How Austin Restaurant Workers Fed the City During Texas’s 2021 Winter Storm Uri - Eater Austin

"Joe Carr (Easy Tiger): Millennium was a whole other ballgame — you couldn’t get enough food out there. I don’t remember what our total number was, but it was probably close to 20,000 meals throughout those few days." - Erin Russell

Our group has been coming here monthly on a Sunday morning for about two and a half years. Locally owned with yummy baked goods, good coffee/espresso drinks, and delicious meals. My go-to is the breakfast bowl with either avocado, bacon or pastrami. The special/seasonal pastry was an Earl Grey (I think?) fig scone. It had too many figs for my 21 year old daughter but I thought it was perfect! My other favorites are the bacon scallion cream cheese, the Brussels sprouts, pastrami, cranberry walnut bread, and the almond croissant. It is large so there’s always a table inside or outside, never a wait. We also love that parking is easy. Their bread is so good you can also buy it at HEB, just not all the varieties. They also have a good selection of local craft beer on tap but I usually go for brunch.

Google
Awesome experience. The marketing style of American Traditional is super consistent across the social media, the wall art, the fonts, the decor. Group trivia was happening on the patio when we were there on a Tuesday night, we didn’t play but had lots of fun listening to the chatter. I ordered the Veggie Patty Melt with the waffle fries, dang was it good. Impressed with the complexity of the flavors on such a simple dish. Highly recommend.

Google
Delivers a well-rounded experience with solid marks across the board. The food is fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully presented. The service is attentive and friendly, striking a nice balance between casual and efficient. Despite all that, it did take a bit of time during peak hours. Atmosphere-wise, the spot offers a relaxed, laid-back vibe with communal seating and a modern beer garden feel, perfect for hanging out with friends or enjoying a solo bite. Overall, it’s a great place to unwind, grab a drink in a welcoming environment.

Google
We've been coming here for years and the food and drinks were always good. Lately though it seems like they are losing steam. While the service was good on our last visit, the food was just okay. They also had a menu change and removed the BLT which is what I went there to get.

The baked goods are magnificent. Nice atmosphere with outdoor seating can seat Large parties. Walk up service if you just need delicious Baked goods to go. Great seating if you want to hang out with friends and family

Google
Great spot to get a coffee/beer. We’ve been here a few times to watch football games (they have TVs indoors as well as outdoors). We also visited one time after dinner (looking for a dessert) and although it was late (about 20 minutes before closing time) they still had a few bakery items - we got a danish and a concha and both were good.

Google
Great atmosphere with a wide variety of food and pastries. The pretzel bagel was delicious!! If you’re in the area, make sure to check out Easy Tiger. The staff are also very friendly and pleasant!

Natalie France

Google
We got the cookie butter latte, fried chicken sandwich, and turkey sandwich. Food wasn’t bad- it just didn’t taste like anything. They don’t really put any sauce on their sandwiches so it was very dry. The latte was good, but nothing special about it.

Yelp
Love this place and I'll be a regular when I travel out here again. The coffee hits the spot and I ordered a chocolate almond croissant. Delicious!! They had a sign that said they offer cultured butter, they mill their own flour, artisan chocolate used, and unique recipes. It's an open concept bakery also so you see the brilliant bakers working their magic in the background. Other breakfast items also offered which I will definitely try in the future. Indoor snd outdoor seating available. Great little spot to hang out with yourself, your friends, or your puppies. Parking was easy.

Yelp
I used to come here pretty often since I used to work nearby and it was one of the few places in walking distance. Carryout was where I've had the most issues. I'm pretty certain that they forgot my order and then it was unceremoniously handed to me with 0 napkins or utensils and I was fortunate enough to find a fork in a loose drawer. I will say though that my dining-in experiences have been much better and the takeout process has been much improved. I'll highlight the last few times to save you all some reading. I went recently to get an impromptu breakfast and went inside to the counter. The breakfast sandwich had an optional pretzel bagel upgrade and the barista recommended the sausage for the protein. I've since come back a week later to get the same item. I'm not a coffee drinker but their Hibiscus iced tea is DEE-LICIOUS! I was warned it was unsweetened but to be honest, nothing is needed. I've never had a Hibiscus tea so good. Last weekend, I went to sit down for brunch. William was my server and he was awesome. He was the only one out there and with he handled at least 20 people on his own; they have really long picnic tables. He was a like a hospitality tornado and he definitely got me hyped up for my choice of biscuits and gravy. I was looking at their seasonal tart and he also helped me make an informed choice. I was looking for something pop-tartish but he let me know that wasn't the case and steered me towards the turnover. While some of my early visits were a bit rough-it's definitely been much improved as of late.

