16 of the Hottest Places to Eat Brunch in New Orleans Right Now

"There’s a brand new, seven-day-a-week brunch spot in the Warehouse District — that also specializes in whiskey. The menu is whimsical and creative, from the dishes to the brunch cocktails — for instance, a Pig Pop Tart with cochon de lait stuffed inside a pastry drizzled with a Crystal Hot Sauce glaze (there’s also quiche, biscuits and gravy, a Creole omelet, avocado toast, and more). For cocktails, the Cereal Milk Punch, Y’all is pure nostalgia: bourbon shaken with cereal-infused milk and rimmed with crushed cereal. Brunch is served 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily." - Eater Staff

My room in Marriott’s wasn’t ready and it was pouring, so I grabbed breakfast here: avocado toast with sunny side up! It was great. The reason for 4/5 is they weren’t organized. I was told I could order, then…. The kitchen is closed, then no you can order. The bartender who helped me was great. She went out of her way to find me milk for my coffee! I was a bit disappointed at management.

Nice new spot. They were still going through some rookie pains when my party visited but the staff was very nice. Cereal Milk Punch was strong and you get to choose between Apple Jacks, Froot Loops, Coco Puffs, Rice Krispy, and Frosted Flakes. Food was good.

Had a chance to eat here while recently at a conference. The drinks were tasty and had a good pour. All the salads and appetizers I had as well were delish. The true gem of this place was the bartender/server Whitney. She always maintained a great smile while providing top notch service. Being kind isn't always a given these days and she deserves recognition.

This is a hotel eatery that serves full time brunch. We thought the cocktails were strong in the best way and loved the bacon cinnamon roll and chicken waffles. Do not go expecting Nola 5 star cuisine; just a nice fun place to share lunch with friends. Staff was sweet and accommodating. We liked! ❤️❤️

Don’t waste your time. The pop tart was nasty. The waffles were burnt and tasted like hotel complimentary waffles. The food was subpar at best. The servers were distracted and the food took 35 minutes but we were the first if not only folks in the section besides a few hotel guests. Bless their hearts they did their best by taking off the pop tart in the end. Wouldn’t go back.

I don't normally write reviews, but I feel compelled after that disappointing brunch. The food was extremely overpriced for the size and just not very appetizing or tasty. I ordered the Shrimp Remoulade salad - it cost $17 and the plate was about 5 inches in diameter. So, at that point, I also ordered the Frittata since the salad was not going to fill me up. The frittata ($14) tasted about on par or worse than something you'd buy from the frozen aisle and nuke for 2 minutes. I am assuming this place is overpriced and bland because they expect it to get a constant funnel of business from the Convention Center, but PLEASE do not waste your precious time in New Orleans eating here. We have SO MANY amazing places to eat that are in walking distance from this locale and a similar price point! Peche, Cochon, Sofia, Gianna, Willa Jean - all within walking or a short Uber distance away. I came here with a coworker so work paid for lunch but if I had spent $80 on this lackluster spread, I would have been extremely frustrated.

This was the worst experience my family had ever had for brunch. It took 1 hr and 40 min for our food to be served. The waitress abandoned us. They comped us free toast. I have never left a 1 star review in my life. We do NOT recommend.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick snack and cup of green tea. Service was excellent! Hummus was hummus and green tea hit the spot. Place is a soothing bar environment and has lots of seating. Nothing to write home about but if you want great service, see the new gal!

Yelp
I was greeted by the hostess upon entering. Everything was clean and the decor was beautiful. I chose the shrimp and grits. I received a large serving that was piping hot. The aroma was tantalizing before I had an opportunity to take my first bite. Very flavorful. The shrimp wasn't overcooked like many places. I highly recommend trying this place.

Yelp
Avoid. We saw this recommendation on Eater so we headed here for breakfast. It is located in the lobby area of the Marriott, not a separate restaurant. We were the only patrons in the restaurant, got service from the bartender, and ordered "The One" sandwich and the biscuits & gravy. Our bartender kept going back to the kitchen and reassuring us it would be a few more minutes. 45 minutes later, we still didn't have our food. Frustrated, we left. The restaurant has some serious issues to work out.

Yelp
The food was inedible. Everything was burnt. We ordered the chicken and waffles and the pop tart. The pork inside the pop tart was well seasoned, it was just hard to get to because the pastry was burnt. The waffles were burnt. And the chicken had been cooked so long it didn't resemble chicken. I think it was left overs reheated, but worse. Super bummed bc this was on an Eater list, but I guess you can't believe everything you read... We sent it all back and walked along for more palatable fare.

Yelp
This restaurant inside of a hotel. We came for breakfast, and were seated right away. Our waitress was attentive & friendly. It took a while for our food to come, but it was fresh. The breakfast quiche was delicious, the chicken and waffles come with a pepper jelly that definitely has a kick to it, so good.

Yelp
Claudia, the bartender, is amazing!! Her drinks were delicious and the insightful banter about New Orleans was a total bonus :)
