Google
A great place to stop to grab some delicious Edmunds Oast beers. Easy parking, a great selection of beers on tap, and a solid and always changing choice of beers in the fridge and on the shelves. Service is always great, and samples are always happily provided from the tap selection. Crowlers are reasonably priced, and I've had nothing but good things to say about pretty much all their beers. I'm a massive fan of their sours!

Glad we got to pop in to the brand new @eoexchange for our #souvenirs before we left #Charleston #roadtrip #vacay #gorgeous #location #beer #wine wish I had taken some of their beers in a growler but I had a long drive ahead. Picked up some local stouts, nice bubbles and coconut vinegar. Grab the spices/condiments sold by the chef.

I can't even begin to describe what a great time I had here. The inside of he Exchange is clean and beautiful. The beer and wine selection is absolutely incredible. On top of that, our bartender was beyond awesome. Katie made our entire time there very entertaining. Katie "Christ", if you're reading this...you are awesome!

Love this place. Great selection of bottles and draft beer. Seating inside and outside.

Google
Absolutely incredible selection at this place. Beats Total Wine and Bottles hands down. My office gets pony kegs from Edmunds Oast Exchange for our taps. It's relatively pricey, but again the selection is unmatched. We held a meeting upstairs in a tasting room one time, and the staff treated us like high profile clients at an exclusive restaurant.

Good beer and good food. The shrimp toast is a must every time I go!

Fun spot for a quick bite, a refreshing beverage, or both. Don't sleep on that sandwich menu, either. That Italian Sub got next.

Google
Best bottle shop for beer or wine in the area. I was excited to see the improved Charleston Beer Exchange in their new setting and was not disappointed. The shiny new spot has a selection of beer and wine that caters to local favorites with some options that may not be found in grocery stores. The store is nicely arranged by beer style for easy access. I did not come across any whales this visit but was excited to see an extensive list of beers available for crowler or growler fill. The compound also host a restaurant which we didn't try but could be a convenient multitask if the desire arises.

Yelp
Visited for their Thursday Wine tasting. Everyone was very nice and helpful from the time we walked in the door. This was our 1st time there, and we felt very welcomed. Loved the wooden cabin feel that exchange has. They have beer and drafts downstairs and wine upstairs. We bought a glass of their House Rosé and had the tasting of 4 wines. 1 white wine, 2 Rosé wines, and 1 Red wine.

Yelp
Edmund's Oast is a great place to drop in for a wine tasting! It's beautifully designed, a relaxing atmosphere, and wine surrounding you on each side. Our server gives information about each wine of the day that includes the region it's from, who created it, and what it pairs well with. Downstairs holds various items you can purchase from candles, lotion, books, and unique treats. It's definitely a place I'll be frequenting more this summer.

Yelp
Chill setting with a nice crosswind and plenty of shade on the patio. The wait to order at the bar was reasonable. The bartender was great and brought our drink to us as there was an issue making it right away (something had just run out). The food looked SO GOOD and my liver appetizer tasted AMAZING. The curly fries was the best I've had in recent memory, and the baked alaska dessert was beautiful and yummy... I loved the use of peaches and the fluffy meringue. My husband said the po boy wasn't a real po boy but it was nevertheless good and looked amazing. I usually hate places where I have to get my own water, but this place is so good I'll deal with it... but they need to add a self-serve ice machine... the cold water doesn't stay cold for long in our hot Charleston summer heat. 100% recommended and can't wait to return.

Yelp
This place is confusing because we thought we were going to the actual brewery but I'm glad we ran into this place. This is more of the retail side. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I bought a few things-all local. The store is small but quaint. Cute place to come to!

