We came for the Blackhawk concert and wanted a place to stay nearby the concert venue. For that purpose, Edgewater delivered. All staff I interacted with were pleasant, friendly and helpful. The food options are abysmal and lack substance. Go across the river to the Arizona side and get yourself some better food, I found a lovely food truck myself. The rooms are a place to stay, nothing more. They are not particularly nice, just there for you to sleep, shower and shave. They do have a robot vacuuming the halls which was fun to mess with. Also the parking garage walk is odd, as you have to navigate a ramp with your luggage unless you drop off in the front.

Google
Venue where we saw a concert was great! However, hotel not so much. Even non smoking areas of casino were stinky. Beds were old and sagging. Overall needs a facelift for sure. Most of the staff were not very friendly. Seemed like we were bothering them when asking a question. Would definitely see concerts there again but would stay elsewhere. Disappointing. 😔

Google
Nasty, dirty, old and disgusting. Staff is pleasant and the casino floor is small and makes it easy to get around. Choice of restaurants is also wonderful. However, the room is like a Motel 6 on skid row. I ever booked in the Sedona tower which is advertised as newly remodeled.

Google
The covered parking is excellent. The price was great with no extra fees. The room was in need of renovation but otherwise clean and functional. Casino was clean but very Smokey. A good value. We ate at dennys and enjoyed the meals. We took the jet boat and it right in front of the hotel.

Google
I like this hotel the best on the strip in Laughlin Nevada. Do you vacuum the rooms cause the carpet was dirty last time I stayed? The restaurants are clean and the Denny's I'll have to eat at next time and try pts and caparottis!! Thanks for the stay see you soon!!

Google
Edgewater casino. We have nothing but a great experience here. We love the slot selection. There is a Dennys inside . We have had breakfast here many times. There are other restaurants. Staff and everyone has been friendly and helpful. They do have a pink box donuts. I recommend stopping in for that!

Google
My recent stay at the Edgewater Casino Resort was an absolute delight. This property consistently proves why it's a top choice for visitors to Laughlin, perfectly blending classic casino fun with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The location is, without a doubt, one of its biggest assets. Situated right on the Colorado River, you have direct access to the famous Laughlin Riverwalk. Stepping outside to take a stroll along the water, especially at sunset, is breathtaking. It’s the perfect way to break up a day of gaming or to simply enjoy the beautiful scenery. The convenience of being able to walk to neighboring casinos or just watch the riverboats glide by is unbeatable. What truly makes the Edgewater stand out, however, is its staff. From the moment we walked in, everyone we encountered was genuinely friendly and helpful. The front desk agents were efficient and welcoming, the cocktail servers were quick with a smile, and the dealers in the casino were engaging. It’s clear that the people working here take pride in creating a positive experience for their guests. A highlight of our trip was dinner at the Signature Steakhouse. Not only was the food excellent—perfectly cooked steaks and delicious sides—but the atmosphere was elevated by fantastic live music. It transformed a great meal into a memorable evening. There's something special about enjoying a top-notch dinner while listening to a talented musician; it added a layer of sophistication and fun that we truly appreciated.

Google
Nice place to stay. Very affordable (in comparison to Vegas). Loved the water taxi. Did the $25 day pass and rode up and down the river a bit. Great way to enjoy the day on the water for so cheap.

Yelp
A video review of my room at the Edgewater Casino in Laughlin NV. https://youtu.be/0IrN0iBDSlg?si=apsP-DtmP02LX3VG

Yelp
Beware - valet drivers very likely steal valuables from cars. Check in process is lengthy and complicated. Mostly due to the staff. Rooms are old and worn out. The bathroom was the worse part (extremely dirty). At check in valet services were used for our parking, unfortunately the next morning a laptop computer was stolen from our car. The car was had no signs of damage or any force entry. The only ones that had access to the keys were the valet drivers. The hotel took a "report" but wouldn't show us the camera footage and pretended like their "investigation" would be lengthy. Cops from Laughlin didn't do anything but take a report. Pretty much a bad experience overall.

Yelp
I stayed at Edgewater for two nights in September 2024. Do not waste your time reading all of the negative reviews. I had an excellent stay at Edgewater. I arrived on a Sunday. The casino was busy for all of the NFL games going on. Despite the busy crowd, my room was ready early and I found comfortable parking in the parking garage. The garage was very nice and I felt fine leaving my car there during my stay. My room was on the 17th floor of the larger tower. The room was very basic. The bed was king size and very comfortable. While it wasn't fancy, my room was clean and I felt good staying there. The floor was very quiet. I did pretty well in the casino playing slot machines. The rewards card at Edgewater is also accepted next door at Aquarius. I walked over in the middle of the night and won some money over there. I liked how clean the casino is. It doesn't smell like cigarettes very much. My only complaint about Edgewater is the lack of restaurants. A lot of the food places seemed to close early. I would have liked to have tried the Pink Box doughnuts or Capriotti's they hadn't been closed late at night. I'll probably stay here again. Edgewater is a fun place to party.
google avatar

Yelp
We spent a little time here playing video poker and grabbing a snack at pink box donuts. They need more video poker machines for sure. There seemed to be some good restaurants there too. You can walk the river walk to get here, which is nice.

