Eddie V's Prime Seafood

My wife and I came here for our Anniversary dinner. It was our first time eating at an Eddie V’s restaurant. We’ve heard good things about it so we decided to try it. When I made my reservation, I notified them that we were celebrating our anniversary. Upon arrival, we were seated right away and the restaurant had a very nice surprise at our table. There were rose petals all over the table and a card from the management congratulating us for the date. Our server was very courteous and recommended several dishes. We decided to get the Surf N Turf which was the Chef’s special. The food tasted great and our drinks were fantastic. I personally loved the “private plane”. Very good bourbon cocktail. The only down side was the atmosphere. We were seated next to a large group of people. Over 10 people. It was a bit louder than I would of liked it to be for such an important dinner.

This is a lovely steakhouse with excellent service, delicious food, and fabulous cocktails. It’s the perfect place to celebrate your birthday at and they truly go above and beyond. Our waiter was thoughtful and gave us lots of space to enjoy our meal. We dressed up a little for this location but I noticed that not all customers did. All in all this location is perfect for a date night, anniversary dinner, birthday, or anything else you want to make special.

Where do I begin... Over the 4th of July, my wife and I traveled to San Diego with some close friends to celebrate their 50th anniversary. One evening, we chose to dine at Eddie V’s—and it turned out to be the perfect decision. We started with a trio of appetizers: raw oysters, crab cakes, and ahi tuna tartare. Each one was absolutely outstanding and paired beautifully with the stunning ocean view, which set the tone for the rest of the evening. For our entrées, we enjoyed filet mignon with scallops, lamb chops, truffle mac and cheese, and au gratin cheddar potatoes. Every bite was rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. To top it all off, we shared the Meyer lemon tart for dessert—and just thinking about it still makes my mouth water! Our server (forgive me for not recalling her name) made the night even more special by surprising our friends with a beautiful dessert and a heartfelt “Happy Anniversary.” Her service was impeccable—attentive yet unobtrusive. She anticipated every need without being overbearing, which is a rare talent and something we all deeply appreciated. The entire experience left us smiling. One thing is certain: we won’t return to San Diego without coming back to Eddie V’s. It was a truly memorable meal and a perfect way to celebrate a very special occasion. - Thank you all!

This restaurant is the standard for what fine dinning is. Took my wife here for her 4 day birthday celebration and she loved it. The customer service was 10/10. We both loved the food so much we can't stop talking about it. I had the best steak of my life here. I can't wait to come back.

Just went Eddie V’s tonight for a celebratory dinner for our monthly production goal. Had an amazing experience with Gio. His attention to detail was impeccable. He brought us the most amazing dessert for our special occasion and took the time to actually get to know us as people! If you come here I recommend Gio as your server he’s AMAZING!!

No matter what city we go to, we always know we are in for a great meal at Eddie V’s. Had a delicious dinner with friends, sat at the bar and had great conversation with the bartender and other diners. The evening was nicely enhanced with some live music playing classic jazz and some jazzed up takes on songs like “Creep” by Radiohead

Gio was an absolutely amazing! His attentiveness and attention to every detail made our dinner the best it could have been. He went above and beyond to make our experience the best it could be . He completely astounded me and exceeded every expectation I had! Thank you Gio!

My family celebrated my birthday here on January 11. We've eaten at their Orange County location and didn't have high expectations. I chose this restaurant primarily for its proximity to our hotel, the Grand Hyatt Manchester. We needed a place easily accesible for my father and his motorized scooter. My father had no problems navigating his scooter to the elevator inside the restaurant. The hostess kindly guided us to a nice table just inside a large dining room on the second floor with ample room for his scooter nearby. Our meal and the service we received from Polly blew us away and made for a truly memorable evening! We started with cocktails and the smoked old fashioned was smooth, perfectly balanced, and one of the best cocktails I've had to date. I still dream about that cocktail and wish I'd ordered more than one! We enjoyed the live jazz music playing in the background, but it wasn't so loud that it interfered with our dinner conversations. The four of us ordered the calamari, crab cake, two orders of seabass, a bone-in ribeye, fried rice, and grilled asparagus. Everything was incredibly delicious, especially the crab cake and seabass. Polly paced the meal perfectly and was super attentive even though our order was quite modest, especially for a busy weekend night. Thank you Polly for the memorable birthday meal! I wish we lived closer so we could visit more often!!

