⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We dined at The Edge Restaurant & Lounge during our honeymoon and had a very enjoyable experience. Although our table did not have a lake view, the quality of the food and service more than made up for it. The service was attentive, warm, and professional throughout the evening. A special highlight was the bread service — incredibly soft bread served with three types of butter, which was a wonderful start to the meal. The roast chicken was cold-smoked, beautifully cooked, and absolutely delicious. Overall, a fantastic dining experience driven by great food and excellent service. We truly enjoyed the evening and would happily return.

Fine dining companied with a stunning view of beautiful Lake Tahoe! My wife and I celebrate our wedding anniversary here each year and it’s quickly become one of our top rated destinations while visiting Lake Tahoe. The bar is staffed with highly experienced bartenders from around the world ready to fill your cup with some of the finest spirits available. I highly recommend the suggested and featured drinks. Dining options range from five course meals to deliciously prepared salads. Dining area is spacious with views of the lake, regardless of where you’re seated. Beautiful lighting located around the restaurant ensures a well lit dining experience, with a dimmed romantic lure. The highly trained and experienced staff is always on point, ready and willing to serve your needs and provide recommendations based on your preference. You get what you pay for! As others have noted, this restaurant isn’t for those on a tight budget. That being said, you don’t go to fine dining restaurants expecting fast food prices. Edge provides the customer with a fine dining experience at an affordable price in my opinion.

The food was good, and the flavors were definitely there, you could tell the ingredients were fresh and high quality, but for the price, I’d probably go somewhere else. Every dish was well-prepared, but I was expecting something more memorable. The service itself was an experience, though, which was a nice touch. Maybe my expectations were just a little too high, but overall it didn’t quite blow me away.

We dined at this restaurant upon hearing so much praise about it. The restaurant has an interesting floor plan, where you won’t get a window seating as the manager has mentioned. But what was extremely shocking and made our dinner experience the worst, was the very rude and dismissive waiter we had. As my husband was talking at the head of the table and the waiter was standing next to him, he rudely cut him off and said, “so what are you having for main course?” Or something of that effect. We were all shocked. My husband ordered his dinner and later on again, as my husband was talking, the waiter grabbed the dessert menu off my husband’s hands and took the order. The young and the other waitress who were serving were extremely pleasant and friendly. The drinks and appetizers were okay but the main course was nothing extraordinary. Overall, this was not what we were expecting when it comes to service. Extremely disappointing.

This place is magical. The dining room is well laid out, with tiered seating, so that every table has a great view of Lake Tahoe. It's a perfect sunset viewing location. Consider looking up what time sunset is and planning your dinner reservation for a little before that time. When we arrived for our 7pm reservation, the sun had already mostly set and the view of the lake was dark by the time we got our drinks. I could maybe understand complaints of pricing with the prix fixe tasting menu. We ordered individual dishes rather than the tasting menu, and I felt like we got a great value despite it being an expensive dinner. Also worth noting that the resort is valet only for parking. We were able to get around this by walking from our hotel the half mile or so to Edgewood. The Edgewood shuttle driver saw us walking into the resort in a light rain and offered us a ride up to the resort which was very nice since we were not resort guests. The service here is top notch. We were celebrating our anniversary (and indicated that in our reservation) so they started our night with a complimentary small pour of champagne to celebrate. We had been back and forth on what entrees to order, so we decided to skip an appetizer (although the bread and butter looked so fluffy and yummy) and split 3 entrees between the two of us. We had the Beef (Wagyu Filet with purple potatoes and au poivre), the Trout (with Sauce Nage, asparagus, and morels) and the House Made Corn Agnolotti (Cacio e Pepe and corn). All three dishes were incredible. The trout dish was light. The beef dish was so savory. And the agnolotti was absolutely to die for. For dessert we chose the deconstructed tiramisu which was the best tiramisu I've ever had. There was a thin cookie that gave this delightful crispy texture that I often find is missing in tiramisu. And because we mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary there was a small white chocolate piece that said, "Happy Anniversary" on our dessert. After finishing everything, the servers brought us complimentary dark chocolate from the in-house chocolatier. An amazing experience all around.

This was one of the most memorable meals we have had. The view of the sunset over the lake was absolutely stunning, every dish we had was both beautiful and delicious, and the service was impeccable. Outstanding!

