It has been a while since I've been to a restaurant or any place for that matter where the service was great, did was amazing and the ambience was so warm and welcoming. Our server Amber was such a joy, she amplified the experience. It was our first time there and we went there because of a recommendation. We are for sure coming back.

Google
This dessert was a rich and indulgent mix of textures and flavors. The molten chocolate was deeply decadent—smooth, velvety, and intensely chocolaty, pairing wonderfully with the cold, creamy vanilla ice cream. The warmth of the chocolate contrasted beautifully with the chill of the ice cream, creating a satisfying harmony. The addition of mixed berries—raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries—brought a fresh, tart brightness that cut through the richness and added bursts of juiciness. The fruit tasted fresh and juicy, especially the raspberries which stood out both in flavor and texture. Presentation-wise, while the plate looks like it’s post-enjoyment (likely after the main structure of the dessert was broken into), it’s clear that this was a thoughtfully layered and well-executed dish, balancing warm, cold, sweet, and tart elements. A dessert that leaves a mess like this is usually a sign it was too good to eat slowly. Rating: 8.5/10 A memorable and well-balanced treat that satisfies chocolate cravings while still feeling fresh thanks to the fruit.

Google
Beautiful restaurant with attentive waitstaff. Appetizers and sides were particularly good. Recommend the lobster tacos (two per order), crab cake (filled with so much crab it was hard for it to stay together), and Ahi tuna tartare. They featured a special halibut with avocado that was one of best fish dishes I’ve tried. 24 karat martini presented beautifully.

Here’s a polished review you can use: A Perfect Wedding Proposal Experience! A huge thank you to Corbin and everyone involved in making our wedding proposal so special! From start to finish, it was an absolutely delightful experience. The personalized touches made all the difference, and we truly can’t thank you enough for the effort and care put into every detail. The ambiance was perfect, the service was exceptional, and the food was absolutely amazing. It was an unforgettable moment, and we are beyond grateful for the wonderful experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a truly special occasion!

Google
Always a special experience and no exception on this visit. Special kudos to Po, our waiter. Excellent suggestions and service. Slight ding as the restaurant was on the cold side. Maybe because we were seated right underneath the A/C vent.

Yum! Great food, drinks & service in the lounge today! Alicia & Devon were excellent - steak, seafood, cocktails & atmosphere are top notch. Recommend!

Google
This is an establishment that is consistent with great service, delicious plates, and a well ran business. Has to be one of the better local chains, maybe even the best. I recommend to anyone who likes everything to be perfect every time they take the family out for a hard earned dinner.

Google
Eddie v's was amazing. We were celebrating our 31st Anniversary. Amazing food, atmosphere and a very friendly and polite waiter. I ate the Jumbo Gulf shrimp with Au Gratin cheddar potatoes. My husband had steak. The sides are shareable. We had a complimentary mousse cake that was so good. everything was amazing and we will definitely return.

Yelp
Tonight's date night took me and the Bean to the arboretum where we dined at the elegant Eddie V's. Beautiful restaurant!! Great music selections accompanies the ambiance. Or servers were awesome. From the host that greeted us, to the two servers who waited on us and ensured we were completely satisfied. Entree was the jumbo lump crab cake accompanied with fresh bread and butter which was super delicious!! We both had the 10 oz center cut filet mignon. Bean had Au gratin cheddar potatoes while I had the South African lobster tail with drawn butter. I don't know why it was called that but it was too amazing to deliberate on . For dessert I had the Belgian chocolate cake with fresh fruit and vanilla ice cream. Bean had chocolate mousse cake. If I had to pick, the mousse cake was the clear winner. All washed down with signature cocktails and great conversation.

Yelp
My husband and I got married and our family gifted us a dinner here! Our server was very well informed about the specials and menu and she was a delight. The ambiance is so sophisticated and warm, the staff were so welcoming. The food was really good and the view of the hills were phenomenal!! I will definitely come here for special occasions! For our special occasion they provided complimentary dessert, champagne, and a rose for me! Love this place. Definitely recommend!!!

