A nice outside spot. You can get food next to the little grass area, which is very enjoyable. I came for a quick lunch and got the breakfast burrito. I liked the idea of having some goat cheese inside. And, the taste was present and tasty. However, I don’t know if they thought about putting small tomatoes that are getting warmed up because you will unfortunately burn your mouth with the tomato juice. That was the only bad thing about it…

Google
I go here for the AMAZING croissants. So authentic - not oversized, crisp on the outside, soft on the inside; the lattes are good too. And it has a nice outdoor seating area.

i loved this place, loved the environment, the servers were so nice and the food was amazing! perfect lunch place to hang out. burger was 10/10😁😁

Google
Service was great the girls were attentive altho I told the waitress in gluten free and she brought me bread. Overpriced salad $16.95 and the broccoli soup tasted like bland baby food . I was walking after work and loved the outside seating but i was very disappointed with the food. It look fresh but bland and overpriced when there are better options across the street

I am currently eating a delicious panini. The counter service was fine. The employees are not wearing gloves, but I trust that they have washed their hands. Everything tastes fresh and delicious. I will report later how I feel, but the place seems incredibly clean. It’s later. (2 days later). I just wanted to report that I felt completely fine - no stomach distress like the other reviewer reported. I’ll certainly be back and would highly recommend this place (especially the roasted vegetable panini) to others.

Google
Place is ok. But $18 for an avocado toast with 1 poached egg seemed a bit over the top. I ordered anyways thinking it would be something incredible but is just an ordinary avocado toast not fresh avocados. Definitely not worth it

When traveling I always order a salad with a piece of fish, most often salmon, either on or off menu. In LA this place was the best, fresh salad, just made and the salmon cooked perfect and seasoned well, loved this experience, sitting outside, band playing. friends, and a nice piece of fish with salad. I wouldn’t ask for more, thanks

Amazing little caffe with BIG love & flavor small bites. Amazing owner chef Edwardo Baldi, brings real Italy feel into each and everyone his super tasty baked goods(Italian small filled donuts are just the right size, and taste so good(forget about what you think you know about donuts till you try these!), croissants are best in town in my self Mediterranean's opinion;-) we didn't even get to the lunch items, from authentic Italian eggplant parmigiana to pasta to great fish tacos in lettuce wraps, small Italian style baguettes with my favorite , the Caprese, made fresh with the tastiest mozzarella cheese (Imported from Italy WEEKLY!), Pair any of the above with coffee & Espresso drinks (they are using Lavazza coffee which is one of the best Italian espresso Caffe companies). Highly recommend!

Yelp
Edo Bites is nestled in the center of Pacific Palisades Village. There's limited seating and mostly all outdoors. While our wait staff was very friendly, the food was a bit slow to come out, so be prepared. We sampled a few breakfast and lunch items. The Chopped Salad is one of their signature salads with tons of greens! The avocado and aioli dressing are great, although it might be missing something with a bite to it (maybe salt or apple cider vinegar). Either way, it's very refreshing. The tomatoes in the breakfast burrito are fabulously sweet and juicy, and combined with chèvre cheese (aka goat cheese), this dish packs a lot of flavor. The avocado toast is similar. We added two poached eggs and were happy with the result.

Yelp
We got some coffee and pastries here. The girl that works here seemed a bit flustered. There was no line and yet was a bit all over the place. My chai tea had no flavor to it. My daughter had a muffin which was supposedly warmed up, and was not. It was very cold. I was a bit dissatisfied so I wouldn't return here .

Yelp
Literally the best croissant I have ever had in the US. I grew up in Milan and Brussels and have lived in Paris.

Yelp
The worst food I've had in years. No love in this food. Sterile food. The meat balls tasted like dog food, beyond over cooked. The pasta had so much salt it was inedible. And the sauce it self was gross. The kitchen smelled like the inside of a greasy food truck.

Yelp
The service at the check out in my opinion needs major improvement. I went to buy sauce today and stood there while the counter check out person made lattes telling me I will help you after this 1 latte was completed. Five lattes later I was still standing there. She could care less that I was a customer and basically just brushed me off. Also, I've eaten here before and the muffins are not good. The flavors are off to me. I do not recommend. Disappointing.

