We have been coming here for a couple of years and absolutely love it . Great place to grab lunch with friends and family. All the staff are so friendly and amazing. They have recently changed and added a couple new places to eat inside which, by the way, are delicious!

Donella H.

Google
Great updates! It no longer smells like old oil thanks to the new air filter system. More food options than before, don't miss the food truck kiosk. Haven't tried it yet but will soon! Went for Bagl and Apres but just had to get some updated pics for all the new options!

Google
Good place w/ the exception being the burger stall (Gluttony & Graze), whose manager/owner seems to hate her job and take it out on customers. Their separate rating on google seems to bear this out. This matters, as the different stalls share a common eating area, so if I want to enjoy the great BBQ place I have to deal with the single bad owner's glares.

Josh Q.

Google
Unique place to seat on a couch and grab a fun drink & different food choices.

Google
I have been here a number of times over the years and have tried many of the restaurants. I just got back to town and a new set of place have cycled in, so I am excited to try them! The bar has very good drinks and a nice happy hour with $10 cocktails. The Compas Mexican Restaurant had delicious $1.50 street tacos on Tuesday. It's great to have a place with somewhat quieter outdoor seating in Castle Rock in the summer.

Christopher B.

Google
Fun local spot for great craft cocktails. Open layout but cozy feel. Rotating menu of seasonal cocktails and always friendly service. Have been a few times and looking forward to the next!

Google
Our bartender was Talitha. She was absolutely phenomenal! She had such a great personality and was just so friendly. The drinks she made were incredible. We would come back here just for her alone! This place has the most awesome atmosphere and some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had in Denver.

Google
First time and we'll be back! Awesome spot with food on the lower level (multiple options and all amazing!), book store on the main (didn't get a chance to check it out this time but looks so magical!), and a bar/lounge upstairs (man it takes you to a whole different world..in love). Everything was great! Sad we didn't discover this gem earlier

Yelp
This is a favorite place of mine in downtown Castle Rock. The building is an old church renovated into a bar upstairs with plenty of seating, a food court downstairs and a bookstore on-site as well. There is also an outdoor patio to enjoy your food. It's nicely shaded and adjacent to a public sidewalk. I've tried the Fish & Company restaurant and the Cuban restaurant as well. Bother great places! There was a British pantry and tea room that went out of business. Too bad as I wanted to try some of their food items. They're opening a Ramen restaurant where the British pantry was at. They also have a burger joint and a Mexican restaurant too. I will try either of these places sometime soon. The food court area has plenty of seating that feature shared tables. There is also a line of bar stools with narrow table at the back wall of the food court. After ordering and paying for your food, staff at any of the vendor restaurants will bring it to your table. Even if you're choosing to sit outside on the patio. I've also had pleasant interactions with staff whenever I dine at the food court. This is a nice good option for a lunch or dinner. Check this place out sometime! It's diagonal from the fire station. Enjoy!

Yelp
Overall a unique and interesting repurposing of space. Ecclesia Market hosts a bar, multiple restaurants and a book store within an old church building. I am not reviewing any of the specific vendors in this review but rather the overall space. There are signs around that direct you to the specific vendors as the bar and a couple of the vendors are upstairs and most of the food vendors are downstairs. One thing I felt was missing is the ability to order from your table. Even though many of the vendors have screens you can order from, having a QR code where you can place all of your orders in one location (even though you would have to pick them up from the respective vendor) and pay centrally would make Ecclesia much more appealing. Outside of that this place is cool, it has a great chill vibe and some interesting vendors that span a variety of tastes.

Yelp
Problem is we didn't order any drinks! We ordered dessert, and three lunch items...Sorry but I won't be visiting anytime soon

Yelp
My first time here when any of the individual businesses were actually open. We came by on a Thursday night for the 'Taylor Swift birthday celebration' at Sinners and Saints upstairs. It was a bit too loud for me (ya, guess I'm old now), so we spent some time downstairs. The Romo's tacos looks good, as does the Arayes Lebanese restaurant. I'm guessing we'll be back at some point to grab some food at one of these places and take it upstairs for a beer, especially if there is some entertainment going on that interests us.

Yelp
Had lunch with a friend and we came here. I like the atmosphere. Street parking. She had never been and she ordered Romo's Tacos while I had Fish and Company. Also ordered to go from Garlic & Spice Kitchen. The associates from Fish and Company and Garlic and Spice were great. The Garlic and Spice guy was amazing. Good place to eat.