Yelp
To start off I have come here over a dozen times and the coffee is just getting worse and worse every time. This place is a great place to come for the relaxing vibes and service which is great Not shaming the place but probably the people making the coffee needs more quality control. I'll try one day coming back but not any time soon.

Yelp
Very welcoming staff. Clean tables and silverware. Felt welcomed the entire time I was here. My breakfast bowl had a 10 minute wait time. Everything in there was savory and delicious. Came out warm and delicious. My Bengal spice was prepared and served within seconds of ordering. Was checked in on regularly during my stay. I have nothing bad to say about this place. Wonderful job team!

Yelp
This was my first time at this location. Great patio. Plenty of parking depending on the day. I was there for happy hour which is $5. Food was great and Drinks were refreshing. For how close it is. I have no excuse to not come here

Yelp
This place exceeded my expectations! The service was incredibly fast, and the staff were not only efficient but also exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The patio area is a fantastic spot to relax or even get some work done--it's spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. The food was absolutely delicious, with bold flavors and great attention to detail in the presentation. Their beer selection is top-notch, offering a wide variety of options to suit any preference. To top it off, there's plenty of parking nearby, which makes it super convenient. I'll definitely be back soon!

Yelp
If you're looking for a spacious, laid-back spot in Austin that combines great food, drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere, Easy Tiger @ The Linc is a must-visit. This place has everything from a dog and kid-friendly environment to 36 rotating beers on tap, live music, and game day viewing--it's the perfect hangout for any occasion. Plus, they have fans to keep you cool on warm days and even a pink ping pong table that adds a fun, quirky touch to the vibe! For my meal, I started with a side Caesar salad and their mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was, hands down, one of the cheesiest and creamiest dishes I've had in a long time. The balance of flavors was spot on, with just the right amount of melted cheese, making it so good I could've easily gone for a couple more bowls! The Caesar salad may have been simple, but it was fresh and flavorful, a great complement to the richness of the mac and cheese. When it came to drinks, I opted for the Lavender Lemonade (Tito's, lavender syrup, lemon, sparkling water), which was light and refreshing, perfect for a warm Austin day. But the real star of the show? The espresso martini (New Amsterdam, espresso, Kahlua). This drink quickly became one of my top espresso martinis--rich, smooth, and the ideal balance of coffee and liquor. It's definitely one of the best espresso martinis I've had, and I've tried quite a few! Overall, Easy Tiger @ The Linc delivers on all fronts: great food, amazing drinks, and an inviting vibe. Whether you're stopping by for lunch, hanging out with friends over drinks, or catching some live music, you'll feel right at home. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I had the original double burger and fries, it was okay. The drinks were pretty good and the price was reasonable. Visited during happy hour so select drinks were $5 but the regular cocktail menu is still pretty "affordable". The indoor area looks nice and cozy but we sat outdoors and enjoyed the relaxed environment. Although it was a little busy service was good with consistent check ins. Will definitely be back for drinks and to try the coffee!

Yelp
I love coming to Easy Tiger for brunch. There's plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. I usually sit outdoors when I bring my dog. It's almost always busy on weekends during brunch hours but the wait for a table is never long and the service is always friendly. My go-to is their egg sandwich served on the fluffiest, cloud-like bun. I'm always indecisive and will get my sandwich with either sausage or avocado. Both solid choices. Waffle fries are great for sharing. And do not miss the ginormous Bavarian pretzel! The side of beer cheese is the cherry on top. They also sell these pretzels at Q2 stadium, so get one! I also recommend checking out their bakery inside. Their sourdough boules are great and the cranberry loaf sells out quickly, so get one before someone else does.

Yelp
Came here as an informal work happy hour on a Friday. Plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. I ordered a happy hour margarita, the bratwurst on the pretzel bun, and croissant. All the three were enjoyable but I wouldn't mark them as my personal all time favorites. My co workers ordered the pretzel and we both were expecting a soft pretzel (and maybe that's on us) but it was not, so we were a little disappointed at that. My co workers ordered actual lunch items but I was a little tardy to the party to I just got the few things to snack on. Water is available and servers would rotate every few minutes to check in and see if we needed anything. Overall, I saw a lot of people coming to just catch up and chat casually or work and I think I'd definitely return for that reason alone. My coworkers coffee looked and from my one taste was yummy.