During my inaugural visit to Tahoe City, I resided at Edgewood Resort, conveniently situated adjacent to the Edge Restaurant. Regrettably, the culinary offerings at the restaurant were subpar. While the server provided exceptional service, the waitstaff responsible for delivering food did not ensure that we had completed our previous course before serving a new one. This oversight extended to the provision of new silverware, even when it was not yet available. In summary, I would not recommend this fine dining establishment if you prioritize food quality and service.

Delightful service. I think my server was Lauren and also Luci knew my plates so well and some young man who started me off. It was Rich's first night. Great people watching. I think they're working out some kinks with communication but this was a wonderful place to have a solo dinner for a monumental birthday. I had the tasting menu and also ordered the trout because i love to eat and i wanted to eat more. My bill was $320 for myself and i felt satisfied.

We had such a great dining experience here! The food was amazing and everyone was so friendly and attentive. The view made the whole experience even better. Big thanks to Mags for helping us with our reservation and squeezing us in when it's fully booked! And Elena was amazing too! She's so friendly and attentive. She recommended all our dishes, and every one of them was so delicious! They both made us feel so welcome throughout the night. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Tahoe! I recently dined here and overall had a really enjoyable experience. I opted for the 5-course tasting menu, and the food was genuinely impressive. Each dish was creative, thoughtfully plated, and full of flavor. You could tell the kitchen put a lot of care into crafting a unique dining experience. The service was also excellent. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made the experience feel welcoming without being intrusive. The ambiance of the restaurant was beautiful as well--elegant, comfortable, and exactly what you'd hope for in a higher-end dining setting. The only downside was the pacing of the meal. The courses took quite a while to come out, which made the dinner feel longer than expected. Additionally, there was a guest dining with a dog. Regardless of whether it was a support animal or not, it felt a bit out of place in a 4-5 star dining environment and took away slightly from the upscale atmosphere. That said, the quality of the food and service were strong enough that I would still recommend trying the tasting menu if you're looking for a creative and well-executed dining experience.

The Edge Restaurant in South Lake Tahoe is an absolute gem. It is elegant, elevated, and perfect for a special night out. I dined here with a small group, and since I love sharing, we decided to order a wide variety of dishes to experience as much of the menu as possible. The restaurant offers both a prix fixe menu and a regular à la carte menu, which made it easy to mix and match and try a little bit of everything. The elk was beautifully prepared, rich, tender, and full of flavor. The quail was another highlight for me. The mushroom dish was outstanding and deserves just as much attention as the proteins. We also had the hamachi on wonton and the carpaccio, both of which were absolutely delicious. I am not sure if those items are always on the menu, but if you see them offered, do not hesitate. They were memorable and beautifully executed. The service was on par with the food. It was attentive, knowledgeable, and polished without feeling intrusive. One thing to note is that the restaurant is a cashless venue, so be sure to bring cash for the valet. From the ambiance to the cuisine and service, everything felt thoughtful and refined. If you are looking for an elegant dining experience in South Lake Tahoe, especially one that is great for sharing plates and savoring multiple dishes, The Edge is well worth the visit.

I had a great experience. I reserved time for sunset and it was well worth it. I started with their appetizer grilled maitake mushrooms and I really liked them. Their butter, bread and honey was also delicious, honey had cayenne pepper mixed which gave very good flavor. For entree I ordered elk chops, it was really delicious. They also give some time of muse to try before the entree. For drink I got non alcoholic cocktail which they call mocktails - Vesuvius. I finished with chocolate raspberry budino which was really on point. Michael did wonderful job as on serving, suggesting and explaining. I believe Jason was assistant server made sure everything was on point. 100% recommended.

2/1/2026 We've been here numerous times over the years but we just came here after the remodel. The experience was fabulous! The restaurant is beautiful, the service was exceptional (Edward and Elaine) were the best and they remembered us from before. The food was delicious. We felt so special! Some of what we ordered: oysters, market salad, lobster and Chilean sea bass, and for dessert we ordered the deconstructed tiramisu. All yummy.

The ambiance is among the top locations in Reno/Tahoe. The service was also excellent. The food was good with an excellent presentation. If you have the money to spend try it out, in my opinion the food wasn't worth the price we paid.

