Albe G.
Yelp
I know this place is new, maybe only three or four months old. Extremely small menu, with very little choices, might be good for them( ( the owner chefs) but not appealing to customers. Portions are small, and very expensive. We ordered two items and asked for them to be sent out together, that did not happen, one came out and the second was almost 10 minutes after the first was eaten, how did this happen? We ordered the broccolini appetizer, very tasty but maybe the size of any other restaurants side dish, 17$ , just totally overpriced. And the famous Alabama sauce, that the waiter was raving about, was just over lemony mayo , nothing exciting. The entire of ravioli was served in a very small bowl, ( looked ridiculous) good quality and delicious but not even close to the size we were expecting. Five extremely small homemade ravioli that was at best an appetizer size, in an appetizer dish. Very disappointed. The drinks were a bit small but very fair priced. I think if someone is opening a new restaurant these days you should think about what would make a customer return or tell a friend, this place has nothing to offer. The waiter did a nice job, except for not getting both items out together as requested. He actually said they wanted to make sure the timing was perfect and would make sure, but that never happened. Parking is a problem, street parking is available but limited, the pay lot across the street was 17$ for two hours and 27$ for 4, no other option. I'm guessing they are going to find it is hard to survive and when they fail they won't know the real reason. I would be glad to give the new owners some helpful advice, ( which I am totally qualified too do) but I'm sure they aren't interested in. It's an out of the way place and I believe a lot more has to be done here to make a business out of this place. Send me a message and I will be glad to help, it would be to your advantage! If I were going to the show next door I would try another place , Savannah has plenty to offer. Good luck.