Yelp
My mom and tia stayed in a non smoking room and got charged for smoking. THEY DONT EVEN SMOKE!!! Front desk kept saying it's a third party that they use to detect if ppl smoke in the room. $400 smoking fee! Absolute bullshit!! They weren't in the room at the time of the apparent smoking. And of course they couldnt do anything to help, so now we have to dispute and go thru more bullshit to get this fixed. Our family stays at Edgewater and Aquarius every summer. Never again. I don't even know if I want to stay at Aquarius anymore either.
google avatar

Yelp
I usually don't stay at the hotel on my Laughlin trip. I do visit Edgewater to gamble a little though. I like the slot machines in the Edgewater. The casino is clean and not too crowded. I also like eating at Capriotti. :)

Yelp
Came here for the weekend to see Air Supply and my best friend and I went in halfsies on our 2 Queen bed room. The beds were the BEST part of this room, as they were VERY comfy! Both of us slept great without fail. The internet works great in the room but NOT in the hallway that leads out to the Pavilion and pool areas. No reception whatsoever! Now, I have to say this place could REALLY use an update, a facelift, renovations, etc. It is VERY outdated! The wall sockets will not hold your phone charger cubes at all. We had to use the bathroom socket to charge anything! Speaking of the bathroom, the shower has very scalding hot water and I tried several times to cool my water down so I wouldn't get burned. The cold water gets ICE COLD! There's no happy medium! The air conditioner works great in the room so that is another plus! Now I loved seeing my favorite band play in the Pavilion tent. The ONLY problem was when it got super hot in there and we were all hot. I felt bad for our drummer because he was sweating to death under the lights! I don't recall air conditioning coming on either! Everyone here is very helpful & friendly. I do commend the staff here! They made my first time in Laughlin an enjoyable one. There is a Pinkbox Doughnuts shop here too. I didn't get any but my bestie did and said they were very good!

Yelp
My husbands parents and I love this place. We always do non smoking room. PSA. This hotel needs to be renovated yes it's very old. TVs are old , coffee machines in the rooms are old BUT beds have always been very comfortable & clean as well as the rooms. We've stayed here every summer for the past 3/4 years it's basic & comfortable. The hotel offers 24hr vale & the guys are super nice if you're nice to them. I really like this hotel because they used go have a Dunkin doughnuts but now it's pink box . Anyway I hope this review gives you a good understanding of what you're getting yourself into when you book here. OLD BUT CLEAN & COMFORTABLE.

Maureen S.

Yelp
I have been on the phone waiting to book a room for 40 minutes and still have not talked to anyone. For the last half hour it has been saying that I am next in line to speak to someone but why would that take over 30 minutes if you are next in line? It surely can't take 30+ minutes to book a room. What a mess.

Yelp
So we decided to drive up to Laughlin for the "Big Bingo" they advertised for Nov 23-24. My guy made reservations to stay at Edgewater, we drove up on the 22nd to spend a few days. We checked in and the room (14921) was sooooo outdated! The bed was slanting towards the head board, we had to check if any bodies were under there. The room had a "smell" more like mothballs kinda smell, old and dingy and my guy paid for the room. The windows had a lot of cobwebs outside with bugs peeking in.. I've stayed here plenty of times with comp'd rooms, and those rooms were a little better. This time paying for a room was just wrong. I asked my guy to lets go change the room, or go to another hotel, but you know guys.. They can basically sleep on a bed of nails and they're ok. The bathroom had nasty stains on the shower floor, I had to put a wash towel on the floor as to not step on it. The water pressure was good and water was hot. The clean up person was very nice and put extra towels and water bottles in the room, so they get a plus for that service. Anyways, we went to sign up for the $200. buy in for the bingo and they said it was sold out 2 weeks before. Now why didn't they say that. Needless to say, we gambled there then went to another few places to gamble. Oh, we went to dinner down stairs at the steak house. Can't remember the name but its right by the bingo area, the staff were good, food.. NOT so much!! Hopefully they get it together and spend a little money to upgrade the place.

Yelp
This trip we were given exceptional customer service from Vicky (who we saw and spoke with twice) and Danny M. who actually gave us comedy show tickets. These two know how to make people feel welcome and taken care of at the Edgewater Casino. Vicky is a delight. So knowledgeable and helpful. Danny M was the kindest person- giving my husband and I tickets to a comedy show- which was really fun! Thank you for a great experience!!!

