The food at this place was amazing in every sense. Solid oyster selection. However, the attention to detail and costumer service is what makes Eddie's an absolute star for special occasions. We came here to celebrate my wife's birthday, and it definitely was the right choice. They left a personalized birthday card at the table along with some flower petals, the card was signed by every crew member and everyone from the hostess to the server personally congratulated her several times. The courtesy birthday dessert has its own little show and we liked it so much we got another one. Our server Adam was very knowledgeable with everything related to the menu and pairings, but his top quality was his outstanding costumer service. Last but not least, there was live jazz at the lounge so we moved over there after our dinner to have a drink and enjoy the music. No worries, the Jazz wasn't crazy loud so you can still have a conversation comfortably. 5 stars.

My husband planned a special evening for my 34th birthday, and thanks to the incredible team here, it turned out to be absolutely brilliant. The service was flawless—attentive without being intrusive, warm, and genuinely caring. Every detail was clearly thought through, from the personalized touches to the seamless flow of the evening. And the food… wow. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. What truly stood out was the attention to detail. How they remembered our names, timed everything just right, it all added up to an experience that felt both luxurious and deeply personal. This wasn’t just a dinner—it was a memory made. 5 stars all around! We came here to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary. The food was so good, every bite was delicious and all the flavors were so well balanced and thoughtful. On top of the food being amazing, our server Gianna was an absolute gem! She was very knowledgeable about the menu including food and drinks, and her personality was charming and bubbly. If you need a good place to splurge, you will not be disappointed coming here.

First off, best service ever! Chardae was exceptional. I felt like she was a long lost friend. She was so fun, personable and attentive. We came for happy hour and stayed for dessert and after dinner espresso martinis. Highly recommend the happy hour mini filet sandwiches, south African lobster and tuna on rice.

Absolutely delicious. The oysters were fresh with no grit, the sashimi perfectly seasoned. The filet mignon was smooth, buttery, and light. The Hope Diamond cocktail packed a uniquely flavorful punch, which was greatly appreciated. Lovely environment, smooth jazz enveloped the room as diners enjoyed their courses.

We had a fantastic meal here on our last night in Austin, we went straight in for mains as we don't have the biggest appetites - my wife had the halibut special and I had the Ahi tuna, both were amazing and so were the sides. The service was brilliant and we got a complimentary mixed desert. We walked in with no reservation and got seated straight away, but we did arrive after the peak time. We highly recommend eating here if you're in town.

We came in for Thanksgiving and it was incredible!!! The service was amazing even though it was busy! We had the Thanksgiving special which had turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce, and yams! The food was so good and the staff was so friendly! I’m grateful we spent Thanksgiving here! Thanks for the great service from Whitney!

Seated at our reserved time. Our server was excellent, informed and attentive. Our party began with crab cakes and calamari. Both were excellent, fresh and very tasty. Our party ordered the sea bass, which is a generous portion of delicious White Sea bass grilled perfectly. We also ordered the 10 oz fillet which was perfectly prepared and tender. The grilled taste was exquisite and made us savor every bite. I personally ordered the chef special red fish- pan seared and lightly breaded dotted with a covering of crab meat. For our sides We enjoyed char grilled brussel sprouts and delicious au gratin potatoes. The restaurant was busy but the noise level was not restrictive. The price of the entrees are high, but the food is special.

Eddie V's put the "art" in "culinary arts." I brought my appetite and Eddie gave me aesthetics, aromatics, and all-good eats. From the flamed desserts to the silky smooth cocktails, this place provided both a feast for thy eyes and thy stomach. If you have the deep pockets, treat yourself to all 3 courses; yes, grab two appetizers before that steak comes out sizzling. I can't say what this place specializes in but I don't want to limit their menu, your mind, and your munchies. We had seafood fried rice, steak, and lobster tacos. In the teaching world, we advocate for interdisciplinary studies to make a scholar well-rounded. So, in cooking terms, this place has intercultural dishes and a variety of dishes to provide a well-rounded meal for you and a dear lover or friend. Prepare to pay! For those of us with tight pockets, not deep ones, this place will not necessarily break the bank so to speak but it will make you loosen that belt. Eddie V, stay artistic and authentic! And oh, instead of "bad to the bone," the steak was "good to the bone." Teacher-approved!

