Their food is very good. Not so sweet like other American Chinese places, fried rice is delicious. Even their eggrolls are really good.

I haven’t been home to DC area in about 8 years and my first stop was to get some chicken wings with mambo sauce and fries. We decided to try Eddie’s since it was nearby where we were staying! The food came out perfect! My family and I was very pleased! Next time we visit DC area from Oklahoma, we will definitely stop by to Eddies to grab some food! No complaints! My wife and daughter was very satisfied with everything as well! Shrimp and fried rice was good too!

Absolutely disgusting, awful food. Ordered the beef, shrimp chicken combo. Chicken was horrible chewy and tasted old, the food itself gave a weird odor. In some parts it tasted like dirty mop water. I threw it away. I’m not sure how people can give this over one star. I absolutely would NOT recommend.

More of a carry-out than a cafe. A variety of sandwiches and Chinese food. My steak and cheese was good. Sub, fries, and bottled drink was $7.85 plus tax. Service is fast and friendly. Only two tables for sitting.

We ordered last night and I was very disappointed with the Kung Pao Chicken. It comes with a very very thick sauce, almost like barbecue consistency and similar to a general tao's dish. One of my favorite parts of a good Kung pao chicken is the dried red chilis and their dish has NONE. How? Not sure. I even specified in the instructions but it seems to me that the sauce is canned and some of their ingredients too, like the mushrooms. Not a fan of food like this. The steamed pork dumplings were good but again, not positive they are fresh.

I moved out of College Park a few weeks ago and I will definitely miss all of the amazing meals that me and my husband enjoyed together from Eddie’s Cafe. Great food and priced right. Hope we can find a good replacement restaurant in our new area.

Americanized Chinese Cuisine isn’t personally my favorite. It’s good when it’s needed most, or when we are not cooking as a family. I this was my first eating spot in Maryland for my short trip in D.C. Wow, I was just blown away. To get started, the food came out actually hot and fresh. I decided to order, rice, chicken lo mein with other included vegetables. It was in a really good portion sized container. I ate the entire thing, that’s how good it really was. I noticed that, they really care about how their food comes out to their customers. Like mentioned, what made it best was how it was just fresh. The service was great as well, I could tell they were quite busy so nothing so special, but they were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere of the restaurant was good. They have limited seating however, mainly a place for takeout. Place was somewhat clean, but honestly, doesn’t bother me. Overall, this restaurant is best just to eat and go. However, their food was an absolute killer. If I ever come back to D.C for a weekend trip, I’m stopping here for a quick stop to eat again.

Food is good, but if you are new, they would charge you double, just order teo things at lunch that were suppose to be less than 20, not even 15 dollars, yet they charge me almost 20, 17 and something. Horrible way to encounter new clients

Wasn't in Washington DC for four days wanted to try mambo wings or mambo sauce on wings. I went here three times this place food is delicious. Seasoned well hot fresh very good would recommend.

Solid Chinese food. Yes, everything in the world is more expensive now...so choose wisely! You will have to meet the delivery lady at her vehicle. She's a sweetheart and makes sure your food is as fresh as possible. Right now, only Chinese food I will pay for.

Today was my first time trying Eddie's and I was extremely pleased! I had chicken wings, shrimp fried rice with mumbo on the side. I requested my wings fried hard and also no onion in my rice. Unfortunately I couldn't get it without onions but with vegetables....they must already have that concoction all mixed together or something idk. My sis got a cheeseburger and fries and we both had half and half. I started talking to other customers while waiting for my meal and they honorably mentioned the fish sub, cheeseburger sub, steak and cheese sub and egg foo young! I plan on going back to try them all! Place looks rinky dink nevertheless the food and service was good. No complaints! Definitely going back for more

My dads been going there for 2+ year because it's the closest to his job, the food is always warm and taste great. Definitely recommend. The staff is very nice to me and my family.

Best Chinese in the area we are loyal to this place soooo good! I usually get the orange chicken with lo mein.