Yelp
Nasty ass room never again. EVERYTHING IS DUSTY AND OLD. Dont walk on the carpet for your own safety. The remote for the tv was broken. Carpet nasty Gaming room smells like 1990 febreeze

Yelp
I would compare this place to Circus Circus in Las Vegas. The casino floor has a typical feel, however the rooms not so much. They are outdated and smelly, with old carpets in the hallways. Our room was dusty, and had a wierd musty smell. Our shower had leftover hairs from the previous guest. And there's no way I would use that coffee maker in the bathroom. Our room had a nice view of the river. We also paid an extra $11.50 to check in a few hours earlier. I concur w/ those negative reviews, as this is exactly what we expected, as this place is not worth the price. The only pro: it's on the river walk. For a bit more, you can stay next door at their sister hotel, Aquarius which is lil more up-to-date and cleaner. The elevators in the hotel & parking garage are old & loud; you can hear the pulleys grind & squeak! So if you're freaked out by that, beware! FOOD TIPS: 4 places to eat: PTs, Capriottis, Dennys, and the steak house. I believe Pinkbox Donuts will open soon. PARKING: Parking is free, however the garage is separate from the casino which is a lil walk, but challenging when its super hot outside. FYI, the PTs & Capriottis are actually exposed to the smoked-filled casino floor. Dennys & the steak house are downstairs. For cheaper eats, I suggest next door at the Aquarius Hotel: there's a 24 Hr McDonald's, Subway, Outback, & a coffee shop. BOTTOMLINE: Laughlin is a nice lil town to get away and be on the river. We only came for a concert held here. I would not come back unless they improve.

Yelp
what a POS hotel it's nasty and the customer service is nastier I was denied access twice to my room because the POS card readers decide to stop working randomly and then you have to go all the way back down and stand in line and go through Bs!!! Literally never coming back

Yelp
We decided to try a new casino and instead of driving out and leaving after gambling we booked a room for the night. Mistake BIG Mistake! Pros and cons. PROS: Great casino, machines paid out most spins and we came out ahead. Now the CONS: We checked in and the woman at the desk insisted my name was incorrect on my reservation (it was correct) and it took forever to get checked in. As she said, she acted like the issue was because I booked through a third party. I booked through Expedia as I do with all reservations and have never had an issue anywhere else. STRIKE 1 We walked into the room and the carpet was so dirty it looked like it had never been cleaned the bed looked like someone slept on top of the bedspread but it wasn't cleaned afterward. STRIKE 2 But this was the biggie We checked out by dropping our keys in the box as instructed and left to head to our next destination. As we were on the road I checked to see if they closed our portfolio and I was shocked to find an extra charge of $250 on our bill. I immediately called the hotel and was told the reason we were charged was because some machine that was in the room said we smoked in the room. Ironic, because not only have neither one of us ever smoked but no one we are friends with does either. When I told the desk clerk this she said once the machine says you are a smoker they can't remove the charge. She claimed it went through corporate and they couldn't remove the charge. There was no way we were going to pay more money especially because it was not true. We turned around and drove back to the hotel and when we got there the manager had gone to the room and checked and the hotel cleaning person told him our room had not been smoked in. The charge was removed but only after we drove back to prove we didn't smoke in the room especially since we requested a non-smoking room. So we wasted our time and gas driving back when this could have been taken care of at the hotel instead of being told a lie that they couldn't refund the bogus charge. STRIKE 3 When the manager did apologize I felt he was insincere and only did so because he knew they were in the wrong and couldn't get away with the extra charge. So in the future when we want to go to a casino we might gamble at Edgewater Hotel but we would never stay there again. Lesson learned always check out at the desk before leaving land look at your charges so you can dispute any extra charges right then and there.

Yelp
Clean property on the Riverwalk so you can walk down to Riverside Casino. We go here for the Bingo. Nice Bingo room with friendly attendants and good games. Hit a Royal on Vid Poker between Bingo sessions so...bonus! Servers come around often but no Patron so just had water...all good...they are affiliated with Arizona Chucks in LAS.

Yelp
Cashier not very professional. Otherwise people friendly. Don't forget to put the " do not disturb " at the door or the housekeeping will enter in your room before 9:00 am. The bathroom was dirty with trace of blood on the wall, dirt on the shower and tissues not accessible. The bed had very old cover with hole. The rest of the room was clean

Yelp
They put the worst slowest people on the night shift. A woman manager told me I could not register under the internet rates for my casino account displayed on my phone. I registered on my phone. It showed $18 per night. The internet site failed. But when I showed the price on my phone the front desk said it was invalid and that I must talk to the players club the next day. The woman was nasty. They do not honor your rates if you are not the right skin color. They are very kind of you are light in skin color.

Elsa D.

Yelp
The worst experience we have had! The hotel is old, dirty and smells horrible. The carpet is filthy and the staff is not very friendly ! We used the valet and some of our valuables disappeared overnight Do not get fooled by the pictures, this hotel is nothing like it seems online!

