Visited during the week day. Visibility was low for a while due to the rain but it cleared up enough for the tour. The view is definitely breath taking non the less. Small groups of people were there and it can get crowded very quickly. Picture taking can be very coordinated. The staff were patient and friendly. The champagne was not bad at all. The overall experience was great. The night time view is definitely better with the whole city lit up. Cameras are allowed so I do suggest bringing one to take your own photos of the moment.

Nice place Views from the top were breath taking Good part is they don't ask you to leave after certain time. You can spend as much time as you want. In evening you can get good sunset view along with night lights of the city

The Edge is one of the most impressive observatories in New York—and for me, the best viewing spot in the city. The angled glass walls provide breathtaking, completely unobstructed views, making you feel like you're floating above Manhattan. There's also a small glass floor that gives you a thrilling look straight down, adding to the excitement. If you're up for a real adrenaline rush, there's an optional experience where you’re harnessed and suspended outside the building. It’s intense, but unforgettable! There are also snack bars where you can relax and take in the views. A few helpful tips: The Edge is included in the New York Pass, so if you’re planning to visit more attractions, the pass is a smart investment. I highly recommend visiting at sunset and staying until nightfall—the transition from golden hour to city lights is truly magical. Just keep in mind that sunset visits often come with an extra fee, even with a pass. Also, it can get extremely windy up there, so bring a jacket! Even with a reserved time slot, expect a bit of a wait—but it’s absolutely worth it. The Edge offers an unforgettable experience and a unique perspective of the New York skyline.

The Edge in New York City is absolutely incredible! The views are stunning, and the experience is one-of-a-kind. You can buy tickets for the activity where you hang above the Edge—it’s even higher than the main platform and truly a thrill for anyone seeking adventure! There’s also a clear glass floor where you can look straight down at the city. It was a little scary to step on at first, but once we built up the courage, it turned into an unforgettable moment. One of the best parts was being able to sit along the edge, take in the 360° views of the city, and enjoy a drink while soaking it all in. It was an amazing and memorable experience—highly recommend it!

I went here the last day of my trip in NYC and it was so so perfect. If you go to the restaurant and spend a certain amount, you get full access to the edge and the view. The fish I got was actually so good regardless of price. Perfectly moist and perfectly seasoned. If you get seated by the window, it is literally the best thing ever. Definitely recommend going here at some point in NYC.

Outstanding, once in a lifetime experience. Went on a Sunday (Palm Sunday to be precise). I don't know if we were lucky because of Palm Sunday or perhaps it's always quiet on a Sunday before noon, but we made it from purchase of tickets on 4th floor to the observation deck on 100th floor in probably less than 10 minutes... definitely less than 15. High speed elevator where the walls are actually screens that change as you're transported up/down. Views at observation deck are spectacular and unparalleled! Got birds-eye view photos of 1 World Trade/Freedom Tower looking south, Empire State Building and Chrysler Building in same shot looking sort of northeast, Verazzano Bridge, USS Intrepid, Statue of Liberty, GWB, even Whitestone and Throgs Neck way in distance. My very adventurous wife and daughter walked out on the glass floor observation deck and took pics looking down. Staff was so engaging and seemed genuinely happy to be there doing their jobs. There are lawn games on the indoor observation deck, and a bar and cafe. And a souvenir shop. They also had souvenir photo packages available on way out .

We really enjoyed our experience at The Edge, even though it was quite busy during our visit. The breathtaking views from over 1,100 feet up were absolutely worth it, and standing on the glass floor gave us a thrilling perspective of the city below. Despite the crowds, we were able to soak in the atmosphere and the unique feeling of leaning over the angled glass walls. It’s a must-do for anyone seeking a sky-high adventure in NYC.

The Edge is a spectacular modern building with breathtaking views. Upon entering, there's an impressive explanation about the sustainable design and construction of the building, which is very well presented and informative. The interior features several hallways with fascinating futuristic visuals. Even the elevator experience is enhanced with a brief but well-produced video showing how the surrounding area was developed. We visited at night after a light drizzle had just stopped, and the nighttime view was absolutely mind-blowing. The viewing area includes a special spot that truly justifies the name "The Edge" where you can take creative and stunning photos. One section also features a transparent floor where you can stand and look straight down—the vertigo is indescribable, but it's an incredible experience! This attraction, along with the Empire State Building and Top of the Rock, was one of the best experiences during our visit. It's definitely worth visiting, especially if you have the NYC Pass. My only regret was that we couldn't visit the bar because of a private event. Although there's a quick beverage station on the observation deck, it's not the same as sitting down at the actual bar. There are additional paid activities on the same floor, though they're quite expensive, like the new golf pool game. There's also an activity where you can climb higher with climbing equipment for amazing photo opportunities—this is for the brave-hearted and requires an extra fee.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

This was our last experience in the city. 100 floors high and the elevator gets up there in 52 seconds! It goes so fast it feels like you're flying. Edge is located on the 4th floor of Hudson Yards. It's a great experience and so worth it. They even have a glass floor area that you can stand on for a photo op. I'm so scared of heights so it took me some courage but I stood on it and even sat on it. Beautiful views of the city at all angles. Even of the Hudson River.

