"I’ve seen the Bromont beer-bar slash pub expand to Montreal with a large St-Denis space that channels the original’s 'chalet bar on steroids' vibe — it takes over the former Le Saint Moose spot, seats about 100 people and fits 200 standing (plus three terrasses), and plans live music on Thursdays with DJs likely making weekends raucous. The beer program is solid for this type of place, with microbrewery West Shefford on tap offering blanche, blonde, a stout and multiple IPAs. There’s also a long, fairly classic pub menu—multiple burgers, poutines, ample nachos and wings—and West Shefford-branded gourmet sausages and bar snacks like beer-battered pogos or a sausage on brioche with beer sauerkraut and dijonnaise.