Yelp
My husband picked this location for our concert weekend getaway. My first impression was that it didn't smell like a musty casino. It actually smelled really good. Our check-in was quick and easy, and everyone was very nice and helpful, especially Roxy at the ticket booth. That lady helped a lot of us out with printing out our concert tickets and informing us about the shuttle service to and from our venue. The rooms here at the Edgewater are lacking in decor. One thing was very noticeable was that the room didn't get a deep cleaning, just a quick wipe down. The rooms are spacious enough, but they are so dim and outdated. The furnishings are about 20 years old and they look it. Our room had only one lamp that sat on the nightstand. There are no refrigerators in the rooms, so you can't keep any cold beverages or leftovers with you. There are not enough electrical outlets. We had to find the power strip behind the bed to charge our phones. They do offer you a mini coffee maker, ironing board, extra pillows, and I was pleased to see that there was a Bible in the drawer of the nightstand. So the Edgewater did have some perks. I liked the fact that it wasn't huge to where you had to walk miles to get to the other end. The Edgewater offered a lot of great dining locations, they even have a Denny's downstairs and a Pinkbox doughnuts that are a must. Cappriotti's sandwiches were delicious, one of the bartenders who worked at the bar near the Sports Book made one of the best Red Beer mixes I've ever tasted, he made them so good that I enjoyed three of them. The Edgewater offered us enough enemies that we really didn't have to venture out for much other than a walk down the river front for some fresh air. The Edgewater offers scooter rentals at a decent price for those who need some assistance. The only downside to staying at the Edgewater is the outdated decor of the rooms, and it's not just my opinion. A few other guests shared their opinion with me. The Edgewater could also use a good pressure washing and window cleaning. Other than those few things, we had a wonderful stay. The entire staff at the Edgewater was friendly from the valets, desk clerks, and housekeeping staff. So if any of the Edgewaters management sees my review please put some energy into giving the Edgewater some TLC and updating the rooms, the Edgewater deserves it and so do your guest.

Yelp
Totally understand older hotels need upkeep... not acceptable at over $200 for one night. 1-cracked toilet seat - unsanitary 2-bathtub black age stains 3-water drainage in tub does not allow you to shower without standing in water (left without showering) 2-sinking bed mattress - horrible night sleep 3-upper inside room security lock broke (we put chair at door)

Hortencia O.

Yelp
If there was a zero star I will pick that. Rooms are horrible, found bed bugs the first room and they change us to another room with no apologies, rather they make us feel bad and had security follow us at 2am to go down to check in for the new room. When I called to report the lady that answered said Oh my god before hanging up so I could hear her.... Also we forgot a charger called back security because we are local and security said that they were busy and ask for me to call back at a later time.

You need to pipe in music that is amenable to all at the pool vs letting different ethnicities play LOUDLY their music

Yelp
Staying at The Edgewater Resort Casino to attend a concert at The Edge Pavilion. This resort is a bit antiquated and definitely in need of some TLC. It is obvious the resort needs to invest in more housekeeping, and maintenance workers for better upkeep of basic room essentials. * Bar sink & coffee maker in room is nice - not replacing the used coffee amenities not so good. * Room refrigeration and drink vending machines ($3/20 fl oz)- available but not cooling properly. Come on #PepsiCo!! * Missing room clock, no biggie - but would be nice to have better accessible electrical or USB plug ports. * Individual room safe not provided, available only at casino cashier. * H2O bath hospitality products supplied. (Unfortunately, H2O+ company has just retired in 2022 after 33 years in business). I understand the post pandemic hiring pool is limited with less willing to productive outside of home. Taking that in consideration, the Edge saving grace its river view location and resort staff who have actually returned to work. Be kind and tip when good service is received. Review based on stay of June 23-25, 2023

Renae N.

Yelp
Check in was easy and friendly! That's where the good ends! The casino floor, hallways and elevators are filthy! Then we arrived at our room. The bathroom is dirty and the shower is the worst! I had holes in my bedding and and everything is dusty! The remote was visually broken which means they don't even wipe the side table or remote down. They don't offer daily services so we had to request shower towels. Not friendly at all when you ask. I will say the person who delivered the towels and remote was very friendly! I could go on and on but I think this is enough! I have attached a few pictures!

Yelp
I recently had the misfortune of staying at the Edgewater Hotel, and I feel compelled to share my experience to warn potential future guests. Upon entering my room, I was immediately struck by the lack of cleanliness. The bathroom was in a particularly sorry state, with grime and dirt visible on the shower and mirror. It was clear that the room had not been properly cleaned for some time, which was not only unappealing but also raised serious concerns about hygiene. However, the most distressing part of my stay was the discovery of bed bugs. I woke up after my second night with bed bug bites! Dealing with a bed bug infestation is not something any hotel guest should have to face. In conclusion, my stay at the Edgewater Hotel was a disappointing experience. The lack of cleanliness and the issue with bed bugs significantly impacted my comfort and enjoyment. I would strongly advise potential guests to consider other options before choosing to stay at this hotel. Stay at the Aquarius, it's a 100% better hotel.

