The very highest quality in dining. It's expensive, but you will feel that you're getting what you're paying for. The food is incredibly delicious. The atmosphere is breathtaking. And the service is so very thoughtful. Keep this one in your back pocket - it just may save your marriage.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant. From the time we walked in the door, it was excellent. Everyone had a smile on their face, as if they enjoyed working there. When we arrived at our table, we were greeted by a happy anniversary card and rose petals scattered about on the table. Our waiter(Kasey)took his time to explain everything to us. When our food arrived, it looked outstanding and tasted even better. My wife had the lamb chops and asparagus, I had the salmon and mac and cheese, again everything was perfect. For desert was prepared by the chef for our anniversary bananas foster style butter cake, and raspberry sorbet, vanilla ice-cream and a in-house made chocolate sauce over a small piece of chocolate cake. Two small in house made chocolate cookies infused with 151 rum. Talk about opening up your sinuses, the vapor from the rum, and chocolate was unexpected. But tasted great. Set on a plate that said Happy Anniversary! We were treated like we were a true VIP. The previous reviews are if 5 stars are true. ANYTHING less is just not true. We will definitely be back !!! 5☆

Coy was truly the best server I’ve ever had at any restaurant, let alone a high-end one like Eddie V’s. From the moment we sat down, he made me feel so special. He was incredibly thoughtful, attentive to every detail, His warmth, genuine joy, and constant smile lit up the room. He went above and beyond to make my birthday dinner unforgettable. I could feel how much he cared, and that kind of thoughtfulness is rare. I left not just full, but emotionally full. I’m so deeply grateful for the way Coy made that night magical. I’ll never forget it.

A very pleasant dining experience. The staff were helpful and friendly. Greeted us very professionally and got me settled with a highball. The filet steak was perfectly done… medium rare…. With tasty asparagus and the most amazing caramelized Brussels Sprouts. A nice assorted desert rounded out an easy going and first class night. I would definitely go back next time I’m in Nashville!!

Had a wonderful night out to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Oysters were next level. Lobster bisque is some of the best we have ever had. Filet was cooked to perfection and the crab stuffed shrimp was amazing! The Brussel sprouts were a welcomed change from the same ol side dishes most places have. Don’t even need to talk about their wine selection because you will see their next level, two story, wine storage when you walk in. Anthony our server was great! Very attentive and knowledgeable. Him and the rest of his service staff made this a special evening my wife will remember for years to come! Thank you for your attentiveness and attention to detail! If you don’t visit Eddie Vs on your next visit to the music city you have done yourself a disservice.

The lobster bisque could use more lobster. The blue point oysters were perfection. The scallions were delicious. The lobster butter mashed potatoes were fabulous. The crab fried rice amazing. The sea bass was good but I have had better. It seemed to rely too heavily on the soy sauce below the dish. The service was wonderful. It was busy the night we were there but the atmosphere was still very lovely.

My friend was in town for work and wanted to enjoy a nice dinner together. Since he was staying downtown and his work event was at the Twelve Thirty Club, we opted for Eddie V's Prime Seafood. He made a reservation and check-in was a breeze. They seated us upstairs in a booth and our server was incredible! We enjoyed a wonderful meal together. I had the 10 oz center cut filet mignon. It was delicious and I took my leftovers home. The sides were great as well. We had the grilled asparagus and creamy mashed potatoes. For dessert, I had berries and creme which was so delicious! The service was top notch. I would definitely come back again.

