"The Eben House is among the most traditional lodgings in Provincetown — it’s housed in one of the oldest remaining Federal-style houses in town, an old sea captain’s house that dates back all the way to 1776. The Eben House is practically the very definition of the contemporary boutique bed and breakfast." - Mitchell Friedman

We had an amazing stay here for a long weekend in June. We arrived late and effortlessly found our room. Cassandra welcomed us with an amazing breakfast the next day and both her and Tim went above and beyond to accommodate us. This included amazing local tips, help getting reservations and pampering us with delicious cocktails at the pool. There were so many little details that made us feel at home. Eben house is a true Oasis outside of hustle and bustle of Provincetown, while still being centrally located. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. We cannot recommend them enough.

What an excellent time! Cassandra reached out in advance to ensure a smooth check-in and then she and Tim were on their A-game making sure we were taken care of the entire time. The room was excellent, the location is fantastic, the parking is super easy (it's right behind the B&B), and both Tim and Cassandra were extremely attentive, kind, funny, and helpful. I am so glad we stayed here and we will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to P-Town! They also have a hotel in South Beach now, and as fate would have it, we had yet to book our South Beach hotel for next year, so we'll be staying at their hotel. Definitely recommend Eben House!

We had a delightful time at Eben House! Cassandra and Jim were very kind and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was spacious and cozy; and the house itself was updated yet still had a lot of the charm and character of an older home. We loved hearing about the history of the house! It is also perfectly located to the downtown area, which we loved walking around. This was the perfect getaway for us and we would highly recommend it to folks visiting the area. We would definitely come back!

Comfortable, clean, unique and historic. Tim and Cassandra were very attentive staff. Wonderful breakfast delivered to your room. It had a warm portion if you wanted one (like a croissant filled with warm broccoli and cheese). You are within walking distance of all the Provincetown attractions (just 1 block from Commercial street). While being built in the late 1700's, this structure has been built with the best materials. I was surprised at how quiet it was. I have no hesitation in recommending this B&B.

There are not enough positive things to say about Eben House - my husband and I spent 4 nights here for our second anniversary and the hospitality we experienced will absolutely have us coming back to Eben House. It was our first trip to P-Town and Tim was incredible in his recommendations, helping in getting us reservations, and general support (he was always available). The accommodations were great - comfortable beds, well appointed room, great location (a block from Commercial), zen pool area, delish breakfast. We can’t wait to come back

Room was so cute and clean, we loved all the decor around the Eben House. The pool was amazing, breakfast was homemade and delicious. Cassandra was so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed to have a great stay! Would stay again

Had a truly wonderful stay at the Eben House this past weekend. The property is so quaint and well maintained. The service from Cassandra in reception was over the top and the entire staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms have all the essentials and then the added special details that elevate it from just a hotel room to a vacation experience. Can't speak highly enough about the quality of the breakfast, which is included in the booking price. Can't wait to check out their other properties when traveling and will definitely return. Location is also perfection!

Eben House has the charm of an old building and the conveniences of a modern one. Cassandra and Tim were wonderful, so warm and welcoming and helpful, with terrific recommendations for dining out. Breakfast was delicious, and we made good use of the small saltwater pool. It was exactly the relaxing, charming getaway we were looking for!