The food that we had at Eddie V's was amazing. What really made our experience first class was our waiter, Charlie. He was incredibly nice, funny, and attentive through out the entire meal to make sure we were more than satisfied. He's one of the best waiters I've ever had in my entire life. I would absolutely come back to Eddie V's, and would hope that we would have Charlie again.

INCREDIBLE! If you haven't tried Eddie V's, run don't walk there. This classy steakhouse combines the perfect ambience, cuisine and impeccable service to make this a true 5 + star restaurant. I have gone to many Eddie V's restaurants over the years that are fantastic but this one is always constantly above the rest. Our server, Martin, is hands down the absolute best. He is incredibly attentive, knowledgable, and aware of your needs even before you know you need it. If I ever owned a high end food establishment, I would want Martin there. Our group reserved one of the private rooms and had one of the best meals of my life. Because of my love of food, I love trying what everyone orders. The chilean sea bass cannot be beat anywhere. The rich buttery sea bass is right up there with the south African lobster tail that was sweet and so smooth with flavor profiles to make you melt. The Petrossian royal caviar baked potatoes were such a fun play on twice baked potatoes that elevated and reignited my love for these delectable treats. The deep flavors of fresh heirloom tomatoes paired with a perfectly smooth burrata cheese made the perfect salad and I could not stop eating it! My blue cheese crusted filet was a melt in your mouth experience that I have ONLY had at Eddie V's with that cut of meat, that was honestly comparable to wagyu. Thank you Eddie V's for being a superb steakhouse that I cant wait to enjoy again and again.

We had the most incredible experience at Eddie V's in San Diego on the 4th of July, and a huge part of that was thanks to our phenomenal server, Ryan. From the moment we sat down, Ryan was attentive, personable, and genuinely kind. His charming personality and sense of humor made our dining experience even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely amazing, and the ambiance was perfect for a festive evening. If anyone is considering visiting Eddie V's, I highly recommend it--you are guaranteed to have a great time, especially if you're lucky enough to have Ryan as your server. We can't wait to visit again soon!

Fabulous taste, flavor, and ambiance. I had the Maine lobster tacos for lunch on Sunday and they were absolutely Devine! Great combination of tantalizing flavors. The views were fantastic. It was an enjoyable, calm, peaceful, experience. The service was slow but the staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive to our needs. We will come here again:)

Price: 4* Service: 5* Taste: 5* Value: 3* Enjoyed a surf and turf dinner here during a conference. The shellfish tower was fantastic. Huge, ample in quantity and quality. Very fresh and tasty. This was the most disappointing experience I've had at an upscale "$$$$" restaurant. Ambiance: at least this element was what you'd expect - high ceilings, white table cloths, leather seats, and live jazz. Service: HORRENDOUS. We had to chase after the server after sitting at our table for 30 minutes and not having a single person take orders for drinks. I finally got water and some iced tea after asking 3 different people, since the first two people (don't remember names) told me frantically "give me a few minutes maam..." and never returned. I never got my refill either. Same goes for getting napkins. Dinner orders were taken in a hurry, and no recommendations were offered on request. I found the waiters poorly trained and rude. It wasn't a busy night, and maybe a sixth of the restaurant was full. There was no excuse for the slow speed of service and/or lack of service all together. I expected much, MUCH better at a place like this. Food: SUBPAR at best. - The Caesar salad dressing is thin, watery, and very anchovy-forward. It was inedible aside from the croutons. Couldn't get my waiter to give me enough attention to have the salad remade or replaced ... - The sautéed vegetables were swimming in butter. The butter had hardened on the plate by the time we got the main dish to go with it. - I ordered my filet mignon MEDIUM and I got it very RARE. it was so tough to chew. I asked the waiter twice if they could cook it more, and each time he said "give me a few minutes." After another 20 minutes, I ended up just asking for a box and told him I'll take it home and cook it myself. It was incredibly frustrating. -the Norwegian salmon was OK, nothing to brag about from a "prime seafood" restaurant standpoint ... I think they forgot the described mustard and rye whiskey glaze. - Au Gratin Cheddar Potatoes: haha... largely lacked potatoes. All cream and cheese. Hard pass. - Warm Belgian Chocolate Cake a la mode: served cold...but at least the berries it came with were fresh. I hate having to write this review, as I was looking forward to this place...but, what a bust. Service and food definitely need serious attention for the price tag. Getting dinner should not be a 3 hour ordeal involving begging for someone to take your order and get it right.

