Very dissatisfied with the service. I ordered a dozen strawberries and a rose bouquet and the roses had white mold all over them and were dying. With the cost of these items, I am disappointed at the quality. I had to apologize to the recipient of the gift due to it having mold all over. UPDATE: Store manager refused to give me a refund on the flowers and asked if they could deliver new ones on a later date. I do not need them on a later date and declined this, they said they could give me a store credit or nothing at all. Unacceptable customer service.

Everyone at edible arrangements is freaking awesome! I've made a number of orders at the clybourn location and the work they do is fantastic. Great quick service I’m so impressed. I forgot to order a graduation gift for my boyfriend and went on to Edible’s website for a quick gift. They prepared it and delivered all on the same day and he was so happy. I really thought they’d need to deliver on the next day but they actually delivered on the graduation day on the same day I ordered the gift which was fantastic.

Why did I not check Yelp before ordering from this location! Valentine's Day delivery fail. No way to contact the store -- they had an automated announcement on their phone line stating that they were no longer taking Valentine's Day orders and that the only way to check delivery status was online. Valentine's Day came and went with no delivery. I filed a complaint using their online form and honestly didn't expect to hear from anyone. The best thing I can say about this entire failed transaction was that the store called me the next day and asked if I wanted it to be redelivered today. It was for Valentine's Day so no, I didn't want it delivered the day after. They offered a refund, however I had already filed a complaint with PayPal and they immediately refunded my order total. Goes to show you who has the better service standards! Stay away from this location -- how they haven't pulled their franchise license is beyond me!

Ordered the sweet outdoors mug that comes with 2 mugs full with dipped strawberries and apple truffles. It was a little surprise for my husband since it's our second month of married. I was a little worried that he missed it because went out. 3:30 pm and I haven't got any call and I was a little worried because I have been looking at the phone all day. My surprise when I call "oh my manager called you and you didn't answer we don't have the mugs" WTF??? First, I never got ANY call as I said I had the phone in my hands all day. Second, let's just say they "call me" couldn't leave a voice mail??? If I don't call asking about my order because also the order tracker is never updated also I checked it over and over. So no solutions, I had to ask my money back and no surprise for my husband!!!! Ughhh. AWFUL SERVICE!!!!

Ordered an arrangement for Valentine's Day never received my order. Apparently they outsourced the delivery to Uber and they said it was delivered but we received nothing. Going to call my credit card company and dispute the charge now. Definitely would not recommend them, go elsewhere.

I love Edible arrangements, but had a horrible experience with this location. It was really upsetting as it was my mom's 84th birthday COVID style and she's apart from all of us, in a rehab facility. I ordered chocolate covered fruit for her on a Sunday morning at 9:08, the store called the day after it was to be delivered and wanted to reschedule. No calls the day of, no text, nothing. They also lied to me and said the facility she is in wouldn't accept the delivery for her, when they never even showed up with delivery to the facility. They claimed they called me, no voicemail/missed call. The caller wanting to reschedule said that I ordered at 3:08pm, which is a vast difference from my order time on my email. Such a shame...... No apology, nothing.

WARNING: Under no circumstances, order online from this Edible Arrangements location! This recommendation is from a law enforcement career person. The previously posted negative reviews are WELL DESERVED. I am from Michigan and placed an online order, through this site. My daughter lives only about 1 mile from this franchisee. She was seriously ill and I ordered items to be delivered to her. On the morning of the scheduled delivery, I received an email claiming that a delivery attempt was unsuccessful? There apparently was confusion about this process? I called the number of the delivery driver. To make a long story short, PROMISES were made that the items would be delivered that afternoon. Never happened. Absolutely no communication from Edible Arrangements or delivery service. The day ended with: no receipt of ordered goods. Or any status updates! We contacted this store, the following morning, and inquired about our order. Staff shirked all responsibility for non-delivery; claiming that the delivery is not under their control???? My credit card had been charged for my order. BEWARE: It is MY OPINION, that the management continually uses deceptive business practices. Receives payment, and does everything in its power, not to provide the service compensated for.