Yelp
A amazing place to spend time with family or adults, this is definitely a place for all, hence the name Saints and Sinners. This venue has flower shops , various eateries~ the food is fresh and prepared to perfection. There is a ice cream shop, that taste good a nice crisp evening. You can play board games and card games. You can sit -socialize and enjoy the environment. The venue allows individuals easy access for all. Staff is friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Time slips away from you.

Yelp
We came here for Sabrosura de Miami. Had no idea that there was a "market concept." It's great!! We walked into the Sinners & Saints entrance. I love the vibe, and definitely want to go back for a drink. You can also order food from downstairs and eat it in the comfortable, elegant bar area. We walked down the stairs, past the patio, and into a mini food court with four places in one! We had an amazing lunch from Sabrosura, but are planning a return trip to try the other offerings, as well as cocktails at Sinners and Saints. We had cantaloupe agua fresca from Romo's. Yum!! Bit too sweet for me, but very refreshing. There is a separate entrance for the food court and the bookstore. We can't wait to go back and try Romo's, Garlic & Spice, and Fish & Co! There's also a cute little British food place, although I was not enchanted with bangers and mash at the last place I tried them. They do have Yorkshire pudding. Yum! We were thrilled to find this teeny-tiny version of Grange Hall! On a Sunday afternoon, it was quiet and there was plenty of seating. No children at all :) A very quiet, fun place for lunch. Most places do close early, so check before going.

Yelp
The restaurants here are so undertrafficked that they are not prepared for guests during their last hour of opening. It's a pity because the food offerings are pretty good. There's a ramen place coming and a lot of variety. Unfortunately, not a whole lot of vegetarian or vegan options though. I think that would really make the place!

Yelp
Great atmosphere, very cool place with good music and nice ambience. Great drinks and I love the variety of food! Definitely will be back

Yelp
The last 'many' times I tried Fish and Company, it was (is?) the best clam chowder I've had (and I grew up in New England). Today's batch was a little flat tasting... but it's been so good before... I'm hoping this is just an off batch. That said... I paid for 3 bowls. They filled 2 bowls, snapped the caps securely onto the take out container... (Ie a full bowl) then realized they only had enough (scraping the bottom of the barrel) for just a smidge in the third bowl. Instead of saying they only had 2 bowls worth (and offering to refund)... the guy started pouring chowder out of the first two to make three 2/3 full bowls. When asked what he was doing, he said "well, I put too much in the first two". Regardless on the standard 'full' level... this just seemed shady. We asked him to just take the third one back and refund us. They response was disdain. I'll go back cause the kids working the counter are normally great and the chowder is typically much better. But now... I'm sadly, uncharacteristically hesitant.

Yelp
Stopped here to try the fish and chips. The fish was amazing! The chips were different and cooked a little long as they were pretty crispy, but the ones that weren't super crispy were really good! I'll have to come back and try another place!
google avatar

Kristin L.

Yelp
Something for everyone in here! All of the restaurants I have tried here are delicious, fresh and fast! Such a little gem in Castle Rock!

Yelp
Tried out Fish n Co this past weekend. Ordered the fish n chips. It was delicious! Breading to fish ratio was perfect, good flavor, not greasy! The tartar sauce was yummy and the "chips"(fries) were great! Not too soft not too crispy. 4/5 of us are there and all agreed! The hubby tried the Street Taco place and got the 3 shrimp tacos. He said it was real good, just surprised at the spice level. We then made our way to the Sudden Fiction bookstore upstairs. Love that place! Huge array of new and used books (as well as coloring books, puzzles, etc) in a great welcoming environment. They also have a small bar area as well for coffee and beer. The owners are great as well, very friendly and helpful. We will be back!!

Jan B.

Yelp
Lots of food options in this cute little food hall. A nice vibe. You can sit inside or there's outdoor seating available. You can take food upstairs to Sinners and Saints - a fun bar with a cool mural and rotating exhibits of local artist. Also check out the book store and flower shop

Kendal U.

Yelp
This place is so amazingly different. The choices of excellent food are so vast and the ambiance is comfortable. People are actually really engaging with each other as there are not tv's to distract like in most bars, but the focus is kept on personal relationships. It's a special place.