Eddie V's San Diego, NEVER disappoints. We have been coming to Eddie Vs for well over a decade now and have yet to experience ANY issue. The service is impeccable, if you're planning a birthday/ anniversary or special occasion dinner, let them know. They go above and beyond to make your experience stellar, EVERY, SINGLE, time. You will not be disappointed! Our servers are always kind, and informative. However, Javier is a diamond for this location. He makes sure ever single detail of your dish and experience to your liking, and will not stop until you are over 100 percent satisfied. Now that's top tier service! The food, is noteworthy. The tender, juicy, PRIME meats are exquisite, and cooked perfectly. Every side is well seasoned and a perfect accompaniment to any full course you choose. We've had almost everything off of their menu, and each and every item hits the mark. Moreover, the drinks are made well! Whether it's a perfectly paired wine, or a jazzed up cocktail, Eddie Vs has just the right cocktail to further jazz up your experience. Plenty of street parking, and valet if desired. Dress up, enjoy the jazz, relax, unwind, and treat yourself because this Yelpers is not only noteworthy food, but a noteworthy experience. Cheers to a SOLID, 5 STARS! My husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. Reservations online were simple and quick. We booked for 11am when they opened on a Saturday. Parking can be tough but we were able to find a spot since it was early in the day. With being first at open, we had a bit of privacy to ourselves. We sat outdoor and was able to overlook the ocean. Our server, Trevor, was an absolute pleasure and very good about suggestions on the menu and recommending staff favorites. They had a little note on the table for us with rose petals to congratulate us for dining for our occasion. Drinks: Smoked old fashioned - my husband really enjoyed it, it was less alcohol forward than I expected when I tried it. It was enjoyable for me (not common for this type of drink) they served it table side with the cloche and cedar. It was a delight. 24karat - was quite sweet for me but still enjoyable. Rose sparking wine - light, good for if wanting to enjoy alcohol early in the day Champagne - can't go wrong here Starters: Oysters: my husbands favorite was the Irish point oysters and I enjoyed the blue points most. The horseradish was quite spicy but brought a good heat. A little goes a long way. Caviar: hard to not be good however I would have preferred the creme fraiche and the caviar to be served separately. Bread and butter: offered with our meal and the bread was so fresh out of the oven. Great flavor. Entree: Sea bass - my husband loved this dish. He typically loves fish but it has an Asian style way of preparing it with soy and I think it was steamed. Presentation was great but I forgot to take a picture... he ate it too fast haha Shrimp - I got the shrimp with lump crab and lemon. It was very flavorful! Sides: Au gratin - MUST TRY. Great texture. broccolini - tasty! Good way to balance the potatoes. Dessert: We ordered the creme brûlée and it was excellent and a large portion (more custard than other restaurants I've been to) I couldn't fit the picture bc I included the special occasion dessert of the bananas foster butter cake. The butter cake is seriously something you should not miss. Please get it! Overall what a wonderful way to celebrate. We were so glad to have chosen to go to Eddie V's. This is definitely a place that will ensure your celebration is about YOU.

