The bouncer pushes immigrants down to the ground. For what? Not tipping for delayed and shitty service. I asked female bartender 3 times for a drink and she ignored. The male bartender took my order; took his money and then threw me out. I left the bar. The bouncer and the bartender pushed me down to the ground. I hope they realize what they did. At least the bouncer was an immigrant. Good luck shady bar. First time & last time. Maybe one more time to show you your place. A shady place. I wouldn’t want to hamper any one’s business but you guys deserve it! I literally told the bouncer “I hope you know what you guys did; remember when and how you got here”. And I saw it. THE GUILT. ON HIS FACE. Tried out a new bar for a change. Literally found out change is not good. Please. Please. Please. If you are an immigrant fight against them. I am. I will.

It's a dive bar, deep dive, like from a board all the way in the stratosphere. Like that sky dive that guy took from the edge of space. Anyway, this isn't a bad thing. Lots of dive bars in town, and some are ok, you just need to be aware of where you are going, what the vibe is like, etc. I didn't know, so I wandered in. 1 pool table, but the people playing honor the system more or less. Four quarters gets you a game, but don't look for good space to stretch out and play, here you'll bump people as you angle a shot. They'll bump you. The karaoke across the room will either make you cringe or laugh. I did both. No smoking in the place. Saw a few people vaping. Girls with more tattoos than guys. Guys with more jewelry than girls. Lots of grunge, dinge, mange and dirty hairdos, which belonged to the men. The women looked clean by comparison. Very odd joint. Maybe college kids drift inside, maybe not. Judging by them not being able to read the lyrics off the monitors, anyone's guess goes. Music was loud. Place was packed to rafters. Old place but people looked happy. Some TV's, a u shaped bar and some tables. The prices were right about what one would expect for a bar, dive or not. Security was this guy outside patting people down old school style. Checking purses and bags. I didn't mind. The man was courteous. Smoke outside all you want, no drinks, not even a water cup allowed outside. Saw some deals go down in bathroom, what's new? Happens in most places. It didn't bother me per se, but it didn't shock me either. Almost to be expected. Overall the motley assortment of people of all ages seemed to get along. I can't say I had a bad time, just wasn't the place for me. Wouldn't go back personally, because it wasn't my element. If it sounds like yours, I say go for it.

Eddie’s Place really does offer something for everyone. With a wide variety of daily events, you will surely find something for you. Clean spaces and awesome bartenders. They take care of everyone, but really go beyond for their regulars by gifting them with a cake on their birthday! I’ve never seen that at any other bar I’ve frequented, so that really stood out to me. Kendall needs a place for the nightowls/industry folk that want to unwind without making a far trek north. Thankfully they are open until 5am everyday AND have working class prices to boot! Definitely recommend checking it out.

This place is already cheap and now there’s really stingy event runners ruining the face of this dope spot with some rapper mess online, and not sending refunds back and being neglectful to the paying audience. Just made this place worse.

As the ambassador for Ernie’s’ I’d like to say that Eddie’s ROCKS! The bartenders are attentive and the karaoke vibes are immaculate. We need more dive bars in Miami and if you don’t like dive bars then go look for a fancy bar elsewhere

Tried to get a refund but the show runner Primitivo is not doing that. Don’t ever come here. Sucks because my friends liked this place

Free pool on Sunday wow The place is awesome with an amazing ambience. I like the $ 1.50 juice and a free pool on Sunday as long as you play. One of the best bars I ever visited

I come here for the karaoke on Tuesday and Friday, both djs are awesome and got what you need. Eddies place have all kind of drinks and if you have a specific one just ask the bartender. The drink prices are some of the best :) there plenty of parking too! I come here frequent and I love the vibes. People of all ages come and have fun here

Nice little dive bar!!! My friend suggested this place that he goes to near his place. It's a small bar but they definitely decorated for Halloween. They only had one pool table but it was free. The drinks were a great price and they even had a jukebox. I honestly think I spent more on picking songs than the drinks we had. Overall we had a great time and we will be back again. Service was great as well. Bartenders were super nice.

Love this bar is grunge it's divey it's cheap and it's a GOOD time , stopped by on a Tuesday and it was karaoke night ! Great vibes

Stopped in one Friday night on our way home from a fancy steak dinner. My wife was not ready to go home. I pulled to Eddies hoping she would be put off by the dive bar vibe and want to go home sooner than later. We had an amazing evening filled with copious amounts of whiskey shots and some of the most entertaining Karaoke I've ever experienced. The drinks are comparatively inexpensive although the selection is somewhat limited. We didn't experience any of the negative attitudes mentioned in other reviews. In fact, the young lady who was serving us was quite friendly and quick to refresh our drinks. The cast of characters that were participating in the Karaoke were very entertaining. Especially, Lobster Boy. It takes a lot of courage to go up and sing, i never summoned up the courage to do it myself. Maybe next time. There will absolutely, definitely be a next time for us at Eddies Place...

