"Chef Sébastien David, who has an impressive career to his name, conjures up appealing cuisine using top-notch ingredients: quality poultry from the Ferme de la Paumerais, brightly coloured farmhouse butter, fresh fish from Guilvinec, and plump, fleshy oysters from Paimpol. The balanced flavours in both the savoury dishes and the desserts come down to meticulous craftsmanship and expert cooking: chicken supreme with lardo di Colonnata, the leg roasted in a lovage broth; pear with white chocolate and pistachio fondant. A bright and harmoniously decorated interior with tables laid out around a lovely glass-roofed seating area." - Michelin Inspector

Normally I do not write negative reviews, I prefer to complement good hotels but on this occasion, I feel a little aggrieved.||||On the whole the hotel was clean and tidy, the individual toilets from the shower room was very cramped though to the point where you could hardly get into the toilet without standing on the pan. I can live with this though as the beds were comfortable and clean.||||What I disliked was breakfast. We were a group of 4 adults, we paid €16 per person for breakfast, and we received just one croissant each, scrambled eggs on a warmer plate, coffee and pots of yogurt. For this price you would expect warm food such as bacon or sausages. Nope, just a dish of scrambled egg which was there for at least an hour. If you wanted more than one croissant each there was no hope as there was nobody working in the kitchen or restaurant to ask. Over an hour and not a single member of staff in the restaurant appeared. You may think that we could make do with toas, yes that would be nice there was a toaster after all but alas no sliceable bread to put in it. We spied some through the window to the deserted kitchen all sealed up but would not be permitted to help ourselves. So, coffee, a singular croissant and a pot of yogurt for €16.||||Upon leaving the hotel, I mentioned to the receptionist that breakfast was poor as there was not much or a choice and quantities were meagre, she explained this was because the hotel only had 6 guests and that is the way it is. Now, why charge so much for so little? It wasn’t my fault the hotel was empty. There was no offer of discounting the breakfast we had or not charging us. Just a mention that it was the way it works.||||If this is how the hotel treats guests with distain I would suggest going elsewhere. The management need to take responsibility. I liked the hotel in general but would no go back with that sort of attitude and flippancy.||

The hotel looks very impressive from the outside and it nicely situated. We had booked parking at the hotel, but there is also parking in the square outside (apart from a couple of days a week when there is a market in the square. Everything about the hotel was a typical, city centre hotel. The room was nice and functional, the breakfast was good. There is a spa at the hotel, but when I have booked to stay, I don’t really expect to have to pay extra to use the facilities, so we didn’t.

We had 3 nights booked here in a deluxe apartment. We had to leave after the 1st night. A lot of my reviews refer to our son, who is disabled, and it is very evident that he is, which it makes it stranger why we would be placed in a 4th floor apartment (81 steps up and 81 steps down) with no elevator. My Apple Watch tracked that I climbed those steps 41 times in one day. It says on our booking that the room was wheelchair accessible, but I still haven't figured out how you get a wheelchair up to the 4th floor. The staff were really nice and tried to help but alas we had to move on.

Well run hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Very comfortable rooms. Very good breakfast. Restaurant serving delicious food at good value. Parking (paid for) is convenient. A very positive experience. The staff, comfortable rooms and lovely local food make this an excellent hotel for a trip to the Brittany area.

We liked this hotel. It is in an ideal location, with (paid) parking adjacent to the front entrance. The staff were helpful, breakfast was good and it has a pleasant ambience. ||We had booked a Junior Suite for our daughter and her two sons. This was in the main building, was accessed by a lift and had air conditioning. My wife and I had a second floor Deluxe Studio in an adjacent building which was spacious and well appointed. Unfortunately it had no lift (we are in our 70's) and no air conditioning which would have been helpful on a very warm night.

I stayed at this hotel between 26/09-01/10 in the 'Sidonie' room. The hotel was clean, the staff are very helpful and friendly, bed was (very) comfortable and the restaurant is first class and highly recommended whilst serving the best steak I ever tasted. It was somewhat perplexing however to find that there was no wardrobe or even drawers for storage of clothing in the room..nothing! On enquiring, the sole portmanteau available had already been given out to another guest for the same reason. A hotel with no storage facility for clothes of this standard and rating - come on! As a male travelling alone, I could just about endure living out of my suitcase for 5 nights but by the end of it, it had became quite tiresome and the room was resembling that of a teenager's bedroom with chairs doubling up as improvised places to hang clothes from. I doubt that many other travellers and females (especially) would be so understanding and accepting of this inexplicable omission however. For such a well run hotel, it is a stage omission which lacks understanding as to who in the management chain thinks this is acceptable or 'a good idea'? There is more than adequate space to put one or more units as well which compounds the matter. I would gladly stay there again, but I would need to ask for a room with somewhere to store my clothes (properly) if I did though.

It was very disappointing that when we paid our bill a mistake was made by you in your favour of 306 euros which, we were told, could not be rectified there and then because 'the manager' was not there.. We have spoken to our card company and no credit has gone through yet. Bearing in mind we pay a foreign exchange fee for every transaction it looks like we will be paying for your error. Everything else was fine.

A wonderful stay at this lovely hotel. My husband and son stayed here for a week. The owners/managers were so hospitable and welcoming. The location is perfect and they offer a great breakfast package. Definitely a hotel to return to in the future.
