Eden Hotel Bormio (Bormio, Alps / Dolomites) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel are the sort of designers whose names come as an instant recommendation, sight unseen. Not that Bormio, in the Alpine region of far-northern Lombardy, is a tough sell — but the Eden Hotel Bormio’s contemporary re-interpretation of the alpine-lodge idiom is nothing short of spectacular. The rooms and suites are modern but sacrifice no warmth, and the comforts are first-rate. Eden Restaurant by Chef Giovanni Caracciolo is a consciously Modernist-inspired fine-dining restaurant — Jackson Pollock is an acknowledged influence — and the hotel’s proximity to ski runs, hiking trails, and vineyards makes it a year-round destination." - Tablet Hotels

Eden Hotel | Best affordable ski hotels in Europe

"Elegant, hip and full of character – this is what makes the Eden Hotel so popular among regulars to Bormio. Housed in a striking wood, glass and stone building, the hotel was designed by a team of award-winning, Milan-based architects. Guests love the ginormous bedrooms, which swallow up ski clothes and kit. Esteemed Neapolitan chef Antonio Borruso is in charge of the food; breakfast is a smorgasbord of homemade breads, desserts and cheeses, while suppers consist of refined Alpine dishes served at Restaurant Umami. The hotel is in a prime location, in the historic hamlet of Bormio, 100m from the Bormio-2000 cable car. " - Nicola Iseard

Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception helped with some quite good cycling tips for the region. The room was very modern and spacious, very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing.

Our stay at the Eden Hotel in Bormio was amazing on every level. We had a standard room, which was huge and had a walk in closet, table, balcony overlooking the mountain and Nespresso machine. The bed was very comfortable. |Breakfast was delicious and healthy.|The staff went above and beyond. Special thanks to the lovely Manuel, who made it possible for us to check in early at 10am. |We will definitely return next year.

Delicious breakfasts with the option for special orders to ensure everything is freshly prepared. The room was of a very high standard, perfectly clean. The hotel staff were very friendly and always helpful. Underground parking is available for an additional fee but its normal in Italy. The stay was very enjoyable, and I will definitely return here. A hotel worth recommending!

This is arguably the finest hotel in Bormio, particularly for cyclists. It boasts a cyclist-friendly environment, a protein-rich breakfast menu, spacious rooms suitable for accommodating both bicycles and bike cases (with the option of basement storage and a small bike garage), and, most importantly, impeccably clean rooms that offer stunning views of the Italian Alps.

I stayed here for 1 night on the 14 Oct so it was generally a very quiet period but that didn't effect the standard of service which was impeccable. I used the hotel as base before cycling up the Stelvio, the Hotel genuinely looks after cyclists and understands the needs, it also has a secure bike store in the garage. The room was in a traditional alpine type theme but the bathroom was modern and very functional. Food and beverage were outstanding and the service was faultless, a great breakfast buffet! I would recommended this hotel unreservedly and look forward to staying again one day. Thank you.

One of the most flawless hotels I've stayed in. The room was comfortable and large and without odd quirks that so many hotels have. The breakfast was also one of the best quality hotel buffet breakfasts I've had. Fresh pastries, great quality meats and cheese, fresh squeezed juice, and range of dishes to order like crepes. Just really well done (except if you prefer lighter roasted coffee which Italians don't understand 😉) Parking is extra cost and the spaces feel tight given each space is hemmed in by structural concrete.

Modern hotel in Bormio, which is relatively easy to find just across the river. The underground car parking is interesting and be warned if you have a large vehicle as it's not the easiest to negotiate. Having said that there was plenty of available spaces when we stayed.||We had an upstairs room in the B block. It was a very good sized room with a decent bathroom, but weirdly had stairs up to the bedroom and a coffee machine positioned right at the top of the stairs. I used the coffee machine a couple of times and had to be careful not to fall down the stairs while using it. This was not a room for sleepwalkers!||Beds were comfortable, staff were friendly and location very close to the town centre. Breakfast was fantastic, and had more choice than I've seen elsewhere for some time.

Simply amazing experience!||Friendly staff, good location, good facilities, a-ma-zing breakfast….what else can I say? I can highly recommend the hotel to everybody! I had an amazing room with a fantastic view on the 3 floor. The balcony was overlooking mountains and partially the amazing mountains surrounding Bormio. I had the most amazing view standing in the shower even. So ask for the corner room on the 3rd, free tip!