This was my first time ordering from here and i was very disappointed. There was No red sauce for my grandma's wontons, they didn't tell me on the phone that they had no crab sticks ( its in my seafood platter) instead gave me extra shrimp and scallop (2 pieces each bringing that from 3 to 5 each) which I feel like they should have mentioned to me on our phone call or at least called me back as i left my number with them for any issue, also the fried fish in my platter was dry! And One of the rices in my lunch special was supposed to be fried but both were white and upon calling back she said i said white not fried which i know is incorrect because I spoke very slowly and clearly and at length. Also they gave me one duck sauce on a $40 order..... not cool!

So this is an Eat 24 restaurant near my job. I ordered my favorites - Hot and Sour soup and mixed veggies. I ordered a pork egg roll for good measure The soup was delicious with just the right amount of broth, egg, and veggies. Upon opening the lid, I noticed the nice large mushrooms! The soup was spicy and made my nose run a little but that is how a HOT and Sour soup should be. On to the veggies. Most of the time when I order this from a Chinese it's covered in a sauce and besides seeing what I'm eating you can't really taste the difference. Eddie's veggies taste like veggies. I love it!! They were fresh and crisp and I could taste them. The egg roll was perfectly crisp and flavorful. Thank for being yet another delicious choice while at work. Also, the staff were very friendly. My to go order was packaged very well to ensure no leaks from the soup and that the food stayed nice and hot. All utensils and sauce needed were included.

Service/Cleanliness: I have never been on site as I only order delivery, but they take orders over the phone allowing me to pay by cash! That's big for me because most places use app services for ordering, so credit cards are their only acceptable forms of payment. The only reason they get 4 stars not 5 is because they have forgotten my drink on multiple occasions, and I have to walk to the drivers car parked in front of my apartment. But otherwise it's the best in the area! Food: Eddies is my go to carry out! In this area there are a ton of options, but their food is always fresh! It's the only place that I order food outside of wings, because I actually trust that their meat is real white meat chicken! Last night I got the fried wontons and the sweet and sour chicken dinner combo. The fried rice is alway fresh, and not stale or greasy. The chicken is crispy and never soggy! Pro tip: Fried wontons are always a must, and I like to sub sweet and sour sauce out for general tsos.

This is my go-to take out place! I usually order via grubhub, either for delivery or pickup. The restaurant does their own delivery and it can sometimes take awhile, but is 9 out of 10 times on time or early (I live ~10 minutes away so I imagine I'm towards the end of the delivery routes). Pickup is super quick and easy if you don't mind making the drive (definitely cheaper too). I always go for the vegetable lo mein, fries, and spring rolls and they're all super good! Definitely a lot more reasonably priced and better tasting than a lot of other places in the area I've tried/seen. Highly recommend!

You know. I ate here some months ago and my husband recently went back a week ago. I still feel the same way... this place is going to be my go to for mambo/mumbo sauce!! I honestly think Eddie's Cafe, Eddie Leonards, and Wings on Deck have the best mambo/mumbo sauce. They also serve crinkle cut french fries which are my fave! Their fried rice is good, too, and did not leave my tummy with an upsetting feeling (which happens sometimes when I eat at carryouts). I'll be back. Or should I say, WE will be back because my husband loves this place too!

I've been ordering Chinese take out from this place since we moved to this area that the owners recognize me. We love their chicken wings and beef lo mein.

Best Chinese food we have found on the Route 1 corridor! Everything we had was really tasty, fresh, good quality and large servings. The Singapore noodles, egg rolls, fried rice and rib tips were all delicious. The family who owns Eddie's are also super nice.

