Eckerlin's Meats

Come in for your fresh meats and order a sandwich if you need one! I stoped in early morning to notice the newly renovated space (as of 2025) before heading into Findlay market and had a great roast beef sandwich. Definitely keeping this one in mind for the future.

There is no better breakfast sandwich in Cincy than their Goetta Egg and Cheese! My husband and I love it here and it’s one of our first stops when we have out of town guests. Their butcher shop and team are also excellent.

Of course it's Famous Eckerlin Meats. Still the best butcher in Cincinnati. I enjoyed the eating room in back - great service! My Sausage Egg & Cheese was the best I've ever had (and filling too). It seats a couple of dozen including at the bar, which has a nice selection. Also, there's a huge TV plus other ones.

My wife and I made our first visit to the Findlay Market area. We were extremely pleased with Eckerlin’s. Staff were so friendly. My wife enjoys German foods and I do too but a young man behind the counter said the burger is the best. My wife enjoyed her bratwurst and I did get the burger. It was a burger that could be on a weekly rotation for me. Delicious, juicy and the trimmings were just right. Loved the hand cut fries made in house. If you are a person that loves going to the county fair and getting the hand cut fries this is the place for you. They were great! If you are a Culver’s crinkle cut super crispy fry… these are not the ones, you can taste potato with the Eckerlin fries. My wife inquired about their Goetta… next thing we know they fried up a sample and gave it to us. Don’t pass this place by.

my family and I have been going here for years. they make the best goetta around with a great flavor. the goetta is not too salty and not greasy. we also love the sausages, steaks and poultry. on every visit, we like to take home pin wheels. they are prepared steaks stuffed with cheese and mushrooms. they are so delicious cooked on a griddle or cast iron skillet. this year Eckerlin moved locations and added a meat tasting room. we're super excited about this and we tried it for the first time today. the burger was excellent and the fries were very well prepared. good beers on tap too.

Awesome selection, top notch. Snag a beer and your meat fixings and you'll spend 500 easy then eat like a king. Love making a day of it!

Nice area for the restaurant to be in but their fries were not fresh and the Reuben sandwich that was made for me was short on the meat. The first time I came the lady was ringing me up in the register with gloves and went to start making my sandwich with the same gloves. When I asked her if she was gonna change them she did but sandwich meat was shortened. I probably won’t come back due to this issue with our food.

Outstanding meat. Wide selection. Great prices. They have breakfast and lunch sandwiches and bar and the nicest bathrooms in cincinnati. Great customer service and staff are family. Can not say enough praise