Yelp
BLT sandwich is amazing! Incredible flavors of bacon, tomato and fresh lettuce and homemade sourdough bread too. Then we shared the side of brussel sprouts with the table. A yummy meal and good drinks. I tried their margarita and it was good.

Yelp
This beer garden is spacious and well designed. It takes me back to Germany. While it was packed on a Sunday at noon, there were still a few unoccupied tables both inside and outside. I ordered the French toast bites ($13.80) and my friend ordered the breakfast sandwich ($10.55). This French toast was very interesting as it was made out of baguette bread. I enjoyed it with the blackberries, maple syrup, and butter, although I felt that they skimped on the berries. My friend liked his breakfast sandwich. However, we were both not full after eating our meals. At these high prices, we were expecting to at least have a filling meal. They had pastries on display, which were quite pricey as well.

Yelp
Interesting menu, friendly service, cute venue, very excellent bakery (bread available sliced and unsliced). Quinoa bowl was heavily overdressed (otherwise interesting and flavorful). Where, oh where did the twist ties go? That's a systems issue. I'll be back, often. Thank you for your time.

Yelp
Honestly, this is a disappointing review to have to write. Five years ago this review would've looked pretty different, but Easy Tiger has not emerged from Covid unscathed, though it seemed like it was struggling even before then. The menu has shrunk, removing some of their best items (see also my Croque Madame picture from 2019 RIP), and the prices have inflated beyond what should be construed as reasonable for a spot like this, IMO. If you're going to Easy Tiger, go for a pint, or during happy hour where you'll be able to get food like pretzels and sausage for less than $10. Cocktails are OK too at the reduced prices. Any other time you're going to walk away with just fair food for more than you probably meant to spend. On the plus side, still a great place to meet up with a group as there is plenty of space to go around most of the time. The baked bread is excellent, but it's much easier to grab a loaf from HEB where they deliver to. I have some hope Easy Tiger can get back its old mojo, hopefully needing to close some of their locations will be a wakeup call and they'll get back to the fundamentals!

Teresa K.

Yelp
My friend and I grabbed breakfast here. We got the bagel and bacon cream cheese. The bagel was ok. It wasn't the best but not bad. The cream cheese was good. We got coffee and asked for the drinks to be less sweet which they accommodated. The coffee was good. The waitress was very friendly. Ambience was lowkey. Definitely would like to try some of their other goods.

Yelp
I love Easy Tiger. This is my first time at this location. Parking lot is decent. They have a huge outside covered patio. They have lots of seating inside too. WiFi is available. Looks like a lot of people come here to work. Pastries were beautifully displayed. I'm actually surprised they had as much as they did at 12:30pm with a full house of people. Had to get pain au chocolat. And a croissant. They looked so buttery. Bread looked amazing also. I love their sourdough. Customer service was on point. Gentleman behind the counter took my order, was very nice and bagged up my goodies. He even sliced my bread in the slicer machine. When I got home, I had the pain au chocolat, it's super flakey. I ate it over my kitchen sink. Just made crumbs everywhere. It's very flakey, lightly crispy, and buttery. I heated mine in the toaster, which made the chocolate warm and soft. Very good. Croissant is for breakfast tomorrow, and I already know it's going to be buttery and flakey too. Im looking forward to having it. And the sourdough bread I've had before, and I'm excited for avocado toast all week!

Yelp
Found while visiting Austin. We went late in morning, so not much left pastry wise. BENGAL SPICE iced latte was absolute heaven. Best specialty coffee I have had.

Yelp
I LOVE EASY TIGER! Cutest vibe, great food, so good. I was really struggling with what to get because everything sounded so good. I ended up deciding on the easy italian sandwich because I wanted focaccia bread hehe. It came with capicola, salami, smoked ham, olive spread, provolone, tomato, red onion, lettuce, and vinaigrette. Just look at how beautifully STACKED that sandwich is. This is the type of sandwich that you will dislocate your jaw for but it'll be worth it. One thing about me: if there is an opportunity to get tomato soup, I'm going to get it every time. I love tomato soup!!! It makes me feel so warm inside!! And tomatoes are so good for you!! Also, you know if your meal comes with a pickel spear, it's bussin. ‍

Yelp
As food goes, this chain is pretty standard. The food is good, though not incredible, and they have a nice array of baked pastry and bread options. I will say, one thing I like about this chain is that every location has its own vibe. This one feels more like a coffee shop, and definitely the kind you'd want to get comfy at and work from for a few hours. Nice staff too!