EDGE Restaurant & Lounge in Stateline delivers a true Tahoe experience. The room feels warm and elegant, with stone walls, artful lighting, and big windows that frame the lake. Come at sunset if you can, the view turns dinner into a little event. We started with cocktails, a precision martini with its own garnish plate and a playful blue beauty that was balanced and bright. An icy citrus granita arrived as a small amuse and set the tone for a thoughtful meal. The bread service surprised us, warm pull apart rolls with a trio of butters that we kept reaching for. Starters were standouts. The scallop crudo was fresh and lively, citrusy with thinly sliced radish, a little heat, and a nutty crunch. The sweet corn pasta was silky and savory, finished with a light foam and delicate crisped threads on top. For the main, the rack of lamb came perfectly medium rare, juicy and tender, with a cherry pan sauce, crispy kale, and a rich base that tied everything together. Dessert kept things elegant, a creamy panna cotta with fruit and an almondy semifreddo that was not too sweet. Service was gracious, knowledgeable, and never rushed. Pacing was spot on, and every plate was presented with care. Prices are premium, the quality and the setting make it worth it. For a special night in Tahoe, EDGE is an easy yes.

Celebrated my fiancés b-day at the newly reopened Edge Restaurant at the Edgewood resort. Drinks here are unique, tasty and so pretty! We thought the $165 for a five course tasting menu was reasonable, especially in comparison to the pricing on the a la carte menu. Creative, beautifully presented and delicious! We also ordered the bread and butter that came with salted butter, spiced honey and lavender honey. Loved the condiments, but the bread was underwhelming: cold and dry. The fiancé got the foie gras for a starter, a treat as we can't get this just a block down in California. It was a good portion, decadent and tasty. His trout entree was cooked perfectly too. We had to try the honey baked Alaska for dessert. We both thought there was a bit too much going on with the tastes and textures in that little dessert. Portions in the smaller side. We didn't walk away feeling full and we finished everything. Service was very attentive. The meal was very slow paced. Get ready for a long one: ours stretched out to three hours! They really take their time here. Valet parking only.

Was good, not great. Loved the elk and the stracciatella app. The salad was also very good, but small. We ordered small portions of dinner to save from for desserts, that was a bad choice. My wife liked the desserts, but I wasn't crazy about them. We both agreed the crème brûlée cake was interesting but too much and not as good as real crème brûlée. The chocolate was too fudgy for my liking but she enjoyed that too. She also liked the almond topping on the apple dessert option. We agreed that the entrees were better than the desserts and if we go back we'll skip dessert. Also, personally, it was a little much. They introduce their menu as a "Michelin inspired" menu, which just means that Michelin restaurants also have multicourse fixed price options. Felt a little like they were selling me a timeshare the way they said it quickly. When I asked they clarified that they had a Forbes something. So I asked a second time and the were like "no we're not a Michelin restaurant. Was shady. The service was fine but definitely felt crowded. Always reaching between us it swap plates and multiple people asking us generic questions that we all know they didn't care about like "where are you from? How long are you here?" They also threw in the Mr Mark after reading my name off my credit card which just feels creepy as crap. We might go back. The entrees were great and the view is awesome, but it's just not a very comfortable place. Definitely wouldn't recommend if you're an introvert or anywhere on the spectrum unless you're ready for some uncomfortableness. Also, what's up with saying Michelin inspired? Is that even legal?

First time here. Our friend chose this place for her bday dinner. We had a very nice time, food was delicious and the drinks were even better. Our waiter was the best, very attentive and friendly. The ambiance was gorgeous. Absolutely recommend if you are looking to have an elegant dining experience!

My husband and I have been coming to The Edge restaurant for the past few years and we couldn't be happier with our experience every time we go. Our server, Tyler, is not just knowledgeable on the drink menu but also all the food. We can always trust his suggestions when it comes to what drinks, appetizers, entrees or desserts to get. We're always in great hands. The food is always incredibly flavorful and packed with all the best ingredients. They have recently redone their restaurant and the vibes are always immaculate. We can't wait to come back again and try more on the menu.

This restaurant is beautiful. It is located within a golf course and the scenic views from the windows are amazing. We were able to get valet and walk up this grand staircase where we were greeted by staff. My boyfriend and I enjoyed a 5 course tasting meal and a few drinks for our anniversary. The staff was excellent and even took us outside to make sure we got photos on our special day. The food was very fresh and the cocktails were nicely crafted. I enjoyed 4/5 courses as I am not a huge fan of tomatoes. Dessert was very sweet, I did not finish it. I would definitely recommend this place for a special occasion dinner.

