EAT& - Review - Cebu City - Cebu - The Infatuation

"Above the pass at EAT& are the words “Sense of Urgency” as a nod toThe French Laundry. But this casual Korean comfort food spot doesn’t take itselfthatseriously. Take the well-loved Pinoy tocino, or sugary beef cheeks, which they soak in a galbi glaze for a sticky-sweet and slightly smoky breakfast option. We saw plenty of diners tearing into carbonara in gochujang sauce, but our personal favorite is the white ragu tteokbokki: rich, chewy, and only a little indulgent. We don’t know who’s thinking of these combinations, but we’d like to thank them. During your bathroom break, you might notice a wall of lockers. Push against it and find yourself in The Lost Unicorn, where you can settle in with cocktails that incorporate banana milk, bingsu, and makgeolli." - Chandra Joshua

I had the tuna sandwich and it did not disappoint-flavorful and filling! The pistachio latte was a bomb as well, definitely a must-try. The only downside was the long wait for our order to arrive, especially considering the place wasn’t that busy. Still, I’d come back to try the other items on their menu.

Food are perfectly cooked, taste are awesome; busy night does not slows the food service. Kudos for the Korean style rice bowl, simple and satisfying.

Best brunch spot in Cebu!! Coming from Melbourne, Australia where brunch is commonplace, Cebu’s Eat& offers excellent food at great value in such a beautiful environment. The decor, lighting and high ceilings make for a perfect catchup spot, a very relaxing and inviting environment. Food - both the Turkish eggs and salmon bibimbap slapped 😋 would highly recommend both. Good serving size too. Drinks - my partner said the matcha sea salt foam was the best matcha she’s had in her life. Highly recommended. The spanish latte was good but too sweet for my taste. Next time I shall ask for less sugar/condensed milk.

Both the hot and cold matcha latte was too sweet. I'll give it two out of three stars( ★★☆☆☆) Mushroom toast was ok (★★★☆☆). Just needed a bit of salt.

I’ll admit I haven’t fully immersed myself in everything Eat& has to offer, but my short visit left a lasting impression. I came in on a personal mission: to try their version of Aglio e Olio, a dish I’ve been exploring all over Cebu. Eat& gave it a unique twist by adding wild sesame, which at first threw me off. But with each bite, the flavors slowly unfolded: unexpected, complex, and surprisingly satisfying. It’s a dish that invites you to be present and patient, and it rewards you for it. The coffee was equally delightful: well-balanced, rich, and comforting. The service was a little off though because my dish came in last for something that is simple to make. Though I barely scratched the surface of their menu, my experience was enough to say: Eat& is worth a return trip. There’s clearly more to discover, and I’m looking forward to doing just that.

Eat& is the perfect spot when you’re craving Korean fusion done right. While the menu isn’t extensive, every dish feels well thought out and carefully prepared. The flavors hit the mark—familiar and comforting, yet elevated just enough to feel special. It’s not wildly inventive, but what it does, it does really well. The ambiance adds to the experience, set in the iconic Montage building in Cebu Business Park. It’s cozy, stylish, and a great place to enjoy quality comfort food. Definitely worth a visit for the vibe when you’re in the area.

I did not eat, but I will next time! First, the food looks great but I only needed coffee,—which is big, authentic and respectable! Far better than Starbucks and even more over Bo’s Coffee. Seating is comfortable the view is relaxing. Staff is really great,—vigilant and not overly attentive that you are annoyed by fake performance. They need a raise! The menu has a Korean slant,—but it’s ok if you need a western or healthy meal. Prices are good when considering the location. Again, I will return to this wonderful place. After reading the other reviews here on Google maps, they don’t appear to be fake. Strangely, this places seems overly conspicuous that it might be a tourist trap, but it isn’t. Good job to anyone!

Went there for mother's day and my mom loooved the beef dish she ordered (we did too). I personally liked the eat& bfast, chicken salad and pistachio latte the most. The new dish garlic pesto isnt bad at all too, not too strong with the garlic. Will definitely come back for the latte hoho. (And ty for the free cheesecake for our mom too ♡ it was a pleasant surprise ♡)