The place next door I wanted to try out was reserved for a private party. Eddie V's was the next best thing, though I had not planned on seafood during my business trip. I was wrong to dismiss it as a good choice! I arrived during the last hour of happy hour but decided to request a table since I had to do some work that I didn't want to take back to my hotel room. Shelby was my server and she recommended the Acquisition Cabernet from the happy hour menu. It was a nice treat after a long day. After looking at the menu I decided that I was going to take a chance with the seafood. The oysters came in different varieties and weren't labeled "oysters" on the menu. That was the first sign that this place likely knew what it was doing. I decided to try the West Coast Olympic View. As advertised the watermelon tasting notes came through. The oysters also came with not just lemon slices but 3 sauces. The Champagne Migonette was my favorite. Oysters were a winner. For the main I decided to go with the 10 oz Filet and South African Lobster Tail. I had originally only planned on steak but I couldn't say no to the South African lobster. The steak was cooked to perfection and the lobster tail was both sweet and savory. Another winner. Finally, I tried their Belgian Chocolate Cake. Probably the best dessert I had in Nashville during my stay. I decided to try a different place on my last night in Nashville. I regret that because it was good but nowhere I tried was as good as Eddie V's.

Premier steakhouse--everything you want in that experience. Start with the food, I know that's key. Everything is amazing. I've had Wagyu several times, and honestly I tend to be underwhelmed for what you tend to pay. Here, though, I wish we'd ordered more. Perfectly seasoned and seared, tender, flavorful...I may finally appreciate the buzz! Seafood tower appetizer was delicious...so many great selections rolled into one app, can't go wrong! Steaks and seafood dishes were all delicious, quality sides, and the desserts were heavenly. Oh, and the cocktail selection was insanely good...can't recall the name, but the one with the clarified milk had us all texting friends and (of age) family with a "you need to try this" message. Service is top notch. Attentive without being pushy, helpful without feeling like I'm just being upsold, and willing to have some fun. Our server fully embraced one of my colleagues deciding that he looked like Tom Hardy and riffed with us the whole evening...really made it fun for us. The atmosphere is awesome. Beautiful bar, the walk upstairs passes a two story wine storage space that is pretty darn cool, and the whole space is just a good balance of class and non-pretentious fun.

Walk-ins? Friday night? Holiday weekend? Yes, yes and yes... Family of four, mom, dad two teenagers first time in Nashville. Arrived at dinner time looking for a place to eat. Walked past Eddie V's, looked great from the outside decided to take a shot. Walked in, was met by an extra extraordinarily friendly and pretty Delilah. I asked if it was impossible to get a table for four and she said "absolutely give me a second to set up the table". Then like a jerk, I asked her if we could sit near the band, in the front by the bar and she said "of course, let me set up a table!" We were seated quickly, Hollie the waitress came over, very friendly, very quick, took drink orders, dinner orders, appetizers came right out, followed by the dinner, two steaks, two lobster tacos cooked perfectly. Overall, five star experience, don't hesitate one bit make your reservations,walk-in, and enjoy the music. Enjoy the food. Enjoy the ambience. Accurately priced menu.

My first Eddie V's experience exceeded my expectations. We received exceptional service from the time we entered the building until leaving. The food was very filling and described perfectly on the menu and by the server. We went for dinner and the lights were dimmed and there was a live band.

New Years Eve 8pm reservation.Had one drink in the bar.Pleasant bartender.Seated right on time upstairs. Good service and enjoyed a nice filet mignon and 2 sides.All very good.Would definitely come back.

Service and food was first rate! Every step of our process of reserving and being served was exceptional. We planned dinner before attending a concert at Bridgestone Arena which was met with the same urgency we felt to enjoy our time at Eddie Vs and be on time for the event. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and cocktail. Have your credit card ready because it is pricey but it is justified. I look forward to returning again and again.

This was an absolutely fantastic dinner! My wife and I came here a few weeks ago too celebrate her birthday and it was a wonderful meal from start to finish. We were seated upstairs and we loved that the atmosphere was calm and quiet inside (aside from the nice live music) and the chaos of downtown Nashville did not permeate into the restaurant. Our server was excellent and was attentive and kind throughout our meal. We ordered the 24 karat cocktail, which my wife loved, and a pour of the Weller 12, which I loved. We really enjoyed the complimentary bread too and the touch of adding some salt mixed with smoked paprika to the butter gave it a really good flavor. My wife ordered the lamb chops with a side of scallops and I had the ribeye with the parmesan/horseradish crust. The lamb and the steak were absolutely delicious and the scallops were some of the best we've ever had. We also had a side of the broccolini (with marcona gremolata) and the crab fried rice, both of which were very good as well. We finished our meal with a Meyer lemon tarte and espresso martini, which was so, so good and a great contrast to the very savory meal. This is really a nice restaurant and we loved everything we had here and we'll definitely be back again!