We visited Edgewood last year and left completely enchanted -- it was one of those rare dining experiences that felt magical from start to finish. This time, however, was a major letdown. While the new renovations are certainly sleek, they feel completely out of place. The modern aesthetic stripped away all of the rustic charm that once made the space feel so special and cozy. Unfortunately, the service matched the new look -- cold and impersonal. Our server's description of the menu items consisted of, "This is really good because I like it," which didn't exactly inspire confidence or convey much knowledge about the dishes. The new chef's menu felt unimaginative and lacked flavor -- a huge contrast to last year's thoughtful, balanced dishes. To top it off, I sat with my entrée in front of me for a full five minutes before realizing I didn't even have silverware, and had to flag someone down just to start eating. Last year, our experience was so memorable we came back the very next night. This time, we had reservations for two evenings -- and after the first, we cancelled the second. Edgewood used to deliver something truly special; now, it feels like it's lost its soul.

Beautiful Setting, Disappointing Meal The Edge in Lake Tahoe has a wonderful ambience and an outstanding view. The formal atmosphere is lovely, but the food fell short of expectations. We were excited after seeing photos online, but the menu has changed and the quality didn't match the fine-dining experience we expected. The cucumber salad was not good at all -- trust me, skip it -- though the Gem salad was delicious and the bread and butter were tasty bites. We've dined at restaurants that have achieved what The Edge is aiming for -- like Bull & Bear, The Salt, Tides in Vero Beach, Eddie V's, and The Wave -- but this one didn't reach that level. Our bill was about $350; the head waiter and assistant were very nice. The highlight was the jasmine honeysuckle tea -- fresh, fragrant, and absolutely delicious. Note: a 20% service charge is automatically added, and a credit card is required to hold the reservation.

My bridesmaids brought me here for my bachelorette dinner last weekend and the whole evening was INCREDIBLE! Our server Loren took very good care of us the entire night, the food was some of the best I've ever had, and the dessert?! Omg definitely try the coconut crème brûlée! Get it with a glass of champagne too, it will change your life! I've never had anything like it. We were sat with the perfect view of the lake at sunset, had great food, and even met the executive chef at the end of the meal. He is so much younger than I was expecting! Everyone treated us so well and it truly was a once in a lifetime experience!

We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Edgewood. The Elk Chop was fantastic, cooked to tender perfection and full of flavor. Highly recommend it, especially knowing the chef is from the Midwest and clearly knows how to handle game meats beautifully. The Beef (American Wagyu) was also excellent. The Trout was decent, though the other dishes definitely stole the show. Their Signature Cocktails are fantastic, and we particularly appreciated the originality with some of the fusion mixes. Service was top-notch; when the evening got a little chilly, they brought us blankets, which was such a thoughtful touch. The ambience is stunning-- cozy, elegant, and compliments the resort's aesthetics and Tahoe scenery. All in all, a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommend if you're in the area and looking for an elevated but warm and welcoming meal. We'll definitely be returning the next time we're in Tahoe.

Highly deceptive billing. First off, food and service were excellent. Ambiance is first rate. It all stops there. If you care at all about what you are paying for, ASK for a paper receipt before you put down your credit card. We did not and that little machine charge was vastly different than what was charged to the card. If you don't care about the money - great place.

Would be cautious of their nebulous "dress code". My wife and child were turned away because we weren't dressed "correctly" . We I asked the host (Mags) and manager ( Taylor Justice ?), which rule we broke according the website, they said none, I specifically asked if any piece I wore (dark collared shirts, dark jeans, dress sneakers) broke the rules, to which the host said "no, just the overall combination". This was after a patron was allowed in with light flannel shirt and hiking sneakers. So my take and what they are implying is the restaurant code is just based on any prejudicial whim the host and GM feels at the moment. Whether it be my fashion choice, my age, my status or my race... I guess I'll never know.

Every time we come to Tahoe, we've had dinner here. This time we brought my SIL & husband. The view & ambiance is what you pay for. The Parker rolls are amazing, we ordered two. I had the elk chop & I had the best meal of the group. Unfortunately my BIL's roasted chicken was dry. Two got the trout & both said it was bit tasteless. This is first time we had mediocre food here & unfortunately first time we brought company.