Yelp
This review is for "The Residence," at Eben House. To start, if I could give this place 10 stars I would, our stay was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. Upon arriving we were checked in by Teddy, who was a combination of conceirege and property manager. He gave us a tour of our absolutely gorgeous home for the week, and throughout our stay was hospitable and readily available. It was easy to see the entire time he truly loves what he's doing. When staying at "The Residence," you get breakfast brought to the house each day that has been prepared fresh by Chef Kai. Each morning it was delicious and was always combination of pastries, yogurt, fresh berries and quiche, as well as a pot of fresh coffee. It was quite fantastic and one less stress to not have to worry about breakfast each morning. Now review of the property. PROS -House itself: It was absolutely gorgeous, if you looked up "Cute Cape Cod home," this house would be the google image. 4 great sized bedrooms, all either queen or king beds with on-suite shower and bath in each. We were lucky enough to stay in the master suite which included a foyer, sitting room, bathroom with shower and then a extra room with a large tub. There was also a kitchen, dining room and very cozy living room with fireplace that we kept roaring all week. There's also a great outdoor space with grill that would be great to use (if we hadn't been visiting for NYE.) There are 2 parking spots also available with the house. Shower and bed: These are my two make or breaks and both were great. Shower had great pressure and was hot, bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. Staff: Like previously mentioned Teddy and Chef Kai were great. Friendly, attentive and provided everything we needed during our stay. Location: This house is literally a block from commercial road, and right in the heart of Ptown, it's location is absolutely fantastic. CONS I really can't think of anything to provide constructive feedback during our stay. This was one of the best experiences I've ever had. Needless to say, I HIGHLY recommend taking a look at Eben House if you're going to visit. They took absolutely great care of us, and made our holiday trip perfection.

Yelp
This is the most darling inn. They've really nailed all of the details in terms of decoration and comfort - and service! We had a large group of 14 stay for business and felt completely taken care of in terms of needs and the daily breakfasts (so cute and yummy!). Teddy the manager was extremely helpful with anything requested of him, and also made us nightly dinner reservations at restaurants in the area. During our stay we had the chance to see the other Inns that we were considering before booking at Eben House - and are so glad we chose this one. Recommending to family and friends.

Yelp
One of the most incredible spots to visit. A Kooky and comfortable spot. A place to call home with a wonderfully creative twist. The staff are warm and friendly. This is absolutely a place we will visit every time we come to ptown.

Yelp
Stayed here for the first time ever over Labor Day weekend 2019. Very stylish place with a lot of charm. Location is second to none- easy walking to all bars and restaurants. Breakfast was much heartier than expected, and had innovative recipes every morning. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Greg M.

Yelp
Had such a great time on our ptown trip! Cassandra and Barbara where very welcoming and fantastic hosts. The room was super cozy and the property itself is in the perfect place. Near the main strip and bike rentals, but far enough to be quiet too

Yelp
This was our first time staying at Eben House. We enjoyed our stay. Chris was helpful and professional. I enjoyed my time reading on the rooftop deck. We had Room 10 which is not in the main house and borders on Webster Place. Room and bathroom were a decent size. It was tastefully decorated. The breakfast options provided are varied and seemingly homemade. You cannot beat the location. It has been awhile since we have opted to stay that close to downtown.

Yelp
Amazing, Outstanding, Quaint, Perfect are just a few of the words to describe your awesome Hotel. Daniel, Tiffany and Soyer were Magnificent and so Professional. Your Breakfast was also Excellent and a great added bonus! We can't wait to return for a longer stay. What a Perfect Location Too!!! Thank you again and we'll be returning soon!

Yelp
We just checked out of this charming Inn. The staff was absolutely perfect, the grab and go breakfast delivered to your door (during COVID) was delicious. Kudos to the chef- the savories were superb. We lounges by the pool after the beach, enjoyed being steps from Commercial Street. We will be back!!!

Yelp
Kathy and Vincent are amazing managers! We only stayed one night but wow were we pampered. Kathy rescued us from the other unpleasant aromatic place we left and allowed us to come to the property very very early, once a parking space opened up and to make use of the space as early as 1030 am. We sat in the cozy kitchen until a room was cleaned and was assigned to us. We loved the antique decor and all of the portraits of soldiers in stilettos! Amazing! The room was beautiful with a large queen bed and duvet and lots of pillows and outlets for plugging in our various devices. The bathroom was spa caliber! Great walk in shower and high end toiletries and towels. There was lots of good lighting and a small chest of drawers, one old fashion sitting chair and a nook for placing all of the ptown dailies and circulars. They had a heated salt water pool with lots of comfy places around the deck to sit. They play relaxing jazzy music throughout the deck and eating area. The continental breakfast was beyond our expectation into the land of OMG! The chef is amazing! The quiche, the cakes, the house made granola, the delicious jams, fresh fruits and chi pudding and the teas served to order in lovely tea pots and proper tea cups. I had delicious brewed coffee too and next time I will take advantage of the latte and cappuccino! We were a 1/2 block from all the happenings on commercial street. It was just a wonderful experience. I hope to go there again.