Valet - $15 Live music - yes Happy hour - yes Seating Style: high tops, low tables, bar side Service - friendly, fast, professional Food - wow! Definitely somewhere to go for a celebration or solid night out. We got the filet minion, truffle Mac n cheese, seared ahi tuna entree, smoked bourbon (order it!) All the food was perfectly cooked, made to order, and seasoned well without too much salt. The truffle Mac and cheese is one of the best I've ever had. We would come here again and order even the same options - it was delicious! We also came here for a special occasion and they made us feel welcome and sent us some surprises! If you ever want to celebrate a special occasion, I strongly suggest coming here. Our server, Miguel, was attentive, helpful oj recommendations, and quietly present. We loved having him around- great personality that was professional and still allowed us our private moments.

I have been to their other location and enjoyed it so was looking forward to trying this one. We booked a room in the book since we were a larger group. The food and service were on point. Was not blown away but everyone left happy.

Dinner was fantastic. Service was minimum of 5 stars; everyone is super nice. The restaurant is slight;y upscale and very elegant!! Perfect place for a date night because it has dim lighting during the evening. The cocktails were all so great. Espresso martinis were amazing. Cosmopolitan was also great. Had a white fish dish that was flaky yet juicy at the same time. The sauce was fantastic! The asparagus and potato side dishes were also tasty and filling. Will have to come back!

We recently visited Eddie V's downtown during their Sunday Happy Hour, and it was a delightful experience. As part of our mission to introduce classic Austin restaurants to our friends who are relatively new in town, Eddie V's proved to be a hidden gem for many of them. VIBES! The atmosphere at the bar area during Happy Hour was lively and inviting. Our server, Shay, made our experience even more delightful and enjoyable. We took advantage of discounted cocktails and wines, setting the tone for a wonderful evening. The menu featured a thoughtfully curated selection of appetizers, giving us a taste of Eddie V's regular staples and classic dishes. EATS! Among the highlights from the Happy Hour menu were the mini filet sandwiches, a popular choice that satisfied both tables, along with the crab cake, prime steak tataki, black truffle tartare, lamb chops, and the ever-popular crab cake. We also indulged in some items from the regular dinner menu, with notable mentions including a unique and satisfying warm goat cheese salad. NOTE! It's worth noting that some items become available only when dinner service starts. The grand finale of our meal was the bananas foster, which stole the show with its decadence and provided a perfect conclusion to an overall delicious dining experience. Eddie V's consistently delivers on both quality and variety, making it a perfect choice for a memorable evening out. Whether it's a regular dinner in the main dining room or a relaxed Sunday Happy Hour at the bar, Eddie V's is sure to impress with its delicious offerings and inviting ambiance.

Server was great, crab fried rice delicious and gluten free , and the oysters were to die for! Great job y'all!

I was skeptical going in bc of the high prices but the food was awesome!! Waiter was super nice with an obviously upscale ambiance. We started with the shellfish tower - fresh and delicious but high price point, and lobster bisque. Then went with Parmesan Sole, Mediterranean branzino, scallops, and truffle Mac and cheese - entire family was very happy I especially liked the sole and the Mac and cheese it was so creamy!! Finally finished it off with the Belgian chocolate cake - chocolate cake and vanilla bean ice cream will always be an elite combo you can't change my mind :)

We were celebrating R's birthday at downtown Eddie V's. We started with Perfect Margarita and Hope Diamond signature drinks. We had a selection of East Coast Oysters that were awesome. We had Au Gratin Cheddar potatoes to accompany R's Branzino and my Crab Stuffed Gulf Shrimp. The entrees were prepared perfectly. Charlie took great care of us from start to finish. There was a beautiful complementary dessert for R's birthday. Another great evening at one of Austin's best.