Yelp
1st time at the Edgewater, beyond disappointed, 1st of all the room was dirty, no microwave or mini fridge, carpet looked not vacuumed, lint all over the place! Windows mirrors were very dirty. Also, the shower metal is rusted There are rust stains in the toilets looks to be dirty. Their pillows are lumpy like they're very old, the furniture is broken. Also, this is a non-smoking room, and it smelled like smoke and just a foul odor when we just got in The room. Then we called on our 3 rd day to get house keeping while we be gone all day, we got back only to find out that house keeping had not cleaned room , we called house keeping and they informed us that since we are a stay over they don't need to clean room till after 4 pm, that was NEVER relayed to us when we called in the morning , they flagged our room as do no disturb without notification, it's ridiculous, very disgusting, desk staff made it sound like we should know the edge water policies and like it's our fault. !!! , if I could give a -5 I sure would!!!'

Yelp
I will never stay here again!!! (STRIKE 1) I should've known as soon as I drove up to the hotel. Im waiting my turn to park my truck when the valet guy speeds by me, in someone elses car & parks the vehicle right in front of me, he blocks me in, im like really he just did that? Because he blocked me I had to back myself out and re-park.that punk ass kid! ? (STRIKE 2) yes they have complimentary valet but after seeing the way they drive your car, I don't think so! So I opt for self parking omg the elevator sounds like it's going to die any minute, scary n filthy. (STRIKE 3) I stand in line to register and I realize I've forgotten my ID in the car, yes I understand they need to see my ID but wholly shit the guy tells me you'll have to get your ID before I can help you. I return back with my ID the customer service guy you'll have to stand back in line

Happy J B.

Yelp
This place is nasty! The Rooms are so outdated not to mention we asked for a fridge they brought one up that look like it had literally been tossed out of a Window , no microwave and housekeeping does a horrible job cleaning There were littke black bug in the 2nd bed and lets not Forget they said that I smoked in the room which I do not smoke and try to charge me extra for it. Way rude staff as well.

Jamie J.

Yelp
Do not stay Worst hotel ever. everything is very dirty, dust on everything at least half inc thick, hair all over the bathroom. Elevators make it feel like your going to fall to your death. Or many places to find food. House keeper walks into your room at 730 in the morning without knocking. When you put a complaint in they tell you it's there job. They lie saying their the manger when you ask to speak to one, even though they are not. Hung up on me when I tried to get gm name or phone number. Highly suggest another hotel.

Yelp
I mean, it's an old ass casino.... but it's where I win the most! My review is 100% for the casino only. Haven't stayed in the hotel for over 30 years. But the casino is my jam lately. Super friendly floor staff, fun little sports bar, and if you are into the penny machines, they've got a ton! I play 25 cent video poker until I get warmed up then if I feel lucky I move to the dollar video poker machines. This is the one casino that keeps me playing for a few hours without getting discouraged. There's a large variety of play, however I do wish there were more "old fashioned" 2 max bet slot machines. I don't play slots often, but when I do I want a machine that I can understand. I'm old school when it comes to slots, I guess. Every time I've cashed out at the Edgewater, the cashiers have been so friendly and excited for me. I'm not a big spender, but they still root for the little guy apparently. Food places smell amazing too... I've yet to try them, but if they can lure me in by smell alone, can't be all that bad right? Live bands have sounded great from outside the lounges, plus the piped music throughout the casino has always been some upbeat fun, sing-along kind. I mean, for this old timer anyway. I was a teen in the 80's, that says it all. Nothing bad to say about it. It's old, it does the trick for my little gambling pleasure. Thank you!

Yelp
This was my first time staying here at the edge water. I have stayed at the riverside, Aquarius, harrahs, and Tropicana. Out of all the rooms that I have stayed in this would probably be at the bottom. The room was loud, the carpet was worn out. The hotel at this point does not have a place to grab a coffee in the morning because Duncan doughnuts is no longer there. I booked this stay last minute but would probably stay away from staying here in the future. Laughlin is one of my favorite vacation spots for weekend trips but this place along with the other casinos could use a refresh.

R T.

Yelp
Waiting in the parking lot for my friend in the casino. I had just spent a couple hundred dollars myself, prior. A person in a yellow shirt beat on my window and said I could not loiter I complained I was not loitering, I was waiting for my friend, who ironically spent several hundred dollars, also. Very soon, another yellow shirted person showed up. I asked to speak to their supervisor, several times. They made various veiled threats. At about the same time, my friend came out and a person showed up dressed in military gear. He even had big knife strapped to his chest. He was extremely threatening. I asked to speak to his supervisor and he threatened to call the police. What a way to treat customers!! Don't go to the Edgewater!! It is not worth it!!

Yelp
Place is a dump. Casino is one big ashtray smell. Room was horrible. The smell in the room was terrible. Went to a grocery store to buy air freshener's. .