Yelp
Easy Tiger is an awesome restaurant - good food and drinks and it's perfect for larger groups, which can be hard to find in Austin. The happy hour is great - I love their old fashioneds, the orange flavor is a bit more pronounced which I enjoy. Sausages taste great but the best food item is the beer cheese that comes with the pretzel. Employees are nice and seem used to people "camping out" as they said so they let you eat at your own pace. Will keep coming again and again!
google avatar

Connie C.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place!!! The service was exceptional, prices fair and food was so delicious! Pretzels were fantastic and one of the best pastrami sandwiches ever...can't wait to try some more dishes...
google avatar

Yelp
Ample parking, ample seating, HUGE menu of baked goods, what else could you want! This is must visit for anyone living in Austin and I definitely encourage supporting local coffee houses. I've gotten their baguettes, sourdoughs, almond croissant and coffee, all of which were a hit. They tasted very fresh and seemed reasonable for the price. Sometimes I grab a couple of extra baguettes and freeze them for later use, they're warm up beautifully and you've got a delicious toast for your breakfast one random day. The ambiance is perfect, I love their interior design and the outside has a very lively vibe which makes it a great place to be in this good weather.
google avatar

Yelp
Of course I've heard of this place since living in Austin, but I had yet to try until recently! Everyone always talked about the bread, so I had to try a sandwich and their pretzel! Luckily, it was Oktoberfest so I got a huge beer to go with it! First, the pretzel was huge and delicious! Very authentic Bavarian style. The mustard it was served with was good as well. The beer selection was nice and drinks came out quickly. I ordered the roasted turkey sandwich, and I was sadly disappointed. I really wanted more flavor, maybe more sauce, but everything, including the bread, was pretty one note. I got to try the waffle fries and those were delicious! Very well seasoned and had a nice crunch. Overall, the service was great, the drinks were good, the place was cute, and the food was pretty decent. I'd come back!

Yelp
Great place to come and work or meet up friends for happy hour. Service 5/5: The employees are friendly and do a good job at checking in on you. If you're there while they're switching shifts they'll usually let you know someone else will be taking care of you. Food 3/5: They don't have much variety, but their pretzel is pretty great. If you do order it, just be aware that they charge you for each dipping sauce. Drinks 4/5: they have a great selection of beer and also have a cocktail menu. It's difficult to locate their happy hour menu and times. We had to ask the waiter for that information. Ambiance 5/5

Yelp
Our recent event at Easy Tiger - LINC was a cozy and enjoyable experience. The second-floor space provided just enough room for mingling and dining comfortably. The service was friendly and personable, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. The Mardi Gras beads and festive band outside added to the lively ambiance. However, the food was just okay, with some guests noting that the pretzels were a bit dry, possibly due to sitting out for a while. Overall, Easy Tiger's atmosphere makes it a great place to visit. Super dog friendly too!
google avatar

Christina H.

Yelp
The Easy Tiger located on I-35 at The Linc is the perfect roadside stop for a casual drink and bite. Upon arriving, you'll find a fairly decent sized private parking lot shared with other businesses. I personally have never been inside, because you have everything you need outdoors -- a bar, restrooms, and waiters ready to take your order. Since the area is fenced in, you feel like you're in a giant backyard. There is ample seating with long outdoor tables, perfect for large groups. BONUS: Dog friendly DRINKS: My favorite drink on repeat is the Lavender Lemonade-- Tito's Handmade Vodka made with lemon, lavender syrup, and sparkling water. If you are here from 4-6 PM, you've entered Happy Hour, where this is one of the items on the menu. FOOD: Unfortunately, food is not their strong point, excluding the giant pretzel and their waffle fries. I've tried various items, and everything was just meh. Overall, come for the drinks and vibes.