This is definitely a romantic/special occasion type of place. The ambiance has dim lighting, and majority of patrons are dressed up. The service is fantastic. The food is wonderful. Ordered the seafood special, which was a redfish, and it was delicious. The accompaniments are large and basically an entree. The Brussel sprouts were good too. My husband loved his food too. Expect a large bill, but totally worth it.

An elegant restaurant that delivers quality food. My boyfriend and I went to Eddie V's on New Year's Eve as we were new to the area and were craving steak and seafood. The staff at the restaurant made the evening special as they passed around beaded necklaces and complimentary champagne! The pianist was also a special touch. I ordered the lobster tail with steak and it was delicious. The lobster tails were large and buttery, and the steak was tender, flavorful, and cooked to medium-rare perfection. On the side, we ordered brussel sprouts and they were pretty tasty as well but not as memorable as the main dish.

Walked here from my hotel for dinner. The staff was amazing and made great suggestions! My meal was amazing and I had two glasses of wine. There was a pianist there that played wonderful music. Will definitely come back when I'm in Austin

The food and service were absolutely incredible and what you'd expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Go prepared as dress requirements here are a strict business casual or better. The wife and I split a 10 ounce center cut Wagyu filet mignon and two South African lobster tails with drawn butter. I will be having dreams about the lobster tail for months! The filet was perfectly seared and cooked to a precise medium which just melted in the mouth. A five star review for an overall five star experience! I will save my loose change all of next year and go back for sure!

What you'd expect from a high-end steak place but Eddie V's does it even better. Fantastic staff, attentive and professional. The food is great and the wine list robust but really not crazy. They price wine to be drunk (is that the right grammar?!?). Visit the original Eddie V's and the measure all the others by the standard they set!

Eddie's consistently delivers time and time again. Filet cooked rare was grilled to perfection. Wedge salad was very good and roasted Brussels were some of the best we have had. Super deep wine list. Awesome evening inspired mostly by our wait staff Joshua

Excellent service! The food was amazing. Eddie V's never disappoints. My server Alexis was phenomenal. Her recommendations were perfect. She was pleasant and very warn. Dimmed lighting, clean dinning room. From valet to dining room 5 stars. I ordered so many things, and each dish was delicious. The sashimi was chef's kiss! Those oysters are amazing. Very classy restaurant with absolutely excellent service. From the moment, we entered, Camille and her team graciously invited and welcomed us to our table set with a beautiful white tablecloth ready for our birthday celebration including a greeting card adorned with rose petals- a very nice touch indeed. Fantastic food including an ice cold wedge salad, perfectly cooked filet mignon and tasty sides. Don't forget to try the bananas foster, set ablaze table side. Special thanks to Max who ensured everything was perfect for our evening and checked in with us frequently.

Once again another fantastic evening and birthday celebration with a wonderful meal, cocktails and service from an amazing team of professionals especially from our husband and wife team who are superstars in every way. It's fascinating to watch how well synchronized the entire team is with each other which creates a wonderful seamless experience for the diners. Excellent seafood, great service and a great downtown location. The seafood here is some of the best in Austin. Fresh and tasty across the board. Raw oysters were perfect. The variety may change based on availability but you know you are getting something good every time. The crab stuffed jumbo shrimps were outstanding. Cooked to perfection, plump and tasty. Crab bisque was perfectly seasoned. If you are looking for top notch seafood, this is the place. Service was friendly and prompt.

The food is always awesome, the live band is always again awesome. The service can be hit or miss (at the bar). On an avg night I've been ignored and on a night like tonight a busy one I got messed over not once, but twice for a seat because a regular walked in after me and they gave them the seat i was promised. I get that you wanna take care of regulars but getting messed over two times. They eventually did me right after I my death stare reassuring them "I saw what ya did", I will say one of bartenders owned up to it when I brought to his attention. I told him "I get it, that don't mean I like it" Once finally seated things were smooth, guys were attentive and per usual everything served was pretty darn good to delicious.