Yelp
Interesting decor: much of the place looks like a normal high end steak house, but the bar has a mural over it that is very out of character for the place and is a bit odd. Even though the place wasn't full when we visited, it was still a bit loud, so it may not be the best for a romantic date. Service was great throughout, including multiple checkins by the manager, and good wine suggestions to pair with entrees. We had a variety of oysters to start, and we liked the arrangement and descriptions of the flavor profiles they offered (which were mostly spot on for each type of oyster). For mains, we had the Branzino (good) and Lamb chops (very good, with a great chimichuri sauce). However, one of the chops was served effectively raw, and our waiter made up for that with a free desert. We had an off menu chocolate mousse cake slice (good, but would probably get something else next time). Great wine selection at Eddie V's, including a lot of by-the-glass varieties. I would try Eddie V's again, especially to experience to the quality of service again.

Yelp
Really hard to ever have a bad meal here. Crab Fried Rice is always spot on. The stuffed shrimp is delicious. The Sea Bass has an incredible umami broth, don't be shy dipping your tender fish in it! Service is always impeccable, goes for both the bar and main room. Plenty of parking, you can valet as well.

Yelp
I always enjoy my dining experience at Eddie V's. Intimate and upscale ambience and great service. We actually opted for non- beef items this trip but their steaks are delicious. We opted for more seafood fare this visit. We enjoyed the yellowtail sashimi, burrata salad, brussel sprouts, ahi tuna and two desserts. This was in addition to the warm fresh bread and a nice bottle of Faust. Note: if you don't finish your bottle of wine they will re-seal it for you. We didn't have this problem but wanted to pass along the tip.

Yelp
I don't always go to Eddie V but when I do I get the big Eddie. With it being a large party and also my-husband's birthday we started off with two towers of seafood. Everyone said oh it's so much we won't finish........ let me be clear they finished and everyone was pleased. This is how you get a party started. The Big Eddie starts off with king crab, main lobsters, tuna Poke, Gulf shrimp and oyster. Hey you only turn 50 once. Fun fact when we were dating my then boyfriend turned 40 and we celebrated at this location as well. A decade later and this place is still a great place to celebrate milestones.

Yelp
I love Eddie V's This is our first time trying in another state and it was definitely up to par with what we are use to. Service was great, and we enjoyed the view from our window seat. Food was delicious as expected. This dining experience will not disappoint!

Yelp
Family in town visiting and we met at Eddie V's for our reunion. Great location and ample parking. We ordered the 10 oz filet, mediterrean branzino, lobster tacos, scallops, crab stuffed shrimp, crab fried rice, truffle mac and cheese and the broccolini. Everyone enjoyed their selection and the service was fantastic. We'll be planning some other family reunions and will be back for another visit.

Yelp
Donna was the best waitress! We came here for my boyfriend's birthday. It was my first time here. I loved everything about Eddie V's. I was having a hard time deciding what I wanted to order and Donna was great help. The food was delicious and came out very fast. The restaurant was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The view was beautiful. Will definitely be dining in again. Donna took care of us and accommodated all of our requests.

Yelp
Eddie V's consistently delivers a 5-star dining experience, even during happy hour in the bar! We enjoyed a recent happy hour at the Arboretum location. Great as always! 24 Karat and gin martinis were awesome. A large tray of fresh gulf oysters started the culinary adventure this time... cold, fresh and delicious! The mignonette sauce is mind-bending (and simple, vinegar, garlic, black pepper and a pinch of sugar). We had the beef sliders next, followed by the tempura lobster pops. The steak was perfectly cooked, and the lobster amazing! Our companion had the Caesar salad and stuffed shrimp, both were delicious. We ended with a crab cake, which is one of our favorite appetizers, and IMHO one of the best in ATX! Highly recommend Eddie V's for any occasion, even happy hour in the bar!

Yelp
It's hard to top Eddie V's food and service. I was lucky to be treated to drinks and appetizers on my birthday, and it couldn't have been more perfect. We were seated in the bar at a (reserved) high top table next to floor to ceiling windows that overlook the beautiful canyon below. If you don't like heights, this table's not for you! Even though we were only there for drinks and appetizers, Eddie V's had decorated the table with birthday confetti and a card signed by the staff. I couldn't resist ordering The Hope Diamond, a cocktail with Grey Goose Vodka, grapefruit liqueur, butterfly pea powder tea, and a diamond ice cube. Beautiful and tasty. The appetizer of the evening was the tuna tartar. The calamari has been a long-time favorite of mine, so we ordered that as well, but now I have a new favorite.