A good, open till' 5 am spot nothing more, nothing less. Female bartender in unnecessarily aggressive, nosey and doing the most. She had a huge ego trip, and just takes it way too far when it came to keeping customers in line. She was acting more like a security guard or bathroom attendant making sure people weren't in the bathroom for too long. At one point accusing me of "rolling a blunt" because she saw tobacco on the floor. It was ridiculous, and she should really focus more on making drinks and staying behind the bar considering how busy it gets, and how swamped the rest of the bartenders are. My experience was truly the opposite of the laid back vibes I come here for. I've enjoyed coming here in the past, but I just don't appreciate the general hostility in the air here.

One of my favorite dive bars in Miami! Best entertainment you will get for FREE, just by people watching. Friday night karaoke is the best, such a vibe....The characters come after midnight; you are forewarned...This is where the real locals hang out. Rob & Corey are your typical a-hole bartenders, but try to understand the BS they put up with every shift they work; especially on a busy Friday night. I love them. Not everyone can tolerate my puteria & fxkery, but they do. Hospitality at its finest and I get it at a hole in the wall bar, in a shopping center, off 8st in West Kendall. Eddie is such a sweetheart too...PLP !

Fun night of karaoke and reasonable priced drinks. I thought I had teleported out of Miami and that is a good thing. Highly recommend for a different type of experience, go with a good crowd

Never in my life have I come to a bar like this. Came with a friend during happy hour (5-7pm buy one get one drink) and it was alright. Put some music on the juke box, played free pool and had a few cheap drinks. It was very empty, just a few others there when I was there. Unfortunately, the bathrooms smell horribly and aren't the cleanest. I did hear they have karaoke some nights and I am interested in going back for that one day.

An original Miami dive bar, went on a random weekday and ended up partaking in karaoke after some liquid courage! A Miami must in a strip mall west of the Turnpike.

There is NO better dive bar in Miami. I repeat, there is NO better dive bar in Miami than Eddie's place. I have been coming here for the last decade, and the fact that they have transformed to meet their guests' needs in every single way is honestly outmatched. This place GETS IT in a way that most bars just don't anymore. Your love and attention does not go unnoticed, thank you Eddie's for always being THAT place :)

This place is not for the faint hearted. This is a home in the wall dive bar with a dark and dingy inside. I honestly love that we have one of these in this area, but it was really dead on a Tuesday night. Bartender said it wasn't usually that slow. They are open till 5am EVERYDAY. The drinks are cheap! Two whiskeys on the rocks for 9.50. They have a pool table and juke box, which are the only tunes you'll get in this place. It kinda sucks they don't have a radio or any background music so if someone isn't playing something in the juke box, it is quiet AF, which was a little awkward.

The female bartender is a absolute nightmare! She's super mean and rude and doesn't care about her customers at all! Rob is a great bartender but the female bartender can get a new job that's for sure.

One of the best hole in the walls in Miami. Nothing else you can ask for when you're looking for a good time with some cool people. Bartenders are super friendly, especially Corey. & she makes a banging strawberry margarita!

I love Eddies. I love the bartenders, Corey, Rob, Melba, and Theresa and the bar back, Joe. The regulars have become good friends, the karaoke host Walt is a gem. The drinks and shots are dirt cheap. The vibe is constantly "come as you are, and come to have fun". I come here as often as every week to sing karaoke, but it never gets old. Everyone is friendly and happy. It's easy to come here and meet people who can hold a conversation and share laughs with. I'll be honest, I used to frequent WAY more expensive and far places (downtown, Brickell, etc) and haven't missed them for a moment since. Another favorite aspect of me for Eddies is that they have something fun every night. Poker on Mondays. Karaoke Tuesdays. Game night on Wednesdays. Thursdays are for Beer Pong. Friday is karaoke again, and this gets packed. I strongly recommend fridays! Saturday there is live music and Sunday is free billiards! The players range from absolute newbies to pretty decent players! Come ready to make friends and have a blast.

Great local dive bar; Manny bartender is very nice and the jukebox has the best music selections! Cheap drinks and cool atmosphere and to play some pool and darts but be ready to come out smelling like an ashtray lol

If they can fix the floor and invest on its "look," this place would be cool. It's look reminds me of the "Tavern" in the grove, before they fixed it up.