It was our anniversary. They decorated the table so nicely!! I got a broccolini, filet mignon and added scallops. Among them, the scallops were the best!! Well cooked and super fresh. The steak was also good but the broccolini was too dry... The service was really friendly and nice I will go back for my special day.

My Filet was great. The staff was good and really liked the place. We did a 3 night stake challenge. Eddie V, Capt Grill and then STK. it was close but Capt Grill did win by a hair. Eddie V's was so so close. Great steak. STK not even close. I love Eddie V's eat at them all over the country, If you need a place for a business dinner or a date this is the place.

Pretty amazing restaurant. First time here , and did not know what to expect. Went to the bar area and started with a simple Old Fashioned. It was made classically, with a large ice cube, and Luxardo cherry. Very tasty. Our event was served buffet style, and although I'm not a fan of buffets. This one was amazing. Can you say lobster , shrimp and oyster towers? Man, when you see that, you gotta try all of them. And even thought they were buffet style, the quality was excellent. I was so excited! Tried them all and went back for seconds. I fact , they were so good, I really didn't have time for the meats and sides served in the center of the room. Table service at the event was top notch with white coat bow tie service. They kept the drinks coming and the tables clean. Great service, venue and especially the wonderful seafood.

There weren't any reservations open for an hour and a half so we tried sitting at the bar. Gary welcomed us and got us drinks and when there were seats available came right out to find us and get us seated. I had a mocktail he made of a ginger mule. So tasty! For dinner we had the lobster bisque, the Parmesan sole, the sea bass and brussel sprouts. Wow, the fish was cooked perfectly. For dessert we had the chocolate cake with ice cream and Gary brought us a tiny taste of the banana foster. The desserts are super. You must order dessert. We really enjoyed our dinner. But really, why did we have such a nice experience? This: Eddie V's really has a gem in Gary. He really knows how to make a person feel welcomed and relaxed in the restaurant. He elevated our experience. Even though we were at the bar we had a superior experience. His thoughtful service (and the lady and the waiters) to us made it so great. Thank you! We will definitely come back when visit Austin again!

I am not a seafood person so was thankful for a few "non" selections and the fact that it did not smell fishy Filet was very good, but I'm not sure I would go there just for that.. bread was wonderful, wine selection great, and desserts amazing. My wife liked her SeaBass.. neither of us ate the Oysters. I tried some lobster but did not enjoy it. Service was fantastic, but that was expected based on the prices.

Overall Score 4.6 out of 5 It was hard for me to take pictures because it was dark but the oysters were amazing! Definitely get the crabcake you'll thank me later . And for dinner, I have the file with the lobster tail which I highly recommend. Service was phenomenal and overall a great experience.

First time at this restaurant. Service is simply superb! We had reservations for our anniversary and we were surprised by all the attention we got. For mains, I wasn't sure if I should go with the gulf shrimp or the scallops, so Ken, our server, made me a special dish with both in a gluten free version. The scallops were very sweet and the toasted almonds were the perfect combination with it, bringing some texture and more fatty flavor. The crab filled shrimp was simply amazing, a bit spicy, but some very decent pieces of crab over perfectly cooked jumbo shrimp. Hubby decided to go with the special: 2 fillet mignon medallions cooked to perfection! Both very tender and pink on the inside. They melt on your mouth! For dessert, they brought us a complimentary gluten free chocolate mousse. Really big and flavorful.

Tip of the week. Come during happy hour sit at the bar. Order Eddie Rockefeller, Bone in New York strip and banana foster for dessert. The steak was cooked perfectly. Buttery fat with incredible beef flavor. Haven't had a steak like that in awhile. Will be coming back next time I'm in town.