We love the ambiance of this restaurant and view. Lights are a little bright and should be dimmed more. Service is a bit slow. Took 34 minutes from the time we sat down to get a cocktail. The Wagu filet was served like warm but it was good and tasty. For the price this restaurant needs to be better with service. Elaina and Ed waited on us and both were very personable and friendly.

Me, my boyfriend and 2 of our freinds went to the Edge and it was absolutely amazing. Parker house rolls are a must, we had to order more. I had the elk, it was cooked perfectly. Our server Tyler was so amazing, we went outside to take pictures, he brought out our drinks that we ordered OUTSIDE, very above and beyond. If you'd like an amazing, fun night out with great service and food, this is the place to go.

Lovely room even after dark (no view of the beautiful landscaping, unfortunately). Servers were very nice, but the operation seemed to be off. Several errors we experienced and observed. Great drinks, but we waited for almost 30 minutes to receive them. Adventurous menu. Had the Okinawa sweet potato (excellent!) And the sablefish (too soft/mushy for me, but worth a gamble). The farmers' market salad was quite good. Overall, fine restaurant but not worth the premium cost.

This deserves all the 5 stars! It was absolutely amazing! My fiancé and I just got engaged and had our engagement dinner here! The service was impeccable, they treated us so very well. To start, the VIEW! Beautiful. Got a lovely seat right by the window for sunset. We started off at the bar with the WARM BREAD & multiple butters. YOU HAVE TO GET THIS! The best ever. I dream about it still! Than we decided to get the charcuterie experience, let me tell you my fiancé is super picky.. he ate it all! Yummy and fun to pick out. The salad was of course, yummy! & we both got the beef entree. Delicious. To end, the in house made strawberry icecream & tiramisu & they gave us a glass of complimentary champagne to end the night. & another thing I'm dreaming of the most smooth creamy raspberry dark chocolate! We were stuffed and beyond happy with the experience! I couldn't recommend this spot enough!!!

7/22/23 Edgewood Restaurant is a definite 5 stars for the food, the service and the view. Zach made a reservation here for 7:45PM to celebrate our engagement earlier that day. The restaurant inside and out is veyy beautiful. There's a valet service which I'm not sure if it's mandatory or not, but Zach handed the valet guy the keys and we proceeded up the staircase inside. There are huge windows and an outdoor space you can walk to enjoy the view. We waited an extra 10 minutes to get a table right by the window, but it was worth the wait since the view was amazing. All of staff here are dressed very professionally and the service was truly outstanding. Aaron was our waiter that evening and he was great. Even the chairs are wonderful because they are so comfy and they support your back and shoulders. Here's what we got: - Bronzed sea scallops (to share) - French onion soup (his) - Lobster chowder (mine) - Veal chops (his) - Halibut (mine) - Fuji apple ginger sour (mine) We went all out since we were celebrating the engagement. The bread and butter they give you was phenomenal and honestly probably the best bread and butter I've ever had. They give you a variety of bread and the butter is so smooth and so creamy. We would go outside to enjoy the view and see the sunset when we were waiting for the food to come. Everything we had tasted amazing. Would definitely return!

We had dinner here last night. The service was good, the food was just okay. We had a crab appetizer along with a beet and hamachi starter. They were okay but nothing to write home about. We opted to split the filet special and a Caesar salad. The steak was okay. It had a sweet hue to it because it had a blueberry something glaze. The salad was a joke. It was literally 6 pieces of lettuce a little dressing and anchovies. The kicker was the $45 corkage, which is fine but we bought a wine from them too. We are a custom to corkage getting waived if you buy a wine off of their list. That did not happen here. I'd probably just eat at The Bistro on property next time.

Loved everything about our evening here! First, you could not ask for a better view especially at sunset. The staff were friendly and made our anniversary dinner amazing from start to finish. We were given complementary glass of champagne to celebrate- what a wonderful way to show they were paying attention to the "special occasion " question on the reservation. The food was delicious and the flavor blends were spot on. We ordered the bread and butter, scallop appetizer, elk chop, steak and budino for dessert. The dessert also had a happy anniversary chocolate square added; another noteworthy special touch. My husband isn't the most adventurous eater so was a little worried the menu items might a little out of his comfort zone, but he absolutely loved everything. Compliments to the chef for curating the menu! Would 100% come back.

