Highly recommend you stay in this hostel. We had a very good room, and all the services were provided. It has a very good location. We had our wedding in Barcelona and the hostel wrote a beautiful note and gave us a small present. That was a very nice gesture from them. As well, we needed a couple things for our preparation and they helped in everything. I love their concept about recycling. They have a rooftop and a dinning room. One suggestion is to provide a closet faith drawers.

Staying here is a must in Barcelona. THE cutest hotel. Perfect location right off Las Ramblas. Easy walk to the Gothic Quarter. Easy access to the Metro or taxis. The people were so friendly. The room was spacious and clean and with a great “aura”. The rooftop bar is private and perfect. Lovely house wine for only €2.50 per glass every evening at happy hour. You can’t go wrong booking this hotel.

We stayed here while visiting Barcelona for a few days. We chose this hotel as it was wheelchair accessible. When we arrived, there had been an error and we had been allocated a non-disabled friendly room. However, when we alerted them to this, they immediately took steps to allocate us the correct room. We all make mistakes, but it’s how we deal with them that, in my eyes, says how good (or bad!) you are - and the hotel was very, very good. ||The room we were given was large and even though next to the street, very quiet. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom clean and modern. The hotel is located a few minutes’ walk from Las Ramblas and the playa de Catalunya. There is a rooftop bar and the breakfast is provided in a homely environment. |I was also impressed by the recycling bins placed next to each lift. |All in all, a high recommendation from all of us!

What a fantastic little hotel! It’s close to a main road and well situated in the Gothic neighborhood. We stayed there with a tour group, but we would come back on our own. Service was a great, the room we had was spacious and clean. It felt like we were experiencing Spain and not staying in a typical American hotel. Their breakfast was quaint and delicious. And the air conditioning in the room worked well! They have a cute rooftop too. Highly recommend!

We throughly enjoyed our stay as a family of four (two teenagers) in one of the two bedroom apartments. The hostess who checked us in was very welcoming and informative. The apartment was spotlessly clean and comfortable. We opted for breakfast which was really good. And we loved the rooftop bar and neighbouring tapas bar. Although we were very central, the hotel was not noisy and we slept well. We would definitely stay again.

First: the location was ideal, central and well served by transport links. Although central is extremely busy its happily located in a quiet side road. The building itself is very stylish and homely. It's very welcome to be able to help yourself to hot + cold drinks any time of day or night. A sanctuary after a day of heat + sightseeing! The rooms were most gratefully air-conditioned, cool, clean, simple but stylish. Quality of beds and shower excellent. Breakfast was freshly prepared, fruits, cereals, bread, cakes, meats, salads and eggs/omelettes cooked to order. The roof terrace is a lovely chilled place to sit/relax and have a drink when not too hot. Last but not least, the staff are on hand 24/7, friendly, informative and welcoming. We appreciate the ethos of way the hotel is run in respecting both people and environment combined. A very happy experience :-)

We love Eco Hostal Grau! It truly is one of the best, most central places to stay in the city, and has such personal touches that you don't find in chain hotels. Beds are always comfy, rooms always clean, and the rooftop views are beautiful. Can't wait to come back for a third stay and more!

We stayed at this property from 1st to 4th October.||Amazing position, near to plaza Catalunya and accessible to all the transport (Aerobus, metro and bus bringing you to the main places in Barcelona).||Staff at the reception very friendly and helpful for any suggestion to visit the best places in the city, and giving you solution about which bus ticket better to buy.||The room is very simple but with everything: shampoo and shower gel (amazing smell) and same for the soap. |Towels are also provided by the hotel.||You receive also "coins" to use on the rooftop to have drink or something to bite and receive 1 euro discount per person, per day. The rooftop is very amazing, especially after a full day rounding in Barcelona where you can relax with some relaxing music, and is open from 18:00 to 23:00. ||We will for sure suggest to our friend as we feel really good.||Also, even if is near to the city center, in the night is not noisy.||We had also a room with a small balcony and we really appreciate.
