Eat Fantastic - El Segundo

I went on a Saturday afternoon, before it got busy. Four food items took ~5 minutes, which allowed me to snap some pictures. The staff was courteous and patient (as it was my first time there). The food is as good as it looks on the menu pictures; and even though I got my food for 'Take Out,' the atmosphere here is inviting with music and large windows that allow natural sunlight to brighten the murals inside of the restaurant - Palm trees all around the walls, large 'LAX' sign and Kobe Bryant above the door.

This is the place to get really good food at an amazing price. I ordered the breakfast croissant with bacon and the hubs had the 3-egg plate. We cleaned our plates. The space has a nice vibe inside and outside too.

I have been wanting to try this place. So I took my cousin from Arizona to eat. We ordered the mamba combo it was a delicious burger my cousin also enjoyed his burger.. it a very clean and friendly environment definitely will return.

I only had breakfast here (waffle) but it was tasty and came with eggs and breakfast meat. Drink options are a bit limited, but about average for fast casual. The other menu items looked good, with a wide variety. Will want to try it for lunch sometime.

Definitely a great place to grab lunch! Went here and got a house salad with crispy chicken and caesar dressing on the side. I also ordered tater tots on the side. The crispy chicken was so good! I would definitely recommend their crispy chicken! It was crispy and delicious. The tater tots were also good! I haven't had tater tots for so long. I'm glad they had tater tots! Looking at the menu, it also looks like they sell a few breakfast foods here. I haven't tried their breakfast food yet, but I'm hoping one day I will try some. Anyways, I would definitely recommend coming here if you are ever nearby this place. Great place to sit down and eat! The price is good for the taste in my opinion!

I love their avocado toast and the customizable food items as I was able to add both Chorizo and another slice of bread to my order.

I picked up my niece from the airport and she had Google this place and she said she wanted to get a sandwich here. So we stopped by. The food was surprisingly fresh and delicious. I'll tad on the expensive side but worth it. She had a pastrami sandwich and I had the melted pastrami sandwich. Both were good, but the pastrami was a little on the fatty side. I would still recommend this restaurant.

Great breakfast joint, especially if you're picking someone up from LAX. The French toast is excellent, served with fresh berries. And don't skip the OJ, fresh squeezed right before your eyes. Staff is very friendly.

My husband brought home the French toast breakfast for me and he had a cheese burger. Everything was delicious!!

Came here for lunch and had a breakfast burrito. The burrito was large and the order came out fast. Staff friendly. I enjoyed the burrito and had leftovers.

Burrito was well proportioned and hits the spots when hungover. Service was quick and staff was very helpful

Service here was good. The waffle combo was tasty and I appreciated that they had self serve ketchup and Tapatio packets. The portions were very generous (more than I could eat). The restaurant was clean and well cared for. Only complaint was that the chicken (while hand battered) was overcooked.

Excellent breakfast burrito . I like the three meat combo. Lot's of great choices throughout the day . Enjoy!

The croissant melt was a hefty size and delicious. The hash browns were super crispy, which added a nice crunch to the meal. This spot opens early and is conveniently by LAX Airport, making it an ideal choice for breakfast before a flight. I also came with a group of 4 and all of our dishes came out quickly.

Located on Douglas right next to the Lakers store. This casual restaurant is family friendly and has plenty of seating inside and outside on their patio. There are many options to choose from and their breakfast and lunch options are both "fantastic." (Wink Wink) We have tried their pancakes, burritos, burgers and B.L.T.A. and they have all been very satisfying! You can't really go wrong with any of their items on the menu. You place your order at the counter, get a number, and a server will bring the food out to you. The restaurant is clean and the servers were constantly wiping down the tables while I was dining there. That's a plus for me!

Eat fantastic was pretty good. I had the double cheeseburger, fries, strawberry lemonade and vanilla shake. Don't judge me!! lol. The burger was vibing descent. The fries are a little soft, but was cool. Overall I would definitely go back and eat there again.

As far as fast breakfast food goes, this place is pretty fantastic for very solid, well-executed eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, and breakfast burritos. Eat Fantastic's food is pretty no-frills, just good food where the hash browns are crisp on the outside, soft on the inside; where the bacon is properly rendered and crisped; and where the sausage patties don't coat your tongue with a thick layer of grease. They have the basics down, but just short of amazing since recipe-wise there isn't anything that distinguishes it from any restaurant. That said, if you're just looking for very good basics, this is the place to go to.

I ordered a cheeseburger combo with crispy fries and I had parchment paper in my burger, the manager only wanted to refire my burger and not the whole meal not to mentioned he acted like he didn't know what parchment paper was. Upon arrival to get my order redone the manager did not have my order receipt ready as stated and to get it from the host. The manager had attitude after it was done, he threw my food bag in the service window in which it almost fell off. As I went to eat my order then noticed my fries were not cooked correctly and were barely brown, he only seemed to cook it half assed because he didn't want to do the whole order over. I will not be going to this location ever again. Really deserves no stars.