Yes, yes and absolutely yes. Eddie V's was absolutely fantastic. The restaurant is beautiful and the service was great. We were a large party and we all absolutely enjoyed all of our drinks and food. The truffle mac and cheese is an absolute must!

Great food and excellent service. This is a perfect place to have a classy dinner and escape the commotion on Broadway. The live music was unbelievable, he performed standards with a 3 piece band. The food was outstanding and their famous Chilean Sea Bass in Miso broth is one of the best fish dinners I've had in years. It's expensive but you get value.

Wow, wow, wow! What an amazing evening! My new husband and I went to Eddie V's for our wedding evening dinner. They really gave us an amazing experience! From decorations , service, and perfect food! (Sea bass was perfection) Elliot was our server and took such good care of us! Brian was our sommelier and made sure our experience would be something special! I also want to commend management for making it an experience we will never forget! Thank you Eddie V's!

Food was okay. Service was top notch. I think for a steak we would actually go elsewhere. Our sides were very good. The crab cake was also very good. The burrata salad could use some more tomatoes. The ambiance was also very lovely. Clean white table clothes.

I came here with a large group and had a wonderful time. I have been to their other locations around the country and Eddie V is consistently good. The decor is on the nicer side and food and service were excellent all around. Everything from the cocktails to the oysters to the salads to the ahi tuna and steaks was great. I had the berries and cream for dessert and that was light and delicious.

The service is really great. The staff is always extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Great wine selection. The food is always delicious.

I totally managed my expectations and wasn't disappointed. Our waitress recommended the scalloped as an add on and I was super excited because I really did want to try them. They were smaller than a quarter and 3 of them at room temp for $22. Definitely not worth it. Our ribeye was good. Not amazing but good and cooked perfectly. Our au gratin potatoes were good and our wedge salad was swimming in salad dressing with no blue cheese crumbles or drizzled balsamic. I would say our meal was just ok. This is probably why we're were able to get last minute reservations on a Friday night in Nashville.

I've wanted to try out this place for a while and finally decided to go there for our anniversary. The place was really nice and fancy, staffs and services were excellent. As for the foods we have tuna tartar for appetizers, it was fresh and delicious. I have the twins African lobsters that were excellent. Definitely will come back and try different dishes.

With reservations, this is a great steakhouse. The seafood options are always fresh and the ribeye is delicious, but definitely large enough to share. If you're into live jazz for dinner, this a great place to be.

Eddie V's was everything that I expected it to be and more ! It is definitely a must to dine here ! I definitely suggest reservations and an Uber if possible. We had a couple of cocktails while we waited for our table. The service at the bar was prompt , friendly, and efficient. Me and my husband dined with friends with a party of four . We had a three course meal with appetizers, entrees and dessert. The service was top tier..all of the staff was professionally dressed in white dining coats and black slacks . Our server was pleasant and very versed with the menu . My favorite were the George Bank scallops . They were seated to perfection and seasoned perfectly! I also had crab fried rice which was delicious! I had the 24k cocktail which was great- a respectable pour of liquor and mix of sweet . Everyone at the table loved every dish -seabass, steak tartare, lobster tacos and desserts. This is a MUST to dine!

