All types of bbq proteins were excellent, side items each had their own flare, food was 10/10 for quality and flavor profile for fast bbq counter service! Definitively recommend. If you love habanero heat the Nashville hot bbq sauce was killer !! Atmosphere is open family sports bar, easy in and out, outdoor seating as well with, easy access and in a beautiful brick building.

It's the best BBQ I've had. Hands down, I'll return again. Sides too were also great! Beans, banana pudding, cheesy grits, mac N cheese... not one disappointed. Ribs were fall-off-the-bone delicious. Brisket was great. Atmosphere, cozy. Service was...adequate, slow maybe. But, the food was so good and the atmosphere was so nice, it had to get 5 stars from me. You walk in, and the place smells so good!

The area is a little crowded, so I assumed it’d be for a good reason. First impression? Food is fine, not impressed with portions at all. My friend and I spent around $80 for two plates and drinks. Our “premium” side of mac n’ cheese (that was an upcharge and around $4) came in what seemed to be sauce containers. The amount we were served was laughable compared to the price. The food, as I said, was fine, so that really sums up the entire experience— fine. Nothing special and nothing worthy of that amount of money. Mission BBQ would’ve been half that price. There are other better options!

Went here for dinner with my family before heading back home (out of town), and I must say it’s the best BBQ spot I’ve ever been to. The brisket is phenomenal, but you really can’t go wrong with anything you order. I was a bit nervous at first but Malik at the counter was so kind and helpful to not only me, but my whole family.. and that’s not something you find often. Oh, and the banana pudding is amazing !!

Edley's catered our wedding at Waterhouse Pavilion and we couldn't be happier with the food and service they provided! They arrived on time, set up quickly and efficiently, and had more the enough food to keep our 110 guests satisfied. The catering team was also very easy to communicate with throughout the process.

The food here is always good, never have a hard time finding an option! The staff is friendly and the plates are fast and hot! Always will recommend this place to any friends and family!

We got two meals, the bbq tips and a pulled chicken sandwich. The bbq tips were Smokey flavored and great over the grits. The pulled chicken was a bit bland but splash some more of the sauce on the table and it made it better. The Mac and cheese side was great. Corn bread was good as well. However the “icing on the cake” was the Banana Pudding!!! The best banana pudding I have ever had!! Would highly recommend that as a side to anyone. I would die for it.

Great food, Nice Staff, Great Ambiences. Enjoyed free Banana Pudding, best ever. I would like to visit again and again whenever in Chattanooga. Bartender was awesome. Great drink suggested as his favourite. Really good!!

A definite stop if you are a BBQ lover. Very traditional Tennessee bbq and yummy old-fashioned sides. Great service as well.

Excellent food, very friendly staff. Everything we tried was delicious. Highly recommend the wings. We tried both barbecue and dry run and personally the dry rub gets my vote. Fun sports bar type atmosphere. This place is loud and busy so kiddos will be drowned out but business conversations might as well. Best for casual dining and families.

Set in an old "warehouse district" this place did not dissapoint. Place your orders at the counter & then they will bring it out. 4 of us shared a "sampler" with 3 meats & sides. Pulled Pork, Sliced Brisket & chicken. (out of ribs....we came in late) Sides of potato salad(excellent), bean salad(excellent), mac&cheese(excellent) & grits(3/4 of us loved those) (a side of burnt ends was had for dessert)

What a great experience from ordering at the window with great customer service to selecting in choosing sides to each meal. You have to try the banana pudding as it almost felt like eating fluff. Top three best banana puddings I've ever had. The food was great. You could smell the barbecue from blocks away. And it just felt like a great barbecue experience great for kids on the outdoors where they have a little kid area to play in tiny houses. Can't wait to go back.

My friend and I came here the other day for the first time as we were visiting the area. It's very casual, you order at the counter, pay, then they bring the food to you. We got complimentary banana pudding since it was our first time there. I got the brisket & pulled pork combo w/mac & cheese and baked beans. It comes w/cornbread. The meat portions were massive! I don't know why the pulled pork was shredded so small. It was like someone chewed it already. The brisket was a little dry. The mac & cheese wasn't good. Baked beans had a little spice kick which was good. My friend's ribs were very tender, falling off the bone. About $25-30 for each plate. Good service and friendly staff.

Came for snacks late in the afternoon- got rhe pork nachos on chips, fried pickles and a dozen wings. All were delicious! We got the wings dry rub with hot sauce on the side- the dry rub was delicious!