So there we were, celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary, but where should we go? We chose Edgewood and we were very happy that we did. Of course, the service was excellent at the property as many people assisted us. It started with the Concierge, Jackie making our reservation for us and I'm not sure what she did but we ended up at a fabulous table. As we arrived at our 5 PM reservation, the staff was finishing up their pre-service meeting, and we were sat promptly. Did I mention the fantastic table we got? We were in a booth very near the windows about 15 feet from the shore of Lake Tahoe. We decided on the three course prefix dinner menu with wine pairings selected by their wine team. I chose the beef tenderloin, and my wife chose the halibut, and we were both very happy with our meals. We were aware that other reviews were concerned with portion size, but our findings were much different. We thought the portions were nicely sized and very appropriate for the meal that we had. All in all, Edgewood is a very worthy restaurant to be included in any discussion of the best restaurants at Lake Tahoe. We will continue to be guests there, and this anniversary dinner won't be soon forgotten.

Honestly not impressed with the menu. Sure, the ambiance is beautiful but I wouldn't dine here again.

Reservations are needed and best to get them right at sunset for a gorgeous view of the lake (we can a bit later and missed it but the restaurant still has a nice ambiance) The hotel offered free valet parking and the restaurant is tucked back a bit, one of the hotel staff was kind to guide us there. The menu isn't the best at explaining all the ingredients or what to expect for each dish, but we were happy with the food we got. Our server gave some helpful insights and I went with the Lobster Chowder (enough for 1 person but 2 can share and taste) They also offered complimentary bread which was unique and tasty. The branzino and kale topped with caviar was divine!! I'll be dreaming about this meal for awhile.

Overpriced, bad service, food was not good. We were fantasizing about all the quality ingredients we could have bought and cooked with instead. This place is view ONLY

Highly recommend it! Gorgeous view, delicious food and excellent service. We went in with our 3 year old and 4 year old. Our server was so nice and patient. We ordered a few plates to share. All of them were delicious! They divided duck risotto in half for my two kids and presented nicely. My husband ordered medium rare Elk chop. It turned out medium rare is too rare for him. They took the plate back in, cooked a little bit more and replaced it with more sides. I like how detailed they are. As upscale retardant, their price is not very expensive.

Came on a weeknight with a reservation. The restaurant was full. Staff is friendly and timely. Valet parking required outside. The menu is a good length and pricey but is expected at a restaurant on a country club site. 1. French Onion Soup - Actually good, a bit much on cheese, not too salty broth, good amount of onion and the bread was not too big 2. Lobster bisque - Good flavor as well. Not excessive on the liquor 3. Tomato mozzarella - Good presentation with smoke. The dish itself was simple and great for the summer 4. Elk loin - Not as gamey as I thought which was good. Cooked properly to a medium as you can see in my picture. Overall, expensive dinner but good to try at least once, treat yourself or for a special occasion!

Spectacular view and exceptional service! The hosts and servers were professional and friendly. We were served a complimentary amuse bouche that was lovely. Heirloom Tomato Brûlée was as described on the menu but somehow missed the mark for me...I think I was expecting more mozzarella. Braised Duck Risotto was delicious. Spring Squash & Lobster Chowder (very nice presentation), Lobster Agnolotti and Prime Steak Duo were very good. For dessert, the Tropical Terrine seemed more like a parfait and came with a very sour mango purée and a topping that was more granola than candied macadamias.

My bf and I came today to celebrate my birthday. We noted on our reservation to have a table with a view next to the window but got seated at a table behind the wall where we barely see the window. So we asked the waiter to reseat us and she was able to arrange a closer spot closer to the window at a booth though not what we originally asked for. I was greeted with a Happy Birthday after the waiter asked us what was the occasion. Though I didn't received any little dessert or anything to acknowledge my birthday which I usually get for special occasion especially with reservation. I did see other tables that had birthday got something. I wasn't sure if our reservation time played any role in this (7:30 pm). We got our entrees around 8:40 P.M. and the place closes at 9 P.M. . So perhaps they might want us out to close the place in time? Oh and the foods took a while to arrived. Originally was going to give a 4 stars but I did read some reviews of people had similar experience with replies from the restaurant stating they would improve but I guess it was just to show? Hence the 3 stars. Foods were on the good side. Waiters were nice and friendly. Views were great (better if we get the window seats). Really nice if it's just a romantic dinner. Oh they also gave us an on the house little piece of pork belly with blueberries on top that was actually a good combo. Not exceedingly met my expectation for a special occasion.

