Nice ambience and decor in the restaurant, my chair was unfortunately a bit sticky on the edge which i felt when pulling chair forward (probably from the previous customer). I wanted to get the waitresses attention but they all seemed busy. Not a problem, I wiped the residue away with a wet wipe. The food which we had was beautifully presented and tasty. I loved the Scallop risotto.. So delicious. Unfortunately my son’s filet steak was well done rather than medium rare which he asked for. He didn't want to make a fuss and said it was fine so he kept it. He said it was still a good piece of meat. There were 2 different lemonaid sold out which i wanted, but the one I had was nice (lime). Despite the experience not being 100%, the quality of the food is what we were there for and we enjoyed it.

I think this is the best restaurant in Cornwall. It hits all the right notes. It is incredible value for money, the food is outstanding. The portion sizes are just right. The cocktails are beautiful and super delicious and the wine list is excellent. The menu changes with the seasons and is small but perfectly formed - so very cleverly worked out as there is always something for everyone. The staff are exceptional - so friendly and attentive and so very committed to ensuring your visit is perfect. Reservations are essential at weekends and especially in the summer. I’ll go again and again.

One of the best meals in a long time. Food was delicious. Outstanding service. Really looked after me for my birthday. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone I know visiting the area. Great value for money. Incredible food and incredible front of house.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely incredible dining experience at Edies! The food was beautifully presented and full of flavor from start to finish. The soup was rich and delicious, served with perfectly toasted bread and a lovely aioli. The vegetarian main was fresh, creative, and beautifully plated. But the highlight was the steak – honestly the best I’ve ever had. Cooked to perfection, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and paired with a stunning sauce and crispy chips. Every bite was amazing. Service was friendly and professional, and the atmosphere was relaxed but refined. A real gem of a place — I’ll definitely be back!

Had a lovely lunch at Edie’s, fantastic value set menu, food was delicious, service very good and attentive, fab drinks. Recommend and would love to return if we are in the area again.

We love this place... We come here every time we are down to the St Austell region of Cornwall.... The food is above amazing thanks to Nigel, the staff Kelly, Edie & Tia plus the rest of the crew make your night wonderful, the best food, the best cocktails, the best FOH team & always a great atmosphere.... If we lived closer we would probs move in... If you want a fabulous night of food, drinks & service then I would definitely... No insist that you come here...nothing compares

My partner and I took Nan here and had the most unforgettable meal. Food 11/10. Atmosphere 11/10. Service 11/10. Everything was perfect. We even had the pure pleasure of being seated next to the kitchen and had a front row seat to watch the chefs work their magic. Every dish was incredible. All the flavours were exquisite and there was not a single dish that was lacking in any way. Even though we were completely stuffed after our starters and mains, we still ordered dessert simply because we didn’t want to miss out on anything. This place is truly spectacular, and you’d be a fool not to try and come here. Special thanks to our waitress Tye (sorry if I spelt it wrong), you were an absolute legend and played a huge part in making it the greatest dinner the three of us have shared together. We can’t wait to come back one day in the future
