"If I need something quick or indulgent, I grab a pastry at this Swiss-style bakery and confectionary — think a chocolate-studded schoggiweggli bun with a decadent schmear of hazelnut cream." - Stasia Brewczynski
I have been here on a warm afternoon to try their pastries
Had a bunch of friends and tried peach turnover, eclair, spinach feta, lemon pastry.
All of them tasted good. They are all hand made.
The ambience and service are noteworthy.

I'm a pastry chef from Houston Tx and was vacationing in Idaho springs. When I happened into this unassuming bakery, I did not expect to enjoy the best éclair I've ever had. I also got a delicious blueberry swirl and regretted not getting more! Top notch, hope to return again.

We visited Edelweiss Pastry Shop and tried their apple strudel and raspberry cream turnover. The raspberry cream turnover was absolutely amazing! It was delightfully flaky, with a wonderful balance of flavors that truly stood out. Definitely the best turnover we've ever had! Highly recommended for pastry lovers seeking a memorable treat.

Okay here's the deal. I'm a bakery snob because I'm from NYC
This bakery is incredible
Their napoleon pastry is the best I've had and it's my favorite for 40+ years
The lemon or blueberry pastries are also to die for
When you to to Idaho Springs this is s must stop to take home

This place is sooo good. Excellent chocolate croissant....and the sausage pepperjack croissant is just the thing for munchies, pre/post hiking...or a hangover! Also they roast their own crunchy coated almonds. We rationed them as they were so good. We came back to stock up before heading out of town but they had just closed and our hearts were crushed. That sausage croissant is haunting my dreams and I hope to get one again someday.

A must stop when visiting Idaho Springs! Amazing eclairs and apple strudel. If you have to only pick one, go with the eclair! It's large and plenty to share even though it's named medium. Prices are great. They even make dog treats.

Cute little European bakery. Tried the apple turnover, definitely was worth the price. They are a mom and pop shop, and definitely excel in service. 5/5 would come again

i was excited to come here because i’m german, but i also have celiac. i wanted to just check out their options. when i asked about gluten free and how they took their precautions the worker was extremely rude and basically just shrugged me off and told me i shouldn’t eat here.
