My wife and I go to their Sylvan Park location often and I've left several 5 star reviews. I realize this one hasn't been open very long, but neither had the one at Sylvan Park the first time there. This location needs some serious work, and reading other reviews, apparently I'm not alone. A friend of mine who lives in Gallatin wanted me to come up and meet him there for lunch today. I ordered burnt ends (brisket), baked beans, mac & cheese, and a beverage (the burnt ends are supposed to be on grits, but they were out of grits so I was asked to choose another side). My guest ordered the half chicken, potato salad, baked beans, and a drink. When we sat down, I realized the gentleman that took our order never gave me a glass for my beverage. When the food arrived, we both said, near simultaneously, the baked beans are cold! Unlike the Sylvan Park location, where you're given a cellophane wrapped knife, fork, and spoon, here they bring you a fork. My guest commented, how am I supposed to eat this half chicken with a flimsy plastic pork? I went to the kitchen area and asked one of the employees to let the kitchen know the beans are coming out cold. She was very nice about it, and asked if I would like something else. I told her I'd like some hot baked beans. Apparently that wasn't an option, so I chose another side. The worst part of the meal, and good reason I should probably leave a 1 star review vs. 2, was the burnt ends. They were cut into tiny cubes, and half of them were 100% fat. Inedible. Beautiful facility, and while I go up there and have lunch with my buddy often, no reason to ever return here, unless they get their ducks in a row.