I had been waiting for several weeks for this place to open, driving by it almost daily, waiting for the paper to come down from the windows while they were setting up. Definitely worth the wait. I got one of their dinner time specials, with tax it was $8.43, not bad at all. I got the Gen Tso's Chicken dinner, it came with an egg roll. After a 5-6 in drive home and a few more mins of unpacking the car the food was still super hot and very good. The Gen Tso's had a really nice flavor, was not soupy or greasy at all, but good consistency and just a great flavor to the sauce. The Fried rice was my only slight complaint, but not enough to warrant losing a star, this place should have five stars. the fried rice was just really salty, too much for my taste, but still good. The egg roll was nice and not greasy either like I've had other places. I'm pretty picky about chinese food, but this place will defintiely be a place i'll go again. The wait was not long at all, no one was ahead of me, the restuarant is Clean, there ar 2 tables if you'd like to sit and eat, the staff was very frienly and the food was ready pretty quick too. Tucked away in a shoppping center in college park, right next to the MOM's Organic Mkt on Rhode Island Ave, don't miss it, check it out, you'll be glad you went. Im going to try something new each time I go !

This food is palatable if you're drunk or hate your body. They're catering to America's obese tendencies. No care in the dishes. No culture shared.

Very much a grab-and-go place. Limited seating. Lunch specials are very affordable ($5.50) for a big portion. Food was about average. They have a wide selection of food. They deliver, minimum $11 order, fee $2. I only eat here so much because of convenience. General Tso - Would order again Sze chuan - Probably won't order again Kung pao - Won't order again Hunan - Would order again They have very affordable lunch specials with a variety of selection. *Edit Wouldn't order again: - Pork egg foo young (overcooked and just full of onions) - Curry chicken (bland) - Sweet and sour chicken (chicken dipped in thick batter and the sauce had a really fake pinkish red color. no veges at all) Would order again: - Hunan beef (the beef tastes better than the chicken) - Mongolian beef - Pepper steak with onions - Pork or beef with mixed vegetables (veges are baby corn, bamboo shoots, carrots, celery, broc mix)

Steak & Cheese subs here are the bomb, but they're not longer overstuffed like they were in the past.

Awful service. I ordered vegetable moo shu and instead of hoisin sauce they included mambo sauce. Ugghhh!! I tried calling twice to complain but no one answered.

I like to order from Eddie's often, love their crispy fried chicken wings they are very crispy and taste fresh, made when I order. I always order the mixed vegtables with beef, they never fail .. yummy food! Fast delivery, no hassel when I place my order on Grubhub.

Holy moly this place is good! A welcome addition to my favorite shopping center. At first I was annoyed at having yet another Chinese restaurant within walking distance, but the ingredients and flavors are top notch. As part of their grand opening they had 50% off everything (!!!!!). Yeah, so my household went to town. We collectively ordered (review): Shrimp and Scallop with Garlic Sauce - great Orange Chicken Dinner Special - great Beef on a stick - a little dry, but tasty General Tso's Chicken - great Curry Chicken with Onions - wasn't bad, but didnt float are boats Szechuan Beef - great Steak Cheese Eggroll - its like a steak and cheese sub, but rolled in a wanton and deep fried Pork Eggroll - very good We will definitely eat there again even if paying full price! But... would probably not buy enough food to feed a small village...

Eddie's Cafe saved me, like a hidden oasis in the middle of a desert! After missing dinner one night, I landed hungry and cranky at the Greenbelt Metro, to wait for a late night car ride. My ride called to say she would arrive fifteen minutes later than planned. First I felt abandoned in this strange location, so late at night. Then I thought, "Good. Now maybe I have time to get dinner." I looked around me. Only a vast, dark parking lot appeared. I checked Yelp. The area around me seemed nearly empty of any restaurant--and even emptier when I turned on the "open now" filter. Then I saw Eddie's Cafe. Chinese food sounded good. I called and ordered General Tso's Tofu, to pick up. I set out to walk to Eddie's Cafe. First I walked through a pretty, grassy area, on the other side of the Metro. The street lamps made the greenery look surreal in the dark. Next, I got to a dark, empty residential neighborhood. I started planning out what to do if I got mugged, since it seemed too empty for anyone to hear me scream. I eventually got to a forest. A forest at night, in a strange town, creeped me out. "Have I gone the wrong way?" I wondered, "Do I die here?" But then, through the forest, I saw it! A shopping center. I climbed through the dark forest, taking a short cut to eat as fast as possible. In the shopping center, only Eddie's Cafe had its lights on. I made a beeline for it. The lady at the counter had my food ready. I sat down to eat it on the curb outside the store. Some sweet little girls--maybe chidden of the restaurant owner or something--came by to say hi to me. And the food tasted DELICIOUS! Perfectly soft tofu on the side; crispy and chewy fried tofu skin on the outside; all covered with delicious, gooey, sweet, savory, and barely spicy General Tso's sauce. A few yummy pieces of broccoli decorated the take-out container. The white rice tasted perfect and comforting. Wonderful! I would definitely return.