DO NOT GO!! TRY SUMMIT ONE INSTEAD. It gives Times Square on an inescapable rooftop or a claustrophobia horror movie. Our visit to The Edge was one of the worst tourist experiences I've had in New York City. We arrived just after sunset with what we thought were upgraded tickets -- "Flex" and "Priority" -- expecting a smoother experience. Instead, we were met with chaos from the start. The line to enter snaked through multiple levels of the mall and easily had 500+ people in it. There was little to no signage indicating where Flex or Priority ticket holders should go, and staff didn't seem to know either. We were bounced from line to line, herded through multiple bottlenecks, and eventually crammed shoulder-to-shoulder into a small elevator with about 15 other people. It probably took a total of 50 minutes to actually get to the top. Once we reached the top, the overcrowding only worsened. There was confusion over where to go and what we were even allowed to access. We mistakenly joined another massive line thinking it was for "The Climb," only to realize later it was the exit line. The deck itself was so overcrowded it was almost impossible to see anything. For a place that promises sweeping views, it delivered nothing but blocked sightlines and frustration. But the worst part was trying to leave. The line to get down wrapped around the building twice. I am not exaggerating when I say it looked like a two-hour wait -- and this was on the 100th floor. There were no clear directions, no updates from staff, and no crowd control. It felt disorganized, unsafe, and honestly, a bit scary. We eventually found our own way to a restaurant elevator upstairs, which we used to exit -- but it didn't feel right to leave behind hundreds of people stuck waiting. This entire experience was unacceptable. There were no warnings about the crowd size or wait times. For the price they charge, this felt not only like a waste of money but also a potential safety hazard. I wasn't alone in feeling this way -- many people around us expressed frustration, confusion, and concern. My suggestions to The Edge team: * Implement timed wristbands to manage crowd flow and create a system to limit how long guests can stay at the top. * Improve signage and communication, especially for Flex/Priority ticket holders. * Station more informed staff throughout the experience. * Most importantly, cap the number of visitors allowed at once for safety. Until changes are made, I can't in good conscience recommend The Edge to anyone. I'll be sharing my experience with friends and across social platforms so others can make an informed decision. You don't expect to feel unsafe at a premium NYC attraction -- but that's exactly how I felt.

We got tickets about a week in advance, using Wells Fargo affiliation (it gives you $10 off the standard ticket price). We arrived about 15 minutes before our designated time, and there was no problems to get in earlier. Quick ride on a very fast elevator for about 100 floors and you walk out into a huge space with floor to ceiling glass windows. If you want to stay inside and walk around admiring views you can, but you can also go outside onto the glass protected platform and admire the beautiful city views from the 104 floor. It is really fun to walk around, look at all the tiny objects on the ground, and take countless number of the photographs. We didn't visit cafe or a store so I can't speak to those, but the opportunity to enjoy birds view of the city and its surroundings was well worth it. Definitely recommended.

Great scene. The weather tried to freeze us out but we were resilient. The Marquee sky deck pop up was just as I expected.. Posh! The sections were going as high as 3800! Too rich for my blood lol .. However, the drinks were excellent. There were bartenders everywhere and at $30 a pop .. and they were very strong. Definitely not the best place to mingle without a group or a least a friend to enjoy the experience with. Definitely worth a redo in a day when the weather is better.