Yelp
Solid restaurant and bar. This is a place to avoid if you're not a fan of crowds though. I've been on weekends and weekdays, at different times, and the space tends to fill up and stay busy. Food is pretty good. Beer cheese and pretzels are always a great option. Drinks are delicious. Service is ok? No one was ever rude, but service has been consistently slow, and I've seen some wandering food orders more than once. The ambiance is an ever so slightly elevated chill. Really putting the easy in Easy Tiger. The picnic tables outside are well maintained and are all pretty big so it's great for groups of all sizes. While this is not a spot I would go out of my way for, it is definitely worth checking out if you want a cool vibe with a larger group of friends.

Yelp
Ok, the beer here is wonderful, But there are 18,736 places in Austin that serve wonderful beer. My job as a Yelp Elite is to drink beer in them all ... Something I am doing my best to do when I am not getting coffee or Chinese food or tacos instead. * * * Yes, 18,736 places with wonderful beer exist. But 18,736 with wonderful beer AND good food? That is a smaller list. Easy Tiger does a lot of sausages. The sausages here are real sausages with fantastic bread, good beer cheese, a terrific home made mustard, good onions, kraut and peppers, and nifty butter for the bread. For beer and sausages, the obvious competition is Banger's. Banger's has the beer for sure. Bangers' sausages are puny little strings. Bangers has to hide their sausages in oversized buns. If those itsy bitsy little sausages were exposed to the world, Girls would laugh at them. Easy Tiger can just put their sausages right out there on the plate. Girls look at Easy Tiger's sausages with admiration and awe. * * * Easy Tiger is about more than just the sausages though. Their breads are absolutely fantastic. My lovely wife just uses them as a bakery. The coffee is first rate. (Reportage on this comes from my lovely wife again.) Pastries and desserts are totally tempting. And you can do a pastrami sandwich or a nice healthy salad if you are so inclined. * * * Yes, other places in Austin offer full menu options. But they don't come with the fantastic beers that Easy Tiger carries. * * * I would put Easy Tiger as one corner on the Holy Triangle of Good Eating and Hard Drinking at the same place. * * * The Three Corners of the Holy Triangle Are: Easy Tiger = Beer + Big Plates of Fun Food Bobo's = Whiskey and Gin and Small Plates. Beer Plant = Beer + Vegan Fancy Food. * * * You can't go wrong either way. If you want to have a long and soulful conversation with someone, Think about Bobo's. If you are taking someone on a first date, think about Beer Plant. Go to Plan B if the nightly prospect insists on having meat. If it is fun and silly time, go to Easy Tiger. * * * All three of these places are among the Best in Austin. You can't go wrong either way.

Yelp
Meeting on the patio at Easy Tiger is my default when making plans -- centrally located, ample parking, a menu that appeals to most palates, laidback vibes, and friendly service. Is it the best dining experience of your life? Probably not, but it's reliably pleasant. A group of friends just convened for brunch and all eight of us were happy with their food and beverage picks. Standouts were the French toast made with sliced baguette, the egg sandwich, and the pain au chocolat from the pastry case. The cookie butter latte was also popular and thankfully not overly sweet. I can't speak to the beer, but folks at other tables looked happy to imbibe. Definitely worth a visit.
google avatar

Yelp
Easy Tiger is your spot if you're looking for an outdoor patio with great snacks and beers. The abundant shaded outdoor seating is ideal in any season. But, I can imagine that it could get very hot here in summer, so, the fans will come in handy. As a first-timer here, I was thrilled with the option to taste beers before ordering. The team was very accommodating and kept the options coming, but I had to order the pumpkin sour. We split the sausage platter, which, was just ideal with beer. The assortment of accouterments was perfect for me, but the sourkrout could have been more moist. The indoor space is nice, too, and be sure to check out if there are any discounted pastries!

Yelp
Cute little place with a great outdoor space and a coffee shop-like vibe indoors. We were meeting a friend and this place was a good midway point that she recommended. It was National Pretzel Day when we went, so the pretzels were only a dollar that day! So naturally we ordered one. The weird thing was that the extra dipping sauces were an extra $1-1.50, which like at that point ordering another pretzel was cheaper. Thought that didn't work out well. But the pretzels were very soft, not overdone, and tasted great. I got the smoked turkey sandwich with waffle fries and my husband got the burger. The portion size was pretty good! The fries were done perfectly--crispy, not soaking in oil, and tasty. The sandwich and burger were pretty standard in our opinion. Everything is done via the Toast app, so you don't really have a server or anything which I guess can make things faster if people know what they want and don't want to wait for anyone. We would recommend this place for a nice bar vibe, dog-friendly patio, live music, and just a place to hang out with friends!