Yelp
THIS IS LITERALLY MY ALL TIME FAVORITE RESTAURANT!!! The food is incredible. Their fusilli with creamy tomato sauce is so good, well cooked, and flavorful. The service is amazing, and they're all so nice and helpful and recommended the best things to me. The strawberry lemonade was perfectly sour and sweet and was so worth the drive their. It is the cutest setting and is a very comfortable vibe. 10/10 recommend MUST TRY right now! 10000000/10 YAY!

Yelp
TLDR: 4.5/5 Super cute, good quality food and really great hospitality A friend and I popped by here and decided to sit down and eat because we were starving. I'm glad we did! Ordered: Truffle Cheese Pizza: 4/5 Minestrone Soup: 4/5 Eggplant: 5/5 Truffle Cheese Pizza It was heavy on the truffle so if that's your vibe then go for it. Although we did share this pizza, it was thin enough that you could down on your own. Minestrone Soup Really good! Great flavor and not too hearty for a minestrone. I only wish I had more bread for some dipping action. Eggplant Pasta The red sauce was excellent. The eggplant was cooked just right to where it still held its shape. Parking: 5/5 There's a underground lot off the main street which has free parking up to 2 hours. Hospitality: 5/5 So friendly! We forgot how much we'd have to share and they were more than happy to give us extra plates and such. Atmosphere: 5/5 The outdoor seating is so cute and spaced out well for COVID. For COVID as well, they have hand sanitizer and wiping down the tables after use. They were kidding about the Bites factor. This isn't a full blown Italian place. But if you want a pretty good "bite of Italy" then I'd suggest it!

Yelp
Ordered a salmon salad and some blueberry muffins. Outdoor seating area is nice and perfectly located in the Palisades Village area. The food was really low in quality, unfortunately, with salmon tasting very fishy and clearly not fresh, and the salad also being very mediocre...

Yelp
The best choice in the Palisades for a coffee date. Table service is available on the outside patio next to Caruso's well manicured lawn. Plenty of umbrellas shield you from the sun. The service is expert and gracious. When I ordered my hot matcha latte, our waiter was prepared with the brand names and ingredients of the non-dairy milks. Each hot beverage was finished with an artful heart worked into the foam. For breakfast, the restaurant offers traditional French inspired pastries and baked goods. I ordered the seasonal fruit plate, which was a generous portion of quite fresh mixed berries. My children love the croissants or the bagels and lox. I have a gluten allergy so I have never sampled anything with wheat, but my dining companions always enjoy the simple and fresh pizzettes. The kids love the gnocchi with tomato sauce and melted mozzarella. I highly recommend the cream of broccoli soup -- among the best I have had anywhere. While I did not order it myself, the avocado toast served with fresh tomatoes on top looked extraordinary. This is a great place for all types. I do find lots of people there for coffee dates. And it's a nice place to bring kiddos, because they can eat outside under the umbrellas and also have space to roam. The Village is dog friendly and lots of people sip their morning coffee with their dogs underfoot outside at Edo or next door at Alfred Coffee. If you're in a hurry, you may order at the counter. There is some seating available inside, but inside dining space is small and not particularly atmospheric. The Caruso powder rooms on the second floor of the concierge area are immaculate, luxurious and well stocked. There is even a "mother's room" for feeding babies. A separate bathroom is appointed with diapers, wipes and a changing table. Underground paid parking is available. Elevators or escalators deliver you right up in the heart of shopping center, just outside the concierge lobby.

Yelp
Since we visited this place last year, Still Poor food selection, Ignorant and lazy service. Do not feel like complaining back any more.

Pat D.

Yelp
The salads were bland and tasteless as well as visually unappealing. All of my colleagues experienced gastrointestinal issues afterwards as well. Considering a salad and water was roughly $30 we will not be back.

Yelp
Came here on Sunday for my baby girls 16th birthday! (Not my kid butttttt yeah) Ahhah. We actually ate somewhere else and came here for dessert. Ordered pretty much everything they had. One of each. Fig tarte, pumpkin pie, fruit tart, danote custard tart, lemon meringue, rosemary cookies and others. It all Tasted wonderful! I would def come back. But I must say the cashier was ridiculous. Hence the one star off. Obviously I said FOR HERE and she said I said Togo. Like why the fuck would I say Togo. Ridiculous. And she tries to argue with me saying you said Togo. Wtf don't tell me what I said and did not say. I said for her. And she literally just brought us plates. It's like no you can take out all the shit you boxed and plate it for me and bring it to me. Since it's your mistake. Please replace her. I think she had a thick accent with tattoos. Didn't get her name. Horrible service.