Yelp
Great service, ambiance, and food. Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday and this restaurant did not disappoint. We were served by Forrest, who was calm, helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and humorous. His humor and knowledge felt like hanging out with a close friend who just happens to bring you out the best cuts of meats, bread, desserts, drinks, salads, and sides. The ambiance screamed super fancy, and I found myself trying to conjure up a snooty attitude to fit in when I usually scarf down street tacos like an animal on a daily basis. The filet mignon was delicious, the Brussel sprouts smothered in a creamy and mouthwatering sauce, and the Mac n cheese encased in a delicious cheesy crust. Everything tasted mouthwateringingly delicious. Finish it all with a delicious chocolate cake, cookies, and apple pie with ice cream for dessert, and I could barely waddle to the car. Worth it. Great service. Fantastic food. Lot of parking space. Full belly full of food and drink....and I'm definitely happy. If I had a Time Machine, I'd relive this experience again and again. Thanks Eddie V's. Thanks Forrest for the top notch service. Thank you to the cooks and bartenders for making food and drinks. And Thank you to my awesome best friend for having a milestone birthday, in which we just had to have a fancy dinner, desserts, sides, and drinks - and had to waddle home afterward.

Yelp
I discovered if you get here after 6 o'clock on a Thursday evening, parking is very difficult and I can't imagine what it would be like on the weekend. Part of the problem is that the Bulevar restaurant is next door. However, you can choose to valet your car If you want. This review differs from most, as I was with group of 20 people in a room set aside for us. I should mention that even on a Thursday evening this place is packed so better make reservations. They have a private room that faces the parking lot which seats about 30 people and has a flatscreen. It's an intimate space where you cannot hear the noise of the crowded restaurant beyond the doors. This room is it perfect for a company dinner or for a large special family occasion. A menu was put together for our group and featured some very nice choices. We casually enjoyed our four appetizers followed by our choice of soup or salads. Most of us chose either the Seabass or the strip steak for the main course and both were cooked to perfection. The augratin potatoes and truffle cheese mac were decadently rich. Desserts soon followed with a fudge brownie and bananas Foster. Everything was wonderfully presented and the service was absolutely on point to perfection. If you can put up with the tricky parking, once you make it through the doors, everything else will be very enjoyable going forward.

Yelp
Wow! Great food and great service. We had a company dinner here. The space could have been bigger, however I'm not sure how many were expected vs who came. I had the salmon and it was to die for. I'm sure it was pricey, however I cannot speak to that since I didn't see any prices.

Yelp
Celebrated my husband's birthday here and had a lovely dinner experience from the minute we stepped through the doors. Great hostess, great staff, intimate ambiance, and delicious food! Large open parking lot and complimentary valet. QUICK FACTS: - Reservations? Yes, recommended for Fridays and weekends. Can make online or via phone. - Happy hour? Yes, Sun.-Thurs., 4-6:30pm. - Takeout? Yes, can order online or via phone. - Parking? Yes, large open lot and complimentary valet. FOOD RATINGS: - Table bread service (5/5): Simple, warm, delicious sourdough bread with butter. - Gulf oysters (5/5): Fresh, large, cold, and served with a delicious mignonette and house made horseradish! - Warm goat cheese salad (4/5): Tasty! Only nitpick is I would caramelize the shallots more, as they were a bit sharp. - Filet medallions oscar style (4.5/5): Perfectly cooked medium-rare. The béarnaise sauce was incredible, albeit a bit thicker than I'm used to. Needed some flaky salt on top, but the asparagus was perfectly seasoned and tender as well. - Alaskan halibut (5/5): The off-menu special for the night. Parmesan-crusted and golden, this was creamy and cooked to perfection. Loved the burst of color with the avocado on top, and the capers were great for flavor. - Butter poached lobster and aged white cheddar mashed potatoes (3/5): You're definitely paying for the lobster ($23 mashed potatoes is steep). The potatoes themselves were pretty plain, and not nearly as creamy as one would expect. Still tasty (and even tastier dipped in the mac and cheese sauce...)! - Truffled mac and cheese (5/5): Absolutely the BEST truffled mac and cheese I've had. Perfect balance of extremely rich cheese and beautiful, delicate black truffle. Did not disappoint in the least bit.

Yelp
We recently dined at Eddie V's to celebrate a special occasion. From the moment we arrived, the friendly staff made us feel welcome and catered to our needs throughout the evening. The restaurant's breathtaking views provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable dining experience. The menu featured a selection of high-quality seafood and steak, and I must say, the filet mignon medallions with chimichurri sauce was an absolute delight. Cooked to perfection, it was a culinary masterpiece. The crab cake was phenomenal, and the prime rib was undoubtedly one of the best I've ever had. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just looking for an unforgettable dining experience, this restaurant is the perfect choice. It combines excellent food with exceptional service, and the ambiance is simply unmatched. Highly recommend making reservations due to the popularity of this location.