Yelp
Wow, the Eben House is absolutely AMAZING. First of all, the property is GORGEOUS. The rooms are spotlessly clean and super chic while maintaining the house's original elegance and charm. The beds were crisp, white, and comfortable. Our room had a gas fireplace for warmth as well as an AC/heat unit that was easy to control. In between the building housing our room and the main building where we ate breakfast, there was a beautiful, quiet courtyard, equipped with string lights, a hammock, a bistro table and chairs, and lots of sunlight. They will have a pool in the summer (when the season is right) and plenty of lounging space for a relaxing vacation away from the city. Also, the breakfast was DELICIOUS. The bar is made up of just a few things (a few perfect things) that are all different and exciting. My husband and I have been trying to eat smaller portions but couldn't help but go back for seconds. We didn't try a single thing that we didn't like. In addition to the food, they also keep the bar stocked with coffee, orange juice, and water, AND they offer hot tea (6 kinds), cappuccino, and espresso if preferred. Finally (and most importantly), Anthony, the House Manager, went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect. When we first arrived, our room wasn't yet ready (we were very early), but he made a point to show us around the property and make us comfortable. He asked what we wanted to do that day and gave us great pointers. When we began to discuss dinner, he suggested we try one of two waterfront restaurants on Commercial Street. Not only did he print the menus out for us, but he even went as far as comparing the restaurant styles to ones I know from back in Florida (he has also lived in Florida). When we made a decision, he called the restaurant and made a dinner reservation for us. We did not ask Anthony to do any of this for us. He really went out of his way to make sure we had a seamlessly wonderful vacation, and it worked. We had the most amazing time, and I would have MORE than gladly stayed at the Eben House for months if I could. Thank you so much to everyone at the Eben House who made our long weekend away from Boston feel so relaxing (almost like home). We will DEFINITELY be coming back to stay with you all in the future.

Yelp
What an absolutely gorgeous oasis in the centre of Provincetown. We loved everything about Eben House from the exceptionally attentive and friendly staff to our fabulous suite. The breakfast which changes daily is also fabulous. We can't wait to stay here again. Thank you to the whole team at Eben House.

Francesco R.

Yelp
One of the best B&B I've ever been. We was here in December and we decided to spend this weekend here. The manager was recently changed but Chris ( the new manager) is as good and attentive as Julia (the old one). Every room is a suite I loved their paintings spread all over the property. The breakfast is absolutely scrumptious, a cook every morning makes for them fresh frittata, cakes and other delicious sweets. It's our second time and I look forward to our third!

Derrick R.

Yelp
Comfortable beds, cute bathroom with amazing water pressure in the very nice shower, and friendly staff that assured we had everything we needed. The gentlemen on the first day was spot on with his food recommendations. The breakfast was a treat every day (we also LOVED Daniel and the positive and calming energy he brought to us in the mornings). The lemon water infused upon check in was a very nice touch. We will stay again!

Yelp
We LOVED our stay here! Eben House is so pretty, charming, and well located, and the staff are very thoughtful and responsive. We came during the off season and got upgraded to one of the fanciest suites, which was such a nice surprise and SO lovely--lots of natural light, beautiful furnishings, a fireplace, and an extremely cozy bed. They also include a delicious homemade breakfast. We're vegetarians, and loved the avocado toast, breakfast scramble, and granola. Will absolutely return in the future!

Yelp
Great B & B in Ptown. Rooms are fun, clean, and comfortable. Service was great and staff extremely accommodating and helpful. My boyfriend and I decided to extend our stay due to the great time we were having. Great location and walking distance to main st. Breakfast is wonderful with great options and a delicious cappuccinos.

Ed G.