Yelp
Our group walked in around dinner time and were able to immediately seat ourselves at one of the many empty outside tables. After many tries, we figured out that their online order app wasn't working. Went inside to order but as it was deserted, we came back out, walked around and finally saw a staff member to ask for help. She offered to send someone over. It took a while, probably because there weren't many staff around. Our table was not completely clean and no effort was made to clean it. We got our own waters, napkins and utensils. For this we were expected to tip the customary 18%-22%. Food was okay. Menu a bit pricey. My chicken sandwich and its accompanying slaw and corn mixture was bland. A little seasoning - actually a lot of seasoning - would have helped. We appreciated Easy TIger's shaded outdoor patio, ample seating for groups, free parking and Sunday evening hours.

Yelp
Came here for happy hour with some friends and we loved it!! Their wine deals were really good so I got a glass of rose and the turkey sandwich. The portion sizes were really good and really well priced!! We also got a pretzel to split and it was delicious with the butter!! It was a really nice day so we opted to sit outside and it was so beautiful and perfect to have good conversations:)

Yelp
Absolutely love the Vital farms egg sandwich. The bread is baked to heavenly buttery perfection, cheesy egg on point and avocados are always fresh. Couldn't get any better than this.

Yelp
The ambiance of this place is super chill but still cute. I also love that it is dog friendly. Service is nice and the food. There are also a lot of vegetarian and vegan options here. I got the veggie quinoa bowl and really enjoyed the herbed lemon dressing. Also the pretzels are huge and fresh! I like the mustard here too! I will definitely come again! Great place to chill with friends!

Yelp
The pastries are yummy and so is the food. I got the pastrami sandwich and I still dream about it almost nightly. Good work!

Yelp
We threw a party for about 30 people at Easy Tiger and they seriously could not have been more wonderful or accommodating. The manager, Stetson, greeted us and went over all the food and service very thoroughly. Our server, Lily, was FANTASTIC. She was so friendly and attentive. They gave us a separate room upstairs. Which was so great. We ordered several "boards": pretzels, charcuterie, sandwiches, deviled eggs, Brussel Sprouts (my favorite), salad and a variety of desserts. Easy Tiger is casual but fun and has a nice updated aesthetic. They have a nice low key playlist that thankfully isn't plated overly loud. Our party couldn't have gone any better we were so pleased. I highly recommend Easy Tiger.

Yelp
One of my favorite coffee houses in Austin. Great place to host a party, event or coffee date.

Yelp
YUM! This spot is great for lunch and love the atmosphere. The sandwich was beyond good, I'd go back just for that. The Brussels were flavorful and the service was nice and efficient. The space inside is nice for a work or business lunch.

Yelp
I would come here JUST for the coffee. The lattes are flavorful and unique - I LOVE the use of cardamom in a few of their signatures! If you need a place to come with a large group and NOT be indoors (or be indoors, if you choose!) this is the spot for you. Plenty of parking (might have to park a little far, but walking's good for you!), lots of beer options, lots of cocktail options, and a great menu if you eat gluten! There are a few GF options, but I wouldn't eat here if cross contamination is a concern of yours. This place is genuinely cool, and a joy to be at - but SOME of the food options can be a bit hit or miss! I think they really excel at snack foods, breads, sausages, and sandwiches - but a lot of the veggie options have been a bit lackluster. Just head here ready for some carbs and a good time!

Yelp
My go to breakfast spot for meeting up with friends. They have a great morning special - coffee and a pastry or the breakfast sandwich at a discounted price. The sando is where it's at though - scrambled eggs, house made sausage and some aioli on a basket made bun. They also have their fill bakery assortment if you want to snag some bread to go!