Yelp
We stayed at the Edgewater for two nights and I don't have much to complain about the room and bathroom were clean, beds comfy, and staff was friendly except for the guy who brought our luggage to the room. The shower is a little slippery so be careful and the walls are thin. We heard the room next to us all weekend. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

Yelp
So we booked here because of the decent price when we needed a last minute booking. The hotel itself is okay but could use A TON of love when it comes to cleanliness. When we walked into the hallway to get to the elevators you notice how dirty it is right away. The elevators were filthy. If personnel got on their maintenance/cleaning crew this hotel would be good for the price. It's literally the little things that would make a difference. I am not sure why they don't have a cleaning crew doing runs every hour or two but if they did their focus should be the flooring being vacuumed and the elevators being swept at the very minimum. The casino was good the servers are very attentive and machines are good. They were hitting every hour or so we had numerous people around us winning big money. The room was decent but nothing like the pictures online. Anytime I check into a hotel and get to my room I strip the bedding to make sure there aren't any dirty sheets or bed bugs. The bedding was pretty clean other than a lot of stains on pillow cases and towels. I had to ask for new towels because each towel in my room was dirty with stains and had leftover I don't know what on them. My new towels were clean thankfully. The rooms do not have central AC so just a FYI. The AC is a unit in the wall similar to what a motel 6 would have. And the air only blows out of one side of the unit. We called the front desk and they sent maintenance to our room only to be told that the AC unit is made that way. We were told it is made to blow only on the side closest to the headboard I don't believe this because my compa is a HVAC Tech and he came to our room to check it out and told us there's no way a manufacturer would actually make something that only half worked lol. Pretty wild but the unit did cool our room down so that was good. The room had a ton of dust EVERYWHERE because of how dirty/how much build up the AC unit had in it. You could see the dust bunnies in the units vents. The dust traveled to the lamps and bedding it was a simple thing that should have been done to avoid this from happening. (VACUUM THE AC UNIT VENTS) The bathroom was pretty beaten up. The shower floor was super dirty I got grossed out so I showered with sandals on during our stay. I will post pic's here for all to get an idea of the experience in all rooms. We had three families with us in different rooms and they experienced similar issues.

Yelp
This place is honestly not that bad at all! It's not a five star hotel but it'll do .. rooms go for 25-45$ on weekdays .. and you have river view ... they just recently opened up and donut shop in the lobby and it brightens up this place! I won on some slots so can't complain . I'll come back here again.. rooms were pretty decent and comfortable. Better then motel 6 for sure and cheaper

Yelp
No way! Never again. Super old, carpet ripped up, dirty stained tub, stain sink. We paid 510.00 for 3 night, I couldn't wait to leave! I couldn't even walk barefooted in my room. I had to put a towel in the shower. It was disgusting. It wasn't worth the price at all! I asked for room service, and they only brought me clean towels and toilet paper. I was so mad. People I don't recommend. Honestly I was afraid of bringing back something from the nasty room.

Yelp
It seems the hotels in Laughlin are all going downhill in standards, cleanliness, etc. My first time staying at the Edgewater Hotel and Casino was for a concert. Enjoyable concert. Ate at the steakhouse on site, was very good, a bit pricy but that's to be expected anymore. The reason for the two stars is the room. After I checked in, I thought I would watch a bit of TV. Didn't work. Called housekeeping and they fixed it, at least I thought they did. It wouldn't shut off. I played with the very cheap feeling remote and it finally shut off. Before my concert that evening, I thought i would have a cup of coffee. The Keurig did not work. I called housekeeping again and told them and they said they would switch it out. I had to call them again to tell them I was going to my concert and it's ok to come into the room while I am gone. I woke up the next morning on my day of check-out and tried to brew coffee. The water drained into the cup like a shower head. I tried again and it came out as slightly brown water with raw coffee grounds. At this point I gave up and decided I would just go to a restaurant for some breakfast and coffee. They give you complimentary bottled water but i drank one bottle and didn't even want the rest. It tasted like ...well, I'm not sure but it wasn't good. The only reason for two stars was the bed was very comfortable The carpet was very worn, there was evidence of mold in the bathroom and I won't be staying here anymore.