As a first time experience, I was highly disappointed. Especially after seeing all the good reviews and all my Dallas friends bragging about it. We arrived at 7:42pm for a 7:45pm reservation. They seated us 10 minutes later, not too bad. They had a happy anniversary sign at our table with a few rose petals. Our waiter took our order about 5 minutes after we sat down and I had a specific request to have all the food brought out at the same time. Now with that being said - that's the kitchens responsibility to time things properly so that all of the food comes out hot at once. We ordered Brussels sprouts, crab fried rice, goat cheese salad, truffle Mac n cheese, lobster tacos, and the 18oz New York strip steak. Everything came out at once as requested, but the Mac n cheese and the Brussels sprouts were cold. REALLY UNHAPPY about that! The crab fried rice was hot but it was drowning in soy sauce! I couldn't taste the crab or any other flavors because the soy sauce was so overbearing. I'm assuming this chef was heavy handed because - NO! Just no smh. There was more garnishing on the tacos than lobster itself. My husbands steak was good but I don't think it was a full 18oz in comparison to others I've seen on here. Not $57 worth. Our waiter literally only checked on us ONCE and it was before our food was served. I wouldn't come back here if y'all paid me. Dinner was $154. This would've been better spent at Ruth's Chris or Flemings. Only reason I give it 2 stars is because I liked the ambiance. Very sad.

Just a perfect spot. Live music, excellent atmosphere, delightful drinks and deserts. We had the oysters on the half shell, delicious! Service was above and beyond my expectations. Can not recommend enough!!

Came here for a anniversary and the food was amazing! Their truffle mac and cheese is the best thing I have ever had. I wish the host was as good as our server. We arrived 5 minutes late to our reservation, and he made us wait an extra 25 minutes to be seated at the table that had been waiting for us prior to our reservation. I felt disappointed and annoyed that he was not as eager to seat us with a reservation as he was with other guests on a waitlist. The restaurant is huge, and I love the dimmed lights. We were treated very special by our server, she was the best! E.V served us complimentary champagne and yummy dessert to top off the amazing night. Love the presentation and I would definitely visit this location again!

We snagged a seat at the bar at about 6:45pm and felt pretty lucky. The service was fantastic and the drinks were delicious! The food was perfect, which is what we have come to expect from the Arbor location. The shrimp cocktail was fresh and the shrimp were meaty. The lobster tacos were tasty and filled with plenty of lobster chunks. The scallops were perfectly seared and seasoned. You get five, which makes it a more filling scallop dish. There was live music in the bar area, which was delightful. The restaurant is classy but not stuffy. Couldn't be happier with the service and experience at the bar!

I am very picky on places and steakhouses. I've been to many. Really many. There is really nothing can impress me. Eddie Vs is exceptional though. My friend recommended me to stop by and I didn't regret that. I got an 8oz fillet and lobster tail. I haven't had such a soft and precisely cooked steak in a while. Lobster was good as well. We got truffle mashed potatoes as well. The taste was amazing. Now I want to visit their Houston location, hopefully it's good as well. The only thing was that one of the martini glasses was cracked, but I noticed only when I finished the drink.

An outstanding experience from the beginning to the end. We started with wonderful friendly valet service and finished with an excellent meal. Each dish that was ordered was excellent. Every person in our 7-person party ordered both an appetizer and a seafood entree and all diners enjoyed their meal. Service was excellent; attentive but not overbearing. We wanted for nothing. We also found the atmosphere upscale and enjoyable. It's an expensive night out but portions and quality were all excellent. Make sure to try Eddie V's. You won't be disappointed.

We decided to try Eddie V's for New Year's Eve and were not disappointed! Not only was the food amazing, but the service was top notch, from start to finish. We had zero waiting from the moment we walked in the door to the time we left. We were quite impressed with how everything was run. You could see how well everyone worked with each other, and despite it being a busy night, they didn't skip a beat. This is a restaurant that not only offers amazing tasting dishes, but takes pride in providing great service! We started with oysters on the half shell and a crab cake to share, followed by a fresh caesar salad, and opted for the nightly specials, finishing with the banana's foster; which were all mouth watering. Highly recommend Eddie V's for your special occasion!

Came here for our Anniversary dinner and they made us feel so welcomed! Arrived at the restaurant and there was a cute little card on the table. The food was awesome and our waiter was so attentive and nice. Will definitely visit the next time we are in town!