Benjamin T.

Yelp
Would give 4 stars but the seating layout upstairs is complete dogshit tbh Weird placement for a group of two, tall glass tables more like small glass tables that are extremely sketchy Bench chairs is kinda weird, table too small. 8/10 would recommend food

Yelp
We absolutely love coming here. Great variety and such a cool ambiance! Dine in or outside depending on the weather.

Yelp
Jacob the GM was nothing but rude and disrespectful when we came in. He made it very clear from the minute we sat down he didn't want us there. They were closing at 10, we arrived at 9:00, he stated last call was in 10 minutes so I tried to order two drinks he immediately says "no, for you only one" I asked why, and he said "because I said so" with a big grin on his face. After that interaction, we decided we would spend our money elsewhere. I then asked for his business card and the owners and he refused to give me both. Owner should probably start looking for a new GM who cares about the business because he made it very clear he doesn't with the way he speaks to costumers. We went to the whiskey bar down the street and the bartender was nothing but kind and happily served us until they closed at 10.

Yelp
What a fun find! Coming back in a week from Wednesday for the art show! Stopped in for a cocktail with a $1 off for shopping at the art festival in today. Great open concept in a former church. A wonderfully refreshing cab sauv blanc with a fresh grapefruit finish especially needed on this toasty day! Very friendly staff whose wives are painted into the glorious heaven/hell, saints/sinners mural. . . they are on the saint's side, thank heaven!

Yelp
Fish and Company is delicious. The bar upstairs is great to. Great place to eat, drink and have good conversation! There was a place that even had a British tea party going on. Sounds like so much fun!!!
google avatar

Heather M.

Yelp
I like the bar area and the book store. The choices for food are still a work in progress. Having a cocktail here is relaxing and fairly quiet.

Yelp
Sometime NEW in Castle Rock. 1) Bar, ( Saints and Sinners) with eclectic seating and tables 2) Food kiosks, Mexican, seafood, ice cream, brats. I had oysters and fish and chips ( yum) 3) Pool tables and games 4) Library 5) Gourmet market (FarmGirl) We (7) went on the Dia de los Muertes ( Saturday). It was crowded but manageable. Great vibe. Dancing. Tarot cards. Fun!!

Yelp
I had the Plowman's lunch yesterday at the British Cafe and it was great, as was the tomato soup. My wife loved the cheesy waffles. The waffle batter was Yorkshire pudding batter. Highly recommend the cafe. The fish & chips place was gross. They use Pacific cod instead of Atlantic cod, so the flavor is fishier. The chips were really soggy and the fried batter on the fish tasted of oil that should have been changed, but wasn't. I was thankful for Altoids to remove the foul after-taste. They were the worst fish & chips I've ever tasted. Prices were high relative to GB Fish. If you're really in the mood for good fish & chips (or other good things) go to GB fish on Broadway just south of I-25. Maybe this place is usually better, but today it was awful. I'll be surprised if it stays in business.

Yelp
Wonderful lounge setting in a historic church in downtown Castle Rock! This is a hidden gem. Amazing service and drink options. Bar lounge upstairs and yummiest food options downstairs! A must experience!
google avatar

Yelp
The best place to go for a family day or a date night with your significant other! Best fish and chips in town at fish & company ! Sinners and saints has a very spacious and comfortable setting ( and amazing drinks ). Very impressed with each vendor at this unique location .

Michael R.

Yelp
Good bar, wish I could visit more often, but oddly early close time on Sunday (my only day off) makes it difficult.

Austin J.

Yelp
Drinks and food were OK. But with such a bad name, I didn't think the service could be even worse. But I was wrong. Took an hour to get two drinks, got double-charged for something, food places closed early when the website said they were open. Just a disappointing mess.

Yelp
Awesome little market with great food options a diverse menu and places to order fresh food and a wonderful patio in downtown Castle Rock across from the Barn

Priscilla M.

Yelp
The concept of this place is so unique. We accidentally stumbled upon this bar and were so glad we did. A great bar with awesome service, prices are super reasonable. The game room is pretty cool, we can't wait to bring people here when they visit. The little German food spot downstairs is soo delicious, the father son team is great and take care if you. Can't wait to go back!

Madi M.