3.5 Stars I like to order from Eddie's when I am not sure what I want to eat and I am not concerned about eating greasy, fried food :) Though, if you want to lighten things up, they do have modified options, as well. The staff is typically friendly and seem to have a rapport with many of the regulars who come in to order. I did have one incident, however, where I was told it would be $2 extra for some extras in my fried rice, but when I got to the restaurant they said it was $5 extra. We had a little back and forth, but I stood my ground and they gave it to me for the price I was told. The haven't had any rice that is THAT good to pay an extra $5 on top of the regular price! So, I would advise that if you are ordering from the website or the menu to confirm the prices. Other than that, the customer service has been average. My favorite dishes so far have been the teriyaki beef with steamed rice and the general tso's or plain fried chicken wings. I have not tried a lot of the dishes yet, but since I've had a decent experience so far, I plan to return and try out some different dishes. There's a MOM's organic next door, just in case you want to balance your meal out ;)

I have tried this place twice now and been disappointed both times. If you are looking for greasy, deep fat fried food you may like it but not for me. The moo goo gai pan(not fried) was very ordinary and overpriced, $9 for a takeout. If it would have been a lot of food I might have understood, but it was a small portion in comparison to other chinese restaurants in the area. First time I had the eggroll it tasted and looked as if it had been fried 2-3 times. ps On Sunday the lunch does not come with fried rice or eggroll. Considering my first visit and the fact I saw eggrolls sitting in the fryer already cooked I was ok with it.

I ordered delivery at my job. Shrimp Lo Mein and General Tso Chicken. Food was fast, hot and tasted delicious. Will definitely order from there again. I saw they had good reviews so I gave them a try and I'm glad I did. They left menus at my job as well. Thank you.

I'm a little surprised to see the 5 star reviews of this place. I work in the area and like many others was so excited for it to open after such a long preparation period. I decided to order chicken fried rice since, you know, it's kind of hard to mess up fried rice, right? Wrong. The rice was yellow, the chicken tasted boiled and was totally plain... and the only veggie included was a bunch of big pieces of onion. There were no seasonings used at all so the dish was totally bland. The egg rolls are good, albeit typical. The spring rolls are tiny and overpriced. My co workers get their subs a lot and from what I hear they are pretty big and not bad, but I have not experienced them for myself. In the future I will just stick to the egg rolls but I don't see myself eating there often unless I am starving.

Always a solid choice for cheap and quick Chinese American food. Sesame Chicken or general tso's always on point. Personal favorite has to be the pork with mixed vegetables (no mushrooms). The dinner specials are a fantastic deal. The special dinner specials include fried rice & an egg roll. One item I would NOT recommend is their chick & rice soup.

Hubby and I order from Eddie's regularly. They're delivery can be a bit lengthy however the food has always hit the spot! Our favs are the chicken and mixed vegetables, shrimp fried rice, shrimp egg roll, and cheese steak sub. The ladies there whip up some delicious dishes!