I would give this place NO STARS if that was an option!!! My daughter NEVER received her arrangement. After MANY promises to be delivered, being on hold for 45 min at a time, and hung up on more than 6 times. I WOULD NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!! I also filed a complaint but have not heard back yet.

Not only did they delivered to the wrong place, I called and was hung up 6 times before I was able to finally get someone to do customer service. How do you run a company and hang the phone up 6 times and not give your customer the chance to talk. I understand mistakes happen with the delivery but it is frustrating when you have to deal with that and.... Can't have someone to want to answer you so they can tell you whats wrong with your order. You would hear them answer and hang up there was absolutely nothing wrong with their phone this was purposely being done and it unprofessional and unacceptable that I had to write a poor review.

DO NOT order from this location. They are a DELIVERY service. If your recipient is not there at the exact time they deliver even though you cannot know their delivery time, they will REFUSE TO REDELIVER and REFUSE A FULL REFUND. I have reported this company to the Illinois Attorney General for their refusal to give me a 100 percent refund and refusal to attempt a second delivery. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Why do you offer delivery if you REFUSE TO DELIVER?

I ordered an arrangement from the Southport location for the nurses station where my mom is as a thank you. According to the tracking info, they were putting the arrangement together for 3 hours. It was not delivered. Called at 9 am when they open. Just a message no voicemail. 10am still no answer. Called the 877 number for help and kept getting tossed to the Southport location. Would not recommend this location.

This was such an embarrassing experience... I was trying to get a gift for someone's birthday which didn't show up.... I was called on a number that i've not had in years.. i don' t even know how they got that number.... however what i asked for wasn't even availble after i had paid for it... i also had to go and just pick it up myself....anyway... i know now...don't have to worry about me calling back... I even asked to make it really nice for my troubles.. .. oh well.. never again

A great place for gifts! I sent a bouquet to my BF for Valentine's Day and he loved it, as did everyone in his office. Instead of flowers, I always send Edible Arrangements. The fruit is unbelievably fresh and delicious. I always get called by the recipient with a huge thank you. Seriously, if you're in need of a gift and don't know what to send, send one of these. You'll be a hero.

The only reason I'm giving this store a 3 is because my valentines order never got delivered. My order I placed to replace my valentines order still didn't get delivered either. I reached out online through the Edible arrangements website through their message option and still haven't heard anything back. Valentine's Day was the 14th of February. Today is the 19th. So I decided to call the store and speak to someone. I talked to Erick today and he was very kind and listened and didn't have me on the phone for hours just to get my delivery out again. I appreciate Erick so much and thank you for being Honest and making things work.

This place is the worst. I placed 2 orders at the same time and I'm sorry I did. the first order wasn't received before 5:00 pm. I stayed until 5:30 just in case it came It never showed up. So I called the very next day I was given the run around and finally the order was delivered but in a unsatisfactory state. It smelled of cigarettes and the fruit wasn't fresh the chocolate was melting leaking on the plastic bag. This order was a nightmare. Now for the second order it was ordered from 9945 S Halsted. Its says delivered but It hasn't showed up yet. I called the corporate office. I want a full refund and I promise to never patronize them again. This is a terrible business The corporate office is poorly staffed no one there has any answers or solutions. Warning don't patronize this business you will be sorry.

I wish I would have checked yelp before I ordered from this location. I ordered an arrangement over a week in advance and thought it was strange that my friend didn't call to say thank you. At 6PM the driver calls ME saying he's trying to make the delivery..it's a business, which I indicated on my order. SO of course, no one is there and the driver tells me he will come back to deliver it at 10am the next morning. Totally acceptable...but he doesn't and NO ONE calls to tell me, so I call to ask at 12:30pm if the delivery is done and NOPE..still not there. I finally get a call from the manager telling me she can get it there later today. At this point, no thank you..can't imagine what the fruit looked like at that point anyway. Terrible customer service and unreliable. It's a shame because it's a great product.