We decided to take a trip to Edge after 4 years, this time with couple of new family members who had not seen it before. Bought the tickets online to ensure we had a timeslot available on the day. The ticket prices vary depending on the day and time. Upon arriving at Hudson Yards, we followed the foot traffic to navigate ourselves to the elevator that takes everyone to Edge's entrance on 4th floor. I'd preferred to see some signs outside to make it easier for tourists to know exactly where they need to go. At the entrance there was no wait time. We scanned our tickets and walked all the way to the main elevator. I loved the futuristic visualizations of the walkway, that included some of the modern architecture and technology used in building Hudson Yards. The elevator took us to the 100th floor that has the indoor and outdoor observation decks. The outdoor one was very crowded. The view of the city all around was fantastic. I tell everyone that Edge has better view than most other observatories. Because of its location, midtown, downtown, East River, Queen's, Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty, Jersey City/North NJ, all are visible from here. I liked some of the improvements they did inside as well. The gift shop had better quality products. They added indoor games for visitors that are available for reservation and open play. We spent about an hour here. The outdoor deck was windy but it was clear skies, so we got some beautiful view of the city. I bought some magnets. Very high prices, $14 each. Once we were done, going back down was pretty quick process. There we retrieved our green screen group pictures. I was surprised to see they had an all digital download option only for $30. The package included some occasional backgrounds like Easter and Birthday. To sum it up, it's always a great experience to visit Edge, one of the best tourist sites of NYC in my opinion. I would like to see them integrate some occasional/seasonal decorations as well so that it appears little unique to local visitors like us.

Edge is an observatory in NYC that has huge outdoor space with glasses around. It also has an area you can see through to the streets (very scary for me). We purchased tickets online with designated arrival time. We arrived half hour early, they still let us in. You can purchase at the counter too. Check in process is very smooth. Security line is smooth. Then you will go through brief history and engineering information along the hall. And the end it's the high speed elevator to go up. The day we went, one corner of outside platform was blocked off. Could be it was too windy. Other than that I enjoyed NYC view. Very spacious. Lots places to walk around. Stairs of seats to relax if you want to hang out a little longer. Coffee shop and souvenir shop are always a big hit. Overall great experience in the Edge. If you have been to all other observatories, you should try this one too.

We purchase our tickets at the booth outside the Edge entrance. There was no line when we arrived, so we were escorted to the elevator and up in no time. There's a bar adjacent to the Edge entrance called Peak. Reservations are required. You can make a reservation on the 5th floor or online through their website. The Edge is a 100-story-high observation deck with a partial (small) glass floor, bar & 360-degree views of NYC. You can find other activities on their official website. Of course, it's extra for that. The glass floors were a popular attraction. It's a small area, so don't expect the entire floor to be glass. There was also a line to photograph the famous glass wall corner. Overall, the experience was nice. After visiting other skyscrapers, this felt underwhelming, but it was a cool experience.

The Edge is an observation deck about 100 floors up in Hudson Yards. I visited this past weekend, when I was in the City for a few days. You take escalators or the elevator up to the 4th floor of the Hudson Yards Mall. Then you walk through an area that explains the history, architecture, and design of Hudson Yards. I really appreciated this walk to the elevator. I learned that Hudson Yards is the first LEED Gold Neighborhood Development to be built in the City, that the development of the neighborhood created 6 acres of new public space, that it compacts its trash underground under the buildings, that it collects 10 million gallons of rainwater each year (which is used to water plants and trees), etc. All of this environmental design was a surprise to me - a good one! But I was, like everyone else, there for the elevator ride and the viewing platforms. So after learning about all this good that Hudson Yards is doing, I took the 52-second elevator ride up to the 101st floor (even that was cool - an animated video plays on the walls of the elevator). Then I arrived on the 101st floor, where you can take in the views from indoors (where there's also a small cafe and bar) or wander outside to the viewing platform. The views are pretty incredible. And the angled glass walls make you feel like nothing is separating you from those views. It's not inexpensive, and it's touristy. But it was also really cool to do once, just to see the city from this height and angle! Overall, a pretty cool experience to do on a trip to New York - I liked it as a break from my weekend of art art theater art art theater art art!

on the Edge I wish I had a better reason on why this review is so late. What can I say? I like to live on The Edge. Disclaimer: My visit to The Edge was in March 2024. Yup. It's late. I'll make to short and edgy. THE CUTTING EDGE This observation deck, which is open air (yes, exposed to the elements), is located at Hudson Yards. Tickets can be purchased online, OR on site; follow the signs as you enter the building. I opted to buy the tickets online. I paid around $107.00 for two tickets, taxes and fees included. EDGE OF TOMORROW Guests are able to chose a entry time when purchasing tickets. If buying tickets on site, there are multiple kiosks for guest use. THE EDGE OF GLORY The views are incredible!! Thankfully, the weather was cooperative as it was raining the day before our visit, and the weather forecast was for rain the following day. There is a glass floor that one can see all the way to ground level. Don't look down if you're afraid of heights. If one wants to take a picture at "the point" of the observation deck, please wait patiently in line. There's also stadium stole seating/steps where one can relax and appreciate the views. Lastly, there is a bar on the second floor, which can be accessed via a door at the top of the stairs ( or within the building). LIVIN' ON THE EDGE An Edgy visit. Enjoy the views!