Yelp
I got ice cream from the British bakery and ew. The server did not wear a mask or gloves and had extremely dirty fingernails. He seemed very confused and struggled to serve ice cream. All of the cones were broken so I got a bowl, but didn't even finish it because his dirty fingernails and sweaty, sniffly face ruined my appetite.

Yelp
We were really looking forward to checking this place out. Weird cold vibe from moment walked in. We sat at the bar for over 10 minutes before being acknowledged.. 4 very frantic bartenders working: 1 making drinks, the other 3 arguing over who's phone would be used for the bar speaker music for the night. Got 2 tap beers, paid cash... bartender tipped himself out of our change. Um.. ok then.... we slammed our beers and moved on.. new place good luck ! Won't be back..

Yelp
A twist on the food hall concept (of which I'm fond of). The majority of the upstairs is Saint's and Sinners (the bar). It's still in its beginning stages and only on track to get better but when we were there the bookstore and market store were closed and we only had the choice of Romo's Mexican but we were not disappointed. I'm contemplating going back tomorrow to try something else on the menu. Vegetarian friendly HOORAY! We got there, found two comfy swivel chairs in a corner and Molly was there right away.
google avatar

Bryce F.

Yelp
Great open market concept. Food vendors are wonderful, priced well, with unmatched food quality. Bar is very impressive. Bartenders are helpful and knowledgeable, and their first cocktail list does not disappoint. Great place to bring friends for a night out. Lots of different choices in the seating area. Intimate 2-person tables, cozy couches, and even a large community-style table. I will definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
This is a great new addition to Castle Rock! We ate lunch there and got a coffee. I will definitely be back at night to enjoy the bar area and game area. This place is very well done and the locally owned and operated restaurants, shops and bars are top notch. We received excellent service from Jordan at the Saints and Sinners bar, Greg, the owner of Lante Brau Casa, and from Melissa the proprietor of farmgirl foods. I will definitely be back! Can't wait to play pool, foosball, video games, hang out with friends on comfy couches, and more! Well done!

Yelp
Ecclesia is unique with something for everyone. Not sure what the last reviewer was talking about... There were two food venders, street tacos and German food. The staff, service and food was excellent. We tried several different things. The chorizo street tacos and pretzel with beer cheese were favorites. There was a cute little store that sold local food items. I bought small batch homemade lemonade concentrate, strawberry basil! I also bought some local spice mixes. There was a room with arcade games and a pool table. The upstairs bar area was large, decorated eclectically but very tasteful, comfortable with a great vibe. The waitress was dressed in her Sunday best and very friendly and quick. I thought they had a great mix of beer, wine and modern cocktails. I would highly recommend Ecclesia.
google avatar

Rylie W.

Yelp
Great place, unique beer selection and nice atmosphere! Love the vibe, colors and mixture of textures and materials! Neat game room area and I like the food court in the basement that delivers up to the bar!
google avatar

Jeff P.

Yelp
Very cool new concept with very well done design. The space just feels great. Terrific service, creative cocktail menu, and the food offerings look great as well (today we're just doing toddys).

Samantha G.

Yelp
Wow! This place was amazing!! I met a group of friends here for some drinks and had a great time. They had an acoustic soloist playing that was incredible and really added to the ambiance of the place. They had a wide liquor selection and a creative drink list that fit the concept. Service was great. I didn't eat but they seemed to have a good variety of food downstairs. I had never been but I will definitely be back!!
google avatar

Jordan A.

Yelp
An awesome concept, do it yourself style market, where you're able to roam freely with drinks and food! 4 different food vendors soon will add even more draw to this new gem!

John S.

Yelp
My first time here .. paid $ 150 for tickets ... bar tender told me to go fuck myself .... thanks

Julie K.

Yelp
Amazing food from Romos, we had street tacos, burrito, enchilada. The meat was very flavorful and tender, salsa fresh and delicious. You can eat the food upstairs in the large bar area, downstairs in the food court, or outside. Espresso from FarmGirl was very nice. This place is the most unique offering in Castle Rock. Very cool!

Tim K.

Yelp
We decided to try Ecclesia for the first time. Unfortunately, we failed to be impressed. The limited bar menu, and food menu doesn't offer much of a variety. We decided to sit on the patio to enjoy the nice weather and all we got was the worst sewer smell ever. It was disgusting to say the least. The bar staff on the other hand were helpful and took great care of us. Unfortunately not enough to get us back through the door..