Very tasty and easy to get to. I love the Torrance location so I'm glad there's one closer Great lunch special/box. And beer on tap, yay!

Great value, fast counter service spot extremely close to south end of airport. Plenty of parking in the complex. Tables inside and out. I had Berry good Breakfast combo with 2 eggs, hash brown , sausage and 2 pancakes topped with strawberries and whipped cream for $11. Seems weird to give a simple place 5 starts but they didn't miss. I don't even usually like pancakes unless I make them. Burger's etc as well.

Incredibly consistent and great value. Always fast, fresh and delicious. I think I have now ordered everything on the menu, probably twice. I recommend the breakfast burritos, chicken tenders and burgers. This is the place to wait when picking someone arriving on a delayed flight to LAX. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. They even have a working restroom which is rare near the airport.

I LOVE this place when I am in LA. I discovered it when I lived there and it's a staple when I go back. The atmosphere is cool, I've never seen it too crowded and the food comes out piping hot and super fast!!! I've tried most of the breakfast plates but the pancakes get me every.single.time!!! so much so, I inhaled them before I could get a pic but I did get a shot of the FT the next day lol; they also give military discounts!! The young lady at the register was so sweet and helpful!! GO HERE, you won't be disappointed!!!

The crispy chicken sandwich was delicious. They gave you a very generous portion of chicken. My sister hit the hamburger and said it was undercooked and wasn't very good. I was disappointed that they didn't have any French fries that day.

I came here last weekend after craving a breakfast burrito. The restaurant was pretty slow that afternoon. Perfect for me. I ordered the breakfast burrito with sausage & bacon. The burrito was filled of meat, hash browns, cheese, & eggs. It was very good. I will definitely be back to try their other lunch items.

This place was mid. Lacked flavor in every dish we purchased which was the burrito and breakfast sandwich. Simple breakfast items which i didn't know you could mess up on. I was surprised at the ratings.

Customer Service is FANTASTIC, Food is excellent, establishment is clean and organized. Great alternative to Hotel Restaurant in the area and reasonably priced

I eat here about once a week. They have some pretty good burgers and their fries are off the hook along with their onion rings...can't go wrong there, but for me...their break burrito (bacon with pico on the side) is the best I have eaten. staff and manager are always very friendly and accommodating...for sure. over and beyond. my go to spot I will be back.

really good quick bite, very nice atmosphere and staff was pleasant and efficient . Place was very clean and varied menu choices. Great breakfast burrito. They even have help yourself water set up. Nice touch

I couldn't make up my mind for lunch. It was a battle between a burger or a pastrami sammich. Hubbers happened to be on the phone and then an idea: why not both?! He was all for it, "Go get the Yorker!" I had far too much to do at work so I knew it was gonna be a quick visit for a to-go order. Parked on the lot, jumped out of the car, found their front door, got in line (which was at least half a dozen peeps long ahead of me) and put my order in "no pickles, no mustard please." (I wasn't sure if it was included, but dropped it in case they did.) Whew, they were busy! They're popular for a reason and I was about to find out why. My food was ready in no time, so I bounced outta there and got back to work in a bit. Sammich was still warm by my first bite. First impression: this thing was huge! The buns were soft, sorta fluffy. The burger was cooked juicy and they were generous with the amount of pastrami! What a delicious and savory delight! It truly hit the spot. FOOD: 5. Based solely on the Yorker. SERVICE: 4. Friendly staff. Service with a smile. VALUE: 3.5. A little better then fair. PARKING: Private lot. Spots aplenty. Not an issue. OVERALL: 4.25. They have a whole lot to offer, and I plan on coming back sometime soon to try some of them, preferably when I'm not in so much in a hurry. I'd like to try dining on their patio area - even more so during a warm but breezy SoCal day! (I better get on that soon! Fall is around the corner!) Might just drags people with me... Good first run! Can't wait for the second!

This Place is amazing! Ordered a pastrami sandwich i would say 10/10 Chili Cheese Fries 10/10 My son Ordered a Breakfast Burrito he loved it , clean restaurant food came out quick , Omar came out and checked on our table . Will definitely be coming back and will be a regular. Thank you!

First stop on this trip to LA and I made a great choice! I got the lunch box so i could try the burgers and tenders this is a great value! You get a burger fries a cookie and tenders for $12. I added a strawberry lemonade which was fire! One of the better burgers I've had in LA I would recommend for sure!