11/18/23: One of my favorite seafood spot. As I needed a break from all the comfort food this definitely was on my list. Decor is elegant and upscale fits the bill of fine dining. Upon entering warmly greeted and not a long wait was told to proceed up the stairs and hostess will greet us. I must give a special recognition to James our server. Apparently he overheard me talking to my dinner mates about not feeling well. Upon bringing our drinks he also brought a drink of bitters and I think club soda stating he overheard and the drink should help settle my stomach. OMG can you say superior customer service and if wondering I did feel better after consumption. I had the pomegranate mule, very tasty and little strong. Main course: Crab stuffed shrimps. Very tasty and absolutely delicious. Sampled my friend Scallops: one of the best scallops ever. I do believe a little moan was illicit from my mouth after the first bite. They were perfectly sautéed, not rubbery, fresh and well seasoned. My friends had the branzino, also well cooked, seasoned and yummy. Sides We all shared the crab fried rice and the lobster mashed potatoes. I do not know what Nashville does but their potatoes are the creamiest . Dessert We had the crème brûlée and chocolate cake. I partaked in the chocolate cake it was heaven of deliciousness upon my tongue. Sweet, warm, gooey loved by all. Once again Eddie V did not disappoint. I will continue to dine as long as the food and service continue to be too notched.

Have prob walked past this place a few times, looked pretty unassuming, but what a beautiful surprise awaiting inside! Everything from the atmosphere and decor, service, food and drink were exceptional. We just found our newest favorite, knocking others down on our list!

My wife celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary and Eddie V'a was an excellent choice. The food was excellent and the service was perfect. They made our celebration extra special and I would strongly recommend this location for high end dining.

Wow, I obviously shouldn't be surprised but Eddie V's quality is wonderful. Ryan was the absolute best server we could have asked for. He was so incredibly on top of things and ensured everything was to the highest standard. From oysters, to NY strips, to the mashed potatoes, all of the food was fantastic. We will be back!

I have been here twice and both experiences have been exceptional! Strikingly beautiful facility. Professional, helpful, and extremely attentive waitstaff. The best ingredients prepared perfectly. They know the secrets of seasoning and searing meat. Interesting cocktails. This is the gold standard for a modern steakhouse-seafood restaurant.

We've been many times and are never disappointed!! The upstairs and downstairs are equally wonderful depending on the vibe you're looking for. Cocktails are great, service is great and the food is outstanding. The only thing we've ever had that we didn't love was the seafood tower, and that was more because it can't be customized.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! We researched a nice dinner to have and this place looked great from reviews and their menu but it was the complete opposite!!! 1) Once we sat down at our table, it took forever to get our soups as an appetizer meanwhile, the tables around us who sat down after us got their appertizes way faster than us. 2) We order a M steak and that took over an hour and it came out rare!!

Eddie V's is the restaurant we went to twice during our 5 day trip to Nashville! It was very worthy of a double visit! Our party of 7 loved our first dinner and all of the dishes we ordered: stuffed shrimp, scallops, Caesar salads, grilled asparagus, green beans, the steak special of the night, and the scalloped potatoes. The biggest hit of the dinner was the crab fried rice! We had three orders between the 7 of us and all of it was devoured. It was amazingly delicious. Our server Elio was a true pro. He was knowledgeable, helpful, genuinely caring and funny too. The restaurant is gorgeous with so many beautiful details. It is comfortable, luxurious and elegant at the same time, creating an atmosphere of warmth and also hospitality due to the fine service from the entire staff. The second visit consisted of just me and my hubby. It was our last meal of the trip before heading to the airport. We had the crab fried rice again and added the creamed corn as a pairing. We loved the second chance to have the wonderful rice again. Wow, I could that fish every day! Eddies V's also had a happy hour menu too from 4-6:30. Highly recommend to locals and visitors. We will definitely return when we come back to Nashville!

Get ready to drop some $$$$ , but you won't be disappointed, food is excellent,, get there early for happy hour!! Oysters are excellent but the lamb chops and lobster bites were delicious!!! Honestly everything we put in our mouth melted in to bliss!! Right on Broadway! Check it out!