The service is a 10/10. The waiters checked in on us regularly and the food arrived right on time. The place is beautiful and perfect for a romantic dinner. Beautiful view of the golf course and they have fireplaces on in the evening. The food for its price is amazing. I would definitely come back here. The scallops is the best I have ever had in my life. And the pinecone smoked elk loin is absolutely delicious.

Ahhh Here for a winter wedding and was taken back by the beauty of the grounds. Very nice and intimate event space, professional staff. Food was delicious too. Beautiful venue for anyone planning a wedding and reception!

Beautiful presentation in everything. Service, dishes, and scenery. Absolutely an elegant and romantic place to accompany someone with. The wine pairings blend perfectly with it's match. A place worth the price.

I am beyond disappointed--and honestly, furious. While the food was excellent, the restaurant blatantly overcharged me for something I did not order. I specifically ordered two bottles of Silver Oak, listed on their menu at $228 each. Instead, my bill showed a charge of $878. When I questioned it, the sommelier claimed he had brought me a "special" bottle. That's simply not true. He served us the 2019 Silver Oak--the exact one clearly priced at $228 on their own menu. What bothers me most is not just the outrageous overcharge, but the dishonesty. He could have simply said - oh that was a mistake. But no - he said - I can give you $100 credit! Are you kidding me!!!!! They were simply dishonest - to say it nicely! While they attempted to fix the wine charge, I was so upset by the situation that I didn't even check whether they had charged me correctly for the food. That's how shaken I was by the experience. As a local resident, I go out of my way to support businesses in our community. But this kind of behavior is unacceptable. Folks, please--check your bill carefully. Don't assume you're being charged correctly.

Absolutely gorgeous setting, high quality service, and fun cocktails. The amuse-bouche was delightful and unlike anything I've ever tasted. The portions were small for the entrees but pretty filling. I was underwhelmed by the flavor of my trout and veggies but overall it was a very beautiful and yummy time.

My first impression of this place wasn't good at all. The moment I walked in I was told that my outfit was inappropriate, and that they have a dress code at this restaurant. WTF. I'm in jeans, tennis shoe and a long sleeve hoodie tee. There's other guys walking in with shorts, and tee shirts. Next comes the service, at times it seems rush and then it's slow. The food is mediocre, small portions and expensive. I don't recommend this place at all. Avoid until there's improvements

The best Halibut (special menu item) I have ever had! PLEASE put this on your menu as a permanent item I beg of you. It would be worth the 9 hour drive just to come back to have it again! Pan Seared Branzino was delicious as well! Both are the best fish I have ever had! French Onion Soup had the perfect amount of bread and onion. I ate the whole thing! Only sad thing that was missed was that it was our anniversary on 8/8 and it wasn't told to the server (I am assuming). The hosts were very nice and gave us the best seating for our reservation we were so thankful. Absolutely stunning restaurant and view.

This was one of the best dining experiences I've had anywhere in the world - right up there with Mama's Fish House, Flora Gardens in Cabo, Scales in Maine, Jeff Ruby's steakhouse, etc. The service (Tyler and team) was exceptional! We met Chef Cody - great guy! Wife had the 6 course special - special it was. I had Scallop Carpaccio - pasta - and Elk - all the food is INCREDIBLE! Don't skip the bread with lavender butter and spicy honey! All of this AND an amazing view - don't miss this spot if you're in Tahoe - anywhere!

Wow! It would be hard to find a better meal in a nicer location. The lobster pasta was one of the best I have had anywhere! The duck risotto was an amazing appetizer. It's definitely worth the price. Staff is so friendly and despite the high end menu and location it is not pretentious. Perfect place for a romantic night or special occasion. Located right on the lake with amazing views and a beautiful sunset.

Pretentious and unwelcoming. Arrived unaware of their dress code and got turned away from the restaurant. 1-star for not being able to get a table despite having a reservation.

With excellent view, it comes an excellent dinner! From the moment we walked in to the restaurant to the moment we left, the whole service was superb. The food was delicious and tasty. The cocktails were amazing, I highly recommend the espresso rub veal chops. Valet parking only and dress nice.

The tasting menu was one of the best I have had. The wagyu meat was amazing. The service, presentation, and ambiance was 5 star.