I had a lovely time here. The food and drinks are appetizing. We started with the sashimi and it instantly left us wanting more. We ordered the lobster mashed potatoes and compared to other places like the huntress; the lobster amount at Eddie v"s did not fall short. For dessert we ordered the banana foster and we were impressed when they lit it on fire. What a nice touch. Service was really good despite the fact that they were very busy. They had live music by the bar. Looking forward to returning here.

Oysters, salad and cocktail's were superb. The bananas foster was the BOMB!!! Fell in love at first bite of the butter cake it was served with. Service was friendly and on point, nice ambiance and near the water. Sketchy waitress kept going to the closet .. seem like was high on something.. nevertheless We will return!!!

There aren't enough stars for this restaurant. We had all around amazing experience mainly because of our server Miguel. He was hands down one of the best servers we have ever had. He made sure to acknowledge our young daughter and include her in the whole experience which she really enjoyed. Now let's talk about the food I've had lots of crab cakes in my time, but their crab cake was the BEST I've ever had. I cannot even find the words to describe the deliciousness of this dish! Just get it! My husband ordered the shellfish tower and raved about it. The warm goat cheese salad was also amazing. Can't forget the crème brûlée! What a fabulous meal! Check out Eddie V's and ask for Miguel. He will guarantee a wonderful experience!

Our go to steak place. The service and food never disappoint. Must get their yellowtail sashimi and banana foster butter cake. They also have an amazing view of the ocean. Always a 10/10 experience there.

We have eaten at the Eddie V's in Orange County a lot and love it but this was our first time here at their Downtown San Diego location and it was also fantastic! We were able to make a reservation online. Is their website. Their restaurant is large and they also have a bar where you can order the same menu as the restaurant OR they have a Happy Hour Menu Monday-Thursday (just not Fri-Sun). The restaurant is located at The Headquarters center right next to Seaport Village and the Manchester Grand Hyatt. It is walking distance from both. You enter the restaurant from the outside of the center off of Pacific Hwy on the same side as the Starbucks. We are in the main dining room and our server was Eddie. He was phenomenal! Our service was too notch and he made us feel special with his personable, attentive, friendly, service. We tried a few new items: Corn side - meh I didn't like the mixed in chopped bell peppers Goat cheese mushroom arugula warm salad - Outstanding! Would get again for sure! Yellowtail Sashimi - pretty good. I love sushi and this was a heavier soy sauce based sauce than I usually prefer on yellowtail but it was still flavorful and the quality of the fish was great And a few of our favorites: Lobster tacos - always a must order! Delicious!!! Bananas Foster Buttercake - best dessert on the menu! If you dont like the alcohol taste of the flambé you can get it without which is what I do The steaks here are our favorite and I also like their Parmesan crusted sole and my husband likes the miso cod. Overall we had a wonderful dinner here and highly recommend this location!

The filet with broccolini and au gratin potatoes was one of the best meals I have ever had! The 24 karat cocktail was absolutely amazing! The butter cake was phenomenal . The ambiance was perfect. The live band was great and our server could not have provided better service. He was on top of everything and very attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant!

This review is overdue, yet I could not allow another five-start review to go unnoticed. Another visit to Eddy V's for a birthday celebration and another most excellent dinner to rave about. My husband and I absolutely love Eddy V's not only for their outstanding service but for their delicious seafood. I know, it's a steakhouse but the seabass and sablefish are to die for. We went all out and had Caesar salads and their giant crabcake to start AND their crab fried rice to add to our entrees. It was an absolutely phenomenal experience. The manager, Farzana Hussain, even came to visit our table to make sure everything was perfect. We were very pleasantly surprised that she would take time during their busy dinner hours to stop and chat. Another sign of not only awesome food but a great management team. The entire staff was so hospitable and professional, making our evening as lovely as we expected. Thank you, again, to the management team and staff for keeping up the great work.