Great for what it is (Chinese take-out, delivery, or a quick sit-down utilizing one of their two tables). I've eaten in maybe 3 times, and delivery probably around 10. The place stands out in that all the veggies have always been fresh, and menu items don't seem overly processed/fried/etc. If you are looking for a more typical chain Chinese buffet with super greasy, oily, seasoned, and/or fried items that have been roasting under a heat lamp for a while this is not your place. That said not all dishes taste as good when they aren't super greasy, oily, seasoned and or fried... but you can't have everything. So while I like it, it's not always what you may be accustomed to. If you want something that sits in your stomach until next Tuesday or blows your mouth up you will be left wanting. If you are into crunchy veggies, natural flavor of the food coming through, fresh rice, and general tasty goodness, give this place a shot!

Their munchers are AMAZING-ly delicious. So surprised at how good the food was! Everybody who are with us enjoyed themselves, and we ordered a wide variety from the menu. Only 3 stars because it's nothing special, but good, fast (oddball menu) delivery food. Ive now eaten at Eddies a few more times and their Crab Rangoon, Broccoli with Garlic Sauce and other Chinese fare are all delicious!

it was okay i'm giving it 3 stars because the delivery and the interaction from the store however the food was tasteless. i don't msg and i know for sure there was none. no salt NOTHING. other than that it was okay.

First chinese delivery we've ordered since moving here from Colorado. It was pretty good and I think we'll stick with it. The sesame chicken was particularly good. I saw other reviews recommend the pork with vegetables so we got that. It was alright. The portions were all decent and each food item came with a box of rice.

I ordered one of the lunch specials (Shrimp Lo Mein). The quality was decent. It was cheap ($5.99 including tax), but so was the portion. The to-go container is smaller than usual, and it was 3/4 filled with rice and only a small portion of the main entree. Disappointing.

Consistent, affordable, delicious and convenient neighborhood fast food local restaurant. The owners are always very friendly. It's my to go Chinese place by Mom's grocery store. They are very fast in making the food too!

Upon a neighbor's recommendation we finally tried Eddie's Cafe. We have been looking for a local decent Chinese place. We've eaten at Seven Seas which is now gone to be replaced with a Korean BBQ. We've tried Yum's and was not impressed. Most recently we tried Shen Yang and should have walked out instead of ordering and again not impressed. The place was a mess as was the food. So on to Eddie's. I ordered Chicken Fried rice and Pork Egg roll. Both were very good and filling. Both were fresh and not greasy. Plenty of chicken. Will be having leftovers for dinner tomorrow. My spouse got Shrimp lo mein and Spring Rolls. Both were very good and enough for leftovers as well. The prices were affordable. Under $20 for everything. Service was quick and pleasant. Will definitely go back.

I used to order delivery from eddies cafe all the time. Their food USED to be good, I don't know what happened. They also got my order wrong twice in a row. Last time I ordered shrimp chow mein, and all i got was like 5 tiny shrimps with a BUNCH of onion. Like the whole dish was basically just cooked onion - do people actually eat that? The fried rice that came with it was also extremely salty to the point that it was inedible. The good thing about this place though is their fast delivery service.

the food was pretty good hot & filling. I got general tso chicken with the egg roll and rice. my girl got a sub. Nothing really stands out about this place but its nice to have another option in the neighborhood. they did accidently overcharge us for the two drinks and refunded the money once we pointed it out. I'd go back again.

It's good wings here. What can I say, it's a carryout. The wings come with mumbo sauce. But I am from NYC, we don't do mumbo sauce. Wings are all I get anymore.

Pretty decent spot. A bit pricey (depending on what you order), but all in all, i like it. They have their children there in the evenings, and the space is so small so don't even think about groups. Just order over the phone 15 minutes before, and you should be straight.

