Popular Deep Ellum Restaurant Ebb & Flow Will Open in Plano | Eater Dallas

"After debuting in 2019 and quickly becoming a Deep Ellum dining and cocktail destination under restaurateur Dallas Hale and former Bomb Factory manager Eric Bradford, Ebb and Flow will expand to Plano this spring at 7300 Lone Star Drive inside the Shops at Legacy. The restaurant will take over the 3,000-square-foot space formerly occupied by Coal Vines, including its sprawling outdoor patio, and—like the Deep Ellum spot—will feature eye-catching chandeliers, intricate tile floors, and a flower-laden patio. I look forward to dishes such as Cuban sandwich egg rolls, toasted ravioli, Akaushi beef burgers, and turkey stroganoff, along with boozy items like frozen watermelon Moscow Mules and about two dozen beers on tap; the new location is expected to open in March with an official date to be announced." - Amy McCarthy

My friend and I came here last night to have a girls night to catch up! The food was amazing! The fried ravioli were TO DIE FOR, we ordered 3 plates of it! She had the chicken Alfredo and I had the Caesar wrap with sweet potato fries, both delish! The drinks were great, the best espresso martini I’ve ever had. Our waiter was extremely attentive and very accommodating. We had a fantastic experience! Such a cute place!

Ebb & Flow is a hidden gem with real charm. My sister and I came in hoping for a chill vibe and got exactly that—not a large lunch crowd, no chaos, just excellent customer service and a cozy atmosphere. The staff made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. There was a slightly odd smell when I first entered (maybe kitchen-related?), but honestly, the food made me forget all about it. That Alfredo sauce? Top tier. Creamy, flavorful, and absolutely worth coming back for. Everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned. If you're looking for a laid-back spot with great food and even better service, this is it. Just bring your appetite and maybe a candle for the table 😄.

I went here for a work event and the servers were excellent at handling our large party. They were friendly, prompt and attentive. The aesthetic of the restaurant is cute. Great photo opps and a nice place to go for date night. We stuck with drinks and appetizers. The drinks were good but the apps I tried just weren’t for my palate. I’d try again for dinner though.

Nice upscale place with interesting interior. Bartender was very attentive, and I enjoyed my espresso martini. Music was a little loud but it had a cool vibe. I sat at the bar which had outlets on every other seat, very convenient. Didn’t try food but would come back if I’m in the area.

We came for lunch on the porch and ordered the queso, stuffed chicken breast and patty melt. I also had the peach rose. We enjoyed our stay and the food and drinks.

I ordered what was possibly the best breakfast burrito I've ever had. Just phenomenal. The salsa was fantastic too - made from scratch by the chef, who first roasts the veggies in their wood-burning oven. My server was attentive, friendly, hilarious, and efficient. She even offered me a coffee to go, and spent extra time describing how they prepared everything. I look forward to coming back!!

This place is pretty cute I was surprised at how many tables were open for a Friday night. We had a bachelorette party of 15 and the services was good for that amount of people. The bartender at the bar was a little rude and told us instead of ordering there we could order at our table but we went to order at the bar because no one had come to us in the first 15 minutes. The lemon drop lavender drink was ok I would not order again. I expected more with it being a mixologist drink. I asked what the signature dish was and they said chicken fried chicken and pork chops. The portions were big but the food was just not good. The appetizers were ok we got chips and cheese queso along with pot stickers, chips and dips and the fried ravioli. They were ok the best out of all of them was the fried ravioli. Over all cute place but not worth driving an hour for.