This place is AMAZING!!!! We are always in search of the best happy hour hack and this place is at the top of our list. Our servers name was Crystal and she made a big impact on our dining experience and we now request her by name when we visit every Thursday. Aside from the great service, all of the appetizers are reasonably priced and delicious. Eddie V's get our Michelin Star. Ps. The live music is an added bonus too #twoacrosstown Cya there

Wife mentioned her friend came here so thought I would try new surprise restaurant for our anniversary. I made reservations ahead and were seated on the top section of the restaurant which had view of main floor. We were greeted with red rose petals and an anniversary card waiting for us at our table. Polly was our server and was very attentive and nice. We started our dinner by each of us ordering a Red Dragon Mojito. Very nice drink as we both are fans of mojitos. She ordered a BLT Wedge Salad and I had the Lobster Bisque to start our meal. My Lobster Bisque had a big claw in it waiting in the bowl as they poured the bisque into it. Both were enjoyed. When they tell you plates are hot take heed. I moved mine a little and was made aware of it. I wasn't burned. My wife ordered a small Filet Mignon and I ordered the Medallions Oscar style with Lump Crab, asparagus and Bernaise Sauce. Both steaks were nicely cooked to our requested doneness. we also ordered the Au Gratin Cheddar Potatoes and took about 2/3 of these home-good portion. We then were each served a glass of champagne and was given a complimentary bananas foster desert fired up at our table. Fancy! Great touch to finish our excellent dinner. Wait! that wasn't it. My wife was given a red rose and I got the bag of leftover potatoes. lol.

Once again, I had to come to this place when I am visiting San Diego. As usual, this place didn't upset us. We ordered the Filet mignon which we got medium rare along with truffle mac n cheese and Brussel sprouts. The steaks were cooked perfect and seasoned great. The mac n cheese tasted cheesy, noodles cooked right, and it had plenty of truffle on it. The Brussel sprouts were cooked perfect with some type of sauce on it along with nuts, it was great. Although we had a reservation we still had to wait 20 min more which was not good, but other than that the service was great. The music was as well.

Top notch establishment! The 22 oz Steak was juicy, flavorful and hot. For an accompaniment I ordered scalloped gratin potatoes which was fabulous cheesy layers of yumminess and a large portion--feeds three people as a side with a steak. Burratta and beet salad was tasty, I just wish it would of had some greens with it, such as arugula or spring greens. All the wait staff were courteous and friendly. Ambiance is upscale cool. Would go again!

Another perfect experience at Seaport Eddie V's. We frequent both locations and while the view can't be beat at La Jolla, we feel the service is a half notch above at Seaport Village. We were celebrating and were treated like royalty. Service staff was excellent -- friendly and helpful. Food was excellent -- perfectly cooked and served piping hot . I ordered a glass from the new "perfect pours" section and the manager came over to do the pour himself. We were given complementary desserts due to our celebration and it was delicious. But don't wait for a celebration to come and experience this place.

Last weekend, my husband and I went out to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary and we were lucky to select Eddie V's. It was our first time there and we had a wonderful evening. When my husband made the reservation, he had mentioned that it was our anniversary. When we arrived at the table, it was covered with rose petals and had a handwritten card waiting. The restaurant was large and spacious. It had two stories and a huge, tall wall of wines. There was a musician playing the piano through the night, with added to the romantic atmosphere. The wine list was large, but smaller as I was choosing wine by the glass. I was able to narrow it down to a couple of my favorite Cabs from Napa and Sonoma. My husband chose the smoked old fashioned with the tabletop presentation (see in the video). They brought warm, complimentary bread and butter, which was a nice start while we were making decisions from the menu. We started with a half dozen oysters. There were several varieties to choose from with descriptions, and the ones we chose were delicious. My husband also enjoyed the lobster bisque which was warm and rich. My meal was the ahi tuna, and it was so tender that it melted in my mouth. I also ordered a side of green beans with toasted almonds. The beans came in a huge portion, enough for two people. They were fresh and perfectly cooked. At the end of the meal, our service slowed for a moment, and I started to look for our server to ask for our check as we had to get to another event. He showed up with two complimentary glasses of champagne for our anniversary. Then, he returned with our check, and a complimentary dessert platter, with bananas foster, two chocolate cookies, and a sorbet. The bananas foster had another tabletop presentation (see video). It was more of a bananas foster butter cake and was absolutely delicous. The sorbet went perfectly with the champagne, and the cookies were perfect to take with to our next event. What a sweet finish to a delicious meal! Anyway, I recommend Eddie V's for a romanic, special celebration. It is a beautiful, classy establishment with great food.

