The 38 Best Restaurants in Bangkok, Thailand | Eater

"Eathai delivers Bangkok’s best street food without the outdoor heat. This themed food court in the basement of the posh Central Embassy has become a favorite for its delicious variety, as well as its more affordable prices, air conditioning, and comfortable ambiance. Try the fish-ball noodles and the Vietnamese rice vermicelli with grilled pork, as well as the desserts and iced tea. Bangkok Bold Kitchen, a recipient of a Michelin Bib Gourmand award and an offshoot from the Bangkok Bold Cooking School, holds court in the same space." - Chawadee Nualkhair

Beyond the famous food court, the basement of Central Embassy houses a massive, premium supermarket. It is a fantastic one-stop shop for local gifts, snacks, and daily groceries to bring home. The selection is huge and well-curated. If you're hungry while shopping, there are also several integrated food stalls offering quick bites. It’s a very polished and convenient spot for tourists.

Reasonable price consider its location, varieties of food option. Surprising very less crowd. Literally no wait for food order, plenty of seats/ tables. It’s inside the central embassy atas shopping mall, at its LG level. Very clean table, they will provide you kind of credit card with bar code on it, with 1000baht limit. You just need to scan that bar code when ordering foods inside. There will be additional 5% service charge. You do not need to return the tray or clean the table after dine. That’s the fee you paid for the 5% I guess. Just like the open space restaurant concept. Few Michelin recommended stall I guess

We visite Central Embassy and had our lunch at Eatthai. This is a premium food court. There are many restaurants including street food ones. It has a good concept to gather many cuisines in one place. It is convenient. Unfortunately, not all cuisines have good food. We received a badge for each of us. Then we used this one for paying. At the exit, we will have to pay by scanning this badge.

Lovely food court at the LG level of the mall. A little upscaled street food. Make sure to see the other side of it too as some of the restaurants are there and do offer somewhat different items Totally enjoyed it. I liked the paying card that you actually pay at the end of the meal. Definitely a good experience

A superior food court with a wide range of Thai food to choose from. I recommend you take time to walk around and see all the food available - there really is a lot to choose from. I had duck noodles, my partner had pork knuckle and rice. I had a small size soup and it was more than enough. When you enter EatThai each person is given a token, which is scanned when you order a meal. You present the token to the cashier and pay as you leave. A little more expensive than other shopping centre food courts, well worth the cost. A great place for people new to Thailand to try a variety of Thai food.

Krua Boon Vegan - Vegetarian Food stall at @Central Embassy - Eat Thai Food Center - LG Floor - they have lots of Vegetarian Vegan Food Options - we had delicious ans fulfilling food - Khao Soi, Lad Na, and Yakisoba Noodles along with Keang Kaew Waan - Green Curry Rice. A must visit if you are near Chidlom Area - food is around 1xxbaht per dish.

To summarized, this is a fancy Thai food court. The food was great. I enjoyed the chicken curry. The place was not very crowded as well, so it's very chill. The price was a bit more expensive than usual Thai food court. Also, you will be charged a service fee (I think 5%) when you pay as well, which makes it more expensive. Nevertheless, recommended to try!

In basement of luxury mall and prices are high to match, e.g. 120 for smoothie instead of usual 60. There is also 5% fee added at checkout. I had khao soi and although the noodles and chicken were fine the soup was a thin broth without any coconut milk and probably the worst I've had. There is also a supermarket full of souvenirs, the groceries appeared to be similar prices to Villa Market.
