"A good spot for lunch offering a solid selection of Vietnamese deli treats. Try the Goi Cuon (summer rolls) and Goi (papaya salad) for the win. The food here is consistently fresh, clean and delicious. The staff are friendly too and really make us feel welcome every time we stop by. They’re open every day apart from Saturday, don’t let that catch you out." - Sennep

A stand-out place to eat authentic Vietnamese food in an area where there is so much choice! Fast and efficient. Great flavours and good portion sizes that leave a grown man feeling full. Restaurant itself is small but staff are always friendly. I usually opt for the chicken pho - meat is tender and broth is flavourful. I sometimes ask for BBQ Pork summer rolls too - which isnt on the menu, yet they are always accommodating. Isn't that fantatic. Definitely would recommend to those in the area looking for a quick bite. I will be back!!

I had the Bún Bò Huế (Bun Hue). I believed the food isn’t cooked by Vietnamese cause Chinese-speakers are in the counter, but the food is relatively good. However the price is quite higher for this area and for such a small place (u can dine in but mostly takeaway). Not a bad experience in overall.

Only ever ordered a vegetarian tofu curry from Eat Saigon. Taste of curry is very mild, neither great or bad. The vegetables and tofu in the curry also taste just okay. The counter staff are very brusque, though not unfriendly. The price is about average for this kind of fast food takeaway establishment in this part of London. The portions are generous however. One oddity is that the staff are all clearly Chinese, but selling Vietnamese food. Maybe they're Vietnamese of Chinese origin.

A hidden little neighborhood gem! Service is sweet and friendly, place is clean in design and hygiene. Food is delicious, fresh with tons of flavor. Glad we discovered this place - now we don't need to walk to Kingsland Road for our Vietnamese food fix!

Fresh and light Vietnamese food that doesn't put me in a food coma in the afternoon. Their noodles and iced coffee is as good as anything I've had in Saigon and at good prices, especially awesome considering it's within walking distance from my office. It's especially fresh and especially clean.

Eat Saigon as great portions for the hungry diner. Friendly staff make the experience enjoyable. Try the Beef and Pork. Lovely.

A tiny little no-frills cafe. I was intrigued because I’d never seen bun offered with eggplant before… but I soon discovered why. Because it’s not really the right combination 😆 both were great separately though! Portion size was huge and the food was tasty. Would say it’s not a place to go when you’re in a rush, but will definitely go back and have the bun with tofu, and the eggplant with rice. And then maybe try the summer rolls, which looked great too.

Had a very solid vegan banh mi today for lunch. The sandwich was deliciously spicy with very refreshing veg. The restaurant is very nice and the service was great!

Yelp
Nope. Broth tasted more like sugar water--no depth of flavour to it. Noodles clumped together per my picture (not given adequate time to heat up in water/broth). Worst of all my pho was warmmmm...that sickly warm that you don't want any soup to ever be. Like your fat boss's handshake. Soup should be piping hot or nicely chilled. But on this February day...Eat Saigon ate my £7.90 and didn't deliver an edible pho. With so many options in this area, walk on.

Yelp
This Vietnamese cafe is a great addition to the lunch scene in the area. The limited menu is affordable, tasty and freshly prepared by the friendly welcoming staff. Not the cheapest but worth a try.

Yelp
I was quite excited to discover this new Vietnamese restaurant near my new office. I used to work near Kingsland Road, so was spoilt for choice with places like Viet Grill and Song Que. I was hoping Eat Saigon would be my new regular, but unfortunately it didn't quite live up to my expectations. The dish I sampled was my Vietnamese benchmark dish - Bún tht nng (BBQ pork with vermicelli). Unfortunately the pork wasn't nearly charred enough and was a little soggy, and the spring rolls served with it were cheap nasty pre-made ones. On the plus side, the salad was fresh, and they provided a good sized portion of nuoc cham. Overall, the food was okay, but not outstanding. I'll probably try one more time before ruling out.