Yelp
This is pretty much the "store" part of the Edmund's Oast family of locations. You can purchase various wines and beers from very high end to more normal, every day type options. It's not very convenient for me in this location, but at least there is some parking. EOX has been providing educational sessions with tastings that are fun and informative. The ones that I have seen run about $30 per person and you taste maybe 5-6 different offerings. They hold these sessions upstairs and it is limited so you need to get your tickets right away if interested. Sign up for the emails so you can join an event, and keep up with things as they change. We did a champagne session recently and it was a lot of fun. I believe there were about eight of us and we sat at a bar surrounded by walls full of bottles grouped by type/region. She provided us with written materials and it was an interactive session so we could ask questions, too. There is an open staircase leading upstairs and everything is solid wood. It's really a gorgeous yet small setting. The cashier is downstairs at the main entrance. It's great for stopping in before a meal next door at the restaurant or if you're looking for something new to try. They all seem very knowledgeable and helpful, and will assist you with something in your price range. I will definitely be back for another tasting seminar in the coming months. Prost!

Yelp
Ah the hidden gem of the Edmunds Oast restaurants. I really enjoy popping in here for a beverage especially during happy hour. HH is 5 dollar Edmunds beers and I believe 6 dollar wine. They also have great snacks like a mini burger, pimento cheese, fries and such. Perfect small plates. The woodwork and decor are mesmerizing and are a good distraction if your tables current conversation is uninteresting. For seating, they have a few tables upstairs, downstairs and outside with a bonus couch area downstairs. The staff is all smiles and super friendly. To make room for more tables, they did reduce their beer can selection mainly to some local 6 packs. Bonus the sea salt Nutella choc chip cookies at checkout are top notch and only 2 bucks!

Yelp
We stopped by with some friends when visiting Charleston to pick up some wine. I loved the interior of this place. It was covered with wood and smelled amazing. There's a small bar downstairs and a decent collection of beer. Upstairs there is a large selection of wine. They were incredibly friendly and helped our friends decide which bottle they should get for their taste. Come here for a good wine selection and great service!

Yelp
I popped in here tonight quickly before I met some friends at the restaurant next door for dinner. It was so cute! It was all wood and just had a lovely feel to it. Right when I walked in I was offered assistance. I walked around and saw that they had the beers on the first floor. There was also a tasting section and even growlers where you could buy the beers that were on tap at the restaurant/brewery next door. Once upstairs there are a collection of wines. They are still in their opening week (7/16/17) and they will be having events this weekend. The one last even mentioned that once they get past their first few weeks, they will be hosting regular weekly tastings. I would definitely come back for a tasting once those are up and running!

Yelp
Little wine & beer shop by Edmunds Oast Brewery where you can purchase to go or stay for a few drinks. They also do growler and Crowler fills here, you just need to bring your own growler as they don't sell them there. We had some of the best beer in Charleston while we were here and stopped by the next day for a growler fill of the Raspberry Peanut Butter Porter (tastes like a jelly ring!) and a Crowler of the Squeeze (think Sunny D!). I also had a glass of the peanut butter and jelly which is an amber, loved this! Especially because peanut butter and jelly beers are usually on the dark side so it was good to try aa different version of it. They have different beers on tap than the brewery itself so I highly recommend stopping by, especially during happy hour when all beers are just $5!

Yelp
Wide open and wood lined. Beer downstairs and wine above. 100's of bottles, both shelved and in the cooler with a crowler/pour station. Attached to the Edmunds Oast restaurant.

Yelp
I truly hope they find a way to keep the smell of fresh, new wood as this place grows and ages. The space is definitely located in the right area, with Butcher&Bee just a few steps away in Hipster Heaven. The parking is easier and more available than in the Charleston Beer Exchange's last location (big pro!) and the staff is happy and welcoming, ready to answer just about any question you may have. Just try to take it easy on them -- that really good beer you had two years ago in a green can, that may have been from North Carolina or was it Northern California? probably isn't something they would be able to identify. Helpful hint: you can break up the 4- and 6-packs into individuals!