Yelp
First off, it is important to note that we are in the house (the residence) vs the Guest house. In general, the house is great. Two bedrooms are great and two are too small for extended stays. Beds are really comfortable and soap, shampoo, etc is provided. Breakfast is delivered Evey morning and that is great. Location is also great. The house is $$$$$$ (expensive) and because of that, the attention to detail needs to be superior. The kitchen is not well equipt with cooking supplies( bowls, cookware, etc) and is missing basics (a blender). Laundry is not included and for our group, that is a deal breaker. The only other issue is the ant infestation problem - you can't set anything on the counter without 20 ants (marching one by one) attacking your food. Staff is very good

Ryan S.

Yelp
Tried to call this establishment multiple times over a two day period and nobody answered the phone. There is not even an answering machine. A machine picks up and beeps like its not set up. Other sites show availability but their website shows nothing is available. We were not willing to stay somewhere that already seemed disorganized.

Jill T.

Yelp
I am currently at the Eben house. It's super cold in my room, the heater isn't working, there isn't extra blankets, and no one returns calls or answers at the after hours number we were told someone would be available at! We started calling about 8 and it's after 10. And our mini fridge doesn't work. So no heat, no blanket, no answer. The place is nice but the service seems to be non existent.

Yelp
My partner and I recently stayed at Eben House. Chris greeted us and continued to be charming and helpful throughout our stay. Eben House's aesthetic can be best described as "shabby chic." The grounds are more "shabby" than "chic." The room was serviceable, but there is very little surface space to set anything on. The breakfast entree is limited to one item, but everything is tasty. It would be nice if they offered coffee 24/7. I would probably give Eben House a 3.5-star rating.

Brook M.

Yelp
Bravo! David and Kevin have done it again with a great place in Ptown. I have stayed at their other Ptown property The Salt House Inn on two previous trips and felt that they had already set the bar very high. Well, they have really outdid it with this charming guest house Eben House! Chris Platis does such a wonderful job running this property, every detail is looked after and he really cares that you are enjoying your stay. Every morning the breakfast presentation couldn't be any more perfect! The rooms are appointed very nice and the location couldn't get anymore centered than where it is situated. The team at Eben House and Salt House Hotels really know how to make their customer happy!

Nikki O.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Eben House this summer and had a fantastic stay! The rooms were relatively smaller, however they are very quaint and the bathrooms are updated. The location couldn't have been better, just off of commercial street but far enough so the noise didn't keep us up at night. Breakfast every morning was outstanding; they have a granola bar, savory and sweet pastries, and an array of beverages. The staff was extremely helpful in providing recommendations and helping us secure dinner reservations. There is a rooftop space with lounge chairs that is perfect for a relaxing afternoon. I would definitely recommend this inn to anyone looking to enjoy the uniqueness of Provincetown.

Britta S.

Yelp
This is really a lovely place. I took my parents here for two nights. We booked two rooms that were in the main house, which were small and consisted of a bed and a chair, but they were well appointed and really cute. The beds were so comfortable and the rooms were super clean. We spent very quiet nights there and enjoyed the breakfast each morning. I would highly recommend this B&B.

Kim M.

Yelp
A wonderful little B&B. The place is absolutely charming, recently renovated and centrally located on a side street right off the city center. The rooms are very charming, fitted with comfortable beds and whimsical art. The place has three gorgeous outdoor patios as well as an indoor sitting room. Breakfast was a real treat with freshly made pastries, homemade granola, yogurts and jams and plenty more. Most of all, the staff was attentive, accommodating and very friendly. Julia who manages the place made sure we had all our needs met in the most efficient and friendly manner. Highly recommended!

Dru M.

Yelp
I was in town for a winter wedding and the Eben House was the perfect place to stay! James reached out to me before my stay and was available the whole weekend to help with any and everything. Incredibly hospitable. The room was great and had everything I needed. I would highly recommend staying here!

Rob B.

Yelp
We stayed for Spooky Bear weekend and loved it. The room and accommodations were terrific. Chris, the manager, was very knowledgeable about the history of the inn, as well as helpful about local dining, events, etc. Would definitely recommend this place.