What a cute little breakfast and brunch spot! It had exactly what we were looking for, a nice mix between breakfast foods and lunch foods. I got the chicken and waffles, which consisted of a nice large, fluffy waffle, along with two eggs and two pieces of perfectly cooked Chicken with a side of their special sauce, which was extremely delicious. The service was also very quick. The view was very nice, we sat underneath a large green umbrella along the side of the water wall outside where we had views of the birds drinking water and the gentle sound of cascading water made for a delightful brunch!

Want to give a big shout out thank you to Natalia and Griselda. Yesterday I lost my sweater with my car, work and house keys. They took my name and number and they went above their job to find buildings janitor and retrieved my sweater and keys called me to pick up. I also mentioned their help to their manager. Love these kind of people!

Great place to get a burger near LAX. Prices were reasonable. The quality of food was excellent. prices were fair. The zucchini was my favorite. service was great and friendly.

I have been to the other Fantastic Cafe in El Segundo a few times. First time here per recommendation from my buddies parents. I went with a Fantastic Burger combo and upgraded to zucchini fries with a Coke. Was right under $19.00. How was it? Fantastic Burger- This sounded awesome. Bacon cheeseburger with avocado? Sign me up. Unfortunately, it wasn't that good...just ok. Even with the toppings, the burger patty itself was so bland, the whole burger was just pretty plain. They definitely need to season their patties better. Would not get again. Zucchini Fries- Now these things were bomb! Long, thin strips of perfectly fried zucchini paired with a great, thick, ranch dressing. Incredibly tasty and I would come back just to order zucchini from here. A+ zucchini. Coke- Always love ice cold Coke. Refills are done behind the counter, no self serve. The place was cool, the outside patio is really nice, everything around here is new. The burger was just so disappointing though! If/when I come back, I will definitely try their chicken strips. People around me and inside were eating them and they looked pretty bomb.

Eat fantastic has a variety of breakfast and lunch items at a reasonable price, and everything is fresh. Great breakfast, burgers, fried chicken, and decent salads. One of the main lunch spots near my office, nice that it has outdoor seating when weather is appropriate.

Just ordered the lunch box today. I'm enjoying my delicious burger when I look down and a hair is sticking out of the patty meat!! Come on eat fantastic do better than that. Maybe invest in your workers wearing hair nets!! I have attached a picture for your pleasure.

Service was excellent, food was absolutely satisfying couldn't even finish it the $12 lunchbox is a must. Only nitpick French fries could use a bit more seasoning other than that....what can I say it's fantastic

Food is delicious, inexpensive, and fulfilling! Service is good - order at the front and seat yourself. They have a fair amount of seating too. No line when I wet around 11am and they had seating to accommodate my group of 8. Would come again.

Been getting the Caesar chicken salad here, today was different. I had ordered extra grilled chicken on my salad and when I opened my container and mixed everything around, there was no extra chicken and to be honest, there was less chicken from other times I've ordered this salad. And good thing I asked for a side of Caesar dressing because before I left I took a glance at my container and noticed there wasn't any dressing. The lady on the counter told me it was mixed in and I already knew it wasn't mixed in. So disappointed, usually they're ok with the amount of chicken they put in but the fact I ordered extra and I got less from previous visits is pretty upsetting. And I paid $18.62 for this as you can see on the photo on the next slide, just terrible..

I was looking for something I could walk to from the hotel. Dinner and sit outside. Well it is in a commercial area so frankly very few people around for a dinner on a Tuesday. There is outside seating! And everything was made fresh as I waited so a bonus. The burger is huge ... or at least to me. Very very flavorful and the onion ring was as big as the burger! It was juicy and excellent. The gator tots were crisp & piping hot ... yummmm

The Fantastic Breakfast Burrito is OFF THE CHARTS!! The salt from the cheese crust makes it a perfect blend...and its pretty BIG too..

Really was hoping for more given the reviews. Ordered two of the exact same breakfast burrito and both came completely different tasting. One had some kind of red sauce that made the ham breakfast burritos taste like chorizo. It was supposed to be ham, egg cheese, hash brown. I think they must have added the taco sauce by mistake. Also quite small for $11. Too far away to take back... Not sure if this is related to fantastic in Hawthorne but this place is just not the same as I used to remember. Won't come back.

We stayed at a nearby hotel and found this restaurant. The food was great and the service was good. We ate on the patio which was a relaxing environment. Rhe breakfast burrito was awesome. We will be back@!

This review is for breakfast/brunch timing and food. Food was ok, but it serves right for the amount that's charged. This is one of the inexpensive places where you can eat tummy full without paying a lot. Service is pretty quick as well since it's a pre pay place. I ordered French toast. It wasn't the worst but it felt very chewy and dry. I asked for overeasy eggs that was cooked to perfection. Sausage links were small but pretty tasty. I'd go back if I need to save time and money.