Yelp
Tastes like I'm in Rome but the exception is the price is not even doubled but like 3x times the price I would pay in Europe. There pretty nice there and they have the classic selection of food. I really adore the chocolate croissant. It's massive and they make it a bit different then most places. They add a little glaze on top and have way more chocolate. Might even be better then Rome, but don't tell anyone I said that. They have been around since opening, so they're doing something right.

Yelp
Woohoo! In the new (and expensive) Palisades Village, Edo Little Bites serves as a cute sandwich shop for an affordable bite. I ordered the prosciutto & mozzarella sandwich for ~$15 which included a small salad. #easywin Though it was a chilly day, we opted to sit outside as the outdoor heaters were more than enough to keep us warm. This allowed us to people and dog watch facing the Christmas tree and nutcracker decorations. Shoutout to the designers of the Village and all the shops as there's great outdoor seating every few feet. Friendly customer service and good spot if you're looking for a casual dining place in Palisades Village.

Rachel K.

Yelp
I love this cafe. It is always consistent and delicious. My stylist Yelena who worked at Brunello brought me here every time I visited the village. She had left since and whenever I frequent CA I visit edo. Some people just have the best taste. You need to try their pastas and now they have more variety than when they first opened. They also serve wine. Probably one of the best meals in Palisades/Beach and as close to Italian as you will have.

Yelp
Perfect service, good quality food, simple and nice place with a good ambiance. I enjoyed my breakfast.

Jeremiah R.

Yelp
The servers at this place were very rude to our kids who went for lunch. Will not go there again. Food is mediocre anyway.

Tom G.

Yelp
Price for a small coffee 4.93 yea that's insane. Alfred's next door is much better. Also this is the only place that charges tax on coffee
google avatar

Yelp
This facility is not Covid compliant. I sat out side today and watched numerous tables change patrons with no table wipe downs. Why don't facilities comply with standards ? I realize people are hungry to escape their backyard , however as patrons we MUST be secure in Covid Standards. It doesn't exist here today . It's 7/19 at 2 pm. Area is busy but there is no excuse that management doesn't provide the proper staff on a busy Sunday to thoroughly sanitize tables and chairs per client.
google avatar

Ani A.

Yelp
Tried this place for lunch on Sunday and it was okay. They were out of 50 percent of the menu items. We got two types of pasta and a chopped salad: pasta was good, but the salad was bland.
google avatar

Ai-nhi T.

Yelp
I just got one of their pastries, the almond croissant, and really enjoyed it. They have a separate outdoor seating area but reserved for people ordering a sit down meal. Luckily there are other tables within the shopping area that I was able to sit and enjoy the croissant. The person working when I ordered was very nice and patient and even asked if it was my first time there and explained a little backstory to the place. Would recommend for the pastries and might come back to order an actual meal next time.

Yelp
Pricey but delicious and my favorite chicken salad ever. The quality is great in Pacific Palisades where I frequent.

Yelp
The service at this place is absolutely abysmal. For a Tuesday afternoon it was horrible - can't imagine what it would be like on a weekend. Every time we needed something we had to flag someone down and basically beg for it. We were served salads with no silverware and it took about 5 minutes and repeatedly asking to receive them. On top of that the food seems like its just microwaved old sandwiches - the chicken/cheese is rubbery. Also got a $6.50 lemonade lol wow.

Kellie M.

Yelp
First of all, I want to start out by saying that I am in love with Edo Bites at the Grove. The food is amazing. Everyone on the staff is friendly and absolutely wonderful. I had the complete opposite experience at the Edo Bites in the Palisades. I have never been treated so rudely and disrespectfully by the woman Nicole that was working there on Monday when I came in. I got there at 5:30pm. I was in the middle of eating my meal and at 6:04pm she aggressively informed me that I needed to pack up my food right away and leave. I had 4 rigatoni left on the plate. I asked her - can I please just have 2 minutes to eat my ravioli? She said that the woman needs to wash my plate now. Note to the owner-- if you want customers to keep coming back to your restaurant, you might want to have a chat with Nicole about how she treats customers. She seemed terse and upset from the second I walked in the door.