Yelp
Second time to EVs.. We had another great meal. Ava was our host, and she provided great service! She offered us off menu items and I decided to go with her suggestion. I had Halibut for the first time, and it did not miss! It was great!! The sides were good as well. The only downside was one of our potatoe sides was refrigerator cold, but Ava quickly remedied it, and it wasn't even thought of again.
google avatar

Yelp
I can't help myself, I always get full on appetizers here before my main entree. Honestly, it's not the worst thing ever because who doesn't like steak leftovers? ps, I tried the crab tacos for the first time, it will not be the last time.

Yelp
If I could give 6 stars, I would. Now Eddie AB's has always been one of my favorite restaurants in Texas to go to, weather I'm in Houston or Austin. They are greatly known for their generous amount of lump crab meat, and their perfectly cooked delicious steaks! Even though I have always received great service at each location, for some reason the service just had a tad bit more love at this one. As soon as we walked in, we were sat down within one min, and the bartenders approached us immediately brining our glasses, waters, and delivering such kindness as they just saw their two best friends grab a table. Our waitress Rachel had the most genuine and friendly energy. She laughed with us, gave good suggestions, and was very knowledgeable of the menu. Never did we have to waive anyone down, and never were we feeling smothered by "too much attention." We ordered the jumbo shrimp stuffed with crab on this wonderful butter sauce. It was one of the best seafood dishes over ever eaten!
google avatar

Yelp
I absolutely love Eddie V's. They have an incredible happy hour, and an even more spectacular dinner service. And if you have the opportunity to attend one of their holiday menu days, I highly recommend it. My fiancé and I went on thanksgiving and enjoyed the prefixe menu they had available. The turkey was perfect, the stuffing seasoned perfectly, and the cranberry sauce was to die for. Everything on our plate was immaculate. The service we receive there, regardless of if we are at a table or at the bar, is always top notch. And the way the service staff and kitchen staff work together to accommodate allergies is commendable. If you're feeling a little bougie, check out Eddie V's.
google avatar

Natasha G.

Yelp
Love coming here to sit at the bar. They have a phenomenal wine selection by the glass. Food is always great and the service is outstanding.
google avatar

Lori H.

Yelp
Rather than cooking this thanksgiving, we decided to dine at one of our favorite restaurants. We had reservations at 12:15 and arrived slightly earlier and immediately were seated in the smaller, quiet, tucked away dining room which is always our preference. Our waiter Carlos arrived shortly after being seated, welcomed us, took our drink orders (beer and a glass of Ferrari Rose), and asked of our menu selections. My husband got the Turkey entree and I substituted for the Sea Bass, accompanied with mashed potatoes, green beans, dressing, cranberry sauce, and a side of butternut squash, Both the Turkey and sea bass were cooked to melt in your mouth perfection, however I felt that there could have been more flavor with the sea bass. The dressing was delightful. Our entire meal is one of the best I've had and staff, Carlos was very attentive and cordial. I would definitely skip the home cooking and make this a new tradition!
google avatar

Yelp
Came here for a birthday dinner. The ambiance is dark and mysterious, we had to use our phone flashlight to see the menu. The seats were super comfortable and the bathrooms were beautiful. Our waiter was nice and knowledgeable and helped us order. The food was delicious and my favorite was the shellfish tower and steak. I love that the sides are family size portions so everyone can share. The drinks were very good and I love the wide variety in their wine selection. The dessert was my favorite part and I loved the show of it being lit on fire, very cool. Overall great experience.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing experience at Eddie V's. Our party of 4 was seated promptly, service was gracious, and the food outstanding. I would have loved to order the steak, but we were going dancing later and I didn't want to be too full, so I got the scallops. The serving size was perfect and the scallops delicious. We did indulge and get the lobster mashed potatoes, and omg- I would order that by itself and be in heaven. Huge chunks of lobster, cheese, and creamy mashed potatoes made this dish extraordinary. My husband got the ribeye and let me have a bite and it was also incredible. We decided to indulge and got the bananas foster butter cake. If you've ever wondered what a 2300 calorie dessert is like- this is it! It also was fantastic. I feel like I could have eaten all of it, it was that good. The tableside flambé was a great touch, and the cake was so rich and moist. The ice cream and whipped cream on the side added to the flavor. We also got drinks and my espresso martini was just right. Well done Eddie V!