The sausage breakfast burrito was delicious. Do yourself a favor and add the avocado. The service was smooth and the employees were in a great mood, which is a big bonus. I do wish their "spicy" sauce had more heat to it.

Had the chicken and waffles for the 1st time. The chicken was very flavorful, waffles were light and all tasted great. Service was fast and friendly allowing me to get back to work quickly. The place is always clean and they have good music playing every time I come in. Totally recommend trying the dish!

Good breakfast spot by lakers training facility. Bacon is perfect thickness, coffee is good and hash browns excellent. Good choices for breakfast and lunch and fast service. Nice atmosphere

Biscuits and gravy and BLTA. The biscuits and gravy are filling and very good and great portion. The gravy is a basic gravy mix and would kick this all up a notch if it was a sausage gravy. The Bacon lettuce tomato and avocado sandwich was excellent. The bacon wasn't rubbery as some places will serve, it was crispy, the bread was buttery with crispy edges and all the flavors were there. Great service and clean restaurant.

Can't say I'm a fan of old-school greasy diners and burger joints but this one stands out. Burgers, fries, chicken tenders, sure All these food items are on the menu but I like their breakfast dishes most of all and that's what I highly recommend. Want yourself a good old cheese omelette with hashbrowns? Sure, you'll get one in a plastic container. Do you prefer cleaner food, a breakfast made out of egg whites? Order their Greek omelette. You will get a five star restaurant quality breakfast served to you on a proper plate with silverware. Most people should be able to find something they would like at this cafè. Oh and don't forget, free kid meals are served on weekends. You don't necessarily need to bring your children but being able to order free side dishes is really special and appealing.

The Lunch Box is delicious and a bargain. The chicken tenders are the best I've tasted. We substituted zucchini sticks for French fries and were well rewarded.

Eat Fantastic is newer small chain burger joint. This location is in El Segundo, next to the Lakers Training Facility/Lakers Team Store. In a small shop plaza. Large parking lot. Outdoor and indoor seating. Outdoor has a nice play area for kiddos. Service was great and friendly to our large party. Food comes out fast. They do serve beer. Menu is like an upscale more expensive version of the mom and pop joints like Jim's. Kids eat free! Kids meal we got was Chicken Tenders, fries, milk, and a cookie. IPA - $7 - Little Bear was on tap. Mamba Fries - $12.88 - Pastrami fries with chili and cheese. Heavy. I wished the Mamba burger has the same ingredients but it was completely different. Chili Cheese Fries - $9 - Typical burger joint side. Fantastic Burger - $11 - Good burger with bacon and avocado. Breakfast Burrito - $9 - Huge burrito with your choice of meat. I wanted the tenders to make it more brunchy. It was good. 6 Box - $15 - Chicken tenders with fries. Chicken was a little dry for the kiddos. Excited to the try the location down the street in Arcadia!

I had a grilled cheese today and it was pretty good. The prices went up, now they charge extra for bacon and avocado on the mamba burger. Today we went in the early evening and service was fast. This is a popular lunch spot so the afternoon can be a little hectic. They have indoor seating and a nice outdoor space. Great place to meet for lunch or use as a work space.

My go to spot for a work lunch not only because of its convenience, but also the food is good. The burgers, breakfast burritos and fries/tots are all tasty. I might've tried all their burgers and it's all good. The breakfast burrito is quite large and I can only finish 1/3 of it each time! Their prices have gone up significantly, but which place hasn't? The staff is friendly, and the food comes out fast. The patio outside is nice to enjoy the sunshine before going back to work.

Came in about 3p on a Friday, ordered the #8 "Mamba Combo" (not a sports fan, but I like to get the "signature" offerings at places the first time I'm there. It was a close toss up with the Fantastic Burger. RIP Kobe, they're slathering extra Xtra sauce for you) Remember on 30 Rock how they'd hiss "youthsss!" and recoil in horror? If that's you, be forewarned, 3p here is teeming with (rather well behaved, I gotta give them credit) unsupervised high school kids. Combined with the rather decent alternative music soundtrack, it's a little loud, but not bad in any way. 90's kids will feel at home. The Mamba Burger was a nice combination of flavors, I would come back for it. The Coke was just right not too syrupy or too much ice. The fries were kinda sad, they were only lukewarm, they definitely were not made originally for my order and had been sitting and got soft and soggy in under 5 minutes. They seasoned salt was only on some of them, but not most. Would it be weird to ask them to double fry them, just to make sure they were fully cooked and hot? I get anxious just imagining trying, but fries in this state are just depressing. The location is mostly clean, bathrooms not terrible, but needed sweeping and messes left behind on tables sat there a long time. One star removed for the fries, one for the dirtiness, and one added because the burger was better than expected.

I got the chorizo breakfast burrito it was so delicious will be coming back ! Fast service and delicious food!