Meager words can't do Edley's ribs justice. Perhaps the best I ever had, they were beautifully smoked and fall-off-the-bone tender. Too tender! A delicious morsel fell off and ruined my shirt! Sauce was delicious and enhanced, rather than detracted from the succulent ribs. I may move to Chattanooga to be closer... I think they owe me a shirt, however. :)

The BBQ here is absolutely amazing! The meat was tender, smoky, and full of flavor, and the sauces were the perfect complement. The sides were just as delicious--especially the mac and cheese and cornbread. The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the whole place had a great, laid-back vibe. If you love good BBQ, you've got to try this spot. Highly recommend!

This place hits all the marks. Best BBQ we've had in Chatt, everyone was so very polite and welcoming, it was a great experience. Brisket sandwich is a must have, so tender and hardly any fat, the BBQ sauce is amazing as well. There's a good spot for kids and they have pic nic tables out under the covered patio, plenty of room for big or small parties. I definitely recommended this place and will be back!!

I tried to find some authentic yummy barbecue and heard about this place but was a little underwhelmed by the food overall. The atmosphere is very cute, they have a terrace seating area with screening to prevent bugs and heat lamps, very comfortable. Inside the atmosphere is log cabin-y, a little dark but fits the theme. I asked the bartender his favorite dish and he said the brisket tacos. I almost ordered this but asked the girl taking our order if that or the ribs was better and per her recommendation i had the half slab. My friend ordered the brisket tacos and said they were underwhelming, my ribs were also nothing to write home about; not very "fall off the bone" Tennessee bbq expectations. Fried pickles also really disappointing, but the place is cute and my friend liked his brisket platter

Brisket was chewy. Pork was okay. Portions smaller than you'd expect for a barbecue place. There must be a reason I've never heard of Nashville style barbecue. Environment was cool. Workers were cool too.

I was visiting from out of state and stopped by with my small service dog, asking to be seated outside. What I believe was the manager greeted me with an unfriendly attitude and told me I had to order at the outside bar. I wasn't even allowed to sit at an outdoor table to place my order. As I started walking through to the outside bar, he told me I needed to back out and couldn't take a few steps inside to get there. It felt unnecessarily rude and lacking any basic courtesy--definitely no southern hospitality here. When I finally placed my order, I asked for the brisket and was told they were out. I tried another beef option--also out. I asked if they were out of all beef, and the server said yes, only pork and chicken were available. I settled for a chicken sandwich, which was extremely plain and didn't come with any sides. Between the poor attitude, lack of warmth, and being so understocked, I left disappointed. This place could really use a reminder of what hospitality looks like--and how to be better prepared for customers.

It was peach week, and when you live in this part of the country, right on the Georgia border for all practical purposes, if it involves peaches in the summer, you give it a try. I chose to sit at the bar to make it easy for me, a good choice as my service was great. I selected the pulled pork sandwich which was complemented by smoked, sliced peaches, what a wonderful complementary flavor to that pulled pork. For my sides I went with the bbq beans, another great choice and the potato salad. I thoroughly enjoyed the smoke and the addition of the kidney bean to the bbq mix. Topped it off with a cold local draft, and I was good to go!

Great place !!! The ribs & the brisket melted !! Side dish, green beans got so much flavor, corn bread and the chicken tacos ! I mean overall excellent meal for first of the year. Service fast and the place was awesome in my opinion! Good vibes definitely check it out if you out of town but for me I might be a local here ;)

No AC....if it worked, we couldn't tell. Got the brisket sandwich and the wife got ribs, Mac n cheese and green beans. My brisket was not tender at all. No good bark on it. My wife said her ribs were not fall off the bone. She said they were to tough. I was up half the night sick as hell. Another No good bbq joint in Chattanooga.

The food is excellent!! But the patio was pretty rough when we were there. If you're coming here for the play houses for kids, it almost isn't worth it. The patio has open containers for old plates and food to be left which just attracts flies even more than a normal outdoor dining experience! They were everywhere and it was kinda unsightly to look at the old food and dishes sitting out too. It just wasn't all that clean out there which made the experience not very enjoyable. We stopped because we had heard the patio was a great place with little ones. We would eat again because the food was great, but we definitely wouldn't be eating out on the patio.

I came here for dinner with the Costco gift cards. WOW! And they give a generous military discount. I had the Smoker Sampler. They give an ample portion and all the meat was on point. It did get packed and I didn't have to wonder why! Compared to Smokey Bones, why would people even bother going there? For real! All the sides were delicious as well. I will definitely come back if I have a chance!

We can't stop thinking about Edley's!!! Such a great spot, we stopped in for lunch (counter serve) and really enjoyed the Hot Chicken Platter (Sides: Cornbread, Fries, Coleslaw) and Pork Sandwich! The hot chicken had a delicious herby sauce on it - it had a great kick and really surprised us! SO good! The cornbread was unique and yummy, the fries were well seasoned, and they even had 2 different BBQ sauces to dip with! The coleslaw was vinegar based, very good! The pulled pork sandwich had yummy bread and the pork was tender and delicious! Loved it. We ate outside on their fun deck - with fans, music, and TVs.