Yelp
Stopped in by accident. I thought this place was their brewery. I was pleasantly surprised at the variety of beer and wine they have. Also they have their name sake's brews on tap. We were lucky enough to show up right at happy hour. (3PM) 3$ 12 oz pours for the EO beers is not a bad deal at all. We only had one just cause we headed to their actual brewery. I'd go check it out if you want amazing beer and wine selections. I'd also try and get a seat in one of their tasting classes. They were having one upstairs and it sounded very interesting. The only critique I would offer up is their bottle selection was a little up their in price, but I bet the supply isn't that abundant so it makes sense.

Yelp
Great wine! Everything was great, until I got my happy hour order. Food comes from Edmonds Oast I think. I ordered the pimento cheese with toast. The pimento cheese has a heck of a punch and that was okay, but burned bread? Burned black or blackened bread?? No, and in the manager's defense, it was comped. But I wanted a nice cheese or something with my wine.

Yelp
I am a repeat customer at the other two locations but this was my first time at Edmund's Oast Exchange. A friend and I went for a happy hour with $10 glasses of champagne and live jazz. We sat at the tiny little bar upstairs. I arrived after my friend already ordered a cava and a $4 appetizer. The place is really an extremely well lighted wine and beer shop that you can drink in. On a Friday night at 5:30 you would think they would turn the lights down just a little bit, but no. After one glass of champagne, I was ready for a second one and something to eat but the bartender was busy talking to other patrons about their mutual love for their Minis and evidently forgot she was supposed to be working. I got up and left. The place is simply not my cup of tea.

Yelp
Beer tastings are weekly and it's the perfect thing to do after work. The $5 cover always goes to a local non profit. Party with a purpose

Yelp
Free beer samples!!! They had fun flavors like honey oolong and pb&j. If you're more thirsty than just a sample, they have happy hours and daily specials that are very reasonably priced. Walking distance from Lewis bbq and hometeam bbq.

Yelp
TLDR: If you're looking for a spot with an excellent selection of craft beer and wine, I would highly recommend starting with EOX. While Charleston is known for a lot of good things, you need to check out it's impressive craft beer scene. There's a good amount of competition for the top brewery in Charleston, but Edmund's Oast can make a case for one of the best. EOX, which is located right next to the brewpub, is definitely one of the better bottle shops I've been to and it boasts a great selection of beer. If for some reason you won't even try the amazing beer EOX has on tap or don't pick up one of the many amazing bottles on sale, you can always check out the second floor, which is full of many different wine selections. In case you have a growler, you can always get some draft EO beer to go Last time I was at EOX, there were 9 offerings, and included sours, IPAs, mild ales, and stouts. You can always sample or buy a pint to drink with you while you shop around for beer to bring home. I really don't think you can go wrong with any of the beers from EO, but I recommend: - Lord Proprietor's Mild (English mild ale) - Enchantment Under the Sea (IPA) - Sour Blackberry Raspberry (sour ale) - Bound by Time (IPA) - Viridex Rex (Double IPA) - Bird of Paradise (IPA) - Peanut Butter & Jelly (Fruit beer - definitely a must try) Of course, EOX has a wide selection of beers from around Charleston and from pretty much around the world. It's definitely worth your time to browse the shelves, and if you're a craft beer nerd looking for some more rare stuff, EOX has a really nice selection. As someone who is not from Charleston, I feel like EOX will be a must for me every time to sample EO beers and bring some home.

Yelp
Stopped by recently and they've sadly pared down their beer selection significantly. They still have a huge selection of wine upstairs and it's the best place to go to get any Edmund's Oast Brews, but they've gutted their local and regional craft brew inventory and seem to have completely nixed their international selection. Sad day...

Yelp
So happy this awesome spot arrived. The scene is cool and low key in a beautiful space. They've also added a great little patio area which is perfect for an outdoor drink on a nice day. Great wine selections and snacks. AMAZING jazz / bubbles happy hour on Friday. Sarah is great and super knowledgeable about wine! The place is a winner for sure.