Yelp
One of our friends was in town for work and staying downtown so we met him halfway at the easy tiger linc location. It was my first visit and they have a cool space with inside space upstairs and down as well as a dozen or so larger tables outside. It was icy out so naturally we sat inside. The beer selection was good and I ordered a new belching beaver ipa and my buddy got a newer ipa from meanwhile. My fiance really wanted a hot chocolate + pastry which they have a deal for but unfortunately they were out of all pastries (it was 6pm and they said they made less because of the weather). She ended up getting a hot totty and said it was good. For food, my fiance and I shared a lemony brussels sprouts, which were pretty good. My buddy got a bowl of soup and a giant pretzel. The pretzel was giant but he commented that you have to pay extra for beer cheese and mustard which isn't something I've seen anywhere before. The bread on his sandwich was so hard it was tough to eat. The food was ok overall but it's more of a snack and drink spot imo, probably good for larger groups. Service was spotty which was weird as they were really slow. You can order through the qr code or the waiter and I made the mistake of ordering my first drink from him which led to a long wait for drink #2. Eventually we got tired of waiting for him to come back and opened a 2nd tab online. I also had the meanwhile ipa and it was solid. Decent spot but overall, feels a bit overpriced for what it is.

Yelp
We came here on a Monday morning in a large group for breakfast before our flight out, and it was pretty decent! I love how huge the large outdoor benches are, perfect for large groups. It looks like there is a stage, maybe for live music? The staff here is super nice. Ordering is very unique too! You scan the QR code on the table, and order on your phone. You also check out and pay on your phone as well! Then someone will bring out your order to you. I ordered the Easy Egg breakfast sandwich, and got avocados with it. This added significant volume to it, as my boyfriend got the same thing but with bacon instead, and his sandwich was pretty flat. TBH, the whole sandwich could've used more aioli or even salt, as it was pretty bland. There was an "add extra aioli" option in the menu, but I didn't taste any at all in mine. This place also has a huge bakery inside. We got a banana bread crumble and apple cinnamon scone as well. These were decent, nothing special but it was yummy. My friends ordered the waffle bites, breakfast bowl, pecan pie, etc. Those looked amazing. Maybe my bf and I just ordered the wrong thing, but honestly the Easy Egg breakfast sandwich looked like it had a lot of potential, as it reminded me of EggSlut in Los Angeles. Overall, the atmosphere was very nice, and the servers were very attentive as well.

Yelp
I'm not sure why it took me so long to try out this place. As someone who doesn't drink beer, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they also serve pastries and coffee. This was an ideal spot for me one Sunday morning when I needed a spot to just enjoy a cup of coffee along with my book. I also ordered an almond pastry and it was very good. It had cardamom inside which I am a fan of. It pairs well with coffee or tea. There is a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is also shaded and has fans blowing mist (definitely needed during the Texas summers). Parking is easy to find. I definitely see myself coming more often to try some of their meals.

Yelp
Came here for lunch one day since it was so close to me and it did not disappoint! It was very active and lively for the middle of the day but I liked the energy. There was no line to order so we got through quickly, took our number and found a seat outside. Very friendly staff who are knowledgeable in the menu. I noticed they didn't have a whole lot of ciders which is my favorite since I'm not a beer drinker but I got the spiced peach cider from Austin Eastciders. It was tasty, refreshing and not too sweet. I also got the kielbasa sausage and waffle fries. The sausage was amazing! 10/10 would get that again. The bread was also so soft and just delicious which isn't surprising with Easy Tiger. The waffle fries however was cold and stale. Proteins get that again. Overall, this is a great place for some good lunch and a beer. Also good for working remotely.

Yelp
I ordered to go and the girl at the register just gave me the vibe that she didn't want to be there and was kind of rude to my friend. I had sat down and ordered something else the woman who waited on us was sweet and patient which I definitely appreciated, the wait was a little long but overall it wasn't too bad for my first time. My latte and bagel were delicious though:)

Yelp
If you are looking for a gathering spot for your holiday party - this is the spot! We had about 22 folks in our party and arrived around 10:30am in the morning. We were able to be on one tab and tax except (after showing our tax exempt #). We had one waiter and he was amazing. The brunch was magnificent! People ordered pastries, breakfast bowls, breakfast sandwiches, pretzels and bratwursts! There was a wonderful variety of food for everyone. The drinks were also yummy. I had the chai but others ordered hot/iced coffee and tea. There are even some alcoholic options :) Highly recommend for your next office gathering.

Yelp
Love love love the vibe here! Great outdoor seating and they make it super simple to order by scanning a QR code and placing your order. The staff delivers as your order is ready. There were two sizes of the pretzel, I got the regular pretzel. I have to say, I've had much better soft pretzels elsewhere. But loved the beer selection.

Yelp
Wanted to get a coffee but apparently the barista has left for the night with 3 hours to closing. Is a very nice space though with plenty of seating. Not too loud to enjoy time there