The Edge was a highlight of my most recent trip to NYC. I've done many of the observation decks throughout the city, but this is definitely the best one in my opinion. Having an open air platform and a full glass wall gives an incredible view of the city from all different angles. I highly recommend going at night, there was no wait at all and it wasn't crowded, and seeing the city all lit up was beautiful.

Came here on a Sunday night with my husband and we had tickets, unfortunately due to the weather being very windy outside, we couldn't go outside which was not a problem for us since they offer a place for you to see the city views still. It offers a beautiful view of NYC, night time looks beautiful. Would try to go again when weather permits.

We ordered priority and came whenever we wanted and skipped the entire line - if you're ever thinking of visiting, I recommend purchasing priority access so you won't have to wait in the LONG line. They took you straight up, passing everyone. Well worth it. However it was still extremely packed there. Wanted to get a picture of the sunset but everyone was packed up like sardines. So no go for a good sunset pic. There is a restaurant on site - unfortunately they were booked for the night but we did get a drink, people watched and enjoyed the view a bit longer. Definitely an experience.

This was my first time at the edge. With a bit of snow I was a little worried that they would close the observatory, but was happy to find out that they kept it open. After checking in you're brought up the elevator which shows the architectural changes over the year in New York City. Once let out you can either walk directly to the observatory deck or walk around the lobby where they have small shops and a bar. We opted to check out the observatory before having a drink. The views of the city are absolutely breathtaking, they have an amazing views of the City and Hudson River. The observatory deck is 2 floors. You can walk up the stairs to the second smaller deck. I enjoyed a glass of Prosecco before heading up the stairs and it elevated my experience.

The Edge was the only observation deck/tower I got to visit while I was in New York so without any of the other 4 towers to compare it too I still enjoyed the overall experience. Inside the building once you get to the entry level they have kiosk outside where you can purchase your tickets and select the time you want to go up. They also have a website where you can purchase tickets on your phone and save money if there happens to be a special with promo codes. The line to get in is cool with lots of facts and visuals about the early days of New York City, the elevator ride up is pretty good as all 3 walls of the elevator display the formation of the city over the years. The outside deck is pretty cool with the Edge facing all of New York City, there's also a glass floor that you can stand on and an area with stadium still raised up seats so you can get a little higher view of the city. The funniest part of the tower is when you go back inside and you see the view of dirt hole New Jersey on the other side. It totally makes sense why the Edge only faces one way instead of being a 360° outside deck. The location of the Edge being in Hudson Yard worked out for visiting other site seeing spots since the Vessel is right across the street. If you get out here earlier enough you can check out both without waiting in any real long lines.

New York is well known for its iconic skyline and boasts no less than five observation decks to view it; each with its unique characteristics. The Edge at Hudson Yards is one of the newest observation experiences to join the party, and it does not disappoint. First tip: get online tickets, it's $2-3 cheaper than onsite tickets. It is located on the 100th floor of the 30 Hudson Yards building. It was opened in 2020 and instantly became a popular visitor attraction. High-speed elevator will take you up to the top in just 52 seconds. Once you reach the top, head outside to the outdoor skydeck. Suspended more than 1,100 feet in the air, the ledge juts out 80 feet from the side of the building. The most recognizable feature of The Edge is the outdoor part of the deck, a pointed landing. Otherwise known as the Eastern Point, The glass panels along the edges are angled outward, giving you the thrilling sense of leaning out over the city. PS: A long queue is always there to get a 'gram' pic. In the center of the sky deck is a glass floor, a completely see-through triangle floating 100 stories above the ground. You can look straight down to the city streets below. It has quickly become one of the top tourist destinations in the city. From the western side of Manhattan, you can see from Central Park down to the Statue of Liberty, and beyond. It shows off a panorama of the entire NYC skyline in one gaze. Fact: it has the highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere, and you'll get some amazing views of NYC. Fun Fact: I also attached one pic of the restroom, with a view of the Hudson River... sorry could not resist. Lol

We had a great experience at the edge! It was a super windy day up there, and the outside observatory had been closed, but thankfully we arrived just as they were reopening it. The views were amazing. Lots of great photo opportunities. There's a bar inside. This was one of our favorites in NYC.