Yelp
Very classy and fine dining experience. The wait staff is very attentive and knowledgeable on the entrees and drink menus. Food is outstanding. Definitely a must do!

Yelp
Seafood was great. Steak wasn't prepared correctly to our order even after two tries, but that could be a fluke that night.

Yelp
Eddie V's -- Austin - 9400 B Arboretum Blvd, Austin TX 78759 It is a very elegant restaurant, great place for date night. Or sit at the bar and meet new people, everyone is really friendly there. We have been going here for over 20 years, the food is amazing, staff is friendly and fun. They go out of their way to please and accommodate you. We are usually their every Thursday for happy hour. They go out of there way to altered the recipes for me!! I am a celiac and allergic to other ingredients. I have never been contaminated or gotten sick, they go out of there way to keep me safe. Come join us for happy hour

Yelp
Always great and consistent!!! Best steak/seafood place in Austin for sure! I always get the sea bass and my husband gets the filet! We NEVER HAVE DESSERT unless it's Eddy V's...the bananas fosters is the BEST ON PLANET EARTH! We love this place in Austin but if we are in DALLAS WE ALWAYS go to BOB's!

Tracee W.

Yelp
I expected an exceptional dining experience and I was underwhelmed .... I didn't feel like we were a priority until I said something to someone and the wait staff was not exceptional it was a 4 reservation and her uniform was already dirty I found a huge chunk of lettuce on the chair at my table so that means it's was not cleaned properly from the day before. For the amount of money, we spent for my celebration dinner ... I expected better service ... I give this review a maybe because the food is as awesome, but everything else wasn't!

Yelp
Unfortunately did not meet our expectations. I took my friend there for his birthday. The service didn't feel genuine and honest recommendations about food or drinks could not be made. Our waiter definitely tried to make recommendations, but it was very clear that they haven't had much of an opinion. The server possibly haven't tried the food (which the restaurant should allow at some point if recommendations expected to be made). I had the Chilean Seabass with crab, and my friend had a New York Steak, we paired it with delicious Lobster Mashed potatoes and ordered the spinach side which ended up never making it to our table. His steak was not cooked to his request, but given that we were already feeling out the service he decided to eat it and was pretty satisfied with it after all. As someone who's been eating Seabass in Maine for 8 years of my life, I was somewhat disappointed with the presentation and the seasoning. It tasted good, but not high end restaurant kinda good. I secretly regretted not ordering steak if I'm completely honest. Being a big foodie as I am, I love to pair my fish and meats with wine and side dishes. The first Sauvignon on the menu tastes like it's coming from a box and not a bottle and I do not recommend it at all. The second wine I ordered definitely helped tie up the flavors. I cannot remember the name of it as I was just wanting to eat and leave. We did get a dessert on the house (birthday curtesy) which included ice cream, delicious cookies and cake. The dessert was good and the presentation was nice. This entire experience cost $250 (with the tip), which is what you can expect to pay on a high end service, atmosphere and food. The atmosphere and the lobster mashed potatoes were the only things that satisfied our expectations. I didn't tell my friend how I felt about the experience out of respect for his special day, but it came up at a later conversation and turned out he felt the same. There are many other great restaurants to explore while this one has some improvements to make.

Yelp
Celebrating our traditional pre-Thanksgiving dinner in a beautiful space being taken care of by the most truly professional staff. Whenever you come to a remarkable restaurant like this, you feel like a grown up.

Yelp
So I'm an Army vet, I've eaten MRE's, local fly covered meat and foot stomped bread. I can eat an undercooked steak, but at these prices I shouldn't have to. It was my daughter's birthday so I didn't want to dampen the mood, so I shut my mouth and ate it. It was good, but pretty much raw. The place looks nice and the service was good. The dessert was ok, except for the bananas foster, that was exceptional. The seafood was pretty on the spot. My daughter had the lobster, and I have to admit it was pretty good, nicely cooked and seemed fresh, and awesome feat considering we're in Texas. Wait I almost forgot... we ordered oysters raw and they served us some of the smallest oysters I have ever seen. I just remembered that so I'm changing my score from 4 stars to 3. So that's my experience hope it helps.