While we LOVE Eddie V's, the Nashville team went above and beyond!! The food was delicious, as always, but the service was NEXT LEVEL! This was for a work event, and when I didn't get a chance to grab any appetizers they brought me my own sea food tower to the table!!! We really enjoyed the staff, their company, and all the fun facts and suggestions they had for us to make our trip memorable. Everyone was such a delight, we wanted them to join us for dinner! And I could not get over how beautiful the dining room was, in complete awe of the chandelier! They are known for their sea food, but the Bananas Foster and espresso Martini are particularly popular for dessert! Can't finish the meal without them! Thank you Eddie V's Nashville!!

We were there last night for a private work, dinner party and it was an outstanding experience! There were several buffet areas to try everything from; lobster, filet mignon, shrimp, oysters, the most delicious rice dishes, homemade fresh bread, and various vegetables! They had so many other selections...we don't eat dessert, however they had a huge dessert table with a great array of beautiful looking items! The entire restaurant staff were so friendly and helpful! We overall loved the beautifully prepared buffet! I imagine if you come here and order any menu item that it will be prepared to perfection! The atmosphere is elegant, inviting and classy! They have a wonderful wine list and a glass enclosed, huge wine selection displayed in the center of the restaurant it's a two-story restaurant it does have a couple of private dining rooms. My husband and I highly recommend that you try this restaurant while visiting Nashville, it's located in the heart of downtown!

My wife and I were here for our 35th wedding anniversary dinner.... Did not know you were suppose to have a reservation but that was no problem for our hostess. She dressed the table with rose petals and made us feel right at home. Our server, Julia, was over the top great! The sourdough bread that was brought to the table hot out of the oven was delicious. The shrimp cocktail was excellent - I love great big shrimp and the cocktail sauce was spot on. My wife had the salmon which was seasoned just right and cooked to perfection. I had the filet and it too was cooked as ordered - medium rare - very tasty with just the right amount of sear and seasoning. The night ended with bananas foster which is perfect for a person who likes a flaming dessert. This dinner was a great experience and beat the Dominos pizza we had 35 years ago on this same night!

A great seafood & steakhouse. Everything we ordered was fantastic. The wine list was extensive and robust. Rack of lamb was prepared perfectly. Our waiter asked if we were having a leisurely dinner & accommodated our desires. Excellent service.

This is one of my favorite restaurants! They have been consistent whether I'm dining in Palm Springs, CA or Houston, TX. For Father's Day this was my choice! I started with the evening with a smoked old fashion. For the appetizer we had Maine Lobster Bisque and Maine Lobster Taco's. For dinner, we had the Chilean Sea Bass, Jumbo Gulf Shrimp and Crab fried rice. All of these dishes were great! Overall, the food, drinks, service, portion size and the ambiance in Eddie V's is great!

Stopped in Eddie V's for their Happy Hour before our show at Ryman Auditorium. Perfect stop after walking Broadway....quiet & comfortable!...and not packed! Sat at the bar. Good cosmos! Lobster tacos off the chart and a delicious crab cake! Bar tender was friendly; food service was good! If you're looking for a more sophisticated atmosphere and don't mind spending a little extra money...this is the place for you! If you're looking for chix wings and mozzarella sticks...loud music, sub standard drinks then keep walking down Broadway....there's plenty of that to choose from! But Eddie V's is worth a visit!

Perfect place for an upscale dinner on Broadway in downtown Nashville. Great for a small group or a date night. The service was absolutely perfect, shout out to George! Everyone loved their food. The calamari starter was possibly the best I've ever had. The Asian inspired sauce poured over the calamari tableside was delicious. The truffle mac and cheese was al dente, well seasoned, creamy, and had the perfect amount of truffle. I highly recommend as a side. The crab stuffed gulf shrimp were good, but having only 4 medium sized shrimp seemed underwealming for the price. Especially when my wife received two large filets with her Parmigiano crusted sole, which was excellent. I would get that next time instead of the shrimp. The bananas foster flambeed tableside was a great presentation and tasty. We will definitely be returning.