My friend ordered me a large, expensive arrangement that was supposed to be delivered on Valentine's Day. Either they attempted to deliver it before I got home from work, or they never came. Today is 2/15 and I have still have not received my order and have been on hold for 45 minutes.

Very unprofessional, my husband placed an order to be delivered today it is 10:03 P.M. and it has not been delivered. He paid additional shipping to be delivered today and nothing. I will definitely be reporting this to BBB since I do see there are many other complaints about them that I wish I would've seen before even ordering from here. And of course they have not answered their phones all day and their mailbox is full.

I received a gift for valentine's day of a dozen strawberries. Placed them in the fridge and the next day the strawberries were molded. Never had that happen -- my boyfriend also told me the staff was understaffed and had issues with the substitute manager who refused to help (during valentine's day / the busiest day for them). Don't recommend at all.

Lots of fresh fruit dipped in chocolate delivered to my office? Yes please. My tummy is full, my spirit is happy, and my coworkers love me. What more could a girl want?

Maybe this location is OK on any day other than Valentine's Day, but I can't attest to that. My order for chocolate covered strawberries wasn't able to be delivered on Valentine's (even though the order was placed in time), so they said it would arrive the morning after. This is honestly not that big of a deal until you pair it with the fact that it actually didn't show up until the end of the day on the 15th, and the strawberries were so soggy, dark, and overripe that they aren't really edible.

The fruit was good and the arrangement was cute but I did not get what I ordered and there was no attempt to correct it. I paid extra to get some peanut butter bananas...I went full out for the 22$ option and asked if half could be the PB kind and half the chocolate kind. She said no problem and she would note it on the order. Well guess what? I only got the chocolate kind - even though what I really really wanted was the PB kind. When I called to asked about it I was told "thats what the order says" - no attempts to check into it or offering a credit or anything. After another location screwed up my boyfriends Valentines Day order - this will be the last time I spend money with this company.

Horrible Service Clybourne Ave store. Earlier this week, I ordered an arrangement to be delivered for Valentine's Day to my GF at her work. $142 including tax and delivery. I expected my GF and her staff to enjoy the fruit thru the day. It is now 5pm and the arrangement is still NOT delivered. I called the delivering store late morning. They were useless. They said it was out on the street and could not give any further info. I called them back this afternoon and get a constant busy signal. Called the Customer Service number. More useless people. They said if the arrangement is not delivered by 5 they will refund my money. My advice to future customers, order elsewhere. These people do not care about your business.

Absolutely horrible Service at the Mount Prospect, IL location. My husband purchased strawberries for Valentines Day and paid extra money for same day delivery. It never came. Their phones were off all that day and the website offered no updates. We finally got them to answer their phone the next day that afternoon for them to say they never filled in the order because they were too busy. The Palatine, IL store was supposed to do it but voided it instead. They sent it out the next day in a different box than the one advertised. They also refused to reimburse same day delivery charges to the card because they eventually delivered it.

I have to take a moment to thank Jim from Edible Arrangements. I am not sure if he owns this franchise, manages it or is an employee...but he is awesome. Yesterday, my employer had sent me an arrangement to support me and my family, as we were going through a very difficult situation. Well, Jim had dropped off my arrangement at home (not knowing when I'd return despite his efforts to reach me...which is a whole other issue because my work phone wasn't on) and needless to say, the arrangement went bad due me being gone for 12+hours. I was super excited when I saw them but couldn't eat them. I emailed the company and within 12 hours, Jim had called me and apologized profusely, as well as delivered a fresh (and larger) bunch to my mom's house in Park Ridge...definitely above and beyond. Thank you Jim! You are the best!

