Yelp
It's a restaurant! It's a bar! It's a small grocery store! It's also closed between 4 and 5 p.m., and the hours on Yelp don't reflect that fact. At least, the restaurant part is closed, but you can still get a drink at the bar. You just can't get food from the restaurant. The grocery store is also open during this time.
Because I visited Eatori during that time when the restaurant part is closed, I wasn't able to get anything to eat. But I did stay for a bit and get a glass of red wine. It was was a fine glass of wine! It was nice to sip on it and listen to the conversations that the servers were having with each other. I also used this time to search for a restaurant at which to eat, and one of the kind servers offered a couple of recommendations. There are lots of restaurants around this part of Detroit.
Eatori Market has the word "market" in its name, which gives you a clue that there is a grocery store housed here. The grocery store is located in the back. There are lots of fancy things (jars of Calabrian chili orange jam, imported salami, expensive sparkling water), but also not-fancy things like Hershey's syrup and Rao's pasta sauce. There's also a prepared food counter, which had things like stuffed shells, quesadillas, grilled chicken breasts, mini cheeseburger sliders, and broccoli salad. I believe these things are all cold, but I'm thinking they will probably warm up the things that need to be warm. They also had quite a few local and non-local beers in their refrigerated case.