Always a great experience even during Happy Hour. I have dined at Eddie V's a number of time for business and personal. Each time has been great from the greeting by the hostess to the wait staff. The food comes out timely and you're always greeted with a smile.

Service was great, food was great. Very good lamb chops. I wish there were more. Surprised to only get two lamb chops though. I don't know if I am just being greedy but I've been to a few places that give a little more. Fried rice was great. I've been to a few steakhouses and this was my first time getting crab fried rice at a steakhouse. Also, the Crab cakes were spectacular, lots of crab, not a lot of breading!

We eat at Eddie V's quite often. We went this time for the Thanksgiving day dinner. It was so fabulous that I don't think I will cook turkey dinner again! It was traditional turkey dinner with all the trimmings : mashed potatoes, gravy, baked butternut squash, green beans, stuffing and cranberries. Robert, our server was attentive, polite and amazing. I will ask for his section again. We brought a special bottle of wine with us. There was a $25.00 corkage fee. Robert saw that our glasses were kept full! The restaurant is nicely decorated and quiet so you can have a conversation without shouting. Walking distance from downtown. The happy hour is a favorite of ours too.

Always happy to eat at Eddie V's. I first tried it in Tampa so I was so excited to find they had a location in San Diego. The team was super sweet and brought me a rose when they found out I was celebrating my pregnancy. I love that the downstairs bar area had live music! Such a great vibe. All the food was amazing! You can't go wrong with any of the options. Scallops cooked to perfection. Crab fried rice so flavorful and had a hint of spice The lemon tart was my favorite dessert of the evening

Definitely come for the happy hour. The filet sliders were absolutely delicious. I could have eaten 5 if not for the large size portion they provided Service impeccable and ambiance was absolutely amazing. Lamb Lollipops were also worthwhile

Brandon is the best bartender ever. Food was high quality and price was fair given the location. The view is exceptional. But seating is somewhat limited, so make a reservation and consider going on weekdays.

Celebrated another anniversary here &of course it definitely did not disappoint!! I actually tried lamb chops medium well this time and it was soo bomb with the chimchurri sauce. I prob spelled that wrong. But so good by itself. The oyster were so fresh, I couldn't get hubs to try them out, so I got to enjoy them all to myself! We were lucky enough to try a little sampler of warmed, whipped goat cheese on a small slice of toasted bread and garnished with a Watermelon radish. Definitely would try the full appetizer next time! We were also given a dessert trio for our anniversary! It was 2 mini chocolate cookies, my all time fave butter cake& a Strawberry sorbet. Everything was on point, even down to our waiter Charles! He was so awesome!

I ordered the salmon but first asked the waiter if the salmon was wild caught. He assured me it was. The salmon served was clearly farm-raised, light pink in color without the firmness of wild caught Atlantic salmon. If the waiter had been honest about, or knowledgeable about the salmon I would have ordered the filet mignon which did look good

Consistently amazing. I've been here often and it never disappoints. First of all, I made a last minute reservation and to my surprise they remembered it was my anniversary (I didn't mention it) from a note from when I dined there 5 years ago! It was seriously a nice surprise. We had a little card snd rose petals on our table :) Valet parking is right up front and there is street parking and a couple parking garages as well. We dined outside and it was pleasant, there were heaters and of course the most amazing view. Everything was top notch from the ambience, service and the delicious food. We shared a wedge salad and had oysters for appetizers. Everything was great and fresh! I had the sea bass .. which was so delicious and the crispy Brussel sprouts. My date had the rib eye and it was cooked to perfection. I love this place and I highly recommend it! Oh and if you like vodka, purple, and cool looking cocktails - get the Hope Diamond cocktail. Seriously so yummy!