The food was ok! The wedge salad was drenched with dressing. The Rockefeller oysters left much to desire. However, the gulf coast and Connecticut oysters were awesome . The crab cake was filled with crab not a lot of breading .. The expresso martini was delectable. The music is jazzy and upbeat. The service was exceptional. Austin was a great. Emma was attentive.the dessert was phenomenal..

eddie v's is one of my favorite places to go when I want a fancy dining experience with excellent service. got the chilean sea bass with three sides- the butter poached lobster mashed potatoes, truffled macaroni and cheese, and the brussel sprouts! LOVED EVERYTHING! I must say, the truffled macaroni was the star side 11/10 but the mashed potatoes were also amazing 10/10! I'd definitely get those two again! the brussels were also great, but when I head to a fancy restaurant, I usually try to take it light on the veggies! we also got the bananas foster butter cake, which was AMAZING! so scrumptious and flavorful especially with ice cream on the side! if you want to be treated like royalty, with great service, ambiance, and a fine dining experience- look no further!

Ok, so I'm relatively new to Austin. Lived here just a couple years now. And I might be spoiled when it comes to steak. I've had some of the best steaks (at all price points) in San Francisco, Chicago, New York, LA, South America, and Europe. I just had such high hopes for what many claim to be the best steak in Austin: Eddie V's. I haven't tried that many steak joints in Austin yet, but if this is the best Austin has to offer, I'll be making my steaks at home from now on and spending my hard earned dining-out budget elsewhere. Eddie V's is trying to present as an upscale restaurant. Servers in tuxedo vests and all that. But it just... misses the mark. The design is super dated, with wood paneling everywhere, heavy draperies, and ornate decor. It's your grandparents' kind of fancy. On to the experience. We arrived 9 minutes late for our reservation, and it took them about an hour to seat us. Now I know sometimes you can lose your table if you're late, maybe get placed next in line or just treated as a walk-in. If that's the case, it should be communicated by the host when you check in. They didn't say anything when we checked in except "Ok, we'll call you when your table is ready!" When my husband finally got impatient and asked what was up, all they said was some tables were taking longer than expected. Well we stuck it out and finally were seated at a tiny table shoved in a corner under a big screen TV. What kind of upscale-tuxedoed-server restaurant has big screen TVs in their dining room? We're not here to watch a football game or something. So tacky. And that thing stuck out so far from the wall, it was inches from my husband's head and he whacked his shoulder/elbow on it several times when moving around. So did the person seated behind him. We ordered drinks: a glass of wine and a martini. They took about 25 minutes to arrive (they came after our starters). Our server said the bar was backed up. I'm just glad I wasn't trying to pair my drinks with my courses. My wine glass was dirty with particles of some stuff stuck to the outside. Like it felt rough and scratchy every time I picked it up. Again, not upscale. The wine also tasted like it had been opened days ago. Husband's martini was good. Our plates had visible fingerprints all over them. The food: the Cesar Salad was a highlight. It was crisp and fresh, and the dressing a good balance of salty, fishy, slightly creamy, vinegary goodness. The potato gratin was just ok. The potatoes were diced into chunks instead of sliced & layered, which I found a little odd, but whatever. The gratin to potato ratio was a bit too high for our taste. Very rich, overly filling. The steaks. The biggest disappointment. We both got filet minion. We make them better at home. They weren't bad, just not awesome. And when we pay a nice restaurant a lot of money to cook our steaks for us, we expect awesome. The temperature was good, the sear was good. But the seasoning was boring, they could have used more butter and herbs, and somehow their fillets were kind of dry and grainy. Not the cut-like-butter, juicy, delectableness we were anticipating. Our server Charlie was attentive, courteous, and funny. This probably would be a 2 star review but for Charlie.