Jermaine at the waffle station was a vibe! Love that the Edge is open kind of late (unlike many other places in NY surprisingly) -- this was our first stop off the plane after grabbing a quick slice. We got to see the city at night and it was so beautiful! There were several spots to take photos and take in the views. People were trying to have whole IG photo shoots up there so one of the workers had to step in to get things moving a little quicker. There were a few bars up there serving drinks, a live DJ, a gift shop and a little waffle stand. They were closing down but we still managed to get a bomb waffle with fresh fruit on top and had excellent service. Of course the place was spotless and very clean and tidy! One note, your ears may pop going up and down the elevators, but that didn't bother me much!

Not sure this place was worth it! We got the champagne package so it was okay, but maybe we would have been better off at a rooftop bar. I kind of expected more out of this place. We came in on a weekday night and the views were amazing but not sure it was worth all we paid for our party of 5. We were there no more than an hour. Maybe 30 min.

Edge at Hudson Yards is a building that features an 1,100-foot-tall outdoor observation deck known as "Edge". It's located on the 100th and 101st floors. Edge contains a outdoor terrace jutting 80 feet outward south of the building on the 100th floor. You have spectacular views of Manhattan and the Hudson River. The Edge is definitely an entertainment spot and tourist attraction. If you want views of the city this is the place to go. I enjoy views from my apartment building so I'm not interested in paying for my city views. I suggest you do like I did and check out the admission and activities at the Edge before you make plans to visit. If you are not afraid of heights I say GO FOR IT!

I live in New York but never actually visited the edge before. There was some family visiting from out of the country and they wanted to see The Edge so we went on a beautiful Saturday evening. We bought our tickets for 4:30pm but decided to enter around 5pm so we could enjoy the sunset and night lights. The tickets are pricey but the view is spectacular. You get a beautiful view of the skyline and of New Jersey. There was a long line to get a corner picture on the roof but it was worth the wait. They do have a bar that sell popcorn, soft drinks and alcoholic drinks as well. The cocktails range from $16-$23 so definitely pace yourself. I had their beautiful pink drink (I believe it was called the blossom) and was very refreshing and aesthetically pleasing. I also got their popcorn which was salty and buttery and delightful. Seeing the sunset from The Edge is heart stopping; all the city lights slowly start to turn on around the city, the sky changes colors to pink and orange and you can take fantastic photos with your family or with your date. They do have a restaurant on the 101 floor that I would like to try since you get a dinner and a view. Will definitely be returning with more family that visit.

Other than going to the Empire State Building years ago this was my first observatory in New York. I can't compare Edge to the other new observatories but I thought it was nice. Edge is easy to get to. The ride to the top could be fun but they pack the elevator full and since you couldn't move it wasn't enjoyable. The top wasn't as big as I was expecting but the views were amazing. About half of the floor is a store with some cute stuff but it would have been nice it the "bar" was an actual bar and not just a bar stand.

**Please note this experience was gifted to me. I don't know any of the pricing and had a more "vip" experience than the basic pass. The view at sunset was stellar. I also got to skip the line with the package I received & was given a glass of champagne at the very top which I got to keep!! This was my first time ever in NYC and this was such an unforgettable experience! I think coming post-New Years and Xmas made this more worth it as fewer people were on top, so I could take more personal photos with ease. Loved the Edge!

I have been up the Empire State Building a couple of times and Top of the Rock once on previous trips to New York City. They both have amazing views and have different perspectives of Manhattan from their observation decks. This was my first time visiting the Edge. Edge is the highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere. This observation deck is located on the 100th and 101st floors of the 30 Hudson Yards skyscraper in the Hudson Yards neighborhood. 30 Hudson Yards is the sixth-tallest building in New York City and the eighth-tallest in the United States. It is 1,270 feet tall and has 103 floors. Even though it can be a little pricey, going up to Edge was a really cool experience. Because it was my first time, I ended up buying the champagne and photo package to make it a fun overall experience. The Edge entrance is on Level 4 of The Shops and Restaurants at Hudson Yards. The wait to get to the top took awhile and was crowded. But once you arrive, the view is breathtaking. You get a 360-degree view of all of New York City. The entire platform is surrounded and protected by a high clear glass barricade. This makes for some great photos because your view is unobstructed by a fence or rails. I planned my visit to Edge before sundown so that I could watch the city lights come on. Edge is a pretty large observation deck and has space to move around unlike the Empire State Building. There is a glass triangle in the floor that you can stand on which looks straight down 100 stories to the street below. I personally get a little nervous standing on these, but did kneel down for a quick photo. There is a line to get your photograph at the edge of the platform (the Eastern Point) that I highly recommend waiting for. People like to lean into this triangular wedge and get their photo taken with the NYC skyline behind them. Edge includes a bar and an event space inside. The bar serves lite bites and cocktails that can be taken outside. Before you arrive, I recommend walking the High Line to Hudson Yards to get views of the Edge observation deck from the ground. As you get closer to the 30 Hudson Yards skyscraper, you can see all of the people moving around on the deck.

