every pizza I've had from them was delicious. Not just delicious, but creative as well. The Mac Daddy pizza tastes like, obviously, a Big Mac. It's one of my favorites: some tang from the thousand island sauce and pickles, a big pile of lettuce to brighten it up, and a nice helping of ground beef. The Any Given Sunday is a close second. Think "chicken, bacon, ranch", but instead of ranch, it's honey mustard. It's not so much honey mustard where that's all you can taste: it's a softer note that gives you that flavor without overpowering everything else. The desert pies ("sweetie pies") are a creative addition to the menu. I've tried the "Top of the Heath"... a great balance of sweet and salty. Was a little sticky to eat, but what can you expect from a pizza covered in caramel? All in all, I'm a big fan. I can't comment on the service, because I've always ordered it for takeout. Note that (at least on Uber Eats), it says that a small pizza feeds 4. This is wrong, it feeds 1. It has 4 slices, but it would absolutely not feed 4 people.

Michelle D.

Yelp
We absolutely love this place, we discovered it a few yrs ago and have been there many times. The wait staff is very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is fun and they have a beautiful patio out back! The food is amazing!!! We the monster tot, we had never had such a large tot with different topping, so delicious!! The pizza choice are fun and creative also delicious! my husband loves the burgers they are also creative and delicious as well!!! We drive 25 minutes to get there and it is so worth it!!! We had seen it on a food show, that is how we found this gem!

Yelp
Great pizza, and I mean really excellent quality ingredients in it, for a reasonable price point. Recommended!

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place place since I saw it open and wasn't disappointed. The menu, especially specialty pizza, is extensive with many things you won't find anywhere else. The restaurant has a very modern but casual feel. The dining area was smaller than expected but they also have additional patio seating. Service was a tad on the slow side and our two pizzas came out about 5 minutes apart. As for the food, everything was really good and served piping hot. We ordered two small pies and an order of buffalo tenders. We originally order wings but they informed us that they were sold out. The tenders did not disappoint..crispy while also well sauced and they were probably my favorite part of the meal. As mentioned before, the menu is extensive and there are many things left that I would really like to try. I'll definitely be back and not just for their pizzas. Overall, it's a bit pricier than other places in the area but worth it. And the dessert pies all sound amazing!

Amy B.

Yelp
Great place. We shared 3 different pizzas so we could sample and all were amazing. Our server Gerry was awesome. We enjoyed the added bonus of the monthly car show in the parking lot as we left.

Yelp
About a month ago, I was able to go to the brand new Easy Pie location in Revere, MA and meet its operator, Spiro, who is easily among the friendliest and charismatic people I have ever met. So intense that back in Greece he tried out for the adrenaline-inducing X-Factor. After getting into the restaurant business, Spiro has put his energy into making Easy Pie a totally unique experience. He cooked lefty when he was in a cast. He dedicated all his time to the place. He worked five days at their Braintree location for five days before spending the weekends remodeling the Revere location with his barehands. Yelp
Super Impressed with Easy Pie. Very trendy Pizza restaurant in Revere, but on the boarder of Malden as well. The decor and ambiance is spot on, along with the signage throughout the restaurant. Their instagram page is what initially drew us in for dinner. My experience: We are the page in Instagram, then went to the website to check out the menu. We saw multiple dessert pizza options which looked super attractive, but we could not partake due to our diet. But we still wanted to try a less caloric pizza this night though. So we called in the order on the way to the restaurant and was told that it would be about a 20-25 minute wait. Well we were only 10 minutes away so we ended up arriving before the pizza was ready so we decided to pop in to catch a drink at the bar. The bar was fully stocked and the bartender was super nice as well. She mentioned a fall special which was a pumpkin spiced beer with the cinnamon sugar rim for $13. We loved this beverage. Then after about 10 more minutes the pizzas were ready but we weren't finished with our drinks so we decided to try a slice of pizza right at the bar. Pizza Review: The regular size pizza was cut in 6 slices, and looked on the smaller size but it does pack a punch. You could definitely split 1 pizza, especially if you order a side dish. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala pizza, which was pretty good. I think it lacked a little flavor so i asked for a side of the masala sauce to dip the pizza in. However, my fiance ordered the pineapple express which had bbq sauce on it, and hers was delicious. To wrap this up, we will definitely be back because we like what this restaurant is doing. I will order a different pizza however, and i will also try one of the dessert pizzas.

Yelp
I really do love the food. Ordered from them plenty of times but very disappointed that my last salad had avocado that was clearly going bad and they still added it to my salad.

Yelp
Nice good food casual, good service. Easy pie! Delicious salad and burger. Good music. Nice and warm on a cold day.

Yelp
Easy Pie, Revere for Mother's Day takeout. Read other reviews and decided on takeout. Easy online ordering, picked up at restaurant. Yummy! Loved it all, but found the middle of the crust on the dessert pizza a little too crunchy. Miso Hungry pizza super filling, easily would feed 3. Picture....Left to right, top to bottom..... 1. Yelp
I somehow just discovered this place! We went here on a Friday night for dinner and got a two-top right away. Easy Pie features pizzas (duh) and burgers along with salads and some apps. The pizzas looked great but we were craving a burger. We ordered a burger with fries to share along with a caeser salad. We chose "the big country" burger with caramelized onions, bacon, honey bbq sauce, and pickles. Whoa...how can you eat this thing by yourself?! Well...you could...but glad we didn't! The burger was pretty thick and juicy, not too much bbq sauce, and the onions were super flavorful. Overall--very tasty and the fries were good too. The caeser salad was huge too...big slices of parmesan cheese and huge croutons (too many for me). We will be back to try the pizza next time!

Yelp
Easy pie is my favorite place for pizza in the area. They have a lot of different options and all great!!! The sizes are perfect and you never leave hungry! Burgers and sandwiches are also delicious and the monster tatter tots are a must try! The service is always great, the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Drinks are fun and delicious! Don't hesitate to give this place a try! Unwind regret it!

Yelp
I went for a quick and easy meal, received neither. Service was for shit. Additional prices for USING A CARD AND SAUCE ON WINGS is not a thing anywhere else. I was basically ignored for my first 10 minutes there, so thanks for fuck all.

Yelp
Place is small, and a little challenging with young ones in car seats however, the food was great! I could truly appreciate the story behind the restaurant, and the design of it. Cool little spot for good food! Staff was really friendly.

Yelp
For almost $18 for burger and fries, they shouldnt be messing up the difference between "fries or onion rings". I asked for fries as a side - got onion rings. Also, i wasnt able to bite the onion rings in half - YIKES ! Burger was good though.