Yelp
Service/Attention to detail: I came to Eddie V for my anniversary and I think it's a great place for celebrations because they do an awesome job at making you feel special. There were flower petals on our table as well as a complimentary dessert (that was lit on fire) at the end and a card saying Happy Anniversary and I know they do the same for birthdays as well which is super nice! Our waiter (I believe his name was Forrest) was SUPER sweet and attentive and explained everything super well. He was funny as well and I think he's one of the best waiters we've ever had. Food: Now, this is where I take a star off. I felt the food was just okay except for the African lobster tail I had which was gigantic and delicious. They had so many options on the menu it was hard to choose what to eat which could be good or bad depending on how you look at it. My boyfriend had a special that they had which was a filet mignon and shrimp and the shrimp was quite salty and the steak was a bit dry and chewy even though we got medium rare. We also got the lobster mashed potatoes and while the lobster part was good, there wasn't much of it and the potatoes itself were average in my opinion (and I eat alot of mashed potatoes). Then, we also had some oysters which were good but I wouldn't say unique where I could come back just for oysters. They do have a HH though which I may come back to try sometime. Environment: The restaurant itself had a dimly lit and romantic, classy atmosphere although you definitely don't have to dress up super nice because I saw people in shorts lol. This location is also in a really nice area at the Arboretum and parking was super easy.

Yelp
One of Austin's best, as an avid and picky seafood lover rating a 5 start seafood place is not easy. Service is on point. Food is something that will be remembered. The formal dining experience as it should be.

Yelp
Our first visit. Won't be the last. Every bite was absolutely incredible and the service was fantastic. It was literally a perfect meal with Lobster Bisque, 22oz Ribeye, Lobster tail, and Bananas Foster on an incredible butter cake. The sides were amazing and while I didn't try the spinach (ewww) my date was over the moon with it. We ate early but by the time we left it was filled with Austin's beautiful people with some outfits only seen in Vegas. It isn't cheap but we've eaten at more expensive places to be sure with less quality. Reservations are A MUST as it was very, very busy. Good for them I say.

Yelp
Let's just say if you want them to know your name you go to Eddie's . I enjoyed hanging out at the bar with Mark and Daniel. I can't wait to return to meet more folks. You all make folks feels special.

Yelp
My first time visiting this brand and this location last night for my going away/new job celebration dinner. We were a party of 8. Our waiter was a guy named Phil. I like a waiter with a personality and some wit. Phil definitely had some snark which was fun at first, but sometimes a bit much. We aren't your friends. Overall he was okay but when a someone tried to order a side he cut her off and said "I'll do sides at the end" but then walked away from the table and didn't take any of our side orders or come back and we had to flag him down. I also made a point in the reservation that this was a celebration dinner. I've seen in so many other reviews how special Eddie V's made their celebration. When we were almost finished I mentioned to the waiter I was the guest of honor and he goes "oh yeah isn't this like a new job thing or something". Oh okay, so you knew and chose to say nothing and we even ordered dessert and you couldn't be bothered to have congrats written on the plate. Disappointing. The food however, was as far from disappointing as you could get. We started with the big Eddie V seafood tower ($125). The presentation could do with some work, as you'll see in the picture the lobster looked amazing but the oysters were small and barely filled our the bottom layer and while the shrimp were huge the middle level is too large for it and it looks empty for that price tag. They also put all the crab in bowls in the middle of the tower- sooo hard to reach. They would do better putting the crab in small ramekins on the outside to fill the levels out and make it easy to reach. But the seafood was delicious! My entree was the 18 ounce bone in New York strip steak. I eat ALOT of steak at nice places and this was hands down top three steaks I've ever eaten in my life. Succulent, juicy, perfectly cooked and seasoned. I added scallops for $19 and while good, they didn't leave an impression. Everyone else got filet mignon and cleaned their plates. Delish! For sides- the truffle Mac and cheese honestly was so good I think my soul left my body. The potatoes au gratin were also so good I almost cried. We also got the crab fried rice which the portion was MASSIVE and while delicious it pales in comparison to the other two. And finally- we got the Brussels. Perfection. I want to go back and just eat sides. Theeeen dessert. We got the chocolate cakes and the waiter warned us we didn't need to order 4 and he was right. They're huge AND SO RICH but SO DELICIOUS IT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL. The star of the night for me (aside from the Mac and cheese that I want to marry) was the bananas foster. An amazing presentation- and then the cake itself was sin on a plate. Add in the ice cream and bananas and literally I could have passed out from pleasure. Overall a FANTASTIC meal. We all drank red wine all night so I can't comment on the cocktails, but aside from some waiter snafus this was a dream dinner. Cannot wait to go back.