An iconic, New York, experience that of course can't be put into words with the incredible views from the top. It's the highest sky deck literally suspended in mid air (if you're scared of heights you're going to love this one) with 360 degree views. We're in the sky with the planes guys! From up here, pigeons can't poop on us so that's a good thing. Also, if you stand in the right spot, the wind blows at the perfect speed and you can get the right shot. I obviously didn't but I did see people getting their shot. Mine is always mouth open, eyes rolling, hair blowing the opposite way. Either way, the views here are breathtaking. Walking over the glass floor is pretty rad getting to look 100 stories down. Not for the faint of heart. Honestly, I'm more scared of the cockroaches in NYC than I ever will be of any height or looking through the floor. I would give the building, the view, the sunsets, the city 10 stars. I just wish this place wasn't as crowded so that you could really enjoy it and take it all in. That's what would make this a 5 star experience for me, less people, more moments. But that's just me =)

Nah nah nah. C'mon now. The Edge is kind of neat, but for $40, not even on par with some of the other lookout views in Manhattan. It looks just slightly lower than the Summit One, because you can see it when you look across the horizon. But it do isn't have any of the cool interactiveness like Summit. Ok, it does have something called cliff hanger when you are held by a cable and lean backwards, but it's not even over the edge of the building. It's over the rooftop that most people are standing. And there is a small glass floor which is cool to take some pics but that's about it. The attraction is probably 20 minutes of interest tops. Empire State and Rockefeller are just as good as this; possibly better.

The view from Edge never gets old ! Loving it every day even more.... I hope they bring back the flowers & the swing this spring ! We all ladies love that & definitely miss it !

We've always wanted to check out the Edge, because the view from outside looked so stunning. However, after we finally made our way up there, we're not very impressed. Especially after have been to all the other "sky high" view attractions in the vicinity. The entrance for the edge is inside the Shops. Definitely a fun and convenient location. The shops is an indoor mall, which also made access to the Edge very crowded. Be aware, line to get in to edge according your ticket time is across the walkway and loop around the center open space. Once the line started moving, moved pretty fast. Takes about 5-10 min to get to the top. Top of the edge has a large outside space for customers to walk around and enjoy the views. But the picture spots still need to wait for it. Inside is spacious and has drinks and snacks to purchase. With great view while you walk around inside. Like I said, it is a stunning place to visit, but nothing special compare to Submit 1 and other similar skyscrapers. If $$ permits, definitely good to visit. Do recommend by @winedinenvacay

Pretty horrible experience. Your reservation gets you in a 30 minute line. The top is packed so deep with people, you are only getting pictures if you are tall or push yourself in. Bathroom is impossible to find. There were literally no signs for the bathroom and it was down an unmarked hallway. Then the line to get down stairs was 45 minutes. Go to the Top of the Rock instead. The Edge is a waste of money and was a hellish experience.

Beautiful views of New York City is what I saw. Fun family moment we will never forget.

Outdoor ledge to see the city from a new vantage point. Got the sunset time and the view does not disappoint. The ride from the ground floor to the vista takes 52 seconds. There have bars set up in several places so you can easily grab a drink (alcohol and non alcoholic) as you soak in the views. They also have the cut out so you can see straight down on the platform. They have a seating area just to rest and take in the moment. Overall a positive, enjoyable, relaxing experience.

Very good experience, service, view and food (of course). I did the full pairing and it didn't disappoint.

You have many great options for viewing platforms in NYC. This is not one of them. All of these venues are inherently corporate. But this one somehow manages to be the most corporate-y of the corporate experiences. It's on a junk tower! On top of a mall! With chains you can find anywhere! Giving you a bad view through finger-smeared glass! Dumb. The only thing dumber than this venue is me, because when my son decided he wanted to come here, I didn't discourage him and redirect him somewhere else. Because he was *really excited about the deck.* (I should have let him go on believing it was a porch for some stupid rich person.) Tickets are north of $40, not including the hundred or so upsell opportunities they throw at you as you enter and then (attempt) to leave. Dumb.