Yelp
first off let me start with pay attention to the reviews***bedbugs bedbugs bedbugs *** stay away from this hotel!!!!!!!! checked in friday 4/14 and by saturday morning i was miserable because of the horrible itching. unfortunately, i thought i was having an allergic reaction and took meds because i couldn't relax and enjoy my trip. well that put me to sleep. when i woke up that evening for a show we were going to my hand had bumps that seemed to look like possible mosquito bites. i uncomfortably went to the show because i didn't want to ruin my bf first concert in a loooong time. anywho, back to the room to bed only to wake up all through the night to frustrating itching. first thing in the morning my bf asked how i was because he knew i didn't get any rest. once i explained horrible because i had no clue what the heck was going on with me at this point, we looked up signs of bedbugs and he started to flip both beds in our room and behold f$@&ing bedbugs. i then called the front desk and toni answered and advised me that a security guard would be up to assist. why a security guard i have no damn clue but 25-30 minutes later security guard garret arrived at our room to nonchalantly ask what happened. why do i say nonchalantly?? because he didn't seem to express any concern, he approached the whole situation like, oh goodness again!!! he then asked me to explain what happened. asked if he can take pictures of the bites on my body and had me write a statement of my experience. once he got what i guess he came for he stated once we leave the room will be locked and treated. so we left first thing in the morning sunday. we for-sure wont be returning to the edgewater. this was the worse experience ever. i've gotten home and still dealing with the effects. my boyfriend and i both had to get rid of our things because we were afraid to bring the f$@&ing unwanted critters home especially being we have kids to think about and i be damned if they had to deal with what i have been dealing with for the last 5 days at this point. *****please please please don't go here and take this and the other reviews seriously*** you may not think this could happen to you, neither did i but remember if they treat one room at a time these things just move to the next room. i've learned more and more after the last few days dping research and speaking to pest control companies.

Yelp
Would have given 5 stars previous years. This year not so much. Bar and restaurant staff are still the absolute best thing about the Edge. "New" bartop machines (the tall ones) are ridiculously tight, in fact they all are now whereas they used to let you win every now and then. Eh, nature of the beast I guess. The worst, they actually sent security (who were very nice), out to the pool to tell me there is no smoking out there. Outside. At the pool. Where there were 5 other people. Where there used to be ashtrays everywhere. Here's a novel idea Edgewater; instead of embarrassing your guests, put up a "no smoking" sign. Just one. Maybe where the "Rules" are posted? Or at the entrance? Or anywhere? If there's magically no outdoor smoking anymore, fine, but just one sign somewhere would save your guests embarrassment and your security staff shoe leather.

Yelp
My checking date was July 19th 2024 room 611 if you want to make things right reach out to me. I pre booked my trip, came out with my truck in jet skis, when I arrive to the hotel the designated area for trucks and trailers, we're taken by passenger vehicles without trailers, evidently they were parked in the wrong stalls. The trucks that did have trailers that were allowed to be in that area, we're taking more than one parking stall, parked in property, and taking up more space than they needed. I went to the valet person, and I was told that was the only location to park my vehicle, I asked him what he suggested he said, he does not know.... I parked my truck where there was ample space for vehicles to go around, meanwhile I went to check in. When I got to the check encounter, I was told the computers were down and I couldn't check in until about 30 minutes, I asked if there was any other parking besides the designated area, they told me they had an overflow parking lot across the street from the aquarius, which the valet person never mentioned. I asked if I can have a parking pass so I can go and park my vehicle meanwhile the system reboots. I was told I could not have a pass until I check in, because they wouldn't know what room I would be in. While I was waiting for the system to reboot, the security guard came around and threatened my wife, first he gave her a warning and told her to move the vehicle, she does not know how to drive with the trailer, he came back around the second time and said if we don't move the truck we will not be welcome to stay there.... Mind you I can't be at two places at one time, I advise the check-in clerk of what the security guard had told my wife, she told me to disregard that guy he doesn't know what he's talking about. After finally being able to check in, we went to the room, the rooms are nothing fancy they look like a ran down hotel room from the 1990s, outdated furniture and television, the bathtub looks like they did a bad job trying to reglaze it. I kept getting harassed over my medical hearing device, while playing at the tables. The following day, we went to launch the jet skis and we asked some staff if they had access to the river from the property, we were told there was no access. After returning from a day at the river, we were told by another staff member, that there was actually access from the hotel to the river. Bottom line the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing there, the majority of the staff has bad communication skills, bad attitudes, their attitudes are like take it or leave it. This is the second time I've been out to Laughlin, the other time I stood at the Aquarius, and that place is worse than this one, same attitude with the staff. It's probably due to the fact that they don't get paid much there, so they have a really sour attitude. If you need to go to Laughlin, perhaps take an RV if you have one, or you will experience terrible hospitality. Horrible place to stay, if I could I'd give it a negative 5 stars

Yelp
My 15 month old son found an open knife in the room. When I called the front desk about it I was put on hold over 4 times. They sent security to my room, who handled the knife with no gloves. Nothing was done about this problem besides reserving a refund after I went to the front desk and demanded one. My son could have been seriously hurt. It's completely unacceptable. Would give a zero if I could.

Yelp
This is an older hotel/ casino. You come here to either gamble or hit the lake with your water toys. The rooms are very basic but both of our rooms were very clean! We all brought our own pillows and after reading other reviews, Chlorex wipes but we didn't need them. All the staff was very friendly and the pool was nice too. If you want glamour go to Vegas or the Aquarius down street looked more modern. The river walk connecting all the hotels is really nice. I would stay here again.