It was just ok. Competent. The staff was lovely, nice ambience, but the food was nothing to write home about. The drinks were mediocre. The warm goat cheese salad was nice, but a little unbalanced with the flavors. The steak was good quality but was more well done than medium well. The sides, brussels sprouts and sweet corn, were unremarkable. For the price points, I would expect better balances of flavor and better attention to detail when cooking -- the technique was sorely missing.

12/23/23 Updating my review a year later. My wife and I have been to Eddie V's multiple times since our first visit and have always had incredible service and the food is always consistent and incredible. The food has not changed, the crab cakes, steaks, sides, cocktails, all still great quality. However my most recent visit should be addressed. We sat at the bar downstairs for the first time since we did not have a reservation, and it is first come first serve, and on a busy Saturday evening we knew we would have to wait, which was fine. We waited approximately 30 minutes and a couple got up, so we naturally went over to take their seats at the bar. After we sat down, the bartender Elio came over and said "would you guys like some drinks?" And simultaneously sat down 2 reserved signs at the bar in front of us. I said No, we are going to eat dinner as well. He responds and says "so sorry guys, my friends texted me earlier this evening and I'm saving these for them," and asked us to get up. He wasn't rude about it however we were already sitting down and he was clearing the previous people's dinner. Obviously this was a shock and disappointing since it's a first come first serve atmosphere. We waited another 30-45 minutes before another couple got up and we took their spot. We were not particular greeted at that time by any bartender, there were 3 people working the bar. we asked for bread, multiple times before we received it after our appetizer. The bartender didn't pour my wine, took me getting someone else to do it. Just multiple episodes of ignoring us really. Finally food came, and mostly all was well after that. Just ask that the bartenders are a little more respectful and tending. Unfortunately a big difference in service compared to the servers. (Still a shoutout to Sean the best server there)

Lissen......I have not had an experience this delightful in many years. From the ambience to the service to the food....this was top tier. Our server, Hayley, was very attentive. Always checking to make sure we were ok. We ordered a few drinks (strong but good). Hot and fresh and delicious bread came out soon after. The bread was heavenly. We ordered entrees, jumbo gulf shrimp, lamb lollipops, filet sliders, filet, crab fried rice and lobster mashed potatoes. The FOOD WAS PHENOMENAL!!!! It was well seasoned, hot, fresh and delicious. I cannot tell you how great the food was. It was so good that we ended up ordering dessert (even though we were all full). We ended with crème brûlée and bananas foster butter cake. The butter cake is flambéed table side. The dessert was as fantastic as the entrees. This place is absolutely delicious and I highly recommend it!!!

I am so disappointed to have to leave this review. I have enjoyed Eddie Vs in the past, but after yesterday, I doubt I will return. I went with my daughter and son in law we had reservations for 5 pm, and we were seated promptly. I also have to say our waiter, Nick, was charming and professional catering to all our requests. The cavier was wonderful, a must-have. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. The filet Oscars crab was extremely fishy, as was the lobster mashed potatoes to the point we had to send them back. The corn was not tender and fresh but old and thick. Nick, on his own, was doing a good trying to recover our guest experience. However, what pushed me over the edge was when the Manager on Duty, a younger man with darker skin and a purple and black suit on. He was heading straight towards our table and then looked at us like we were the "have nots" and then went and socialized with other guests. This showed a lack of professionalism that just left me iin awe. Manager on Duty, I can afford fine dining. Can you, as you judge me?

Great food and the service cannot be beat! We loved how personalized everything was! The scallops cannot be missed!

Just fantastic food, service and atmosphere! They command a high price but deliver the value each time!

The Parmesan Sole is definitely a disaster. It's overly salty and I can barely taste anything but saltiness. I don't think I would know I'm enjoying a piece of fish if the name is not on the menu.

Classy ambience, great service, excellent seafood. We enjoyed the lobster bisque, brought to the table covered and poured at the table. We had the salmon, which is done medium rare by default, the crab stuffed shrimp, and side of scallops and a plate of asparagus. Everything was very good.
