"Edgewood Pizza — the self-proclaimed home of “king slices” — plans to open a second location in West End. The Old Fourth Ward (O4W) pizzeria filed two permits with city of Atlanta to begin construction at the Sky Lofts complex on Oak Street near the West End Mall. The Edgewood Avenue pizzeria closed for over a year after sustaining heavy damage following an electrical fire in August 2013. It reopened for king slices, calzones, and wings in January 2015. During the Super Bowl, local artist Fabian Williams and other street artists painted murals of NFL quarterback and activist Colin Kaepernick on buildings and restaurants across the city. Edgewood Pizza commissioned a mural for their restaurant as part of the #KaeperBowl." - Beth McKibben

When they first opened I came in and had a drink and a slice. It was decent enough to return, but not mind blowing. Then on another day, I ordered wings and sat for nearly an hour before being told that they didn’t have wings available. I had already paid for the order and was refunded. I understood; they had just opened up. I was told to come back for free wings. When I showed up for them I was told to come back in two hours, I didn’t. Fast forward to today 2/11/22, and my lady suggested we get pizza. She asked about this place and I was like sure. She ordered a double crust stuffed pizza… You see the pic, right?

Wanted to get 2 slices, nice lady at counter said it will take 15 minutes, which seemed long considering it was completely empty. Anyway I figured it would be worth the wait...I was WRONG. It took about 38 minutes, burnt, and the cheese looked and tasted horrible. At that point I was hungry and didn't have time to wait another 40 minutes. I cannot understand why anyone would waste their money and most of all their time coming here...guess I see why it was empty.

The pizza is A1 frfr. The drinks are a lil pricey $15 for a shot! There will be a lil wait but it's worthwhile. Each location gives the same food quality love it

So, I went to this location thinking it would taste & is the same as the original location on Edgewood, but noooo it's not, my wings are extremely small & when I mentioned it to the young lady behind the bar she said, all the restaurant's wings are that small and I know that's not true because I just went to my normal pizza place & there wings are the same size as always.... Then I paid a 18%service charge for a to go order, why??? I had to get a copy of my receipt just to be sure of what I just paid $30 for......

Restaurant clean, bathroom clean. Great late night chill relaxing spot. I ordered chicken wings lemon pepper wet ;taste not there. Had pepperoni pizza excellent crust but cheese taste on the cheaper end and salty making pizza a fail for me. I should have ordered pizza sauce. Basic salad was good. Would go back and chill and get something else.

The ULTIMATE experience! I was having a pizza party for my birthday and wanted to order from here, but was nervous after reading the reviews.  However, I decided to move forward and went in a few weeks in advance to inquire and share my request. Then return a few days before to place the order. They were very accommodating throughout. The manager even gave me her personal number, she was very responsive and proactive in communicating with me. She didn't hesitate to accommodate my special requests. She even committed to coming in early to make my order herself. They had been out of turkey pepperoni for a while, but made sure they had it for my order. When we arrived for pickup, the order was hot & ready. Then she even circle back hours later as a courtesy to confirm that everything was ok. Despite having a 10 unique flavored spinning wing platter as the highlight of my 2 item menu, everyone was hovering over the pizza and commenting on how great it was. We were PIZDAZZLED!

I am so disappointed. Wow. I used to be a die hard Edgewood Pizza fan when I lived on Edgewood and was so excited when I saw one opened up on the west end. 1. Service is trash. I walked in to pick up my order and the cashier was smoking a hookah and aggressively texting someone for a full 2 mins before even acknowledging me 2. The bar was full but no one was eating or drinking. Not sure if they were all waiting on something but while I waited to be served I noticed the guy sitting next to me was smoking a blunt (kind of funny) 3. Food wasnt as good as the Edgewood location 4. The bar was pitiful smh Wont be back.