A bit overpriced, but all in all a decent observation deck experience. Definitely a competitor to the old and rickety empire State Building. What makes this experience special is that you get to do part of it outdoors on a ledge like porch. This is also a great way to see both the World trade Center and the empire State Building all in one view. There are no shortage of high-rise buildings in New York from which to take pictures. I especially like the glass floor, but it's so dirty and fogged it's hard to really see through it clearly.

Delayed time , didn't take normal photos, 2 weeks have passed and we still haven't received our video! it should be ready in 2-3 days they told us ! I paid for the most expensive package to get all this !!! NOT Professional City Climb

I'm really confused why this is rated so low here on Yelp because it's one of my favorite views in all of Manhattan! You get a 360 view, from Manhattan, to Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, Bronx, Jersey City, Hoboken and more! There's also an outdoor deck area that you don't get at the other viewing areas. As a Manhattan resident, I have gone here over 10 times already using the Annual Pass. For $99, you have unlimited access to the Edge without needing a reservation. So I basically use it as my office on my writing days, a place to relax after going to the gym, or if I simply just want to read a book with a good view. The outdoor area gets a great view of the empire state building, so it's fantastic for photo-ops. The facilities are clean and the staff are friendly. They have different decorations based on the season. For example, in the spring, they have a small ice skating rink. In the fall, they had a floral display. There's also a restaurant where you'll most definitely need reservations.

Edge in New York City offers a great experience with its breathtaking views of Manhattan and beyond. The glass-floor observation deck adds a thrilling touch, while the open-air design allows for stunning, unobstructed panoramas. Modern architecture, friendly staff, and an overall seamless visit make it a must-see destination for tourists and locals alike. Perfect for photos and unforgettable moments! I'm glad we did this. It's worth our time and money.

High up adventure: a few months ago, I visited the CN Tower in Canada. Definitely a different experience, but I mention it to note that I like the opportunity to see a city from high up. I did not know what to expect so when we entered the 100th floor from the elevator, all I saw was a bar. However, turning the corner was NYC and Jersey at their finest - waterways and skyscrapers, greens spaces and busy streets, brights lights and even brighter skies - It seems accessible and far away at the same time. In about an hour we circled inside the floor, then made our way outside. If you can take it, there is a photo opt to stand on a glass bottom portion of the huge balcony. (Second adventure is to take "the CLIMB" to a higher area but this was not available today.) Won't spoil the rest...have to take it in yourself.

Had a great time at The Edge yesterday! First, I'd recommend buying tickets online to save time and money when checking in. Plus, once you buy the tickets, you'll get an email providing you with helpful instructions on how to get to there. It's located inside the Hudson Yards on the 4th floor. Checking in was a smooth process. They first scan your ticket, then you're directed to follow the line into the elevator. My time slot was for 11:00 and I got to the top by 11:15. If you purchased the online digital photo book, there are photo ops on the ground floor before you go up to the top. However, there are only photo ops on the ground floor, not when you get to the top. This was upsetting because I was hoping for more photos from their main attraction (the sky deck). Once you get to the top, you immediately see the incredible NYC/NJ views from the inside. Inside, it is spacious with a few tables and seats. On the outside balcony, you get incredible city views from different angles. Both inside and outside, there are food/beverage carts which are nice. Once you've decided you're finished with the exhibition, there's a souvenir store downstairs and a kiosk where you can claim your photos. To add on, the staff are very nice and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed this exhibition because of the fantastic views you get to enjoy of the city. One thing I was surprised about was the size of the outside balcony. I thought it would be bigger based on their website/online photos, but it was kind of small considering it was relatively quick to walk around. Nevertheless, I still had an amazing time and would definitely recommend this place for tourists and new yorkers to check out!

After visiting another tourist attraction in the Hudson Yards area, I decided to check out The Edge for the views on their open deck which is located on the 100th floor. I did not not pre-purchase the ticket since I didn't know what time I would be heading there. Plus, I figure t his time of the year, I won't have an issue getting a ticket. I can't understand during the busy season, I would recommend obtaining a ticket. While walking to the elevator, there are various photos and videos of the building being built. There was a short wait to get into the elevator. The ride to the observation desk was about a minute. Once I turned the corner and seeing the incredible New York skyline, I was in awww. Like other observation decks, I was able to walk around of the interior portion. From there, I decided to head outside. The views were incredible. There's even area where I was able to look down 100 floors due to the see through flooring. There's even an area where you can step up to another higher area. Just remember, it can be very breezy up there. Overall, another great observation deck to check out the incredible views of NYC.