The steak was exceptional and the eggs were amazing. The wait time was kinda slow probably because we came during Easter. The wine cellar was big and cool and they have to use a ladder the ambience was elegant and quiet.

The food was good but expensive. My filet mignon was supposed to be a 10 ounce, but it seemed more like a 7 ounce. We tried all the desserts which were very good. Our waiter Martin was good and attentive and took good care of our group of 8.

Let me start by saying, this was the perfect dinner selection for our second wedding anniversary. I have no regrets coming here, as everything throughout the evening was so well prepared and served. To start, our server (Charlie) was one of the highlights of the evening. He was courteous, funny, and extremely attentive of all our needs. He even went above and beyond to accommodate my seven-month pregnant wife, who was pleased to be given a thorough breakdown of all the dessert and main course ingredients. Even the manager, Melissa, came to check in on how we were doing. The service here gets 5/5 stars alone. As for the highlights of our dinner, my wife and I chose the Chilean Bass and 18oz New York Steak. The food was superb, and left us feeling satisfied with our cravings. The whole dinner was accompanied by the appropriate jazz ambiance, elevating the whole experience. I went for Mother's Day and enjoyed the vibe inside the restaurant. I had the rack of lamb and was not disappointed. My husband went with the steak and the old-fashioned to drink. Customer service was great, even for a bust night she came and checked on us frequently.

Great for special occasions! We went there for our wedding anniversary and they made it so special. They laid out, rose, petals on our table and gave us a special anniversary dessert. Our server was amazing! She helped us with the portions, and I never felt like we were up sold extra food. We ordered the perfect amount of food and everything was delicious.

Chilean Sea Bass, lobster smashed potatoes, crab stuffed shrimp and the lobster bisque were all incredible. Service was exactly how I remember a real restaurant providing full service. I feel like this level of service hardly exists any more. The attentiveness, and food quality say it all for me. We came on VDay and were able to enjoy a romantic dinner on the patio while there was live bustling music inside.

Food, service, the ambiance was excellent!! The crab cake, not in these pictures, but it wasvto die for! Nothing disappointed, we'll definitely be back!

I went yesterday with some family and it was incredible! The food is beyond delicious, the service was impeccable and the ambiance was beautiful. I got the crab stuffed shrimp with the lobster bisque on the side and both were so tasty. The service was wonderful too 5/5 stars and everyone was so kind and helpful. I loved the ambiance especially with the live music playing, and the exquisite decor. I highly recommend you go here!

I love the dark, calm vibe Eddie's offers. We sat in an area to the left with a sky light which gave us a bit more lighting but dimmed as the night went on. We skipped the bread and alcohol this night due to personal reasons, but the bread definitely smelled delightful. Our waitress was kind and patient. She definitely made the experience even better. We ordered scallops (a bit sad because other post show an order of 6), which were buttery and delicious. We ordered the sautéed spinach, the lobster mash potatoes which as always were phenomenal, and my friend enjoyed the Chilean sea bass. The meal was delicious.

This is a very fancy place so a lot of people celebrate special occasions. It's right by the water so it's a really pretty since sunset. For dinner, we got oysters, scallops, crab fried rice, Brussel sprouts, and white fish. I really enjoyed the scallops, fried rice and brussels sprouts. They made a happy birthday dessert plate, which I thought was really cute.

You won't be disappointed. My husband and I went to dinner here, we were blown away by the outstanding service, romantic atmosphere, live band, and outstanding food. The restaurant is amazing, you must try the truffle Mac and cheese. Our server's name was Robert. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we wanted. We were thoroughly impressed by his knowledge of the menu, all of his recommendations, and overall genuine friendliness.

I've been here about 15 times we go to San Diego. We like to hit La Jolla because this place has the best calamari. We also love the oysters and they have this purple drag those pretty fun also. Great service amazing food in Scottsdale has a really nice ambience, but nothing can match looking over the ocean in La Jolla!!

