You know its good when you are only visiting for a few days and you make a point of coming back... the first nite we ordered the grilled eggplant n mixed platter w bbq ribs. My friend wanted bbq ribs....like why... in Greece of all places n he knows i was in Texas long enough to learn how to 2 step n smoke a brisket. It was very good bbq, tasted like South Carolina w that twang of vinegar. The eggplant was perfection. We inhaled it lol. We also received wonderful service from Minas so a few days later we had to come back to try different items. My friend said the fried zucchini was the best he has ever had. Both the chicken n beef pitas were stuffed fat n delicious. We think they each weighed over a pound lol. The baklava just melted in our mouths. Thank you for making a foodie tourist happy n fatter lol.

Simply amazing flavours. We ordered 3 different reasonably priced pitas and all of them were very tasty. My favourite was actually the fish one. Very friendly service and the location is in the middle of very busy district. Highly recommended

Family vacation with a stop in Athens. The Eatery by far was some of the best food we had. Everyone cleared their plates. Fried zucchini was a hit, the hummus was so smooth and amazing. Chicken under a brick was a winner. Save yourself some time and go snag a table tonight. Oh to top it off the prices were super reasonable. I thought they should actually charge more…..

Definitely my favorite restaurant in Athens. I love their smoky eggplant so much and I went back for this many times. I've also tried their sweet potato and zucchini fries. They were both yummy too. Oh and their sparkling lemonade with mint was awesome too. The price was affordable.

Sitting: We were sitted inside on a single bar table in a small passage. On the other side there was a double table. This left for not enough room to pass and people kept bumping into me. Also the A/C threw air at us which was unpleasant. Atmosphere: the kitchen is open inside and made a lot of noise. Not necessarily bad but be aware. There was also some aggressive yelling. Food: the Zucchini Fries were delicious! Only problem is that some were seasoned and some not, and those that were not were less good. Cohesiveness would have been better. The Grilled Eggplant was fine, it is a bit spicy (picanti) which was fine but it was also a bit too salty. The pita crumbs were soggy. Chicken Under a Brick wasn't anything to write home about. Service: we were sitted without reservation which we appreciate, but it took quite a while to get both the food and the receipt. Otherwise the service was okay. Overall: 3.5/5. Thank you for the service.

Probably the best dinner we had in Athens. At a better price than most restaurants! 5 star meal for $15 euros per person. Service was wonderful. They remembered us from previous visits. Favorite meal: chicken sikkili and zucchini fries.

I'll keep it short and sweet: the food was amazing! This was not our first time here, and as always, the Mediterranean dishes were delicious. The perfect dish for white meat lovers - fried pork steak with breadcrumbs.. A highly recommended dish Here are some photos of the dishes we ordered:)

Genuinely can't believe how good the brunch is here (and cheap too) - the savory pancake dish was probably the best brunch I've ever eaten. My husband and I were fighting over it.... The crispy pork pita was so yummy too. We only wished we discovered this place earlier so we could go every day The good reviews speak for themselves!!!