So glad I booked Eddie's for my birthday! Valet was seamless ($12) . Jeremiah out front with valet was great. They adorned our table with rose petals and a hand written birthday card! Eric was our waiter and what a kind and attentive person! Out of all the steakhouses in town, this has become my new fave! They even gave me a birthday trio dessert to cap off dinner . Also mouth watering. Shellfish tower- it's a must for starters! So fresh and delish! Crab cake - also a must! Chunky crab bits! Truffle Mac n cheese- can be pretty much its own meal! SO good! Steaks- perfectly cooked! Melted in my mouth so good!! Drinks are in point! May I recommend a French 75. Great for celebrations!

Eddie V's is a go to spot for us. So good and yet so far. After a wonderful dinner we waited 20 minutes for valet to get our car and almost missed our play. The little things! Food yes. Bar yes. Dinner service yes. Something as simple as valet no.

Everything is top tier. Service was impeccable, food was divine and the jazz band was jazzin'. We had the big Eddie seafood tower and the table side tartare. Both were delicious and filling for two people (we couldn't eat another bite). There was also some warm crusty bread brought to the table and we had refreshing dirty martinis with blue cheese stuffed olives. The valet is a nice touch as well. Can't wait to go back and try the steaks and other mouth watering options.

If you want to take a special occasion to the next level, take it to Eddie V's. Their friendly and experienced staff, delicious drinks and dishes will ensure a good time. We began our birthday celebration with a few drinks in the bar prior to our meal. There is nothing like getting a show and a drink, which is what I got when I ordered the Smoked Old Fashioned. The drink/show was prepared in front of us on the bar, including firing up some wood chips and encasing the smoke in the glass before the old fashioned was poured. Quite the show and quite a tasty drink as well. One of my favorite things there is the Kung Pao Calamari --- a large platter of fried calamari served over a bed of julienne carrots, mung bean sprouts, sliced green onions and chile peppers. The size makes it a great sharable appetizer. I'm thankful I shared my wedge salad, as a full serving appears to be a quarter of a head of iceburg lettuce! Served with crispy bacon strips, blue cheese crumbles and chive buttermilk dressing, it is a taste treat. My main was the Georges Banks Scallops, which were beautiful and delicious. For sides, we settled on au gratin cheddar potatoes and grilled asparagus. To top off the birthday celebration, we were treated to a complimentary bananas Foster Butter Cake which they set on fire at our table!! They just don't do anything halfway at Eddie V's. The service is always top notch, and it makes everybody feel very special, especially the birthday girl.

Had an 815 reservation but didn't get seated till 905. The steak was supposed to be medium rare but it was well done. I was so tired that I didn't even want to send it back. My fiancés fish was cold as if it had been sitting out while my food was being overcooked. To spend almost $400 and receive that type of dinner is unfortunate. I feel like my money could have been better spent anywhere else. I understand there's a convention going on but don't overbook yourself if you can't honor a reservation time. If I'm 15 minutes to my reservation, it's canceled, yet you can be 50 minutes past the reservation time and expect someone to be happy about standing for that amount of time while people keep asking you to move. The band was great and the ambiance was nice.

The very first Eddie V's. The flagship. The OG if you will. Had an absolute spectacular time here. Reservations are for the birds, so we just sat at the bar and hung out with Sway(Josue). For drinks I stayed basic and got the smokey old fashioned, and the wife went for the 24 Karat. Both drinks were splendidly smooth and remarkably refreshing. For food I went with the filet and lobster, and she got the Ahi with the goat cheese salad. Everything was exceptional. Cooked to absolute perfection. Sway and his team took excellent care of us, and we will most definitely be back. This joint has multiple locations for a reason, folks, and I highly recommend you stop in and investigate those reasons.

Our dining experience at Eddie V's Prime Seafood Restaurant was made truly exceptional by our server, Adam. Not only did he excel in providing attentive service and expert menu knowledge, but he also went the extra mile by recommending a late-night restaurant with live jazz music. Adam's thoughtful gesture, considering that we were visiting Texas from California, added a delightful touch to our evening. We highly recommend requesting Adam for an outstanding dining experience at Eddie V's, where he truly understands how to make guests feel welcome and create memorable moments.