Yelp
Came here right at opening (4pm) and was seated by the window with a spectacular view (thank you)! Our hostess was super pleasant and friendly we shared a laugh and we did not have a reservation. ***Server Review*** Our server was Devin, and he made this first time visit at Eddie V's really wonderful! He's so charismatic, charming, and funny, he really was great! Devin knew the menu really well and we definitely asked for recommendations based on what we like and boy he was not wrong! Our food & cocktails was to our liking his recommendations held up! I love that he was able to help us based on what we told him we liked. Everyone should take Devin's lead I will always ask for him when we come back! ***Food Review*** My husband ordered the 22 ounce bone in ribeye with king crab legs and a lobster tail, it was cooked perfectly, he said the flavor was fire! I ordered an off menu item steak tempura feature it was a 8oz filet cut in half over asparagus with crap tempura on top and some special sauce drizzled all over it & it was magnificently delicious ! We ordered mashed potatoes with no lobster, the Brussels sprouts with no peanuts, & the spinach & I didn't need salt or pepper everything was amazing! Manger Daniel your leadership shows & was appreciated! Thank you Eddie V's!

Yelp
I literally wish i could give 10 stars!! My husband and I decided to order in lastnight and settled on eddie V's. The lamb chop is always my husbands go to, tonight however it was undercooked. No biggie , this is an unfortunate faux pas no restaurant escapes. In their defense I skipped past the special instruction tab absentmindedly and hadn't requested they be cooked medium well . Usually we wouldn't take issue but they were far too rare for his liking. I called the restaurant ( after closing time nonetheless ) and their manager Daniel answered. I told him the issue and he offered to make a fresh order to our specifications if i wanted to come back to pick up. I want to point out this wasn't his only offer to resolve the issue, but it was the one i chose. I sent my husband for the 2nd pick up and upon coming home he had a perfectly cooked order of lamb chops as well as a gift card that more than covered the initial purchase. My husband and i frequent this establishment because the customer service is always stellar and the food is even better, lastnight though Daniel out did himself . Daniel, i can not tell you how sweet that was and i hope this quick review can give you a glimpse of our appreciation and acknowledgment of your attention to detail, excellent customer service and all around class. No doubt this restaurant will continue to be one of our top go to picks for great food and even better customer service. Thank you again.

Yelp
This is a salute to manager Daniel Martinez, a man who helped make my mother's 90th birthday a gorgeous and sumptuous feast. Also, a confession: This review is long overdue. Back when we were in mid-lockdown, I had to make mom's 90th an occasion to remember without attending relatives or friends. I ordered the Shellfish Tower: Maine lobster, shrimp, crab and oysters with several accompanying sauces. I begged Mr. Martinez to rent me the tower and he agreed. He didn't actually charge me though! When I stopped to pick up the food, Mr. Martinez made the experience an event to remember. He and a waiter paraded to my car to assist me with the tower and all the bags. That darling man had packed cracked ice, lemons, crackers, rolls, butter, sauces... everything, in such a helpful and attractive manner. The food was extra extraordinary in every way, and mom gasped when she saw the table covered in flowers, presents and this elegant tower. Everything was packed so smartly and with such care. I have since been back to Eddie V's but I didn't see manager Daniel Martinez, a man I will be forever grateful to.

Yelp
Echoing what others are saying - come here!! Especially for your celebratory dinners. Celebrated my husband's birthday at Eddie V's last night and of course, the service and food were unmatched. Roger and Amber both took great care of us and made sure we had an amazing experience. Impressive blend of professional and personable. Birthday card on the table, birthday-themed confetti sprinkled on the tablecloth. It's the little things! We ordered: - Tableside steak tartare (a MUST every time!!!) 10/10. Freshly cracked black pepper is a nice touch. Will forever be my favorite. - Halibut special with lump crab and avocado (SO GOOD!!) 10/10 my second favorite thing after the tartare. The sauce was amazinggggg. - Ribeye cooked medium, cut 10/10. The char flavor was unmatched. This was my husband's fave. - Crab fried rice 7/10. Was expecting more and will pass on this next time. Flavor was good but rice was too moist, almost like a pilaf. Needed to be fried a little more. - Au gratin potatoes - just WOW. 10/10. The best au gratin potatoes I've had. Texture. Flavor. Crispy cheese. Yum. Oh! And if you don't drink alcohol... get their lemonade!!!! SO GOOD!! 10/10. They brought out the complimentary desert which was a small piece of butter cake, 2 chocolate cookies and a small scoop of butter pecan ice cream. Flambéed tableside. It was delicious, especially the butter cake and ice cream! Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
We love Eddie V's! The view is beautiful, so make a request when making a reservation if you want to watch the sunset over the hill country. I highly recommend making reservations. The main event is the food! Start with the lobster tacos to share because they could be a meal for one. The seafood is fresh and always perfectly prepared. You can get beautifully seared sea scallops or Hong Kong style sea bass or succulent South African lobster tails and so much more without fear of going wrong! Their prime steaks are also impeccable. Great cuts of meat always cooked to your liking. We love that their asparagus is prepared in a healthy way, not buttery at all. The service is always great with attentive and friendly servers. If you are celebrating a special occasion, they decorate your table, give you a card, and adorn your dessert plate with a chocolate message. Be sure to note your special occasion in your reservation and impress whoever you're celebrating! Huge bonus: They offer curbside pickup so you can take your favorite food home if you want to avoid eating inside or just can't get a reservation on short notice!