After looking for food in the Chattanooga area, we couldn't help but to be directed to Edley's. BBQ was the theme for the night and according to the socials this was the place to be. It has a fast food atmosphere with restaurant quality eats. I fancied a half rack of ribs which definitely hit a couple of spots in the old tummy! And just to let you know that hospitality is their forte, they treated us to a free serving of Banana Pudding. My company (the wife) decided on the Smoked wings. They were very tender and sweet to eat as the ribs were as well. Overall, nice place to eat for a family outing or just two. It has a very versatile atmosphere which warrants local acclaim. Stop by and try if you are looking for a nice barbecue spot.

This place absolutely HIT. Their servings are extremely generous and sooo tasty. They were out of cornbread when we went, but they let us get a third side instead, which was a steal. I love that you can get banana pudding as one of your sides! The potato salad is to die for and has giant chunks of bacon in it. I liked the coleslaw as well, but it was a bit oddly sweet for me. The pork was juicy, tender, and perfectly cooked. Their barbecue sauce could not be better. Our food came out hot and quick, and seemed like it was reasonably priced for how much food we got. Even though the sides look petite, they pack a lot into those little cups. There was ample seating both inside and outside. I left stuffed and happy! I definitely recommend this place - 10/10!!

Edleys in Chattanooga is always the best. The service is very kind and attentive. They have great green beans and bean salad! I get the bbq fries and it hits all the cravings with the cheesy, spicy and savory pico. Highly recommend

The ribs, Cole slaw and beans my husband had were excellent. I had the smoked pulled chicken sandwich with slaw and it was excellent as well. I loved the toasted bun. Really great food and service. We sat outside on the huge deck and really enjoyed it. We've been to the Nashville Edley's and it was great as well.

Two words. Grits Casserole. I would come back just for that dish, it was so good!! The BBQ was also very delicious but the sides always have my heart. My husband and I stopped in on a Friday night. It was busy but we were able to grab a seat outside. We ordered the burnt ends atop the grits casserole+ banana pudding (& cornbread!) & the brisket sandwich w/ Mac & cheese + grits casserole. We were not disappointed with any of it but seriously could not get enough of the casserole. This is some good bbq! Highly recommend.

this place has thee best bbq I've ever tasted. I'm from NY and this place was highly suggested by someone that lives here. the turkey was cooked to perfection, cornbread was moist with jalapeñ and the fries were seasoned just right. this place is a deff must eat specifically in Chattanooga TN

They know their smoke and they go above and beyond in service. Even though you order at the counter they are around asking you if all is well. Great food and service. The ambiance is your standard rustic BBQ but has a large amount of seating inside and out with large screens everywhere as well.

We love visiting Chattanooga, so after our day at one of the local attractions, we went in search of some BBQ. Honestly, this was the 3rd BBQ restaurant we visited. Our goal was to find a place that had a big dining room where we could sit comfortably. The first two restaurants we visited were take out, and since we were 2 hours away from home, we wanted to go to a place that had adequate seating. When we pulled into the parking lot at Edley's, we knew we found the right spot (3rd time's the charm, right?). Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a worker who I assume was a bartender, and I assume that she also hands out the to-go orders. She informed us how the ordering process and seating works. I thought that was nice since this was our first time here, and we had no idea what to do. So, you place and pay for your order at a window further into the restaurant. They give you a number to place on your table, and you can sit anywhere you want. Then the workers will bring your food to the table. The atmosphere here was fun and relaxed. There were flags hanging from the ceiling representing each branch of the military. There was other decor in the restaurant as well. There were TVs around the restaurant that showed various sporting events. The music that played in the background was a combination of country, and rhythm & blues. It took about 10-15 minutes before our food was brought to the table. I ordered the BBQ Pork Platter with Mac and cheese, and potato salad. The platters also come with a jalapeno cornbread. The pork was tender and delicious. It just needed more BBQ sauce. Luckily, there was BBQ sauce on every table, so I was able to add more. The Mac and cheese had some kind of crunchy crumble on top that added texture to the rich creaminess of the macaroni and cheese. The potato salad was a huge surprise to me because I don't like everybody's potato salad, yet I like to try different variations, and pray that I like it. This potato salad was delicious! The only thing it was missing was just a tad more salt. That was my only complaint about the potato salad. I'm not a big fan of the jalapeno cornbread. I would prefer my cornbread to be without the peppers, but it was ok. A very friendly manager, I assume, came to our table to check on us, and he made us feel even more at home. I think his name is Brett, but I could be wrong. What I'm not wrong about is we found our BBQ spot whenever we visit Chattanooga! The experience at Edley's was just that good!