Absolutely horrible experience. I paid $120 for a birthday package to go absolutely down the drain. Ordered on March 31st in the morning for a birthday, and did not receive confirmation for a few hours. So I decided to call this location, on Clybourn Avenue, to which the employee told me "sorry the driver is out for the day". After explaining the my order was confirmed to be delivered that same day, he told me it would not be able to be ready until tomorrow. I offered to pick up the order myself, but was told that was not an option. I believe they never made the order in the first place. So come the next day, April 1st, the delivery driver called the recipient of the order and said "Hey this is Edible arrangements I have a package coming for you, be there shortly", which totally ruined the purpose of the birthday surprise. 5 minutes goes by and we call the delivery man because he was nowhere to be seen, and he says "I delivered your package to a man upstairs". Obviously my friend didn't receive her package, so I decided to call the store. I was given attitude by the owner, and he explained my package was still on the truck, it was just a misunderstanding, but the delivery man won't be there for another 2 hours. Keep in mind, the destination is 0.4 miles away from the store. OVERALL TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, DO NOT ORDER HERE. AMATEUR STAFF AND OWNERSHIP! IT WAS LIKE DEALING WITH DRUNKS! Would give this 0/5 stars if possible.

Where do I start, I gave them a shot last year for Valentine's Day. I placed the order online two days before the day and would you believe they NEVER delivered the arrangement. I called the following day no one picked up the phone until the afternoon. When I spoke to the manager he said the order was never downloaded and therefore the order was never sent out. He was apologetic and sent the order out (at a discount) the following day. Since the manager was courteous I thought I would give them a shot again this year. Boy was I wrong!!!! I placed the order online again the day before Valentine's Day (in the morning) and I called the store the morning of the day and the person I spoke with verified the order and said that it was in route. My wife never received the arrangement AGAIN! I called in the late afternoon and was on hold for an hour and no one ever picked up the phone. Then I receive a call at 6:45pm asking if they can deliver the arrangement to my home. When I told the delivery guy (who was calling from the store) that we live 35 miles away he said that he could deliver the arrangement tomorrow. Shame on you guys!!!! I gave you a second chance and you FAILED!!! I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN!!!!

Unbelievably the worst Valentine's day ever. The store computers went down and charged my husband's credit card twice and never delivered my arrangements. The phones rang endlessly trying to salvage the day and after speaking to corporate the order was gonna go out the day after due to the errors of the franchise. So after waiting at work all day still no delivery. Continued calls to corporate and false promises my day was officially ruin! Thanks Ruiz the manager for breaking my heart and ruining a special day! All the years and dollars spent with your company to have this experience is unimaginable. I wouldn't wish an experience like this on anyone. Business isn't conducted in such an unprofessional manner Lessons learned the hard way. Never will i support your business again if this is indicative of the treatment and services one recieves. Heart sitting heavy on what should have been a remarkable occasion.

Even though I ordered these the day before delivery and they were sent to a business, they were delivered after 5:30 pm AFTER the person to whom it was sent had left. Being a Friday, it was a waste of $140, and there was no compensation. While I did note that the order process online didn't guarantee a time, I assumed that it would be delivered during normal business hours, as in before 5pm! Very disappointed, will not use again.

If you're planning to order from Edible Arrangements my recommenation is that you pick it up yourself unless you or the person receiving the gift wants to sit around the house waiting all day. Terrible customer service! When I made an online inquiry about the status of my order I got zero response. And to to make matters worse, when I tried calling the store I got a busy signal for a half-hour. When I finally got through, they told me my order was ready, but they couldn't give me any indication on when it would be delivered. Simply ridiculous! What good is a gift delivery that comes at the very end of the day?

First off I understand it is Valentine's Day and it is really busy. I ordered a gift for my wife for Vday about 10 days before the 14th. On the 13rd she received it which ruined the surprise but to make matters worse the fruit had fallen off most of the sticks. Called the store and they came and picked it up and promised one on the 14th. The 14th came and went and my wife did not receive anything. At 7:45pm i received a call stating they were going to delivery. First off the business is closed and their policy states 5pm. I called today to see what happened and get my money back. What a hassle, they basically blamed me for having to make the arrangement twice and they delivered it twice. First off I didn't ask for them to deliver a day early and second they tried deliver the next day after hours. Finally they offered me my money but not the delivery charge, it wasn't like we made the mistake twice!! She said that the website states they could be delivered as late as 7pm and that she can't make that credit. I told her they tried delivering at 7:45, magically she could now make this credit happen. No real apology, no attempt to win my business. Last time I order from here.