Yelp
Got to say this is a favorite hotel of mine. I've stayed here a few times off of free nights or real discounted nights from gambling & using my players card. Pool is small, can't say I've ever swam in it but I have had rooms that over look it. Rooms have always been nice & clean. I've read a few bad reviews but its not a 5 star hotel so not sure what some people are expecting? For the first time we stayed in the Sedona tower the elevators are located across from the gift shop. These rooms are newly remodeled but their showers are stand up only, no tub. Now I don't go taking baths when I come here but I do like a place to put my legs up when shaving vs having to lean over. I've stayed in the Santa Fe towers a few times which aren't bad for being older rooms. We just recently stayed here for NYE for one night. We didn't even use the shower. Was just a place to chill before heading out & a bed to sleep in. Hotel lines can be long, but this recent visit it didn't move to bad. The young girl who waited on me was very nice & friendly. We did have some nosey neighbors next to us but that was around 10pm at night & we were up chilling & drinking before we headed out for NYE midnight fireworks. This hotel is in a good location on the River walk strip. If you don' t mind walking it won't take you too long to get to other casino's close by. We've walked to Riverside & Aquarius many times. They have the water taxi & I can remember when it use to be free a few years ago. Not sure how much it costs now or what hours it runs. There is a bus that runs on the main road but that costs ya. Can't say I've seen a lot of cabs, Lyfts or Ubers so plan accordingly if your going to be out drinking & hitting up other casino's. Make sure you have some comfortable shoes on. There's a few places you can grab something to eat inside. My favorite is Capriotti's sandwich shop. There's a little club/lounge inside. I've only seen it from the outside & unfortunately I haven't been inside yet & with Corona no clubs are opened up in Laughlin yet. There is smoking allowed inside the casino but I have seen a section where its smoke free. Lots of slot machines to choose from and a few tables. I've never won big here before or won much @ all.....LOL They have a nice little sports area too. I LOVE their gift shop. Check out my review & other's to see what is all about. They also have a little Dunkin Donuts right inside the main entrance to the left. Parking is close by or you can use their FREE valet, just don't forget to tip them.

Yelp
Nice Room Arrival at the hotel was less than friendly. We pulled up in front to go check in and the valet made it very clear we could not park there so I parked in a zone not too far from the entrance and we walked in. After checking in, I pulled the car up to the front door and we took our bags out of the car to bring to our room after I parked the car. No sooner do I have the rear hatch open to pull our bags, Mr. Annoying Valet is there telling me I can't do what I was doing. Clearly, he wanted me to use him for valet and bellman service which I don't want or need. So I ignored him and did so every time I went to the entrance during the next three days to pick up my wife as she is unable to walk far. Get a clue hotels - your valet and bellman service is your first chance to welcome or disappoint your guests. Check-in was fast and the elevators even faster. As were mid week travelers and guessing that the hotel had few guests, I asked if we could be put into a room overlooking the river. No problem as long as we paid $20 additional per night. No way, especially since I was only paying $21.38 per night. And as I found out from housekeeping staff during our stay, occupancy during our stay was very low - loads of waterfront rooms were unused. This is a budget friendly hotel that offers very clean, updated, large rooms, but no mini-fridge as most places have. The bathroom was spotless. The bed was super comfortable and the room was very quiet. Daily housekeeping was appreciated with new towels daily. The daily resort fee ($64.14 for 3 days) is a joke especially when the weather is too cool to use an outdoor pool and the only other 'resort' amenity is a miniature fitness center, but this is a standard fee in many hotels now as a way to generate additional revenue. The hotel does have several dining options. We tried PT's Express for some drinks and snacks. $5 tap beers were nice. The Mozzarella Sticks and the Chicken Caesar Salad ($13.00) were very good. I also tried Capriotti's Sandwich Shop for a Grilled Italian Sub (Medium, 10 inch, $12.00). The flavor of the sandwich was very good and it was made fresh while I waited, but I feel the price is too high for the amount of ingredients in the sandwich. The three options for parking are valet, free open parking lot, and free parking garage. The lot is not far from the entrance, but it is a bit of a walk - too far for people with walkers or limited mobility. The parking garage is even further way and I wouldn't consider it at all and I am a regular walker. The first thing you notice about the casino is they allow smoking and the ventilation is not that good. There is a smaller non-smoking section for a healthier option. The casino is primarily slot machines and as we do play slots at other casinos we found these machines to be comparable as far as payouts. Sign up for the True Rewards Program and as a new member you will get some free play. If they offer gamblers complimentary drinks while playing, I never saw a cocktail server wandering the casino floor during our time there. We visited several other casinos and the cocktail servers were plentiful. This could explain why so many people were playing games at the bars. In summary, this hotel offers a nice room at a budget price, has nice views onto the river, several dining options, plenty of gaming, has easy in/out off of Casino Drive and is close to all the other casinos. I would stay here again.

Yelp
Worst reservation customer service, had a hard time canceling with a Rude agent plus on the phone for an hour before anyone answering!
