Beautiful plants, thoughtfully packed! I ordered 4 plants from Ed’s Plant Shop on May 9th and received them on May 17th here in Georgia—right within their 5-8 day shipping window. The packaging was super secure and eco-friendly, using paper and padding to keep each plant safe and snug. You can really tell they took care with it. Like with any plant shipment, a little stress from the travel and packaging is totally normal, but all four arrived in great condition—healthy, vibrant, and already bouncing back after a short rest. They were clearly well cared for before making the journey. If you’re okay with a bit of a wait and want plants that arrive happy and healthy, I’d absolutely recommend Ed’s Plant Shop in Brooklyn. I’m already thinking about what I want to order next!

I absolutely love Ed’s Plant Shop. The setup and design alone make you want to walk out with way more plants than you planned. Everything is laid out so thoughtfully and so cute. It’s one of those spots where you instantly feel like you discovered a little hidden gem in Brooklyn. Ed’s customer service is amazing, too. It’s so refreshing to find someone who’s enthusiastic about plant care, and every time I go I feel like I learn something new. He carries a little bit of everything too, like inexpensive moss poles to higher-end options and affordable pots to beautifully crafted ones. There’s truly something here for everyone, whether you’re a beginner or a full-on plant parent. If you know someone who loves plants, this is the place to grab the cutest, thoughtful gifts and knickknacks. Honestly, I recommend this shop to anyone even remotely into plants. It’s such a vibe and definitely one of my favorite plant spots in the Brooklyn.

I had never purchased a plant through the mail before, but after reading the good reviews here, I decided to. I was not disappointed! The plant arrived well-packaged and in excellent condition, healthy. Overnight the leaves unfurled a bit and now it looks even better. I am very happy with this experience with Ed's, and I have to also say that the customer support was wonderful, too! Great communication and caring. Thank you! :)

I have a new plant shop for my orders! My Calthea White Fusion was pact neatly and carefully. It was in great condition as well! Like I said above, I have a new store for purchasing plants. I bought two more beautiful plants! Completely satisfied. More beautiful plants!! I'm loving my collection

Plants were shipped in the dead of winter, snowpocalypse even, from NY to MI. and arrived in good condition . Temps were in the single digits yesterday, small cold damage on outer leaves but overall great. Shipping did take forever from order to receive Ordered 1/29, delivered 2/17. Plant selection was great.

I’m lucky enough to live within visiting distance of Ed’s. I’ve shopped multiple plants and all have been happy and healthy. Ed has been so thoughtful with his help and suggestions while I peruse his studio, making sure I choose the best plants for my nyc windows. I always look forward to visiting and seeing what I come home with.

Top quality plant! I bought a Monstera Albo, a big purchase for me. I was so pleased with the plant, it was large, healthy and it has grown into a glorious specimen.

Not ally of places to choose from in the area for a small nursery. Ed's Plantshop has a friendly staff and a huge variety of plants to browse. The hours are limited, but worth the trip for beautiful plants. It's a small shop, but filled with options not found in the large shops. Walk up the stairs, down the hall, make a left, and the door is on the right.

I ordered these plants for Mother's Day. Due to high order value they arrived about a week later. She loved them. The staff was friendly via email and responded fast. Plants arrived and was well packaged. Plan ahead of you are ordering a plant gift for a special holiday do that you can receive it on time. They use UPS one day shipping once your order is processed. I will order from them again.

Unfortunately a dismal experience all around. Since I'm in the neighborhood, I'd ordered 10 terracotta bases for pickup. I inquired casually for an entire week through not only text -- the supposed quickest response, but by email and voice messages with absolutely no response or acknowledgement. I finally opted to send them a text to cancel my order and I'd be contacting the BBB because this clearly seemed like a scam. A day after my text, I received an email from "Nikki Weed" who said that they'd had a 'personal family matter' and that they were ready to make 'everything just right'. OK. I can understand that response from a small business and I reciprocated that I'd be able to pick up the order the next week. Then, inexplicably I received a text that my order was cancelled per my text sent prior to my email response to Nikki. Clearly no intra-communication happening with their self-described "small (but mighty)" customer service team. I'm all about supporting small businesses, but these guys could care less about the small customer trying to support them.

Visit Ed's plant shop for their amazing service, selection and love of plants. They have a wide variety of unique plants you can't find in typical stores. From large to small they have it all. As you can see in the pictures how beautiful this planter came out. Thank you to the team at Ed's for taking the time to help me pick the plants and planter. They also potted it for me at no extra charge.

I can actually show proof of the email, as well as emails receivied from your business where my email is correct. Receiving emails go back from June 6,2024. If my email was entered incorrect on my part then I wouldn't be receiving any emails at all. I can also show proof I called from my phone and left messages via phone. Please do not make excuses or try to blame me that I entered incorrect email. If it wasn't that I left a review I would not have heard back. yes it was for store pick up but I was also told for an additional shipping cost it would be shipped. Which I was more than willing to pay. it wasn't about the money it was the bad customer service. Days went by and She had my number.

This is my second review for Ed's Plant Shop and I'm not a person to take the time to write reviews. I cannot highly recommend buying from this amazing vendor enough! My first order from them had two types of begonia, so I was over the moon to discover that my "rescue" plant in this order was another variation of a gorgeous begonia!! I'm not even sure where "rescue" comes in on their website, because the plant I got was more lush and healthier than pricey "luxe" plants I've ordered from past shops! My "mystery" plant is also a full, beautiful stunner with lots of babies. Don't even get me started on my new Triostar. This one was a replacement for a very sickly one that was ordered for me as a birthday gift this past year. The one that passed was -- you guessed it! -- an overpriced and very struggling plant that didn't have a chance. Ed's Plant Shop sent me a Triostar that is four times the size of the previous plant from past vendor and it's thriving. If you have hesitation about the rescue or mystery plant or just like gambling to win and making a random day seem like Christmas, do what I'm going to do next week and buy some rescue and mystery plants from this shop. Buy ANY plant, you won't be disappointed!