I know you might be shocked - "Elena, the wine lover, goes to dive bars?" Why yes, yes she does, because Elena would never turn away a vodka and club soda for $3.00. Thank you very much! I like dive bars. There is something to be said about establishments that have been around for 40 years when in Brickell, for example, a place closes every day. It says that alcoholics are loyal, if nothing else! My absolute favorite is Grady's in Fort Lauderdale but that is quite a drive for me so when I need my dive bar fix, this is where I go. Eddie's Place has been there for over 40 years. Then entire shopping all was built around it. I think Eddie himself may not be around anymore but who the heck knows. Things you need to know: 1. People are super friendly but you WILL NOT or rather, SHOULD NOT try to meet the man/woman of your dreams here. Just sayin.... 2. No credit cards - cash only! 3. Karaoke Night on the first Saturday of every month. This is good as you will ALWAYS sound like a star to the local drinkers that have been there since noon. 4. There are darts, a pool table, some "test your strength" kinda thing, and a super modern jukebox that has no business being there. Bring back the old kind for authenticity please! 5. Bathrooms are surprisingly clean. Cleaner than at many restaurants I've been to. 6. You will leave smelling like an ashtray and so will all your belongings so ladies, leave your expensive bags at home and invest in a huge bottle of Febreeze. 7. BAD NEWS: You may or may not develop lung cancer GOOD NEWS: The money you saved on drinks can go towards medical expenses. So if you want a good, cheap, stiff drink in a dark, smokey, friendly environment, stop by! If you want a South Beach crowd and Martinis that glow in the dark and cost $20 bucks, stay away.

Came in after a night of dinner and drinks on south beach.. just wanted to do one more round.. the place is a complete dive - but its close to the house and a nice little escape from all the pretentiousness.. lol The jukebox was steady pumping out Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, much to the "regulars" delights.. it was my first time so i cant honestly say they were regulars.. but they look like the kibnd of people that mightve been there for decades.. anyways, its good tohave a watering hole like this in my neighborhood and im sure i will be back

Searched for a late night bar and found the BEST spot. This place is exactly what we were looking for. And, oddly enough, found an overly friendly bar!! Rob is amazing and to find others that are kind is difficult. This bar is my new favorite. The staff is hands down the best I've found in this town. We are officially hooked.

Im glad that Eddie's is open during Covid. I'm really happy with the service and quality of drinks for the price. Will be coming back with my friends in the future. Good music and fun environment. (We went during karaoke night and plenty of other people were enjoying themselves.)

Started coming here after a friend recommended it and I was hooked. Great late night spot to get a drink from a long day at work or spending time with friends. They have a pool table, punching bag, dart boards, and a jukebox. The whole staff is friendly and the service is great! A true dive bar experience!

Eddie's place is an old dive bar with great people. Great atmosphere and cheap drinks. Karaoke is the 1 and 3 Saturday of the month. There are real dart boards and a pool table. A Jukebox to play you favorite music. Open till 5am

Not gonna lie this place scared me a little when my friend took me here (she's a regular) but as I started to meet everyone and seeing how the drinks are so cheap and it's open late this is a great spot.

Eddie's place is a true dive in every aspect. Bar counter padding shows great wear and tear with little effort to repair. Everything is cash only. Age mixture covers late 20s to elder clients. At 2am when I dropped in for the first time the bar was 45% full all ages. While no food ordered, I leave that option up to those who may drop in. This is the only option for after hours bars in this area (Tamiami to Kendall Drive, 117th ave to 152 ave SW & 8th St to 88th St.

eddies is the place you go when everything else closes. It's open late and drinks are cheap. You can smoke and there's a jukebox so music varies. I like coming here late after I get off of work... So if you are in the biz, it works.

This place really is a dive. In all the best possible ways. From the moment we sat at the bar, manny the bartender made us feel at home. If you are looking for a place to have a world famous mojito, this is NOT it. If you are looking for a place to have a beer, or 8, without breaking the bank, this is where you need to be. It's so terrible that it's great!

Great place to come to if you want to have a couple beers and hang out. Never packed which I like. The prices are fair as well.

I guess the type that hangs out here doesn't get on the computer much. 4 stars so maybe you'll be enticed to come see it for yourself.

I come here most every Wednesday for boys night out. It's an oasis for my regular life and a good time to hang with my boys. The drinks are inexpensive, they have darts and pool, and Cory, the bartender, is smoking hot. You're likely to run into someone who's fresh off the boat, been here for years, or came from the reservation. This place is the king of all dive bars!!!
