Eataly Is Opening New Cafes in Manhattan and Restaurants at JFK | Eater NY
"A new outlet will open at 20 Hudson Yards (at 10th Avenue between West 30th and 33rd streets) sometime in the spring; this site will be a quick-service restaurant offering grab-and-go food along with some dine-in space." - Nadia Chaudhury
"I was told Eataly is opening a new location in Hudson Yards next spring, though there’s no word yet on whether it will include restaurants." - Melissa McCart
Italy Café is a wonderful place to take a break and enjoy one of the best views overlooking the VESSEL. It’s ideal for having a snack or coffee in a relaxing atmosphere. The fact that it’s inside a shopping mall makes the experience even better—you can shop, eat, and use excellent facilities all in one stop. Cozy, convenient, and truly enjoyable. Definitely worth visiting!

The pastries and cappuccino are really good. However, the service setup could use some improvement. There is a single line for all orders, whether you’re just grabbing a quick coffee and a pastry or something more involved, like a hot sandwich. During peak hours, especially with heavy tourist traffic, this creates long waits that can be frustrating for locals or anyone on a tight schedule. Adding a separate line for quick orders or a grab-and-go section would make a significant difference. It’s a great spot — it just needs a more efficient service flow.

Of course it is overpriced. Out of all things ordered only chocolate mousse cake slice was decent. Cannoli is overly sweet and also the mini donut looking thing as well. Latte was bit lukewarm.

Authentic Italian Caffe experience with stunning views. Delicious coffees, pastries, pizza, sandwich, salads, gelato, cocktails, wine, happy hour, tagliatelle/small bites, etc. Really fun environment for bringing friends/family/interviews/photos. Next to the Edge counter and facing the Vessel. You can achieve iconic Hudson Yards views while enjoying a delicious drink and food.

It's lovely! We traveled to NYC and stopped here for some lunch. They have a variety of options, plenty of room, and super friendly staff. They are busy at lunchtime also. We can pretty much find everything in here, such as pizza and hoagies. They also have wine and ice cream.

The food is so-so. The coffee is mediocre. The cornetto was quite sticky and somewhat dry, although the pistachio filling was pretty good and somewhat compensated for it. It's a bit expensive for what they offer. The best thing they have is the ambiance.

Great vibes for an Italian breakfast with cappuccino and pastries, or Aperitivo with excellent Spritzes!
The view of Vessel is spectacular and there are plenty of seatings.
Pizza and panini are excellent options for a quick lunch too

Yelp
Perfect lunch spot for a delicious Italian sandwich. It gets crowded at lunch so get there early to avoid the chaos of the line at the deli counter. Worth the wait though! Good price for the portion.

Yelp
Ordered their specialty hot latte featuring their chocolate. It came as an iced latte and took quite a bit of time. They seemed overwhelmed. It was good, but just not as chocolaty/ what I expected.

Yelp
I was attending a conference at the Javits center nearby so decided to grab lunch at Eataly Caffè since it had just opened the night before. The restaurant has a much smaller footprint than the full sized Eataly markets but does provide the perfect space for a quick casual lunch. The line at the food counter was lengthy so I grabbed a seat at the bar to order instead. The high seats were comfortable and the bar top was a beautiful white marble. Only suggestion here would be to add hooks under the bar to hold bags. The food offered at the bar was different than what was at the food counter. For my drink I got a La Nostra Limonata from Lurisia. This was significantly smoother than it's San Pellegrino counterpart. Maybe there is something to using three different lemon blossoms harvested in three different seasons for flavoring. For food I got a sandwich with mortadella, buratta and pistachios drizzled with EVOO. Presentation was excellent as it arrived on an impressive Eataly branded wooden slab. Mortadella was very delicate and seemed to almost melt in your mouth. Bruatta was fresh and flavorful. Bread was light and tasty but was perfect to let the inside components shine. The combination of it all with a satisfying crunch from the pistachios made an unforgettable sandwich. I also sampled a scoop of pistachio gelato on a mini cone which was complimentary as a part of their opening celebration. It was creamy and had a strong pistachio flavor. I'll likely return here in the future when I'm in the area.

Yelp
$18 for a slice of pizza, guys? Are you freakin' serious???? I got a slice of mortadella and burratta pizza, and honestly, it was nothing to write home about. If it had been $5, it wouldn't have been so bad, but $18? Please!

Yelp
Briefly, the best iced tea in Manhattan. Excellent baristas. Exceptional coffee bar manager. The seating is attractive but just adequate. (The table is too low for laptop use). Spacious, overall. A pleasing cafe to take iced tea and pass the time.