Yelp
WOW JUST WOW! We went for happy hour to celebrate a birthday. It's amazing ans prices are great. We enjoyed it so much I forgot to take pictures . Don't worry I'll be back to post some soon. - lobster bites, small portions, you get 5 tiny ones like chicken popper size, but melt in your mouth amazing - filet sliders, perfectly seasoned you get 2 and they're a good size - crab cake was HUGE and so delicious, huge chunks of crab - Bananas Foster was phenomenal a couple sitting next to us bought it for us and we were so full but ate almost all of it! Must try! PRIME STEAK TATAKI was the best thing on the menu we got 2!! A must have. Melt in your mouth steak and amazing sauce. -gin and vodka martinis were very good and quality liquors - tried a taste of a grapefruit Martini and YUMMM - expressing martini was perfect way to end the night. This is an amazing deal for such quality food. Happy hour here is a must. The bartenders were so kind, funny and personable too.

Yelp
We started off with the calamari for an appetizer and it was amazing. It's definitely one of my favorites. We had a couple of the cocktails to drink and the presentation was nice and the drinks were tasty. I ordered the prime bone in ribeye medium rare and they nailed it. The steak had a great crust and was packed with flavor. For sides I ordered the truffle Mac and cheese, crab fried rice, and au gratin cheddar potatoes. Our waiter Adrian hooked it up with a complimentary dessert because he's awesome and really just showed us he provides great and friendly service. The restaurant has a nice look to it and I like how the lighting really makes the food pop when it hits your table. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Went to Eddie V's for the first time for our 22 anniversary. Hostess asked us if we were celebrating anything and we told her about it being our anniversary and when we got to the table it was decorated with rose petals, boxes of chocolate and a hand written card. Serious wow factor. Server was absolutely amazing and knowledgeable. Atmosphere was very nice for a romantic evening. Every server that came by mentioned happy anniversary. Food was amazing. I had a ribeye and my wife got red fish, both were delicious. Twice baked potato was excellent and Brussels sprouts were very good. It's a pricey place but well worth it.

Yelp
I have never had a bad experience at Eddie V's. Whether I'm having steaks, seafood, happy hour snacks, or just drinks, the service is top notch, the food and drinks are expertly crafted and the atmosphere is posh, but unpretentious. Last night, my dear friends took me out for my birthday and we had Sunday happy hour (which is all day, by the way), indulging in the Kung pao calamari, Blue Point oysters, burrata and tomatoes, filet mignon sliders, bananas foster cake and molten chocolate lava cake. Everything was amazing and the staff is friendly and professional. Like I said, always a good time at Eddie V's.

Yelp
This is by far the best seafood we've had since moving here. The crab was on par with some of the top notch restaurants we've visited in the pacific NW. The service was as expected at a restaurant of this caliber. If you appreciate really high quality seafood this place will not disappoint.

Yelp
We celebrated moms birthday during their happy hour. You can make reservations ahead of time at the bar area which is a plus as it fills up quickly! Mom was given a Happy Birthday card and dessert. We will be back soon to try the crab cakes!

Yelp
Came for a business dinner and wish it would have been better. We started off with oysters and salads, the payers were fresh and delicious, however the salads were just ok. We proceeded to order the Mediterranean Branzino, Chilean Sea Bass, Norwegian Salmon, tuna. My business partners didn't mention anything good or bad about their tuna and sea bass, but the salmon was overbooked and so was the branzino. We did not finished our dishes are wish they'd been better.