Fantastic experience and will return the next time we visit Chattanooga. The chopped pork plate with baked beans and mac and cheese were absolutely delicious, and the cornbread was surprisingly delicious (it looked like Texas toast at first glance). We also were greeted and chatted up by one of the guys working there, so the personal touch topped off the visit. My son also raved about the banana pudding. Loved the down home feel.

The food was great! The beer was cold. The best part was they had like five random little tyke playhouses in a corner of the deck that kept the kids amused the whole time! It's the little things:)

A friend recommended this spot to visit while in Tennessee and it was awesome! Tons of people, yet we were able to get to the front of the line quickly. Our food came out without too long of a wait. The staff was super attentive and very friendly. I ordered the catfish platter which came with cornbread and a lump of coleslaw. The coleslaw is made with vinegar and was decent (I prefer mayo base) & the cornbread was thick and delicious. I got two sides with my meal and I chose potato salad and collard greens. The sides were perfection! The catfish was crispy and there were so many pieces I actually ended up taking a lot home. My husband got the burnt ends. They were cooked perfectly and the bbq sauce they were smothered in was fantastic. He also got a piece of cornbread and two sides. He chose the Mac-n-cheese and the grit casserole. Mac had great flavor but was a little dry for my taste, I usually prefer creamy Mac, but nonetheless it was good. The grit casserole was on point. Overall, I would come back over and over if we lived here. We were truly impressed and definitely recommend stopping in and trying this place out!!!

Hey there! This BBQ joint is one of my favorites and is an out of town destination. My first experience was in the Nashville location. I discovered they served Bushwackers at the bar. Oh Boy! I was delighted. The last time I had a great Bushwacker was in Jost Van Dyke. This really took me back! When you enter, walk all the way back thru the restaurant to order your food first. Then grab soft drinks. Or go to the bar to get bushwackers or any other libation. Edley's has a full bar, plenty of seating and a huge outdoor patio. This time around we had brisket, chicken, collards, grit casserole, fries and cornbread. I think my sandwich was called the Tuck. It had a fried egg on top. It was very good. I look forward to my next visit and a Bushwacker.

I love Edleys! The pork platter is always a hit, the service is stellar and such a friendly staff, and it's just a good experience. We really like the nachos and pork platter and the greens are amazing. Very family friendly and great to watch a game. Highly recommend! Ask for Nicole at the bar, great bartender!

I was hungry so I elected to try Edley's as I was visiting town for work. It was right next door and rather than search for something all over the city I just returned and ordered some catfish as takeout. It was good and had a spice kick. Very hot, fresh and generous portions. Cole slaw was interesting. That's the best way to describe it. It's a dry coleslaw. I'm not sure still how I feel about the slaw. Lol I also got banana pudding. Very good. But, kind of a paste like consistency. More like a custard. Service was fast and online ordering was easy. The parking lot is a nightmare though. This area must be the "trendy" place to go in town. It's one of those areas they have "renewed". You know.. took old warehouses and buildings and repurposed them or tore them down to make it a place that the new hipsters or 2022 version of the nineties yuppies like to frequent. I'd recommend this place.

Our absolute favorite restaurant when we come to Chattanooga! Third time here and NEVER DISAPPOINTED! We live near Atlanta but love to eat here when we can ! Fun atmosphere, porch dining, play area for kiddos and pet friendly outside ! Delicious food ! Today we got the fries Nachos and it was so big that me and my hubby shared and we were both stuffed !

I first enjoyed eating at Edley's Bar-B-Que in Nashville, TN and then I ended up eating at several more of their locations in Nashville as they expanded. I was in Chattanooga, TN and was immediately drawn to the Edley's Bar-B-Que sign and did a quick Google search to confirm that Edley's had expanded into Chattanooga so it seemed like a good time to sample the Chattanooga location as BBQ is ALWAYS a great idea! Edley's BBQ I would say in my experience is some of the best BBQ to be found around Chattanooga but my experience with Chattanooga BBQ is limited so if you know of better beef BBQ let me know! Edley's BBQ is located on the Northshore of the Tennessee River in Chattanooga, TN. So far out of what I've sampled this is some of the top food Chattanooga restaurants offer in the BBQ category and as far as BBQ in general this is one of the best places to eat BBQ in the entire state of Tennessee that I've had so far. I am the General Manager at Woof Gang a couple doors down. I eat here 3-5 times a week. Malik always gets me taken care of. He has absolutely phenomenal customer service! The food is ALWAYS fresh and tasty. The prices are fair and their sweet tea is AMAZING!