Excited at the prospect of trying out a new cafe in College Park I prepared myself with a day in the kitchen, purging myself of my anxieties whipping up a full pan of vegetable lasagna accompanied by meatballs. Kneading the ground beef my mind wandered to the smell of America. Blinking, I blocked my eye from the single bead of sweat that barreled down my forehead. Reaching for the Panko crumbs as the eggplants cooled out on the windowsill I noticed a small vehicle darting by on the street below. The dimly lit sign on top read grub hub. Curious, I wiped my hands of the water and picked up my phone. I wanted something dense. My gums needed a workout and my desire for lunch meat was satisfied by the sheets of turkey which I had sliced at the conference center. The king was old and the golden bends were over played. I chose by name recognition from my early teen years. Pulling in I noticed that the children ran the door and they allowed me to enter with no hesitation. I ducked in and noticed the staff was calmly yet diligently making magic happen. One of the child protectors made sure that I take a seat underneath the neon scan. A minute passed and I moved to the seat where the man before me had just moved from to pay for his order. Another child who was playing outside came in and ran behind the counter. He was wearing a baseball uniform and almost immediately afterwards my name was called. I payed and he escorted me to the door. The location was perfect and the classic sign was one of the most familiar in the mall. Ninety percent lean, choice chuck, patty flavored with tomato, iceburg lettuce, sautéed scallion with just the right amount of flat top love. My first time but definitely not my last.

This was the first Chinese place my husband and I tried since we moved to College Park and we don't have any plans to order from anywhere else. The food was amazing. We had the crab Rangoon, egg rolls, and pork and shrimp lo main. All cooked perfectly. Best Chinese place we have ever been too. Such a fresh and high quality taste.

Lousy food. Lousier service. My husband and I needed a place to eat before grocery shopping, and we thought we'd see if the food here had improved any. My husband got carryout from here once, and it was positively horrible. The food was a little better this time, but the service was horrible. For a 20% tip, the server could have at least walked from behind the counter and put our tray on our table. As I had to pay in advance, she knew that she was getting 20%. We got our food in the carryout containers, even though we'd said that we'd be eating in. No plates on the tray. The vegan orange chicken was crappy. The chow mein was a little better. Never again will I sacrifice decent tasting food for convenience. The lousy service was just the icing on the cake.

Based on only one viist, don't get me wrong. But that visit? Oh my god.... The food I received was lousy, too. And maybe because of their frequent promos, their ORIGINAL prices are higher than some other carryout place around the area. I have no interest to return to it, at all. But.... if... somehow.... I did return and found any improvement.... then I might revised my review.

Ordered took close to two hours to finally arrive, and it was wrong. Since it got here after they closed, they couldn't do anything. It was bad customer service, extremely slow, and very disappointed. I will not be reordering from them.

Never had a problem and was fine with going there ordering take-away at the counter. This was until yesterday evening when not only did the wheels came off, the car went over the cliff and exploded in a giant mushroom cloud. We varied for our usual order method at the counter and used Grub-hub to have it delivered. The order was to be delivered no latter than 7:10pm EST. At 7:20pm EST we called them and asked where our order was and was told it was on the way. By 7:30pm EST our order had yet to arrive and we called again and again was told it was on the way. Now our food was 20 minutes late. We then told them to cancel the order, since we knew we were not going to be seeing our order anytime this evening. We went back to Grub-Hub and told them what happen and they had no issue not charging our account (the charge had not gone through yet). At 7:47pm EST there was a knock and it was our canceled food order (we believe it was the manager with an all new cooked order). We told them nicely that we had already canceled the order and had moved on. She said to take the food and that it was free. We told her we would not accept the offer and she need to more on. We are currently look for a new take-a-way and feel confidant we will be happy with the next one.

We are staying at the Cherry Hill RV park and ordered delivery - which had never been done before. There was some confusion on the part of the delivery driver, but she was an extremely good sport about it. The food was plentiful and good. I don't recommend the fried dumplings but the sesame chicken and orange chicken were very good; also the rice, egg rolls and hot and sour soup.

I agree that the vegetables here usually taste much fresher and less over-cooked than at many Chinese carry-outs. I also think they have the best Singapore rice noodles in the area. They're spicy and you can really taste the curry!

The best fish and cheese sandwich ever. I've had so many things from Eddie's but this is the best. Hands down. Got mine with no onions though lol