Wow wow wow. What an amazing experience! I am a classic meat and potatoes, kind a woman and I love upscale steak houses. Typically, we go to Ruth Chris for our special occasions, but my husband wanted something different for our 10 year anniversary. Yeah, this might be my new favorite we were seated at a booth with rose petals on our table, metallic confetti, and an anniversary card. The filet mignon was amazing, and perfectly seasoned. Naturally, you can't miss with lobster and because you just can't have enough lobster we also had the lobster mashed potatoes, which were creamy and delicious. To be honest, the crabcake had too much breading and was not one of my favorites but I really loved the sauce. It was an especially nice touch that our server brought out two complementary glasses of champagne for us to toast and took our picture for us. Additionally, he helped us close out the night with a wonderful dessert trio with some flambé action. The location is pretty much right on the water which helped for the chill San Diego vibe we come for. I can't wait to try the location in the desert. Pro tip - Don't just show up if you're celebrating a special occasion. Make a reservation specifying the event and the staff will treat you well.

A great spot for a date night or to celebrate a special occasion We ordered a variety of food but the main standouts were the shrimp cocktail, the sea bass (best I have ever had), and the bananas fosters butter cake The service is top notch Just be prepared for an expensive evening!

I love this restaurant so much! I go there for special events like birthdays and stuff like that! I enjoy every time I go there, never had one complaint. The food is amazing, the drinks are amazing, the service is amazing. I just love this place hehe. I definitely recommend everyone to go there and enjoy!

I am giving this restaurant a 5 star review not for their food but base on their excellent and exceptional service!I celebrated my son and I, birthday dinner here without any expectations but I was very happy that I picked this place to celebrate a special occasion. They made our birthday celebration very special. As soon as we get to our table, I saw a Happy Birthday card with confettis on our table which was very sweet and very touching. Not just that, but they also brought us roses for me and my son, it was so beautiful! It really made our day more special. Our server was so nice and polite. We each ordered the 12oz steak and asparagus on the side but I kinda regret ordering it. Although my sons steak was cooked right, My steak has lots of fats and was served raw! I had one or two bites and I was already dismayed, the flavors was so bland it tasted like They only seasoned it with just salt. I cut the center of the steak and it was so raw I can see the blood. I called the server and have them remade my steak.... To my expectations, i thought they are going to make me a new steak but they just re-cooked/charred the very same steak, cut the fats and bad part and brought it back to me------ still raw! Not just raw but burnt too! I cut the meat, had one bite when I saw the red blood coming out from the meat and was all over in the plate... my steak was floating in blood and oil. It was still raw! I lost my appetite completely seeing all the blood. I called the server again to have it removed and taken back to the kitchen. They offered to make me a new steak but I refused and ordered the yellowtail sashimi instead.... That was not satisfying either but was good enough. Although the manager was so kind to bring me a shrimp cocktail on the house but I did not finished that either. I already lose my appetite. They were very nice and service is really exceptional, but just the food was disappointing which made me think, maybe to never order a steak in a seafood restaurant in the first place. Maybe if I ordered something else we will have a better and more pleasurable experience and an unforgettable one in a good note. On the other hand, the desserts was amazing! They served us two happy birthday desserts... banana dessert for my son and chocolate for me.... It was delicious! The dessert with the bananas was the best! It was so good and They poured syrup on it with fire, that was dramatic and completed our dinner. Even though there was problems on the foods, we were still happy and thankful for the generosity and gesture. We truly appreciate, it was still a lovely experience. We would be coming back again but not for the steak for sure but maybe to try more of their seafoods.... lol! thank you!

The food and ambiance fell short for us. Made a reservation for dinner at 6 and didn't leave til closer to 9:30p after waiting for dessert. The service was generally good, but rather slow and they added 20% gratuity since we had a party of 6. We were seated upstairs and it was so dark and crowded. Food was alright, three stars because the scallops were very salty and not evenly cooked. The steak was huge and cooked as requested (no complaints there), the rest of the food was mediocre for the price point. We ordered a bottle of wine, cocktails, and the flaming banana rum dessert and lemon tart.