L Y.

Yelp
Foofis great. Ambience is nice except for employees behind the counter. Going to alert concierge at Caruso mall that we posted this so they know the public can read this review. Employees are rude and quite obnoxious. they won't look you in the eye and it feels like they don't want any of the customers to walk in the door. They appear to try and purposefully be oppositional in a passive way. They turn some people away for paying cash, but we have watched entire tables pay cash in the same hour. Depending on..... what? If you tip more? You can buy your way to get what you want? If you walk in 10 minutes before closing to get something- to go- not eat in- they decide they cleaned up early so you are out of luck ? On your time to drive there, pay for parking, and gas? Unless..... you tip them extra? If you want to close 15 minutes early, then change your posted hours.. And don't discriminate. Everybody should be turned away or nobody is turned away. Equally.. And to the employees, LOSE the attitude. Its dumb.

Yelp
Lovely cafe with a nice menu, mainly lunch + all day breakfast. Highly recommend the ham&brie sandwich, all the soups and their waffles! Price is on par for the area. Very good coffee, they serve Lavazza. Indoor and outdoor seating available.
google avatar

Georgia E.

Yelp
Service is truly bad. Overpriced and mediocre food. The first time we went about 3 mo ago, both food and service were better. I had to ask and wait a long time for every little thing: water, bread with soup that was NOT minestrone as advertised, jam was NOT raspberry as advertised, sugar for coffee. The bread took 15minutes to get and it was frozen when I got it. They replaced it with an old stale dinner roll, quartered and it was dry and charred burnt around the edges. Super disappointing experience.
google avatar

Nijole T.

Yelp
The food here is absolutely delicious! They have great sandwiches and soups to go. Prices are high, but the quality is well worth a splurge. Service is great, the store is very clean and well-maintained.

Eva G.

Yelp
Love everything on the menu I actually ate. outstanding dessert. Favorite waiter back to school. Current need to be trained.
google avatar

Sol R.

Yelp
We have been there many times we love it! BUT! The last time we went there we got a bug in our mac and cheese!!!! Idk what to say then, it was so big and gross I would never order mac and cheese again

Mili A.

Yelp
Terribly ran place. Come here occasionally as a local. 40 minute wait for salad with only 4 tables with people in the whole place. Mediocre food. The manager came over and she was very rude, clearly incompetent and should be replaced.
google avatar

Yelp
I came hear for lunch and ordered the organic chrispy chicken sandwich. Really great food, amazing service and the outdoor seating was relaxing and beautiful.

Yelp
Great food and service. Super nice staff. Comfortable seating. Never had a bad experience here.

Yelp
LOVE my little Italian Cafe in Palisades Village! I walk here- it's peaceful and authentic. Edo and his family are often here- and they put love into everything that they prepare fresh daily. I also purchase the pasta sauce a few times per month, when I want a taste of Giorgio Baldi at home! The full menu is available when they open each morning, which is wonderful- as I like lunch for breakfast! The staff and baristas are so thoughtful and friendly! Thank you Edo and Family! XOXO

Ed N.

Yelp
Thinnest, smallest pizza I've ever had-- and $19. Seriously, it's just sauce on a cracker. Ridiculous. Meatballs were good, but only 2 for $15. And there's so much sauce in the bowl--at least throw in a couple slices of dipping bread. Left there starving after spending $70.
google avatar

Enna C.

Yelp
Everything here is so delicious. The soups, bakery, salads all good. My favorite is broccoli soup. Here is perfect, if you are not so hungry, but want to eat something.

Kim W.

Yelp
The food is amazing. We got the avo toast. Unfortunately the food came out before our drinks (we asked for hot tea). When we asked them to bring our tea and milk. They forgot the milk and they actually ended up clearing our plates before bringing the milk so we had our drinks after the meal.
google avatar

Matthew I.

Yelp
Absolutely horrible! Got a table outside waited 5 minutes for waitress. Turns out they are out of practically every sandwich so we asked for a few minutes to review other options. TEN MINUTES go by the waitress doesn't come back even though she is a few steps away. So we just got up and left. We weren't the only table that walked away either. She clearly had no idea what she was doing and had a nasty attitude. Sucks to see a restaurant associate to e.baldi be so bad. Tarnishes the name for sure.