Great time visiting the edge. I went in the evening time when the sun is not down to be able to enjoy the sunset. Although place had a lot of people it was good time. I got the tickets with champagne for adult to cheers withy my loves ones 21 and over for that. Great view of the New York skyline, the staff is friendly and area is super clean. The top is really windy so do recommend wearing anything that can fly away.

I had such a wonderful experience at this rooftop! I really wish I could have stayed longer. I'll definitely be back in the evening to enjoy the beautiful city lights!

We enjoyed lunch at Peak's Restaurant lounge in Hudson Yards on the 101st floor which also afforded us the opportunity to visit The Edge on the 100th floor of the same building without an additional charge. The Edge is a 100th floor observation deck on top of 20 Hudson Yards considered to be the "highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere", which opened to the public on March 11, 2020. From what I read, the Edge extends out about eighty feet, with 360-degree views of the city's skyline and yonder. There is a glass floor that they say is indestructible that one can view straight down to the street from the eighty-foot extended structure. Yes, jump up and down, it is solid. Well, so they say. The Edge is worth the visit, it is only fifty-two seconds on the elevator to view these spectacular sights. And yes, the elevator has its own surprises, one may want to close their eyes on the ride for those with motion issues. Just turn away from the elevator doors and watch the walls of the elevator transform into motion photographic images of the city. For all of you tourists, no worries, there is a souvenir shop where one can find some memories of your visit.

I came here because my partner's mom was visiting from out of town. As expected, it is a true tourist destination. We bought tickets in advance, but you can also get them when you arrive at the attraction, which is on the fourth floor of the Hudson Yards Shops mall. You have to buy tickets for a designated time slot and they won't let you in prior to that time. However, there is also a long line at the entrance. It's a bit confusing because an employee calls out the ticket times for folks to enter so it's unclear why the line is necessary. Once your tickets are checked, the wait to get up to the attraction is 45-60 minutes. The waiting line meanders through a well-designed exhibit that explains how Hudson Yards was built as a sustainable, green neighborhood with ample trees, energy conservation, rain water collection, etc. There are two elevators that take you up to the observation deck. There you can enjoy 360 degree views of the city as well as the Hudson River and New Jersey. The Edge itself is a small section, with an even smaller portion with a glass bottom floor. There was a fairly long line to take pictures at the furthest most point of the viewing deck. You can buy food and drinks while at the top as well. Overall, it's nice to visit because the NYC skyline is always gorgeous, but it's not a particularly unique experience.

We unsuccessfully tried to purchase tickets on line starting at $36 and going up for a flex visit, express papa, annual pass .... We would have preferred coming up at sun set but the double prices were sold out. The Edge is the highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere with 360-degree views of New York City. We spent about :90 here & walked along the triangular-shaped platform jutting almost 80 feet off the east & south sides of the 100th floor of the Hudson Yards giving us endless views. It is surrounded by frameless glass panels and looking downwards a 225 ft. glass floor. The Edge felt like an open-air plaza suspended in mid-air. The app didn't work well. There was one person selling tickets & he was very distracted. It was very confusing or we would have purchased them on line. Tickets available significantly higher in person. We walked through an exorbitantly priced gift shop before taking the elevator up to the top. On our way out we walked through the expensive gift shop again. Which are admission we were given a digital photograph taken when we arrived.

The biggest waste of money. Incredibly overpriced for a worse view compared to Empire State (ES). With ES you get 360 views of NYC, with Edge you get a small corner of NYC & then a nice view of New Jersey. If you are visiting and want an NYC view, go to Empire State much more worth it. Edge is just more high tech and conveniently located in Hudson Yards. And the glass that you look down in is a view of a roof, not worth. Even go to a bar for better views of NYC!

First time ever New York City. The worst spot we went to during our time here. Service was just abysmal and the price tag for it. Ridiculous. We waited almost an hour to just get to the top and once we got there not one person during the entire phase of our entry told us what we couldn't bring. I had my selfie stick out the ENTIRE time and no one said nothing. The moment I try use it take a picture I get ran up to and yelled at in front of everybody. Not only was it embarrassing but we were followed not even discreetly by security the rest of our time there. My girlfriend and I took a piggy back picture and of course when I do it I was scolded once again that both feet have to remain on the ground when a couple next to us JUST did the same pose. How did I know we were being followed? Security guard followed me upstairs. Waited for me to get off restroom. Then saw same guy when we were leaving and he made sure we left the area. Real classy. Stay away. You can get FREE skyline pics elsewhere or without a price tag or being berated.