Y. C.

Yelp
This review is for the brand new Manhattan Village Mall location. I went to try a few things at this location today and I am SO DISAPPOINTED!!! I got a roast beef sandwich and a caprese sandwich and the bread/baguette was HORRIBLE. Old, Dry, tasteless and it's unacceptable that they are charging $14.50 for these TINY, terrible items! How can a new store serve such inedible food, especially when they are brand new? I'm sure the rents are very high, but the price is outrageous. If the sandwiches were amazing, maybe I would be ok with the price, but talk about adding insult to injury. Won't be going back. I dream of the day when someone who actually cares about and understands great-tasting food, opens a place like this in the South Bay - but done the RIGHT way!!! Why does no one down here understand quality??

Rebecca L.

Yelp
The last time I went there, the bakery had a hair underneath... Services there is also very bad. They always need reminder to serve your food.

Maryam R.

Yelp
I would give 5 start to this location only because of the super nice and friendly staff. Every single of them are just awesome, I start my day here with a coffee and now They all know me here. However, I would give the owner 1 start because of the the employees' uniform! BLACK JENAS with BLACK LONG SLEEVE button down shirts and a Jean apron on top of everything !!! I mean come on ?! Today was 87 degrees in palisades and I could see them all sweating A LOT ! @Edo's owner: could you tolerate this uniform only for one hour ? No seriously, let me know because I really am curious to know what you think. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks

Yelp
Amazed no one has mentioned the croissants. They are perfect. Very friendly A fresh croissant and a double dry cappuccino is my morning ritual while I'm in town. Does anyone know where to get a good croissant in Palm Springs OK, I'm answering my own question. There are great croissants to be found in Palm Springs. The place is called French Corner Café in Palm Desert. As good as any I've ever had. Period

LA.gal S.

Yelp
Delicious coffee. Worst customer service experience. Will never be back. I came here to enjoy some delicious espresso drinks and a small bite. I sat down and ordered my coffee, was perusing the menu when I was told that other people are waiting to be seated and they took the menu. When I got my coffee, without exaggeration, I was asked every 1-2 minutes when I was going to order something else. The servers would not leave me alone and kept harassing me. I asked them "Do you want me to leave?" And their response was "people are waiting"! After all the harassment, I gulped down my coffee and left in less than 6 minutes. When I was given the bill I respectfully said that it was not nice to rush me and make me feel bad and their response was "well, this is a business". Unbelievable. Never have I been made to feel so bad. I understand this is a business but I think rushing people to leave within 2 minutes of sitting is very unhospitable and, if you are trying to seat others, there are nice ways of presenting this to those seated that would make them happy to help you.
google avatar

Sam H.

Yelp
This place was delicious. My mom kept wanting to go so I can try the pumpkin soup. I tried both the pumpkin soup and chicken salad. The soup was light, so flavorful, not too sweet or salty. Scrumptious. The salad was something I could eat daily. The outdoor atmosphere is so perfect during the day. Lovely setting and a fantastic light, but filling lunch. Can't wait to go back next week.
google avatar

Ray S.

Yelp
Very horrible service. The breakfast for two people showed up 15 min apart. They they gave me an attitude for getting the order wrong. And they felt very great for refunding me my breakfast. The owner has no clue how horrible they are running this place.
google avatar

Richard S.

Yelp
Loved everything g we had for breakfast! Asparagus with poached egg, granola and yogurt, fried calamari, all fantastic! Very cute outdoor seating area as well.
google avatar

Kerry K.

Yelp
A great addition to the new mall where you can get quick bites. Though the name is "little bites", do expect very small portions. Prices seem good until you get tiny food. The food though small, tastes great. Friendly efficient staff. Hope they can expand their seating.

Yelp
I overheard girls talking about a grilled cheese while I was next door so I decided to give this place a shot. This review is solely based on the customer service I received. I was sitting waiting for a menu for a good 10 or so minutes. Then when I finally got a menu the lady said "so what do you want" and I said I'm not sure I am looking. THEN 30 seconds later she came back and annoyingly asked if we were ready. She never even asked what drinks we wanted!!! She made me feel so extremely uncomfortable and rushed that I just left. Not to mention the table had noticeably not been cleaned, which was concerning, especially during Covid going on.
